Chapter 1: It Goes Best On Pancakes
In the town of Maretropolis, there lived a disease. A plague, if you will. It sweeped through the city streets and infected all who dared near it. Carefully, Mane-iac removed the screen from the duct so it didn’t make any type of grating noise that would give away her position, then carefully set the screen on the floor below while she used her mane as a makeshift cushion to quiet her fall. Dusting herself off with a snide smirk clear on her face, Mane-iac reached out with her tentacle-like hairs to grasp the vault’s large doors and began to wrench it free.
