My name is Shining Glass, and I'm an orphan.

One can only stay in an orphanage for so long before it gets to you. The same tedium, the same days, the same feelings of loneliness and isolation. It had to end.

So I ran away. Not the smartest thing a young colt has ever done, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.
