Black and White Truth
In a time when the mare in the moon was still there, two ponies were working for the good of a commune in the middle of the desert. One of them's a saint, one of them's a sinner. Guess which is which.
Treasure-hunting is little more than piracy. Running a commune in the middle of the desert is a legitimate charitable expense. What is true and what is false?
Things aren't what they seem, as good becomes evil and evil becomes good. Names can no longer be trusted. History is a buried skeleton being slowly unearthed. The certainties of youth become the illusions of age.
They call themselves "Monochrome Mosey" and "Lady Verity". Almost certainly not the truth, one might think. Sadly, the truth isn't always so black and white.

Alternate Universe: Story began development prior to the finale of Season 5. Starlight's character details here will radically conflict with the story details shown there and thereafter, but Black and White Truth is otherwise written to be consistent with canon.
Rating: General reading, but some scenes contain violence beyond the TV show's standard.
