Celestia's sun rose at the beginning of a new day. It's radiant light shining over Ponyville, focusing on the Crystal Castle that stood at the center, inside one of it's many rooms lay a sleeping figure on his bed, he was a young man of 18,, yet had much younger features along with a height that was short for his age with green hair and was resting soundly until he woke up with a yawn.

It was Twilight whose arms were on his chest and had a a nightgown, obviously he was surprised.

"Twilight!?" he asked incredulously.

This caused Twilight to wake up.

"Oh good morning Spike." she said as she got up and rubbed her eyes.

"Uh, Twilight, not to sound rude butt...WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM, IN MY BED!?" he asked still shocked.

"Hmm? Oh right, I worked very late last night, guess I must have sleep-walked into your room." she shrugged like it was nothing as she stretched her arms and wings.

Twilight Sparkle made her way to the castle's library, she was alone with her thoughts.

"Well, see you later." he said as he went off.

Ponyville was as lively as it usually is, its residents conversing with each other and going about their business, Spike was casually walking, thinking of where to go.

'Maybe I should go to Sugarcube Corner, I had a light breakfast.' he thought.

Spike made his way to the entrance of Sugarcube Corner, went inside and made his way to the counter then rang the bell.

"Coming!" yelled a voice from the kitchen.

'Pinkie.' Spike thought recognizing the voice.

Pinkie Pie came through the door and saw who was behind the counter.

"Spike, nice to see you!" she yelled happy to see him as she hopped over and gave him a big hug.

"Uh, good to see you too Pinkie." he said with blush on his cheeks.

"So what brings you here?" she asked letting go.

"I had a light breakfast, so I figured I'd stop by and grab something to eat, also to say hi." he told her.

"Okay then, what'll it be?" she asked him.

"I'll just have milkshake and muffin." he said.

"Coming right up." she said as she did a backflip over the counter and went to get Spike's order, after 10 seconds she came back and hopped over the counter again and gave Spike his order. "Here you go!" she said.

"Thanks." he said as he took a bite out of the muffin and drank the milkshake.

"So got any plans later?" she asked.

"I thought I'd just walk around see everypony else, then head on home." he said.

"Really, sure you don't wanna make a change in plans?" she suggested with a sly smile and tone, also giving him bedroom eyes.

"What do you mean?" he asked curiously.

"Oh I dunno, maybe ask Twilight if you could spend the night over here." she said as she draped her arms around Spike.

"Look out below!" a female voice yelled.

"Oh no." he said realizing who it was and what was about to happen.

He looked up and saw that it was Rainbow Dash diving in very fast, unfortunately he wasn't quick enough to dodge her.

"Oof!" he grunted as he fell down, opening his eyes he saw the position he was in, he saw a close up view of Rainbows butt that was sitting on his face!

"Ease up man, besides don't act like you didn't like it ." she told him.

"Oh man, this is really becoming a strange day, all I wanted was to stroll around town, say a few hellos and go home, definitely didn't expect this." Spike said to himself, yet he couldn't help but think.

'As awkward as it was, it did feel kinda nice, Rainbow's butt on My face-wait no, remember, don't think like that, I mean yeah I'm legally an adult now but these are my friends, it would just be weird.' he the stopped and saw he was in front of the Carousel Boutique.

"Rarity." he said dreamily. When he opened the door, the bell that was on it rang, letting Rarity know someone was in.

"Precisely, now wait here while I go fetch one of them." she said heading to the dressing room.

'Okay, this'll definitely not turn out like before, it's Fluttershy." Spike thought, assuming Fluttershy's passive nature would not lead to any compromising situations.

Spike saw Fluttershy's cottage just up ahead, he went to the door, and knocked.

"Who is it?" her voice asked inside.

"Its me Spike." he said

"Oh! I'll be right there!" she said before opening the door.

"Spike, it's so nice to see you." she said giving him a warm hug.

"Nice to see you too." he said hugging back, when they both let go he took in her appearance. "Hey Spike, I need some help." she called from the kitchen.

"Be right there." he called back, getting up and went in.

He saw Fluttershy reaching for a tall cabinet.

"Mind reaching for me?" she asked.

"Sure." he replied, him and Fluttershy were both reaching for a box, but then she tripped.

They opened their eyes and saw that the were face to face and that she was completely on top of him, they were blushing furiously, but neither seemed to get off, then Fluttershy began to lean in closer to Spike's mouth, and he didn't stop her, but then they were interrupted by the noises of the animals in the living room.

"I uh, think they want food." he said.

"Oh, o-of course." she said as they both got up.

"Maybe I should go home now, bye." he said walking off.

"Okay, be sure to drop by anytime, if you want of course." she told him.

"Yeah, sure thing." he said smiling, as he exited through the door.

'Oh Spike, we were so close.' she thought and was kinda disappointed.

As Spike was walking back to the castle he thought about how his morning went.

'Oh boy, this was an eventful morning, I need to go lie down.' he thought.

He saw the crystal castle, and went in where Twilight greeted him.

"Hey Spike, back already?" she asked.

"Yeah I'm gonna go rest for a bit, later." he said.

"Right, have a nice nap." she said, wondering exactly how exactly his morning went.
