Sorry Bluecatcinema. But after much debates with my editor, the Breezies just aren't cut out to take place as elves. They're more fairy-like than elf. Guess we're due with some primates for elves.

Welcome to the North Pole

8:09 PM, Dec. 24
After being blasted out of Pinkie Pie's giant cannon, Rainbow Dash and Rudolph flown across Equestria at an immense speed, before they crash landed in a pile of snow at the North Pole.

Rainbow got up, shaking the snows off, before looking around to see the state the North Pole was in. Obviously, the whole land was covered in snow, but the sky was darker than usual, with clouds swirling overhead. The winds were blowing violently, sending lots of snow into Rainbow Dash's face, thankfully shielded by her goggles and mask.

"So, this is the North Pole?" Rainbow asked. "I'm even more surprised to know that anything, besides you and Santa Hooves, could live here."

"Oh believe me Rainbow Dash," Rudolph muttered. "It's home. Though, it's never really this harsh before," Rudolph's red nose glowed and a beam of crimson light was emitted. "C'mon, Hearth's Warming Town is just this way."

With that, the two trudged onward to Hearth's Warming Town, pushing their way through the strong, icy, blinding winds, with Rudolph's red nose lighting the way.

"Q-Q-Quite the w-w-winter wonderland," Dash shivered.

After what felt like hours, the two finally reached Hearth's Warming Town, which is completely buried in snow.

"NO!" Rudolph screamed, running through the ruins of the town, frantically digging through the snow.

Rainbow Dash followed, shocked to see the devastation befalling on Hearth's Warming town, especially on Hearth's Warming Eve. Suddenly, through her goggles, she noticed something moving in the snow. As she got closer, she was shocked to see a white pony, with icicles for horns, levitating snow shovels, and shoveling through the snow. Soon enough, Rainbow Dash looked around to see even more white ponies with icicles for horns, shoveling throw the snow. One of the ponies had shoveled a pile of snow away, tossing it in the air before coming back down and landed on Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash shook the snows off, before another pile landed next to her, causing her to back up a bit, bumping into something, alive.

Rainbow turned around and was met with an angry stare from a giant, white gorilla-like monster. Rainbow Dash yelped as she leaps into the air, onto a roof, while the monster climbed after her. Rainbow Dash quickly packed together a snowball and threw it at the monster. The monster looked at Rainbow Dash with a scowl, before its frown turns into a grin as it scooped together a giant snowball and threw it at the pegasus. Rainbow Dash poked her head out, to see the gorilla laughing, while pointing its toes at her.

"Oh yeah!" Rainbow Dash shouted, throwing another snowball at the monster.

Eventually, the two were engaged in a snowball fight, to which the ponies took notice, and dropped their shovels to join in the fight.
The monster throw another snowball at Rainbow Dash, who batted it away with an icicle. She reached out for another snowball, but accidentally took off one of the ponies's head. Rainbow Dash quickly took noticed when she looked at the head in bewilderment.

"Hello!" the head greeted, to which Rainbow Dash dropped with a yelp. "Ow!"

"Uh...sorry," Rainbow Dash apologized, hesitantly.

"No worries. Nothing a snow pony," the head replied. "Except maybe get his head back on his body?"

Rainbow turned to see the headless body stumbling around, pelted by snowballs, before bumping into a wall. Grabbing the head by its horn, Rainbow Dash placed it back onto the body.

"Thank you," the snow pony thanked, before it got hit by another snowball. The gorilla from before, laughing and clapping its hands together, and blowing a raspberry at the two.

Rainbow Dash and the snow pony turned to each other, before looking back at the monster with snowballs in their hooves, with the monster doing the same. The three charged at each other, until a voice broke out.

"STOP!!" a flash of red lights erupted, causing every pony to turn their attention to Rudolph with a stern look on his face.

All of the snow ponies looked at the reindeer, before they parted, pointing hooves at the monster and Rainbow Dash, and saying, "They started it!"

"I can explain," Rainbow Dash smiled sheepishly with the monster doing the same.

8:19 PM
After the snow ponies got back to plowing through the snows, Rudolph had a talk with Rainbow Dash and the monster.

"Well Rainbow Dash," Rudolph said. "I see you've been acquainted with our yeti friend, Snowball."

"Snowball?" Rainbow asked, turning to the yeti. "I can see two reasons why they call you that."

Snowball snorted in agreement, before Rudolph continued, "Still, we're on a very important mission here! Tonight's Christmas Eve and we've got only...." Rudolph turned to a clock that reads, "3 hours and 41 minutes until midnight! Do you know how crucial it is that we find Santa ASAP?!"

Rainbow Dash and Snowball both looked down in shame, answering, "You're right, Rudolph. We're sorry."

Snowball grunted in agreement.

Seeing the two have learned their lessons, Rudolph sighed, "Well, now that that's over. Let's get back to digging Hearth's Warming Town out, defrosting dad, and find Santa," Rudolph looked out the window to see the snow ponies, and some yetis that have arrived to help, continue their digging and grimaced. "Though even with the snow ponies' and some of Snowball's friends, we just may not find dad in time."

Rainbow looked up again, answering with confidence, "Then leave it to me!"

Rainbow Dash spun herself into a tornado, vacuuming all of the snows up. She looked down to see the snow ponies and yetis picking up some ice blocks, before carrying them away to a building with smokes billowing out the chimney. Rudolph was at work, keeping the fire running, with his nose, and a magnifying glass to magnify the heat of his light. Snowball and some of his yeti friends all cleared the streets in ten seconds flat, throwing them all into Rainbow Dash's tornado, who quickly discarded them elsewhere, away from the town.

At last, everyone in Hearth's Warming Town were thawed out. Rainbow Dash returned, exhausted, sitting down on a comfy chair, before being offered a hot chocolate by a monkey, with thick furs that made it looked like it was wearing an overcoat and a beard, with its pink face exposed.

"Thank you," Rainbow gratefully accepted the cup and took a satisfying drink, looking around to see the whole room, crowded with yetis, snow ponies, snow monkeys, and reindeers.

"Rainbow Dash!" Rudolph called out.

Rainbow Dash looked to see standing next to Rudolph, is another reindeer, taller than him with bigger antlers.

"Hey Rudolph!" Rainbow replied, before turning to the older reindeer. "Is this...?"

"Blitzen?" the older reindeer answered. "Indeed I am," Blitzen then bowed his head. "And it's an honor to meet you, Rainbow Dash."

"Feeling's mutual, sir," Rainbow returned the greeting, before looking up with a serious look. "So, your son here told me that Santa was kidnapped and you know who took them."

Blitzen's closed his eyes as the event flashed back into his mind.

"Yes," he answered grimly. "I do,"

"Can you tell us what happened?"

Blitzen sighed as he sat down, recalling the events.

Meanwhile, in a cave, deep in a dark chasm, a tall, dark, lumbering creature was emerging from its lair. It eyes glowed red as made its way out of the chasm, before stopping to see the remains of a hot air balloon. It stopped in its track, sniffing the remains, before it growls.

"Pony......" it growled, resuming its trip out of the chasm. "Some pony's in trouble.....tonight...."
