Chapters A Love That Burns Brighter Than The Sun
After becoming the new Prince of Equestria, Eternal Flames had finally decided to settle down in Ponyville and resume his daily routine, which consisted of having to spend 2 hours a day training his physical appearence, putting food on the table for him and his friends (of course they helped out too) and his younger brother Heat Wave. At first it was difficult for him because the citizens of Ponyville always referred him as "His Majesty", or "Honorable Prince Eternal", and even "The Great Son of Princess Celestia." Eternal wasn't comfortable with the ponies overlooking his title. It took him roughly 2 weeks to let the citizens know that he can just be referred as "Eternal." Right now, Eternal is in his backyard sweating up a storm, doing push-ups while he has two hay bales on his back. Without him noticing, his life long friend, Shadow Force, sneaks up behind him with a sinister look on his face.
"CANNONBALL!!!" Shadow shouts, jumping onto the two hay bales Eternal has on his back which causes him to lose his momentum and slams to the ground.
"GAH!!!" Eternal shouts in pain. "What the hell do you think you're doing? Are you trying to brake my damn back?!"
"Sorry there, bud. I was just trying to have a little fun."
"Yeah well, if my back gives out, it's coming out of YOUR bit pouch and not mine."
"Ok, cool it, "hot shot" I'm gettin' off" he says with a chuckle
Eternal then pushed himself off the ground with brute force launching the hay bales off his back.
"And don't call me "Hot Shot." ya knucklehead." Eternal says a bit frustrated.
He then sits down on the bench drinking a glass of water. Minutes later his friend from law school, Tidal Wave, shows up and gives to Eternal a letter.
"Hmm, what's this?" Eternal says to himself. He opens it and sees that it's a letter from Twilight Sparkle. "Wait, what the?"
"Dear Eternal
I'd like for you to come over to my castle tomorrow. It doesn't matter what time. There this special place that I discovered a while back when I first became the Princess of Friendship. Perhaps maybe I could show you and maybe I could introduce you to a few friends of mine that I met over there, If you're too busy, or if you're not interested, that's ok.

"A special place? Why do I get the feeling that this is all one big setup for a prank?" Eternal said. But then he shook his head. "Nah, Twilight's probably not the type to play these type of pranks on me OR my pals. This new world she mentioned DOES have me curious." Eternal rolled up the letter so he could finish up his last 30 minutes of training by running around Ponyville to gain speed and stamina.
After he finished, he had bought some groceries from the market before heading home. Eternal sees his pals playing a game of poker and as usual, Hurricane Blitz was beating them. Eternal shook his head in amusement as he headed towards the kitchen.
"You little weasel, how do you keep winning?" Ground Dasher said
"Don't know, I'm just that skilled in it as all." Hurricane replies
"I swear, this is the 7th time you've beaten us already. If this keeps up we're gonna lose all of our chips!" Spark Wave says
"Not Heat Wave, he's always betting as low as possible." Shadow Force says pointing to Heat Wave
"What? I prefer keeping myself in the game a bit longer. You guys on the other hoof, you're always thinking too big." Heat Wave replies with a smile and chuckle. "But, Tidal Wave, how come you never play poker with us?"
"I prefer to keep my mind focused on my work." Tidal Wave replies. "Speaking of work, I have to get going. I've got to work for the rest of the night and I probably won't be back by tomorrow morning."
"Before you go, be sure to grab your lunch, I got it packed for you." Eternal says
"Oh, thanks, Tidal Wave. Can't resume my work on an empty stomach." Tidal Wave says.
Tidal Wave then walks out of the house and off to work. Ground Dasher was a bit puzzled, but it wasn't because of his losing streak in a simple game of poker.
"I don't get it, Eternal, if you always make HIM lunch, how come I don't?!" Ground Dasher says.
"You eat apples on an almost daily basis, Ground Dasher, you get plenty to eat." Eternal replies.
"So stop complaining about not having a packed lunch, ya glutton." Spark Wave retorts.
Soon everybody's eyes shot wide open after he said that. If there was one thing they never call Ground Dasher, it's "Glutton."
"Uh...Hurricane?" Heat Wave says all scared.
"Yeah?"
"RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!!!" Heat Wave shouts, dashing upstairs with Hurricane close behind.
"Right behind ya!" Hurricane replies
"Spark Wave....." Ground Dasher says in a low tone
"What?"
".....NOW I'M GONNA POUND YOU 'TILL YOU'RE FLAT AS A FLAPPY JACK!!!" Ground Dasher shouts lunging at Spark Wave.
As they start brawling, Eternal had finished making dinner, which consisted of some delicious homemade hayburgers, a large bowl of salad, and some apple fritters for dessert. The smell of the food causes the two stallions in the living room to stop brawling, more specifically, the "glutton" known as Ground Dasher.
"OOOOOOOOH!!!! ME WANT!" Ground Dasher says dashing towards the kitchen, only to get slammed in the gut by Eternal's hoof.
"Not so fast, big buy. You haven't washed your hooves and if you want seconds, then you'll have to clean up the table. This goes for all of you as well." Eternal says, looking at Shadow who was just sitting casually throughout the fight and Spark Wave who was lying down on the floor on his back.
"Got it" they all reply back.
"I-is the fight over?" Heat Wave asks peaking out from the staircase.
"Yes, bro, you can come down. The fight's over." Eternal says reassuringly
After everybody finished cleaning up the table and themselves, they all sat and enjoyed their dinner. Later that night Eternal was in his bedroom thinking about the invitation Twilight gave him. The whole idea of experiencing a brand new world was both thrilling and farfetched at the same time. His last thought were whether or not he'd be welcome in this new world before he fell fast asleep.

Meanwhile with Twilight
"I hope he accepts the invitation. I want to be able to show him this new world. I still remember when I went there the first time. It wasn't exactly pleasant, but at least I made a few new friends." Twilight says to herself quietly. "Then again, if he chooses not to go, I can always respect his decision." This was all she said before drifting off to sleep nuzzling her cute little head into her comfy pillow.

The next morning, Eternal Flames had woken up bright and early. He gets out of bed and cleans himself up in the bathroom. Brushing his teeth, combing his mane, and taking a nice hot shower. After spending 15 minutes getting cleaned up, he heads off to Twilight's castle to explore this new world she told him about. He wasn't exactly sure how far it was or what it was like, but whenever he's offered a chance to experience something new, he wasn't one to shy away from it. Eternal soon arrives at Twilight's doorstep and knocked on the door. Eternal waited for a good 5 seconds before the door unlocked and he saw his lavender friend who had a cute and bright smile on her face as he knew she was excited about this.
"I guess you're answer is "yes" then." Twilight said
"Yeah, it is. But the whole thing about this "other world" still seems a bit farfetched. How far is it anyway? I need to know so I can head home pack up." Eternal said
"Oh you won't have to walk or travel far. It's actually far closer than you think. Come on in."
"Um...ok?"
Twilight then lead Eternal into her castle and into the library where she had her old portal to Canterlot High School. At first glance, Eternal was confused of what the thing really was. Before he could say anything, Twilight's horn lit up and she had soon powered up the machine using her magic energy, causing a portal to appear. Eternal's eyes flung wide open, never moving from his spot as he gazed into the portal with curiousity and dumbfoundedness.
"Twilight, what the hell is this suppose to be?" Eternal says, walking up to the portal until he's inches away from entering.
"This, my dear friend, is the gateway that leads to another world. Although I should mention that you'll have to adjust to a few different...um...features while you're over there."
"Like what?"
"Just follow me and you'll know what I mean. Do you trust me?" she asks extending her hoof towards Eternal.
"*sigh* Yes, I trust, you, Twilight. Lead the way." he says as he let her grab his hoof and pulled him into the portal.
As they entered, Twilight kept her firm grip on Eternal. Eternal wasn't sure what was going on as he and Twilight were traveling. Suddenly a flashing white light blinds him.
Eternal then opened his eyes slowly only to see some strange lavender colored girl with the same indigo colored hair with dark purple and pink stripes on the sides just like Twilight. He felt dumbfounded as he was unaware of what this creature was. She had a light blue shirt and purple skirt with her cutie mark on it. She was standing on her hinde hooves which here covered by her pink and purple boots.
"What in the...Twilight?"
"Yup, it's me. You ok Eternal?"
"I think so, I don't feel any..." he pauses after he felt his own new hand make contact with his forehead. He pulls it away and sees that his "hooves" had changed.
"WHOA?! Twilight, what the hell is going on here? What happened to my hooves?"
"Easy, Eternal. Those are called hands. Everybody has those. But before I explain anything else, why don't you look yourself in the mirror, you'd be surprised." Twilight says smiling
"What are you talking abo-" Once again he pauses to see what he looks like in the mirror.
His skin was still white, but of course, his muzzle was small. He had tan pants and a thin tan coat over his dark red shirt. He saw that his mane (or his hair) was almost reaching his elbows. This made him uneasy at first, but then he calmed down with a few simple deep breaths and picturing a beautiful horizon in his head.
"Ok Twilight, first of all, how come you're standing on your hinde hooves without losing balance and why do I have this outfit on, although it does look good on me." Eternal says as he checks out his outfit in the mirror.
"Well, this world is inhabited by these creatures called "humans" and they don't walk around naked like the rest of us ponies do back in our home, Equestria. Also, humans always stand on their own two "feet," why don't you give it a shot?"
"Hmm...I suppose I could try." He replies trying to stand up.
He felt a bit wobbly at first. Somewhere inside his mind he wished he never accepted this invitation being a stranger in a strange land AS a strange being. Finally he stopped wobbling and stood straight up.
"Great, now try to walk." Twilight says
Eternal nods and slowly lifts his right leg and presses his foot on the ground in front of him. He did the same with his left leg foot until he finally got the hang of it.
"That's great. You actually learned faster than I thought." Twilight said happily
"Yeah, I suppose." Eternal said
After the tutorial on walking like a human, a third voice is heard from behind Twilight.
"Haven't seen you in ages, Twilight." it said.
"Oh hi, Sunset. It's good to see you again." Twilight says turning around and giving her a hug.
Twilight turned and saw her friend Sunset Shimmer. A former student of Princess Celestia who now lives in the human world. Eternal tilts his head to see what she looks like. He blushed at the sight of this girl with turqoise eyes, light yellow skin, fiery red and yellow hair, accompanied with the black leather jacket and purple shirt underneath, orange skirt and black and purple boots. He backed up a bit so he could try not to be seen. But to no avail.
"Oh, who is this? A friend of yours?" Sunset asks.
"Actually yeah. Come on over here and say hi to her." Twilight says signaling him to come over.
Eternal then regained his composure.
"Right, okay." he says as he walks up to Sunset and extends his hand. "I'm pleased to meet you, I'm Eternal Flames."
"Sunset Shimmer, nice to meet you too." she replies giving him a handshake.
"Can I tell you a secret, Sunset?" Twilight whispers with a smile.
"Um...sure, what is it." Sunset replies back
"You just shook hands with Princess Celestia's son and he's the Prince of Equestria." she whispers in a way where Eternal couldn't even hear her voice.
"HE'S WHAT?!" Sunset shouts in disbelief.
"What? What's wrong?" he asked
"Are you really Princess Celestia's son AND the Prince of Equestria?" Sunset asks still shocked.
Eternal's eyes shrunk.
"DAMN IT, TWILIGHT!!!!!" He shouts making her laugh.

The Game That Said it All
All the girls along with Eternal Flames had gathered into Pinkie Pie's bedroom to play Truth or Dare. They all sat around in a circle. Eternal was still unaware of how the game went so he let Sunset explain.
"Alright, it goes like this. Let's say you pick of us. You say to us "Truth or Dare" and depending on which of us you choose, we either pick Truth, meaning we have to answer questions truthfully, or Dare, which is when you tell us to do something either that's fun, embarrassing, or just plain funny. Got it?" Sunset explains.
"Yeah, I think I got it now." Eternal says nodding.
"Alright then, who wants to ask first?" Sunset asks
"OOH, OOH, OOH, PICK ME, PICK ME!!!" Pinkie shouts with her arm high in the air.
"Okay Pinkie, it WAS your idea to play this game." Sunset says.
"That bites. I had the most daring dare for this guy over here." Rainbow Dash says pointing to Eternal.
"You'll have your turn eventually." Sunset says.
"Okay, Applejack, Truth or Dare?"
"Ah pick Truth." AJ replies
'As expected from the Element of Honesty.' Eternal thought to himself.
"Okay, do you ever wish your big brother Big Mac could speak more frequently?" Pinkie asks.
"Nope." Applejack responds in her own version of Big Mac's vocabulary.
"Aww..." Pinkie pouts with her big puppy dog eyes.
"Ma turn. Rainbow Dash, Truth or Dare?"
"I pick dare!"
'Like the daredevil she always is." Eternal says in his thoughts
"Ah dare you to tickle Eternal over here." She says pointing to Eternal next to her.
"Heh, that's it? This'll be easy." She says wiggling her fingers as she inches closer to Eternal with a devious grin. Eternal wasn't moving a muscle while he was looking back at Rainbow Dash. She then got all over his body and started tickling him like a crazed maniac. She kept doing this until she could see Eternal laugh, but Eternal still keeping his "Poker Face" on him while she continued her tickle assault.
"Alright, Rainbow Dash that's enough. He ain't gonn' laugh even if you kept it up 24 hours." says Applejack with a chuckle.
"Aww, man. I was so close!" She says slamming onto the floor in disappointment.
"Well at least you tried your best, "Little Dashie." Eternal says with a warm smile.
"Hey only Pinkie Pie can call me that." Rainbow says giving him a playful push. "Now then, Eternal, Truth or Dare?"
"Truth."
"Aren't you fun at parties." Rainbow Dash mumbles to herself. "Well then, which on of US do YOU like the most?"
Eternal's eyes shrunk, which made the other girls giggle a bit. He found this cute at first, but then he answered by pointing his finger near Sunset Shimmer. This causes her to blush and giggle again with the other girls.
"Well, well, well. Someone is quite the smitten kitten." says Rarity.
"My turn now." Eternal says. He looks at the girls around him and finally makes his decision. "Rarity, Truth or Dare?"
"I pick dare, darling." Rarity says with a confident smirk.
"Alright then, I dare you to change Rainbow Dash's hairstyle and make it look just like yours." Eternal says with a smirk.
"OOH, with pleasure, darling. Now come here Dashie." Rarity says getting closer to Rainbow Dash.
"DAMN YOU, ETERNAL!!! I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS!!!" Rainbow Dash says running away from Rarity who, driven by the inspiring idea, was close behind Rainbow Dash. Because of this, Eternal and the others started laughing.
"Ok, ah gotta admit, that was mighty clever." says Applejack before she continues laughing. While Rarity was chasing Rainbow Dash trying to give her a brand new Rarity style makeover, the others let Twilight take her turn.
"Okay let's see...um...OH! Sunset, Truth or Dare?"
"Dare!"
"Okay, I dare you to...." Twilight signals Sunset to come over to tell her the dare. She also signals the other girls, except Eternal. As she finishes, all of the girls start giggling, except for Sunset, who was blushing. Eternal was confused of what they were giggling about.
"What's with all the giggling and secrecy? What was the dare?" Eternal asks
"We're not telling" They say in unison.
"Well...here goes nothing." says Sunset as she crawls toward Eternal still blushing. At the same time, Eternal also started to blush and backed away a bit.
"W-W-What are you doing?" he stutters.
Sunset then had him backed into the corner of the wall. Soon she leaned in and planted a passionate kiss right on his lips. His eyes flung wide open as she did this. At the same time, Rarity came back with Rainbow Dash who had Rarity's hairstyle and the girls started fangirl screaming at the sight of the two lovebirds.
"OTP, OTP, OTP!!!" They all shouted as Sunset had Eternal in a lip lock.
The kiss lasted for a minute until finally she pulled back. "That was the dare they made me do. Please don't be mad." said Sunset, still blushing as red as her hair.
"I...I'm not mad." Eternal replies still blushing as well. 'My....my first kiss...' he thought to himself.
The girls finally brought the two love birds back into the circle and continued with the game. Since Twilight had taken Rarity's turn, Rarity was given the chance to go next. Eternal and Sunset had finally calmed down.
"Ok, let's see. Ah, Fluttershy. Truth or Dare?"
"Um...I um...I pick truth."
'Timid as always. How adorable.' says Eternal in his thoughts with a warm smile
"Out of all the animals you've cared for, which ones do you feel close to the most?" Rarity asks.
"Oh my...um...there's so many. It's so hard for me to choose just one. But if I had to pick...I..I guess...small forest creatures along with dogs and cats are the ones I love so much." Fluttershy says gently placing her hands on her cheeks, smiling.
"Awww" the girls shout in unison.
"You truly are one of a kind, Fluttershy. This world needs kind and caring people like you." Eternal says.
"Oh, thank you so much." says Fluttershy, as she gives Eternal a gentle hug. Eternal hugs her as well.
2 hours go by and finally, Twilight decided it was time to take Eternal Flames back to Equestria. The other girls escorted them back to the statue outside Canterlot High. They each gave each other hugs.
"Thanks for everything, girls. I really enjoyed your company...maybe when I have the time, I'll stop by for another visit." Eternal says to them as Twilight leaps through the portal.
"Yer more than welcome to stop on by anytime, partner." Applejack replies.
Eternal takes a few steps into the portal but then looks back at the girls...more specifically, Sunset Shimmer. He slightly waves good bye to her and she does the same. Soon, Eternal fully steps into the portal head back to Equestria. Sunset gave a soft sigh, which in turn made the girls look towards her.
"What's the matter darling?" Rarity asks.
"Huh? Oh nothing."
"Ya sure?" Applejack asks
"Yeah, I'm fine." Sunset replies. 'No...no maybe it's not nothing...I think........I think I'm in love.' She says in her thoughts making her blush. She couldn't deny it any more. She had fallen in love with the Prince of Equestria.

It's already been a whole week since Eternal Flames had left the human world and his mind was always drifting off into space thinking about Sunset Shimmer. Although it was hard for the others to notice it since the young prince could easily hide it from the citizens because he kept his eyes hidden underneath his mane and not even smiling as he was walking through town just to burn off some calories. However, his friends and his brother could see that he had fallen in love as they call it "A Rogue Stallion's Intuition." Eventually he told the others that he met this girl named Sunset Shimmer who actually gave him his first kiss which made his friends both jealous and happy for him. One day, he was in the kitchen getting lunch ready. However he was still lost in his mind still thinking about Sunset. His friend Hurricane Blitz was in the living room/dining room setting up the table.
"Hey lover boy, how's that grub coming, man? I'm starving." Hurricane asks but Eternal wasn't listening. "Eternal? You there? ....HEY!" he shouts finally getting his attention.
"Huh? What? What did you say?" Eternal Flames asked.
"Ah forget it, chief. Your mind's not on food. You're thinking about somepony with long eyelashes." Hurricane says rapidly blinking his eyes, not noticing the scent of lunch burning up. "And you're smelling that sweet--" but all too soon he smells it and coughs in disgust. Eternal then notices what's happening.
"HEY, WHOA, CRAP!!! IT'S BOILING OVER!" Eternal shouts trying to cool it down. Hurricane Blitz quickly ran in the kitchen and grabbed the pot of what was suppose to be vegetable soup.
'YOU'RE BURNING THE CHOW!!!" Hurricane shouted turning on the stove fan, removing the pot lid and fanning the pot with a towel.
"Sorry, Hurricane. I guess I was thinking about Sunset Shimmer again. But I can't help it.....I lover her, buddy." Eternal says.
"Eternal I may not be an expert on love, but I think you should stop moping around and just marry the girl." Hurricane says while trying to fix the soup.
"Marry her?" Eternal asks. "You don't just walk to a girl you barely got know, give her a bouquet and say "Hey remember me, we played truth or dare together, will you marry me?"...it just isn't done that way." Eternal says looking away.
"Whoa, wait a second...you played Truth or Dare? You didn't pick dare now, did you?" Hurricane asked a bit worried.
"No, I picked truth and even THAT was embarrassing as hell." Eternal says
"Phew, well it could've been worse if us guys played it." Hurricane said finally finished with fixing the soup.
"Oh yeah, like what?"
"You might end up having to call Ground Dasher a glutton until he pounces at ya."
"Heh, that's true. The big guy never stops taking that seriously."
"I know, right? OH, speaking of Ground Dasher, I heard he finally hooked up with Applejack. He asked her if she could be his marefriend and then she kissed him right in the lips." Hurricane said
"Good for him, what about you. Did you find anypony you like?"
"Yeah...but I haven't asked her yet."
"Oh? Who's the lucky mare you have a crush on?"
"F-F-Fluttershy."
"Aww, that's sweet. But why are you acting so nervous?"
"B-Because, I don't know if....sh-she'll like me the same way I do for her." Hurricane says looking with a sad look.
"Look Hurricane, I may not know a lot about love. But I think you should start slow and steady. Get to know her and start out as friends and maybe share some stories. Be sure to be good listener. My dad learned this when he met mom. When the time is right, tell her that you lover her and how long you've had those feelings for her. If she feels the same way, then congradulations, if she doesn't, ask her if you and her can still be friends."
"Uh...ok. I'll try. But it's a lot easier said than done. You sure it'll work?"
"Well there's no guarantees that it will. But it is worth a shot. All we can do is...hope." Eternal says placing his hoof over Hurricane shoulder. "But I wish you the best of luck."
"Thanks, Eternal."
"No problem."
After the guys had their talk and finished their food, Eternal decided to take a casual stroll around Ponyville again. This time he felt much more calmer then usual. He started walking by the hayburger joint seeing Twilight stuffing her cutesy little face silly. This made him chuckle at this adorable sight.
'She's quite the glutton herself.' he thought to himself. He continued his casual stroll around Ponyville watching the young fillies and colts getting out of school. The sight of the youngsters got Eternal thinking about what it would be like to have children with Sunset. He then snapped himself back into reality with a shake of his head. Eternal then realized that some of his friends were falling in love with some of the mares in town. Ground Dasher with Applejack, Shadow Force with, to Eternal's surprise, Lyra and Bon Bon. Even Shadow Force was confused of why he had two marefriends instead of one. But when he stopped to think about it. Lyra and Bon Bon were always inseperable, even if it meant sharing their new coltfriend. But Eternal acknowledged Shadow Force for being the luckiest stallion. He wasn't even slightly jealous of his pal. Eternal decided that he would pay a visit with Spark Wave to see how he's doing with his job at the Boutique. Upon arriving, he noticed that Spark Wave was gathering the different colored cloths and jewels and giving them to Rarity who keeps twirling around the Boutique as if she were at a ball.
"Um...Spark Wave, what's up with Rarity?" Eternal asks him. Spark Wave puts the stuff down and signals him over so he can whisper to him. Eternal does so and listens.
"Rarity's been like for about a week, she won't sit still because she's crushing on your friend from law school, Tidal Wave." Spark Wave whispers to him
"Wait, she's on love with Tidal Wave?" whispers Eternal
"Yes." whispers Spark
"Wow, I'll bet Spike is taking it pretty hard." Eternal whispers
"Yes, but this is something Tidal Wave and Spike have to talk about. We shouldn't interfere when that happens. Otherwise even if we try to explain it, our words will sound biased and heartbraking to both Spike and Rarity." Spark Wave whispers
"Alright then. Your secret's safe with me." Eternal whispers.
"Oh, Spark Wave, darling. Did you get the cloths and jewels I asked you for earlier?" Rarity asks still twirling around.
"Yes, Ms. Rarity, I have them right here with me." Spark Wave replies as he grabs the stuff and carries them on his back and tries to give them to Rarity.
Eternal walks out of the Boutique surprised that Rarity didn't even notice him walk in earlier. He shrugged it off and decided to head home remembering that his mother was coming into town to hear about one of his stories when he was growing up at Rogue Mountain. He didn't want to waste time so he bolted back to his house. It took him 5 minutes to reach it home and find that his mother had also just arrived at the same time.
"Well, look who's here. Shall we go inside so I can hear about your stories about your adventures back home? I've been dying to know." says Princess Celestia.
"Sure." Eternal says with a smile opening the door to his home and moving aside. "Ladies first."
"Why thank you." Celestia replies walking in with her son walking behind her closing the door. Soon they both sit on the couch right next to each other.
"So where do you want me to start?" Eternal asks her
"Hmm, well, why don't you start by telling me what went on when you were still in elementary school?" Celestia asks, getting a quick nod from Eternal Flames.

"Twilight, why in the hell did you tell her that?" Eternal asks all frustrated.
"Why not, I mean, Sunset and the others know I'm a princess, so there's no harm in letting the others know about you." Twilight says with a smile on her face.
"Twilight, when and why did you tell them that as well? I don't tell the others of my title because it's practically the same as bragging to the entire world." Eternal says.
"Well it wasn't exactly me who told them." Twilight says nervously
"Then who did?" Eternal asks.
"I did!" A voice shouts from behind Eternal, making him jump.
"SWEET BEANS IN A BASKET!!! What the hell? Don't sneak up on me like that." Eternal says with his hand over his chest.
He turns around and sees a girl with light pink skin and pink poofy hair.
"Pinkie? Is that you?" Eternal asks
"Yup-a-roonie, that's my name! Pinkie Pie, party thrower EXTRAORDINAIR!!!" She says taking out her party cannon and shooting her graffiti into the air. This made Eternal get blown back and fall flat on his rear.
'And an effective ear blower, that's for sure.' he thought as he got back up.
"But how do you know my name? Are you psychic?! Are you?.....ARE YOU?!" she asks grabbing his tan coat and shaking him back and forth rapidly making him dizzy.
"Will ya calm down, sugarcube? Yer gonna damage that there brain o' his if ya keep shakin' 'im like that." said another voice.
Eternal immediately recognized that southern country voice. "Oh hi there Applejack." He says turning to the girl with a cowgirl hat with blonde hair and white shirt.
"Whoa partner, how'd you know ma name was Applejack? I didn't introduce maself." Applejack asks raising an eyebrow.
"Well, actually girls, he and I came from Equestria, he, his brother and his friends moved into Ponyville a few months ago. The reason why he knows you all by name is because he met the pony versions of you all. Except you, Sunset." Twilight explains as she turns to Sunset.
"Unfortunately, my journey to Ponyville didn't start out so well." Eternal says looking down with his eyes closed.
"Why not?" They all ask in unison.
Eternal then explains what happened during his journey to Ponyville in very specific and yet very disturbing detail. While he was telling his story, the others had their mouths hanging open. Finally, after he finishes his story, he gets an unexpected hug from Sunset.
"I'm sorry you went through the pain and suffering during that week. I wish I could've been there to stop it." Sunset says with tears running down her eyes.
"There's no need to dwell in the past. What happened back then is just a memory now. I've moved on and I'll keep moving forward for as long as there's breath in my lungs." Eternal says as he's hugging Sunset back.
"Hey, since we have a new friend, and the fact that he's good friends with Twilight, LET'S THROW HIM A WELCOMING PARTY!!!" Pinkie shouts firing her party cannons again.
'YEOWCH!!! I'm never gonna get use her blasting that damn thing in my face. But it is Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie.' Eternal thought.
"Sure, but I doubt that we can throw one at Canterlot High. He's not even a student here." Sunset say
"Well, neither am I." Twilight says
"That's different." replies Sunset
"Hey I know, we can celebrate it my place! My parents are going on a boat cruise for their honeymoon anyway!" Pinkie Pie says.
"Well I guess we can do that. You ok with this Eternal?" Sunset asks
"Sure, I don't see any problems with it." Eternal says shrugging

While the girls were getting stuff ready for Eternal's welcoming party, Sunset takes Eternal over to Sugar Cube Corner for a little chat. Sunset was a bit interested in learning more about Eternal. They ordered their drinks, which were a strawberry milkshake for Sunset and cup of coffee for Eternal, which to him tasted exactly like the espressos he drinks back in Equesrtria. They take their seat at a table near the front door of the place.
"So Eternal, tell me. Why did you move out of your kingdom?"
"I wanted to start a new life over in Ponyville while at the same pursue 2 of my life long goals.
"What were they, exactly?"
"One: To find my mom, which I already have, and Two: To become the strongest guardian of Equestria."
"That sounds like it'll be a tough challenge. But I know if you put your heart into it, you'll get there."
"Thanks, Sunset, it means a lot coming from you."
"You're welcome."
"So what was it like growing up here?"
"Well, I wasn't exactly born here, Eternal. I'm actually from Equestria myself."
"Wait, you are?"
"Yeah, but it probably sounds like I'm making it up, so why don't I just prove it to you?"
"How?"
Without even saying anything, she leans over to him, places her hand on his shoulder and her eyes start glowing white. She sees one of Eternal's recent memories of when he was still at war with the dragons. She then lets go of him and sits back down.
"I guess even the war against the dragons left mental scars on you, didn't they?" Sunset asks
"W-wait...how di-" Eternal pauses for a moment and just sighs. "Alright, Sunset, I believe you. But why did you leave Equestria."
"I...I was blinded by my own anger. Because back when I was still Princess Celestia's apprentice, I wanted to become a princess as well, but I never had the chance." She says with her head hanging down. "When I came here, I wanted to rule the school, but it wasn't enough for me. I just..." Sunset was then stopped by Eternal who placed his hand over her mouth.
"I think I know. You wanted rule the school with strong magical energy right?" Eternal asks.
"H-how'd you know?"
"Because...back then when I was still a growing stallion, I had fought this guy who had the exact same ambitions. He wanted to rule the Rogue Kingdom because he was born with 2 different powers. In which case has never happened before in our entire legacy. But I managed to defeat him while my father sent him off to Tartarus."
"That's terrible! But...it wasn't as terrible as when I wanted to rule Equestria. But Twilight and her friends helped show me the error of my ways after the Fall Formal."
"That's good to hear." Eternal says with a warm smile. "If anything, I'd say you made quite a life here after they supported you throughout these past few years."
Without even saying a word, Sunset pulled in Eternal for a big hug. This made Eternal blush like crazy. No girl ever hugged him before in his entire life, besides his own mother. Eternal then wrapped his arms around Sunset gently hugging her. For the first time in his entire life, Eternal felt like...he was in love. The moment was cut short when Sunset's phone rang. She let go of Eternal and answered it.
"Hello?"
"... ..."
"Hmm, okay then."
"... ..."
"Alright, bye." she says hanging up.
"What's going on?" Eternal asks.
"Something bad happened at Pinkie's house, we gotta go." Sunset says in a rush.
"What?! Crap, I'm right behind you." Eternal says jumping out of the chair.

Eternal and Sunset had ran towards Pinkie's Pie's house. Sunset was leading the way since Eternal wasn't familiar with the neighborhood in the slightest. Eventually after passing a couple of blocks, they reached their destination.
"Alright, Eternal. You stay here, I'll go check it out. Don't worry, I'm skilled with combat as well so if I need you I'll yell for you."
"Alright I trust you." he says with a serious look on his face.
Sunset then enter the house and closes the door behind her with Eternal still outside. Eternal doesn't know what's gonna happen, but he kept his back hunched ready to dart in. Out of nowhere...
"ETERNAL, GET IN HURRY!!!" Sunset shouted in fear
Without hesitation he bolted at the door opening it with brute force. All too quickly, the light came on and miniature party poppers started blasting streamers at his face.
"SURPRISE!!!" Everybody shouted.
Eternal jumped back panting.
"DAMN, WHAT THE HELL?!" Eternal shouted
Pinkie started bursting out laughing and placed her hand on his shoulder.
"Oh you should've seen the look on your face!"
"Alright, alright, laugh all you want. Where's Sunset? I thought she said something bad happened." said Eternal
"Something bad DID happen. You weren't here to enjoy the party with us, silly." Pinkie says with a giggle.
Eternal then facepalmed himself. He wanted to blast at Pinkie Pie with his own booming voice (which he got from his Aunt Luna at birth) but at the same time, he tells himself he's just being too serious and he needs to lighten up. Eternal decides to let it go and get on with the welcoming party. Once they had their fill of all the snacks, Pinkie Pie then had an idea.
"Hey I know, how about we play a game. This one is my personal favorite." Pinkie Pie says with a bright smile.
"And what game would that be?" Eternal asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Truth or Dare." Pinkie Pie says
"Hmm...I never heard of that game before...but I guess I can give it a shot." says Eternal, causing the other girls to gasp and then giggle since they have the one guy that doesn't know the joy and horror of Truth or Dare.
