Chapters The Vows That Seal the Deals
Princess Twilight x Heat Wave
Life in Equestria has become more peaceful even since Thunder Drum was banished back to Tartarus. During the last 3 months, the young princes, Eternal Flames had turn 19 and his younger brother Heat Wave had finally turn 17. During Heat Wave's 17th birthday, Eternal Flames had taken him to Sugar Cube Corner where Pinkie Pie threw him a surprise party. Everypony in Ponyville gathered around for his special day of almost turning into an adult. Even the Princesses of night and day, along with the boys' father joined them as they knew that they wouldn't miss the day that their own children were finally full grown stallions, ready for new challenges that lie ahead in their lives. Heat Wave had enjoyed a few cupcakes with his lovely and cutesy marefriend, Twilight during the party. Eternal couldn't help but feel proud knowing that his younger brother wasn't so little anymore and even had a special pony. Eternal felt lucky himself knowing that he has Sunset Shimmer, who also is carrying their unborn child. During that time, Eternal Flames was engaged to be married to Sunset Shimmer and was going to get married next month.
"You know, boys. It seemed like only yesterday you two were rough housing with each other around the Rogue Kingdom, and now look at you two, you've become heros." Royal Blaze says, smiling at his 2 sons.
"No, dad. I didn't do much. It was Eternal that saved us all." Heat Wave says, gesturing his older brother.
"Nonsense, Heat Wave. You and the others are heros as well." Eternal says.
"What are you talking about? We didn't do anything." Sunset replied.
"Yes you did. You all saved my life after I used up all my strength in the battle. If you hadn't shown up, I'd probably be dead and I wouldn't be able to come home to my loving friends and family." Eternal explains as he walks towards Sunset. He then places a firm kiss on her lips for a short brief moment. "Including you, babe."
"He has a point there, son. You shouldn't belittle your heroism so much." Celestia says. "You and your friends were able to save your older brother and gave us all another peaceful life to live."
"My heroic stud." Twilight says, leaning in on Heat Wave. giving him a peck on a cheek.
"Aww, shucks." Heat Wave says, smiling sheepishly with a deep blush.
"Heat Wave, is that sun burn, or are you blushing?" Eternal asks with a smirk.
"Oh come on, you're turning on me now?" Heat Wave asks, still embarrassed.
Everypony soon started to laugh knowing how funny it was witnessing their "bro moments." Finally, after a few hours, everypony had left for the night while Twilight decided to talk with Heat Wave outside of Sugar Cube Corner.
"Is there something you wanted to tell me, Twilight?" Heat Wave asks.
"Well, you see, Heat Wave, you've been such an amazing stallion ever since you agreed to be my special somepony that night. I was just wondering if, now that you're old enough...maybe...you could..." Twilight pauses, blushing a bit. Heat Wave started blushing as well.
"If I could what?" Heat Wave asks.
"Would it be okay...if...if you moved in with me?" Twilight asks, still blushing. Heat Wave grew a surprised look on his face while blushing a crimson red after hearing her say that. But luckily, he calmed down a bit and without saying a word, he walked up to Twilight and wrapped her in a warm embrace, hugging her. She hugged him as well.
"I would be honored, Twilight Sparkle." Heat Wave warmly replies.
"You're going to WHAT?" Eternal asked his brother.
"I'm moving out of the house, and in with Twilight. You already moved Sunset Shimmer into our house and besides, you two are engaged to be married so you shouldn't have to worry about babying me anymore, bro." Heat Wave explains, packing up his stuff.
"Yes, I know. But just know that as your older brother, I'll help you with whatever it is you need." Eternal says, patting Heat Wave gently on his back, earning a smile from him.
"Thanks bro. But I think I'll be okay now. After all, one day, I'm going to propose to Twilight and if we ever have kids, we'll work through it like a big happy family." Heat Wave says.
"I wouldn't count your blessings just yet, bro. Right now, since Sunset is pregnant, she's currently going through a few mood swings which can be a bit difficult to handle." Eternal explains. "I know you love Twilight, but try to take it slow. I had to take my next step as not only a prince, but as a father at an early age because of the whole "tyrant" situation." Heat Wave gulped at what his brother said.
"I...I never thought of it like that." Heat Wave says, nervously.
"Well, it's still your decision to make. I don't want to make you feel like you're making the wrong decision. I'm just trying to tell you that every decision you make will have an obstacle, especially starting a family." Eternal explains. "You're a good stallion, but I know that if you DO start a family, I have faith that you'll make a wonderful dad. I mean, Blue Blaze's wife is already 3 months pregnant and he's practically going through the same phase as I am right now."
"Alright. Well, thanks for telling me this, bro. At least now I know a little bit more about the complications of being an adult now." Heat Wave said with a warm smile. He then finished packing up all of his belongings in his suitcases and took them with him downstairs. Unfortunately, he lost his balance on the third step from the top of the stairs and tumbled down. Eternal heard the noise and ran downstairs to find his brother buried underneath his suitcases all dizzy-eyed. Eternal shook his head and helped him up.
"You do realize that carrying these heavy suitcases down a flight of stairs can be hazardous to you when it comes to trying to keep your balance in check, don't you bro?" Eternal asks.
"Oh, HA-HA, very funny, bro." Heat Wave says unamused.
In order to prevent his brother from developing any head trauma, he helped carry his suitcases over to Twilight's house. Along the way, Heat Wave kept going on and on about how he and Twilight would always have their study time together after a hard days work in her castle, organizing books, cleaning the castle, and just plain old hanging out. Eternal just kept walking giving his brother simple answers like "that's nice" or "well good for you." Eternal knows Heat Wave is happy to be dating, finally, but he had other matters that he knows are important to him, like caring for his pregnant fiance.
They finally reached Twilight's castle with Heat Wave still talking about his dates with Twilight and Eternal started to get a bit aggitated and finally turned to his brother in a swift motion.
"OKAY!" Eternal shouted. He then took a deep breath and let it all out. "Look, it's nice that you're having a good time right now, but I'd appreciate it if you try to talk about something different. I don't know what, just something." Eternal says in a calmer tone.
"Sorry, Eternal." Heat Wave says, looking down.
"No I should be sorry for snapping at you like that." Eternal replies.
Heat Wave then lowered his suitcases and knocked on the door a few times. Seconds later, his cute little lavander marefriend appeared behind the door with a bright smile on her face.
"Hi Heat Wave, hi Eternal." Twilight says.
"Hiya, Twilight." Eternal replies.
"Hi, cutie-pie." Heat Wave says with a wink, making her blush.
"Well, since you two are having a moment, I'll just be on my way back home. I wish you both the best of luck in your new lives." Eternal says with a warm smile, before turning away and walking home. While he was walking home, Twilight and Heat Wave walked inside her castle bringing Heat's suitcases inside with them. It took a little bit of time for them to help unpack Heat Wave's things, but luckily there wasn't too much of a fuss going on as they finally finished. Heat Wave figured that he and Twilight deserved a well deserved bite to eat. He brought her to the kitchen and sat her down as he began to grab a few ingrediants from the pantry and the fridge. Twilight was reading a few books while her coltfriend was cooking up some dinner.
20 minutes later, Heat called out to Twilight telling her that dinner was ready. She used her magic to levitate her book off of the table and onto the bookshelf behind her. Heat Wave placed the food on the table and in turn got a surprised reaction from his lavander marefriend that made him smile. Twilight saw that he had made tasty homemade hayburgers and a large bowl of salad. Heat Wave had told Twilight that he managed to learn a bit from Hurricane Blitz before the whole "tyrant" ordeal.
Instead of stuffing her cute little face like she normally does, Twilight just takes simple and slow bites into her food. Heat Wave sat next to Twilight and enjoyed his food as well. They finished their meal after 15 minutes only to stare into each other's eyes. There was nothing but silence as the two love struck ponies kept gazing at each other. That is, until Heat Wave finally spoke.
"Twilight?" Heat Wave asked
"Yes, Heat?" Twilight asked.
"Ever since we became a couple, I've felt like the happiest stallion in the world. You gave me a reason to stand up for myself and for others, even when times were grim for me."
"I could say the same to you, my handsome prince. As I said before, had I not met you, I'd be living thousands of years never knowing what true love was like. You might not be a fighter, but you've got a kind-hearted soul, and you're so gentle. What more could a mare like me ask for from you, Heat Wave?"
"I...I only just have one question I've been meaning to ask you." Heat Wave then got out of his seat. "Wait right there, I'll be back." Heat Wave then bolted over to his room to grab something out of one of his dresser. He then went back to the kitchen where Twilight was still sitting at, patiently waiting for him. Twilight noticed Heat Wave had something hidden underneath his hooves, but she couldn't make it out. Heat Wave approached Twilight and revealed what was hidden underneath his hooves. It was a small jewelry box.
"Heat Wave...a-are you asking me what I think you're asking me?" Twilight asked, getting all choked up.
"Yes." Heat Wave replied. He then opened the little box revealing a golden ring that had Twilight's cutie mark at the top of it. "Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship...will you marry me?"
Without saying a word, she lunged at him and tackled him to the ground on his back, hugging him.
"YES, OF COURSE I'LL MARRY YOU!!!" Twilight shouted with joy. She began to cry tears of joy while Heat Wave held her close to him in a warm and loving embrace. Once she calmed down, she got off of Heat Wave and he stood up. He proceeded to put the ring on Twilight's horn and soon they locked themselves in the long and passionate kiss. After about a minute, the two broke free to get some air.
"When would you like for the big day to happen?" Heat Wave asked.
"Well, how about 5 months from now? Or is it too long?" Twilight asked.
"I think 5 months should do perfectly, my beautiful princess." Heat Wave replied.
After finally proposing to his beloved future wife, Twilight, she and Heat Wave made their way upstairs for some well deserved rest. But instead of Heat Wave sleeping in a seperate bed, Twilight insisted on letting him sleep with her on her bed. Heat Wave didn't object and finally dove under the covers with her. They both smiled at each other before slowly closing their eyes and drifting into the dreamland.
The Vows That Seal the Deals
Applejack x Ground Dasher
With Ground Dasher officially a new resident of Sweet Apple Acres, life around the farm made things go a whole lot more smoother, and made him a whole lot more happier. He felt like Sweet Apple Acres was like how he lived his life with his dad out in the ranch, and of course, it was a lot more relaxing since he got to work with his special somepony, who was bucking apple trees. With her beautiful blonde mane, sparkling emerald eyes, and that light orange fur which makes her look like a pony goddess in his eyes.
One day, while Ground Dasher was out in the farm, feeding the pigs, he noticed Applejack avoiding eye contact with him, almost like she was too embarrassed about something. He didn't know what was up, so he was going to ask her what was up later on after he got done with his chores around the farm.
Ground Dasher had started bucking apple trees on the south side of the farm, but he didn't put his usual full strength into it, since last time he bucked some apples out of the tree that just weren't ready for harvesting. He kept doing this while he saw his good ol' friend, Big Macintosh approaching him on his right side. From the look on the red stallion's face, Ground Dasher figured he might have something to say to him, even though he wasn't much of a talker. But he was pretty wise, despite that.
"You need something, bud?" Ground Dasher asked.
"Eeyup." Big Mac replied.
"Is there something wrong?"
"Nnope."
"Well, either way, I'm listening. What did you need to tell me?"
Big Macintosh paused for a moment and then approached Ground Dasher a bit closer.
"Ever since ya moved in with us, ya made our lives a whole lot more happier. Anytime we needed ya to wake up a bit early for whatever reason, ya showed respect and devotion. If Granny Smith was ever in pain, or was sick beyond our control, you were there. I've also noticed how much happier AJ's been feelin' when she's around you. She really loves you." Big Mac explains.
"It means a lot coming from you, big guy. So, is there another reason why you wanted to talk to me?"
"Eeyup. I'm sayin' if you ever plan to marry ma lil' sister, I think I speak for mah entire family that you'd make a great husband. You've always got a good head on yer shoulders."
"Thanks, Big Mac."
"Eeyup." Big Mac then headed back to get to work on plowing the fields so that he could plant the vegetables. Meanwhile, Ground Dasher continued to buck apple trees at a faster pace in order finish the job before the day was done.
It was nearly sundown and Ground Dasher had finally gotten his chores done, along with the others. He and the others headed inside the house to get themselves cleaned up for dinner. Applejack got cleaned up in the bathroom first, then Apple Bloom, then Big Mac, then lastly, it was Ground Dasher who freshened up. Everypony went downstairs towards the dining room table to see some sizzling hay bacon, along with some apple fritters and a large bowl of salad, big enough to feed the entire family.
"Thank you Granny Smith." They all say in unison.
"Oh, yer welcome, dearies. Now go on an' help yerselves." Granny Smith replied.
They all started enjoying their meals, of course, Ground Dasher made sure to control his eating habits, since he was now living in somepony else's home and he didn't want to be selfish by guzzling down all the food. So he ate at a regular pace. Ground Dasher looked over at Applejack, who was sitting straight across from him. She immediately blushed and looked down at her plate, still eating. Big Mac and the others were able to pick up on what AJ was hiding, except for Ground Dasher, which made Apple Bloom snicker.
"What's so funny." Ground Dasher asks.
"Oh, nuthin'." Apple Bloom replied, looking away from Ground Dasher and up on the ceiling with a cute smile.
Dinner was finally finished and of course, Ground Dasher decided to wash all the dishes so that Granny Smith could take a break since she recently had to visit the hospital last week.
"Ya know deary, I think Ah finally understand why Applejack likes ya." Granny Smith says, before slowly ascending the stairs to her room, disappearing out of Ground Dasher's sight.
Ground Dasher finally finished washing all the dishes and walked upstairs towards the guest room where he usually slept. He opens the door only to have his eyes fling wide open when he sees a familiar mare with light orange fur, and blonde mane, only she wasn't wearing her signature cowgirl hat. Her eyes looked towards Ground Dasher while she was still blushing.
"AJ, what brings you in here?" Ground Dasher asks.
"Well...I wanted to talk to ya fer a bit. Are you alright with that, or should it wait 'til mornin'?" Applejack asked.
"Well, I could spare a few minutes of chatting, what did ya need?"
"Do ya know why everypony at the dinner table was gettin' all giggle-fitted?"
"No, why?"
"They were tryin' not to mention how Ah started thinkin' about...g-gettin'...." Applejack pauses, blushing rose red.
"Getting what?"
"Gettin' hitched...with you." Applejack replies. After hearing this, Ground Dasher soon grew a warm smile and walked over to Applejack, who was still on his bed. He leaned in and hugged her.
"If that's what you were thinking...then why didn't you say so in the first place?" Ground asks in a soft and calm tone.
"'cause Ah wasn't sure if ya had those type of feelings fer me." AJ says, looking down on the bed covers. She then felt Ground's hoof under her chin as he lifted her head up to see his smile still.
"Now why would I not have those feelings for you? You should understand that I love you, and that will never change." Ground Dasher then reaches under his bed and pulled out a jewelry box, kneeled in front of AJ and opened it in front of her, revealing a gold hoof band that had her cutie mark on it. "Besides, I've been wanting to ask you to be my bride for quite some time."
"COME HERE YOU!!!" AJ shouted, pulling Ground Dasher in for a long and passionate kiss and having a little tongue wrestle. 'To think that he only thought of me as just a marefriend, now Ah'm finally gonna have a husband! Ah feel so happy!' She said in her thoughts.
'I'm never gonna get tired of her doing this. I'm glad I saved up enough bits for that thing, thos suckers are expensive.' Ground Dasher thought to himself while he was still locked in a game of tongue wrestle with AJ.
Soon they broke apart, gasping for air. Ground Dasher then proceeded to put the band onto her right hoof and gazed into her eyes with a lot of love and compassion.
"Ah love you, Ground Dasher, now and ferever." Applejack says, hugging Ground Dasher
"I love you, too, AJ and I always will. Now and forever." Ground replies, holding her tight.
The Vows That Seal the Deals
Fluttershy x Hurricane Blitz
Life around the cottage was going pretty well. The animals who were in need of some care had been treated even more better ever since Hurricane Blitz, a stallion with mint green fur and silver mane, moved in with his sweetheart, Fluttershy. To him, she was like an angel with her soothing singing voice, sparkling teal eyes, beautiful, shiny yellow fur coat, silky long pink mane and tail. To top it all off, she had the most adorable and most prettiest smile that made Hurricane feel like he was going to die from her cuteness. The work around the cottage was going pretty well with the both of them tending to a few squirrels who had a few broken limbs and a few birds who had broken wings. The job wasn't too complicated with Hurricane playing his soothing tune on his leaf whistle and Fluttershy's beautiful humming as they were treating the injured animals with love and care. It took nearly a few minutes before they had finally healed the little critters'.
"Oh, don't you just feel happy knowing that these poor things are going to make a full recovery?" Fluttershy asked.
"Of course, but it brakes my heart knowing that the outside world can so cruel to cause these injuries towards them." Hurricane says, looking down on the ground.
"I know, Hurricane. It brakes my heart too. But at least we're still here to help them."
"Yeah, you're right Fluttershy."
"You know, Hurricane at first, when I first met you...I didn't know what to feel since I wasn't sure what kind of stallion you were. But now that I know that you're a kind and loving stallion who's good with animals, I feel more comfortable around you."
"I kind of felt the same way towards you, too, Fluttershy. When I first met you, I didn't know what to think since you were so timid, yet adorable at the same time. But when I saw that you were like an angel towards all living creatures, I realized that my feelings for you have grown a whole lot more for you. Finding somepony as kind and cute as you is certainly a rarity." Fluttershy then giggled at what Hurricane in his last sentence. "W-what's so funny?" he asked
"The fact that you said that I was a "rarity" as you put it." Fluttershy replied. It didn't take long for him to realize what he just said and laughed along with Fluttershy.
After treating the squirrels and birds, it was time for them to feed the chickens and Angel Bunny. Hurricane Blitz felt like it wasn't a good idea for Fluttershy to overfeed her chickens, but she was always worried that her chickens might get hungry later on during the night time when they want a midnight snack. Hurricane was aware that her intentions were in the right place, but at the same time, he worried about the chickens having their stomachs burst. Hurricane went back into the cottage to prepare Angel Bunny's food. At first, Angel was a bit stubborn with having Hurricane feed him, but later on, he started to warm up to Hurricane since he blended a few ingrediants into Angel's food making it more nutricious and more tasty for the fluffy little guy. Seeing the smile on Angel's face while he was chewing away at his food always made Hurricane feel so happy.
Fluttershy walked in catching Hurricane petting Angel gently on the head. It made her feel happy seeing as how Angel wasn't acting so cranky towards her coltfriend, but at the same time she felt a bit down since Angel Bunny was always having a difficult time adjusting to Fluttershy even though she takes good care of him. She didn't realize it until the last minute that she felt a tear drop from her face while at the same time Hurricane saw her crying.
"Fluttershy, what's the matter?" Hurricane asked.
"Huh, oh um...it...it's nothing really." Fluttershy replies, wiping away her tears.
"Fluttershy, is there something wrong? You can tell me." Hurricane said. He wasn't convinced at all that Fluttershy was alright because he could see and feel the sadness in her eyes. He walked over and stood next to her. "Come on Fluttershy, if there's something bothering you, you should tell me. I'll do what I can to help you in anyway I can." he says reassuringly.
"W-w-well...I...I..." Fluttershy says, trying to find the words. But soon her tears returned and she sat down with her hooves covering her face as she started to cry.
"Fluttershy, are you okay?" Hurricane asked, kneeling down towards her, putting his hoof over her shoulder.
"It's just that I feel so useless when it comes to the techniques you use to care for animals.
"Fluttershy, how can you say something like that? You're an excellent caregiver to animals."
"Except I can't do the things that you can do like play the whistle your grandmother taught you, or even create delicious meals for your friends and the animals from your hometown AND here in Ponyville." Fluttershy said, still crying. But then Hurricane held her hooves with his own and looked at her straight in the eyes.
"Fluttershy, if this is what you're upset about, I can always help you out." Hurricane replies.
"No, I don't want to be a burden towards you."
"Fluttershy, you're not a burden and you never will be. You're an amazing pegasus who's got a lot of talents. You sing like an angel, you can cook amazing meals, as well as make tea and to top it off, you keep things clean. What makes you think a beautiful and talented mare like you could ever think you'd be a burden to me?" Hurricane asks.
Fluttershy was stunned at what Hurricane told her. She looked deep into his eyes to see that he actually meant every word he said and it made her feel a bit better about herself. Hurricane Blitz then wiped away the tears in her eyes.
"Now come on, Fluttershy, if you want, I can teach you how to make certain foods taste better for the animals. I noticed that you were a bit upset when you saw me feeding Angel."
"Really? Okay then."
Soon, Hurricane started showing her the secrets to making certain foods taste good and add more nutriction. At first, he gave her specific instructions and details on certain spices and herbs and their effects they had on the food they can be blended with. At first, Fluttershy was confused, but she quickly got the gist of it in 2 minutes. Hurricane's careful coaching further improved Fluttershy's cooking skills which made him feel all the more happy about her.
A few hours later, the two had made dinner and ate outside while at the same time watching the sunset. The dinner lasted for a good 15 minutes with them conversing about their past lives before they met. Both Hurricane and Fluttershy were surprised at how each of their lives had obstacles they had to overcome. Fluttershy with having to deal with bullies over in Cloudsdale but had Rainbow Dash to stick up for her and Hurricane Blitz dealing with his fair share of bullies but had Shadow Force and Eternal Flames sticking up for him. They even told about the hardships on how when they started caring for animals, they had their fair share of watching a few animals reach their hours of death which really ached their hearts. The more they talked about the stuff that went on in their lives, they clicked more.
After their chat and having their bellys filled, they headed back inside her cottage and into the kitchen to wash the dishes. But Hurricane had volunteered to wash them all and let Fluttershy get some well deserved rest. Hurricane was able to finish up the dishes quickly and neatly without any troubles at all. Soon he headed upstairs and under the covers with Fluttershy.
The next day, Hurricane had decided to wake up a bit earlier than he usually does since he made an appointment at the jewelry store and had to make a stop over there in order to get a special present for his special somepony. He finally managed to save up enough bits for this special occasion after a few weeks. The walk over there took a good 15 minutes until finally the jewelry store came into his line of sight. He walked in and approached the cashier.
"Ah, Hurricane, welcome back. I trust you're here for your order? I just managed to finally finish it." said the cashier.
"Really? Wow, that was fast." Hurricane said in surprise.
The cashier then grabbed a box that was sitting on a stool and put it over the counter. He opened it and revealed a beautiful golden necklace with 3 butterflies on it that matched Fluttershy's cutie mark. Hurricane couldn't help but admire the craftsmenship. He then took out a bag of bits and gave it to the cashier. After he paid the cashier, he left the jewelry store and headed over to Fluttershy's cottage while carrying the box on his back. Hurricane was excited about having to give his present to his cute marefriend.
--
Fluttershy was tossing and turning and finally woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside her window. She let out a cute yawn and saw that Hurricane wasn't in bed. She was worried at first, but she realized that even stallions like him have things to do. She didn't want to impose on what he was doing. But that was her last thought until she heard the front door open up. She headed downstairs to see that Hurricane had arrived and had a strange box on his back.
"Hurricane, what's that box for?" Fluttershy asked.
"Oh, good morning, Fluttershy. Can I talk to you out in the back?" Hurricane asked. Fluttershy was confused on what Hurricane wanted to talk to her about, but she nodded and walked out back with him.
"So what is it that you wanted to tell me?" Fluttershy asked.
"You see, Fluttershy..." Hurricane paused and blushed a bit, making her blush as well. "For the past few months...I...I feel like we've been growing more and more attached to each other...and...and I think that now is the time I came out and show this to you and take this next big step in our lives." Hurricane explained.
"W-w-wait...a-are you a...asking me what I think you're asking me?" Fluttershy asked, blushing more intensely.
Hurricane Blitz then took the box off of his back, kneeled down, and revealed the golden necklace to his marefriend and was replied with a surprised, yet joyed gasped from her.
"Fluttershy, the Element of Kindness, will you marry me?" Hurricane asked.
Fluttershy got choked up and then responded. "YES OF COURSE I'LL MARRY YOU!" She then lunged at Hurricane who in turn twirled her around in the air, hugging her. After that, Hurricane gently put her down and both ponies locked lips with each other.
It went on for several minutes until they both broke away. Hurricane then proceeded to put the necklace around her.
"Hurricane, do you think we can get married in about half a year? Oh, but we can try sooner, if you want."
"6 months sounds perfect. It'll give us plenty of time to get things ready."
With that said, the two smiled at each other and finally shared one last passionate kiss.
The Vows That Seal the Deals
Lyra and Bon Bon x Shadow Force
Shadow Force had been locked in his room, reading a few books to keep himself ready for anymore appointments he had with any kind of family that had some complications in their daily lifestyles. Lately he's had to do most of the work since his cousin, Eternal Flames had been busy with tending to his fiance, Sunset Shimmer. From what he had heard from across his room, her mood swings had ranging from mad to sad at a rapid pace. Shadow offered to help out, but Eternal insisted on tending to her on his own so as to show that he didn't need to be carried around all the time. He was well aware of his actions when he wanted to bless her with a child.
During Shadow's time off of work, he had either exercised working on his body muscles as well as increasing his stamina with some laps around the town. Other times, he'd just play a little game of solitare by himself at home since some of the guys had proposed to their marefriends who were now their soon-to-be wives. There was also one thing he did during his freetime that he had to do for his beloved duo, Lyra and Bon Bon.
It seemed like an ordinary day with Shadow Force in one of his family therapy sessions in his own room. However, this session was with Filthy Rich, Spoiled Rich and their daughter, Diamond Tiara. The things they explained to Shadow Force sparked interest to him.
"Listen, darling, you mustn't be so harsh on our dear Diamond Tiara!" Filthy Rich said to his wife all frustrated.
"Don't give me that nonsense, you tend to spoil her rotten thinking money can buy her happiness!" Spoiled Rich retorted.
"And who do you think she gets her spoiled attitude from?" Filthy retorted.
"I will NOT be made the enemy here! All you do is spend your money on our daughter and not even ONCE spend quality time with her! Dr. Force, do you understand what I have to deal with?" Spoiled Rich asked Shadow.
"Yes, every word." Shadow replies calmly. "So far, from what I'm hearing, you two have been struggling to find a solution to how you're suppose to raise your daughter. But tell me this, you two. What are your methods of parenting that you feel are right?"
"I'm trying to convince our daughter to not "befriend" some of the common fillies and colts who have no higher standing then ponies who are of our standards." Spoiled replies with her eyes closed and her head held high.
"I on the other hoof, want to make sure my little Diamond is happy, so whatever she wants...she gets." Filthy Rich implies.
"Hmm...I see. Well I just have to say this: Mrs. Rich, I understand you're trying to turn your daughter, Diamond, into a young mare of high class and high standings. However, your daughter won't have a very good social standing to other ponies. You have to take into consideration of letting your little daughter try to socialize with other ponies her age, otherwise she'll end up with no pony to turn to." Shadow explains, earning a nod from Spoiled Rich.
"See, I told you, dear." Filthy Rich gloated.
"Hang on Mr. Rich, there's something I'd like to tell you as well. While it is good that you care deeply about your daughter's happiness, and the fact that you'd do anything to keep her happy. But you shouldn't spoil her rotten so much, otherwise when she grows up, she'll end up having to rely on your funds in order to survive in the outside world. I may not be a parent, but there comes a time in the life of all fathers when they have to start reassuring that their daughters and/or sons have to work and fend for themselves. I know she's still little, but you have to take in account that life isn't always happiness and sunshines...or money." Shadow explains.
"What exactly are you getting at?" Spoiled Rich asked.
"What I'm trying to say is that for you, Mrs. Rich, you shouldn't expect so much from your daughter who's probably given you more than you could ever ask for since the day she was born. As for you, Mr. Rich, you should consider spending more time with your daughter by not just spending your bits on whatever she likes whenever she wants. Try spending time with her by either joining her at her tea parties, or even playing some friendly games with her like hide-and-seek or tag."
"Wait, are you saying my parents are bad ponies?" Diamond Tiara asked.
"No, of course not, they just have to approach this parenting in a way that could benefit this entire family. But most importantly, benefit you, since I'm sure you've had a few struggles here and there with your mom and dad, maybe even at school." Shadow explains to the little pink filly with a warm smile. "Well, this is all the time we have for now, but if you wish to make another appointment, I'll be more than happy to do so at anytime." he says to the parents.
"Very well then, how does 2 weeks from now sound?" Filthy Rich asked.
"That should be long enough. Just try to take the lessons into account. It might help you and your daughter out." After Shadow said that, the family then walked out of the room.
Shadow then decided to head downstairs 15 minutes later, only to see his dynamic mare duo, Lyra and Bon Bon sitting on the dining room table playing a friendly game of poker.
"Hey, look, Bon Bon, it's our stud!" Lyra says, pointing to Shadow as he's walking down the stairs.
"Well, it's about time you got out of there. You must've had quite the session up there with that Rich family. I don't see how you can handle these family therapy sessions." Bon Bon implies.
"I enjoy helping families when their in need. But onto a different subject. I have something I want to show you girls. It wasn't too difficult for me to get, but it wasn't easy either." Shadow says.
Lyra and Bon Bon were confused at first, since they didn't know what Shadow meant by that. They then see Shadow walk over to a bookshelf and take what looks like a big box.
"Girls, could you come over here, please? I got something I want to say to you and show you." Shadow says. Lyra and Bon Bon then walked over to Shadow who then kneeled down and opened the box revealing two platinum hoof bands. One had Lyra's cutie mark engraved on it and the other with Bon Bon's cutie mark engraved on it. The two girls gasped at the sight.
"Lyra, Bon Bon, I feel like I couldn't be more lucky to have you both come into my life as my 2 marefriends. But I feel like I'm ready to take the next step into our lives. So, I only have one question for you girls." Shadow explains. Lyra and Bon Bon soon got teary eyed as they knew what was coming next. "Lyra and Bon Bon, will you marry me?"
"Is that even a question?!" The girls asked in unison and then lunged at Shadow, hugging him tightly.
"I'll take that as a "yes." Shadow replies happily, hugging his girls.
"How about we have our wedding 2 and a half months from now?" Lyra asks.
"Come on, Shadow, what do you say?" Bon Bon asks.
"I don't see why not." Shadow chuckles. His girls then squealed with joy and pressed their lips against his simultaneously.
The Vows That Seal the Deals
Tidal Wave, a stallion with aqua blue fur, brown eyes and a black mane and tail, had been working hard on his career. His skills as a doctor matched that of 10 or even 15 experienced doctors. Though when it came to his work, he'd have a few of the stallions, mostly older than him, hound at him for stealing their work and how they feel like their going to lose their jobs and careers. Tidal Wave was trying to reassure them that he has no intention of trying to rob anypony of their jobs or their professional career. They were skeptic at first when he was only starting out, but during the past 3 months after a certain fight, however, they slowly began to acknowledge that he truly was sincere about what he said.
At home, there wasn't much to do other than just enjoy a decent meal and sleep until it was time to go back to work again, but when he had some spare freetime, he'd usually play the piano, which he bought at a local music store months ago. There was something about playing the piano that made Tidal Wave feel more at ease and it helped calm his nerves after a stressful day. Other times, he'd go out on a date with Nurse Red Heart, treating her to a nice dinner at the Ponyville Cafe. She wasn't too into fancy and expensive restaurants, but the Ponyville Cafe was good enough for her.
During the months the two spent with each other, Nurse Red Heart had started to wonder why out of all the mares in Ponyville, since Ponyville has a population of 80% female, Tidal Wave chose to be in a relationship with her. At first, she was a bit perplexed about his ambitions on becoming a doctor, especially when she had doubts considering how young he looked. But the more she got to know more about Tidal Wave, the more her feelings for him started to make themselves known. As far as she could tell, she really loved him, not just because he had some unique skills with his piano or unique skills in the medical field, but because of his charming personality and how we was always looking on the bright side of life and appreciating it, bringing happiness and joy to the sick and the healthy, sort of like a familiar pink earth pony, but his mind is always about logic.
--
It was a normal Tuesday in Ponyville and Tidal Wave was given one day off by order of the hospital, after removing a tumor from a stallion and saving his life. He was sitting near the corner of the room, playing his piano. Every now and then he'd glance outside the window admiring the beautiful sunny weather. He continued to play some relaxing piano music for a good 5 minutes until he unexpectedly heard a knock on his bedroom door. He got up from his chair and walked towards the door and opened it, revealing his pal, Eternal Flames a stallion with white fur, sapphire eyes, and red mane.
"What brings you here, buddy boy?" Tidal asked.
"There's somepony at the door, they want to talk to you." Eternal replied.
"WHAT'S TAKING YOU SO LONG TO GRAB ME A SIMPLE CUP OF WATER?!" shouted a female voice from Eternal's room.
"Sunset having her mood swings again?" Tidal asked.
"Yeah, but just thought I'd-" Eternal gets cut off by Sunset still shouting.
"DO I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING ON MY OWN?!" Sunset shouted.
"I'm getting it already, just calm the hell down!" Eternal shouted back.
"WATCH THAT TONE OF YOURS!" Sunset replied.
Tidal Wave decided to go downstairs to see who was at the door with Eternal following him close behind, but Eternal made a quick dash to the kitchen while Tidal Wave approached the front door to see Nurse Red Heart.
"What brings you here, today, sweetheart?" Tidal asked.
"Listen, I was wondering if we could take a little walk around town and maybe chat for a little bit." She asked
"Sure, I've got the rest of the day off anyways." Tidal says. He walks out of the house, closes the door behind him, and then heads out to Ponyville with his lover.
"Tidal Wave, did you ever have any other careers you wanted to pursue when you were young? I'm not saying that you should consider pursuing them right now, I'm just asking if you had any while growing up?" Red Heart asked.
"Actually, there was a total of 3 careers I wanted to pursue. It was either being a pianist at a local restaurant, becoming a defense attorney, or becoming a doctor, so you can guess which one I chose out of all of them." Tidal explains.
"So how come out of those 3 careers, you chose to be a doctor?" she asks.
"Well, at first, being a pianist at a local restaurant would be nice, but if I did that, I wouldn't be able to clear my mind when I'm alone since playing the piano is only a hobby of mine." he explains.
"I see."
"As for being a defense attorney, naturally, I got my degree in law school with my pal, Eternal Flames, who wanted to study a bit on Equestrian law in case he was going to become a prosecutor. But as you can see, neither of us became those."
"Wait, you went to law school AND med school?"
"Yes, I did, but that was when I was starting out as a teenager. I'm not trying to sound like I'm bragging or something like that, I just had a strict childhood with my parents. Even my sister was treated the same."
"What's your sister's name?"
"Her name is Rain Drop. She's a year younger than me, but she's quite gifted. She took up the career as a defense attorney, so I decided that it was only fitting that I start a career which involved helping others get a second chance at life. So in the end, since my sister had become a defense attorney, I had decided to become a doctor."
"That's so sweet. You and your sister must've been pretty close." Red Heart smiled warmly.
"Perhaps, but she can be competitive when it came to studying for exams. She always wanted to be the top student in her classes, but naturally, she's had her fair share of wins."
"How many?" chuckled Red Heart.
"A total of 4 out of 10." Tidal chuckled.
"Well at least it's something for her to be proud of." Red Heart chuckled.
"By the way, how come I never met your parents? Are they out on business or are they retired?" Tidal Wave asked
"Oh, well, you see..." Nurse Red Heart paused for a moment and looked down with a sad look. "My parents passed away sometime ago when I was barely making a name for myself as a nurse. They died in a fire. The fire ponies tried to save them, but the flames were bursting out of control for them to even get near their house." She explains.
"Oh dear. I'm dreadfully sorry, Red Heart. I didn't know." Tidal Wave says, holding her close to him.
"It's alright, you didn't mean any harm when you asked me." she says, looking up at Tidal with a smile. "But, you know, I have a feeling that if they were still here, they'd really take a liking to you."
"Same can be said for my parents as well. They're still alive, they just live far away. But, no matter the distance, I just know my parents would welcome you into the family with open hooves." he explains.
Red Heart then hugged Tidal Wave after making her feel better. "I love you, Tidal Wave. If I hadn't met you, I'd probably be working my flank off as a nurse, never knowing what true love is like."
"I love you, too, my sweet." Tidal then hugged her back. "Say, do you think that maybe later on tonight, we can meet over by the fountain over in town square? There's something I want to show you."
"Sure. But, I want to spend a little more time with you right now, is that okay?" she asks. "The work has reallly been stressing me out and I could use a break."
"Sure, we still got some time to kill. So shall we keep walking around town, or are you interested in just getting a quick bite to eat, because lunch time is almost over."
"Sure, I could go for a nice, tasty meal. Can we stop by the Hay Burger?"
"Of course, let's just hope Twilight's not stuffing her face silly like she usually does."
Both ponies began laughing at what he just said.
"She can be quite the little piggy, that's for sure." Red Heart says.
The two ponies then headed over to the Hay Burger, and luckily, Twilight wasn't there, stuffing her cute little face, which was a relief for the them and some of the others who were enjoying their meals. Tidal Wave had paid the cashier and the two took their seat next to the window.
"I'm surprised to see that the princess of friendship isn't here all that much." Red Heart says.
"Well, ever since Heat Wave proposed to her, she's been eating nothing but his delicious home cooked meals. He and his brother both learned how to cook, thanks to a little coaching from Hurricane Blitz." Tidal explained.
"That's so sweet. I never realized the prince's younger brother could be such a sweetheart. If I didn't know any better, I'd say those two were made for each other." she says.
"You couldn't be more right than that." he says, chuckling.
"What about your other friend, Hurricane Blitz? Does he have a special somepony?" she asks.
"Why, yes he does and to top it off, he proposed to her a couple of days ago. Her name is Fluttershy."
"Aww, that sweet little pegasus who cares for animals? He must be so lucky."
"You have no idea. So far, practically almost all of my pals are engaged to be married." he says happily.
"This sure is a big step in their lives." she replies.
"Yes, but I have a feeling that when they're about to have kids, they're gonna give us a hard run for our money. But that probably won't happen for another year or two." Tidal explains
"Ugh, I don't even want to think about it now." Red Heart says, making both of them laugh.
After chatting for a while, they decided to keep eating to avoid their food getting cold. After finishing their food, the two headed back to their houses to wait until they could meet up again at the fountain. During that time, Tidal Wave would try something he's never done before, which was reading his medical books, so he wouldn't have to worry about slacking off at work, while at the same time, he played some relaxing piano music.
Red Heart was at her house just drinking some tea to ease her nerves and stretching to relieve her muscles after walking around town for quite a while. She usually did this after a long day at work as well. After that was done, she'd grab one of her own medical books, flipping through the pages so she could stay on top of her A Game. Reading was also a way of helping her relax and think more about the positives in her life, which had happened ever since Tidal Wave showed up.
After a few hours, Tidal Wave was able to arrive at the fountain first. He was sitting on the edge, admiring the night sky as it glistens and glows with every passing second while he kept a certain box close to him. Red Heart had arrived shortly after Tidal Wave and was about to find out the answer as to why he called her out here at such a late hour.
"So what is it you wanted to talk to me about?" Red Heart asked. Tidal Wave got close to her, smiled, and revealed inside the box a beautiful golden crown befitting a princess.
"Red Heart, you've made me the happiest stallion alive. You not only allowed me to become a doctor, but you allowed me to experience was true love was all about. So now, I only have one question for you that I feel is now the perfect time to ask you." Tidal Wave explains, making Red Heart gasp happily with tears in her eyes. Tidal Wave then got down and kneeled to the mare with a pink bun. "Red Heart, will you do me the honor of becoming my bride?"
"YES, OF COURSE!!!" Red Heart shouted. Tidal Wave then placed the crown upon her head and soon the two lovestruck ponies joined together in a loving and passionate kiss. "Although, can we get married in say, 4 months?" she asks after breaking the kiss.
"Anything for you, my darling." Tidal Wave replies warmly.

The Vows That Seal the Deals
Rainbow Dash x Spark Wave
Spark Wave had been working with Spike and Rarity at Carousel Boutique for quite some time in the past few months, during that time, Spike had been growing more to the part where he was near Rarity's height. But later on as the months rolled by, he discovered that even though business was going smoothly, the rate of pay wasn't good. So in order for things to go a little smoothly, he had to make a decision that would benefit him and his soon-to-be former co-workers.
"Rarity, listen." Spark says.
"What is it, darling?" Rarity asks.
"I'd like you to read this." Spark Wave then showed a piece of paper to Rarity. She got a hold of it using her magic and revealed that it was his letter of resignation.
"Spark Wave, darling! Why do you want to resign?" she asks.
"Because I've noticed that even though your orders have been going well, the pay is getting rather diffcult to make with the three of us here, so to make things better for you and your business. I'm going to resign from the Boutique." Spark explains.
"Wait, you don't have to do that, buddy." Spike implies. "If it helps, I'll resign."
"No, Spike. I don't think it's a good idea for you since you offically became an employee last month. I've been working here for several months now and I have to find a new job. I'll even resort to free lancing if I have to. Besides, it just wouldn't suit you or your special somepony if you left her here just for my sake. You love her a lot and she loves you. There's no need for you to throw away your happiness just so I can stay and work another day here. There are plenty of jobs out there, even though they'll be tough to get into." Spark explains.
"Are you sure about this, darling?" Rarity asks again.
"Yes, Rarity, I'm positive. But I thank you for letting me be of service to you and Spike." Spark says. He was about to leave through the front door until Spike intervened.
"Hey listen, why don't you finish up for today and then you can go? You do need as much bits as you can." It only took two seconds for Spark Wave to turn back to them and gave a final nod.
"Alright, but after I finish up for today, I'll bid you farewell as a Carousel Boutique employee." Spark said.
The work, as usual, was progressing rather well. Spike had been checking off the list of things needed to make some of the suits and dresses that had been ordered, while Spark Wave was gathering the items at a brake neck pace. Rarity, of course, has wasted no time in putting each piece of cloth, jewelry, and some pieces of silk together. The day went on smoothly until finally Spark Wave's final shift had ended and gave Spike and Rarity one last good-bye as their now former Carousel Boutique employee.
"Thank you so much for everything you've done for us, Spark Wave. It saddens me to see one of my employees have to leave when times are grim, but just know that even though we have to part ways business-wise, we'll be there for you like true friends." Rarity explains warmly to Spark Wave, giving him a hug.
"We really enjoyed having you around with us, buddy." Spike implies, patting Spark on his back.
"I'm very grateful to you both as well. I know I wasn't an employee for too long at Carousel Boutique, but at least I got some pretty good experience from all of this." Spark says. "Spike, Rarity...thank you very much for all of your support." With that last word, Spark Wave turns around and walks outside the doors of Carousel Boutique, his now, old job.
When he was walking home, his mind was set on his marefriend, who, in his opinion was as she always put it, "20% cooler" than any other mares out there. He planned ahead and bought a nice gift for her, but he had to wait a while before presenting it to her, since he felt it was unwise to rush things. He felt exhausted from the work though, so he decided to turn in for the night. He headed back to the apartment for some well deserved rest.
When Spark Wave reached the front door, he got slammed into the ground, causing him to lose conciousness. He woke up 10 minutes later to find out he was in his bedroom with his friend, Eternal Flames and Rainbow Dash.
"Eternal, what the hell just happened?" Spark asked, placing his hoof over his forehead.
"I think she should be able to tell you. I'll leave you two alone." Eternal then disappeared behind the door.
"Heheh, sorry there, Sparkster. I kinda accidentally lost control when I was trying out my Filly Flash again. But thanks for braking my fall, even though you probably weren't aware." Rainbow said nervously.
"Yeah, I wasn't aware, but thank Celestia that I was there to brake your fall. I don't care if I brake my own back, as long as you can still use those trusty wings of yours." Spark said, smiling at the rainbow maned, pony.
"See, that's one of the other reasons why I like you. You're pretty loyal in your own way." Rainbow said, slightly elbowing his hoof so he doesn't hurt him too much.
"Tch, if anypony is loyal around here, it's you, Ms. Element of Loyalty." Spark replies with a wink, making her blush.
"You stud, you're gonna pay for that." Rainbow chuckles.
"Not before I tell you something that I think you'll end up getting me back at even more." Spark retorted.
"Like what, stud?" Rainbow asked. Spark Wave didn't say a word and instead got off his bed and opened his top drawer to take out a necklace gold necklace with her cutie mark on it.
"Like this. Rainbow Dash, I want you to know that you're more than just 20% cooler than other mares. To me, ever since we hung out and started dating, you've offically become 100% cooler than any mare in all of Equestria. So I want ask you this one thing that I've been dying to say throughout these past few months." Spark says, kneeling down to his fangirling mare as she was rapidly flapping her wings up and down with so much joy.
"OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH!!!" She exclaimed.
"Rainbow Dash, would you like to marry?" Spark asks.
"I WOULD LOVE TO MARRY YOU!!!" Rainbow then had her necklace placed on her by Spark. "Hey, how'd you know this necklace was going to make me look 20% cooler? It's awesome!" She asks, admiring the necklace around her neck.
"It was just a lucky guess on my part, sweetness." Spark said. "So, how does 3 months from now sound for our big day?" Spark asks.
"First off, I say that's plenty of time and 2nd...COME HERE, SPARKSTER!!!" Rainbow shouted. "You still owe me for making me blush earlier with that little winking trick, you stud!" Before long, she began to pull in Spark Wave and slammed her lips onto his and even thrusted her tongue inside of his mouth, catching him off-guard.
Let's hope she doesn't do this after we've said our vows. But if she does, I'll bare with it. Spark said in his mind.
The Vows That Seal the Deals
It had been a week since Spark Wave left the Boutique to help the business keep going steady. Luckily, during that week, he immediately got hired by Mayor Mare over at Ponyville Town Hall filing documents. Spike and Rarity felt relieved knowing that their friend was able to find a new job without worrying about low payments.
The orders at Carousel Boutique were being carried out smoothly thanks to Spike lending a helping hand. As usual, Rarity's excellent designs were just as flawless as ever after working out the kinks in some of them. During the whole time that Spike had also recently became a permanant resident at Carousel Boutique, he had also helped out around the kitchen, which was a good thing he took time to practice cooking when he was just a little dragon. From the expressions he saw on Rarity's face, Spike's cooking was top notch. Of course, there were times when they would take turns in the kitchen, preparing the food.
--
It was a warm Sunday morning, meaning the Boutique would be closed for today. Rarity had woken up, seeing her handsome dragon sleeping peacefully next to her. She felt lucky knowing that out of all the stallions in Ponyville, no, in all of Equestria, her special somepony was actually a devilishly handsome dragon. It may have taken some convincing from her old crush, Tidal Wave, but she learned to accept the fact that now she thought of Tidal Wave as a brother.
Rarity got out of bed and stretched quietly, so as not to disturb her sleeping drakefriend. Rarity then soon grabbed nice purple robe and headed to the restroom to take a shower. As soon as she disappeared through the bathroom door, Spike began to toss and turn until finally, he slowly opened his eyes all tired. He sat up and let out a yawn, stretching his arms out. It didn't take him long to notice that Rarity was in the shower getting cleaned up, since he heard the shower water running and her beautiful humming. Spike could never get enough of his marefriend and her beautiful singing voice.
Spike got out of bed and headed towards the kitchen downstairs to prepare a special breakfast for his beloved mare and himself so as to surprise her when she's done drying up after her shower. As he began to cook, he started to reminisce about the time when he and Twilight first came to Ponyville all those years ago. Twilight was still a unicorn and Celestia's apprentice. Spike thought that when they first met Pinkie Pie, she was a little...unusual, but later found out that she's actually fun to hang out with, especially at parties. With Applejack, Spike was pretty impressed with how strong she was, and the fact that her family was pretty big made him envious of her. Spike thought Rainbow Dash was always self absorbed into showing off her stunts, but she's pretty funny when it comes to pranks, as long as it didn't involve having to prank him like she did with all those letters to the princess. Of course, upon meeting Rarity, he knew she had stolen his heart with her elegant beauty, not to mention her generous personality as well as being a great fashion designer. Spike's first impression on Fluttershy was how he liked the fact that she thought he was so cute when he was still a baby dragon. All those years had really made Spike feel happy, especially ever since the Rogues showed up, They can be rough around the edges, but the fact that one of them helped him get together with the mare of his dreams made him smile even more.
15 minutes rolled by and Spike had finally finished preparing breakfast. All that was left was for Spike to get cleaned up as well, so he placed the food on the table and covered them up neatly so that it'll stay warm. He headed back upstairs, but he made sure to knock on the door to Rarity's bedroom, in case she was still freshening up.
"Just a minute, Spikey. I need to put on my robe." Rarity said sing-songy.
"Okay." Spike replied.
It only took 2 minutes before he heard her speak again.
"Okay, darling. You can come in." she says happily. Spike then opened the door to see Rarity in her usual purple robe, looking in the mirror as she's curling up her mane.
"Looking as radiant as ever, Rarity." Spike says.
"Oh, Spikey, you're just too kind. Although you should freshen up a bit, darling."
"Yeah, that's what I intend to do. By the way, I made us some breakfast. If you want, you can go ahead and eat after you're done getting ready while I wash off these scales."
"Oh no, I couldn't possibly enjoy a nice breakfast without you there. I'll wait for you. But don't be too long, darling."
"I'll try not to, deary." Spike winked at Rarity before disappearing behind the door. Rarity's face became flushed. "Oh, you sneaky dragon, I'll be sure to pay you back for making me blush." Rarity giggles. She finished getting ready and put her robe away. All the while, she tried to think of a way for her to get back at Spike for making her blush. At first she had no particular stradegy, but then she realized that she had recently been calling him "Spikey" and hadn't been using "Spikey Wikey" or "Spikey-poo" which she felt was now the perfect plan. She didn't have to wait long before seeing her drakefriend appear from behind the door all sparkly clean.
"Good to see you're finally fresh and clean, "Spikey-poo." Rarity says with a wink, which immediately caused Spike to blush.
"Aww, shucks, Rarity. I'm too old to be called that." Spike says, trying to hide his face.
"Well that's what you get, for making me blush earlier when you winked at me and called me "deary." Rarity retorted playfully.
"You pretty little sneaky mare." Spike then uncovered his still rose red face.
"Why thank you, Spikey Wikey." Rarity winked again.
"Hey, what did I say about calling me those nicknames?" Spike chuckled.
"What are you going to do to stop me, darling?" Rarity says, walking up to Spike and leaning near his face.
"Hmm, decisions, decisions..." Spike paused and then looked directly as a smirking Rarity and then locked lips with her, catching her by surprise much to his liking. Rarity's eyes flew wide open but began slowly closed them and began to kiss Spike back. Spike was never gonna get tired of how soft Rarity's lips felt. They finally broke free after a good minute. "Shall we go downstairs and eat?" Spike asked.
"That would be most delightful, Spikey, darling." Rarity replied softly. But instead of having to walk downstairs, Spike picked her up into his arms and carried her downstairs like how a knight carries a princess. "Oh, Spikey, darling. You just love spoiling me like I was a princess, you're such a sweetheart."
"That's because you are a princess...in my eyes...and my heart." Spike says, warmly.
Spike finally put Rarity gently down after they finallly reached the kitchen. Spike headed over to the table and revealed a tasty breakfast befitting a prince and a princess. Rarity's eyes lit up with her mouth hanging open. Spike had prepared some tasty hashbrowns, hay bacon, eggs, pancakes, and some tasty scones as a side dish. Rarity was surprised to see that there wasn't any jewels for Spike to munch and crunch on so she asked him why.
"Well, I didn't have enough time to go out and get some, and I couldn't keep you waiting for so long. So I focused on cooking the stuff we'd both enjoy together. It's no big deal." Spike explains.
"Oh, Spike, still as thoughtful as ever." Rarity says, nuzzling the purple dragon's cheek.
"Thanks Rarity. Shall we eat?" Spike asks.
"Of course, darling." Rarity said.
Rarity took her seat at the left side of the table with Spike and they both served themselves and began eating. Rarity moaned the moment the pancakes made contact with her taste buds. Spike chuckled noticing that Rarity enjoys Spike's homemade pancakes. 10 Minutes went by and the food was finally all gone. With Spike and Rarity on a full stomach, Rarity decided she was going to go out and hang out with her friends and Spike had decided to head out as well. But with the guys getting things ready for their wedding days, Spike was on his own, which was alright with him since he had to make a quick stop at a certain jewelry store to pick up a present for Rarity. The trip didn't last long after he got the gift, so he decided to chill out by the fountain in town square.
--
Rarity was over at Twilight's castle with the other girls discussing about what's been going on. Each of the girls had been talking about how their lovers proposed to them and the gifts they gave them. Mostly all of the girls, except Rarity and Pinkie Pie had been proposed to, which kind of made them both feel left out. Pinkie Pie had been dating Cheese Sandwich ever since the Grand Galloping Gala, which was sadly ruined by the tyrant known as Thunder Drum. The girls had to drop that subject and focused more about what they're gonna do if they ever decided to have children.
"Eh, there's still plenty of time before mating season comes along. Then I'll be all over Sparkster." Rainbow says confidentally.
"I...I'm not sure if Hurricane Blitz is ready for that. I mean...w-what if I screw up?" Fluttershy asks all worried.
"Hey, no need to doubt yerself, sugarcube, Ah'm sure the time'll come eventually. But fer me, I can already feel mah heart beatin' fast with just the thought of us on matin' season. Ah'm not sure if I can wait that long." Applejack said.
"All in good time girls. I mean, Sunset Shimmer is already going to be a mom and she wanted this before Eternal Flames went out on that fight three months ago. But I'm gonna wait until Heat Wave is 18 before we start thinking about kids." Twilight explains.
"That is...IF you're not in heat before then." Rainbow says with a chuckle.
"So, Rarity, Pinkie, What are yer plans fer the little ones, are ya gonna wait 'til marriage, or are ya plannin' on..." Applejack got cut off shortly before she could finish her question.
"I'm thinking about having kids with Cheese Sandwich the day before we get married. It would be kinda boring having to wait after the wedding otherwise I'd be too tired from all the partying and dancing." Pinkie blabs out, finishing with a squee.
"Well, I'm not so sure with me and Spikey. He's very sweet and kind, but I feel like he might not be feeling ready to even consider taking such a big step in his life." Rarity explains a bit sadly.
"Aww, don't worry, Rarity. Even if he thinks he's not ready, he'll know he's ready when he feels it in his heart. I have confidence in you and the rest of you girls." Twilight says. Then the Main 6 began to hug each other before saying their goodbyes.
--
Spike shortly arrived at the boutique with nothing to do but get the place nice and tidy for Rarity when she comes back. He made sure to dust off some of the furniture as well as sweeping and mopping the floors. Once he was done with the first floor, he headed up to the bedroom where he and Rarity sleep in. All he had left to do was fix up the bed and straighten it out. It was plenty easy for him to do so even if it was a queen-sized bed, which suited Rarity perfectly.
He finished up his daily chores and at the same time heard the front door opening and closing, telling him Rarity's back. Spike took out a small box from a tiny bag which he got from the jewelry store. He made his way downstairs to see his lovely mare with her sparkling sapphire eyes and perfectly curled purple mane and snow white fur.
"Spike, darling! The place looks so fresh and clean. You certainly know how to keep the place running while I'm out." said Rarity.
"Just doing what I gotta do." Spike replies. "Anyways, I have something I want to show you, Rarity." Somehow, Rarity felt like she knew what was going to happen, but decided to act she didn't so as not to spoil the surprise. Spike walked down the stairs and up to Rarity with his arms behind his back until he was face to face with the lovely mare. He got down on one knee and presented a small box and opened it , revealing a platinum ring with a diamond at the tip that looked exactly like one of the diamonds on Rartiy's cutie mark. "Rarity, in all my years I spent here in Ponyville with you and the others, I've always felt the closest to you. Ever since I first laid eyes on you when I was just a kid, I knew you were the one for me. Your beauty, inside and outside, can never match that of any other mare in Ponyville. Now that I'm older and I have you by my side, I only have one thing to ask you." Rarity's eyes began to light up, but she had to hold back the tears so she could finally hear what Spike was about to say. "Rarity...will you marry me?" Spike asks.
Rarity tackled Spike to the ground with tears in her eyes and a smile on her face.
"YES I would love to marry you, my beloved Spikey!" Rarity says before giving him a passionate kiss. Spike's eyes lit up in surprise but closed slowly and kissed her back. "I've been waiting for the day you'd ask me that. I love you so much, Spike."
"I love you too, Rarity." Spike replied.
"Spike, darling. Do you think we can get married in 3 months?" Rarity asked.
"Sure thing, Rarity. Anything for you." Spike replied.
With nothing more to say, Spike and Rarity gazed into each others eyes before slowly having Rarity wrap her hooves around Spike and Spike wrapping his arms around Rarity and shared one more passionate kiss.
The Vows That Seal the Deals
Pinkie Pie x Cheese Sandwich
Business at Sugar Cube Corner was going pretty well. The Cakes had a business trip planned out in another town, but they had Pinkie Pie and her coltfriend, Cheese Sandwich to watch over the shop while they were away. Pinkie had been teaching Cheese how to bake the sweets in order to help out around the shop more effectively. Cheese Sandwich could help but feel so happy that his former best friend was now his cute and loving marefriend. Cheese fell in love with Pinkie the moment she lunged at him at the Gala and gave him that long passionate kiss after agreeing to let her be a part of the opening act. Pinkie Pie, on the other hoof, fell in love with him when he came back to Ponyville when it was in danger of being destroyed.
One day, Cheese Sandwich was baking and selling cupcakes, while Pinkie Pie had recieved word that Princess Celestia that she wanted a giant chocolate cake. Cheese made sure to stock up well on cupcakes for the customers. Pinkie Pie was surprised that Princess Celestia wanted to dine on a giant chocolate cake. But she started liking the challenge more and more and decided to give it her all into baking it, even if it was going to get her worn out, which it didn't.
Business went by smoothly as ever, the chocolate cake was complete, the customers were satisfied with the excellent service provided by Cheese and Pinkie, and surprisingly, Cheese and Pinkie had loads of bits that were more than enough to pay off the bills for the place and were still left with a large amount of bits Princess Celestia left them for the delicious cake. Pinkie used half of it to get more ingrediants for the shop and Cheese Sandwich used his fair share to finally grab a certain gift for his pink poofy-maned special somepony.
"Well done, Cheese! Thanks to you, we've overstocked the food cabinets. So tell me, did you get anything with your spare bits? I've already used up my bits on the ingrediants. OOH, I know! Maybe we can have a few cupcakes on me, what do you say?" Pinkie asks.
"Oh I got something with my bits, alright, but it's gonna have to wait until tomorrow since I'm all worn out and starving, so yes, I could go for some of Pinkie's delicious cupcakes." Cheese says, happily.
"YAY!!! To the kitchen, my cutie patootie." Pinkie grabs Cheese's hoof and bolts to the kitchen. The two end up making a batch of 12 cupcakes, two different flavors, 6 strawberry cupcakes, and 6 chocolate cupcakes. Both Cheese Sandwich and Pinkie Pie were happily eating, but mostly it was Cheese enjoying his cupcakes since Pinkie wolfed down her cupcakes. Cheese just couldn't help but wonder how cute and pretty Pinkie is compared to the other mares in town.
Pinkie Pie was thinking the same thing as she watched Cheese munching down on his cupcakes. Her eyes slowly became lidded and she couldn't stop smiling as she began to picture Cheese and her together at the alter, getting married in her mind. Pinkie Pie was too lost in her own world to notice that Cheese Sandwich had finally finish eating.
"Pinkie, you spacing out again?" Cheese asked.
"Hmmmmm?" Pinkie replies, lost in her wedding fantasy.
"Hello, anypony home?" Cheese waved his hoof left and right to get Pinkie's attention.
"I do." Pinkie still had her thoughts on getting married,
"Oh boy. Well, first thing tomorrow morning, I'll tell her. Cute little lady." Cheese then grabbed Pinkie and carried her to her room as she was still lost in her wedding dreamland with her eyes lidded, still smiling. Cheese finally laid her on her bed where Pinkie unexpectedly grabbed Cheese and pulled him onto her bed as she cuddled him and nuzzled the top of his head. 'Don't worry, Pinkie, you won't have to wait long for what I'm about to tell you. Cheese thought in his mind before falling asleep with Pinkie.
The morning had arrived quickly and Pinkie's grip had loosened, giving Cheese the opportunity to sit up and stretch. He looked down at his sleeping marefriend and her peaceful smile. He chuckled and headed downstairs to grab something and bring it upstairs. When he gets back up, Pinkie is still sleeping, so he walks over to her and gently nudges her left and right.
"Pinkie, wake up, sleepy head." Cheese said softly.
"Is it cupcake time already? I haven't even brushed my teeth." Pinkie says, half asleep.
"Pinkie, wake up, you little cutie, I want to tell you something." Cheese chuckles, still nudging her. Pinkie finally woke up and let out a cute yawn and stretched. Pinkie sees Cheese holding something under one of his hooves and Pinkie's eyes flung wide open while at the same time, her smile beamed.
"CHEESE!!! Is it that time already?!" Pinkie asks. Cheese Sandwich reveales out of one of his hooves a golden hoof band matching Pinkie Pie's cutie mark and all she could do was smile with her mouth hanging open.
"Yes Pinkie, I'm going to say it." Cheese says happily. "Pinkie Pie, I want to ask you to be my wife and share our happiness with everypony in Ponyville, because if I cannot imagine a life without my beautiful and adorable special somepony."
"YESYESYESYESYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!" Pinkie shouts, jumping up and down on her bed. Cheese got on her bed and placed the hoof band on her after she calmed down. "Now come here, you cutie patootie!" Pinkie then pulls Cheese in for a long passionate kiss as she felt her excitement skyrocket knowing that she was finally going to be married.
"So how does 2 months sound for our wedding day?" Pinkie asks after breaking the kiss.
"I say I'm all for it, "sugar pie." Cheese says before he pulls Pinkie in for another kiss.
