“I’m doing what now?”
Bonbon’s candy shop was a store of wonder for many a mare and stallion. Jars of candy were stacked on shelves that went to the ceiling. The smell of sugar and caramel hung in the air. “Wonderful,” she said, rising from her throne. “I had feared that the delivery was delayed.”
She stepped off her pillow and onto the stone steps of her throne. As she descended it, the thud of each hoof fall echoed through the nearly silent room.
Felix lowered his head as Luna approached, offering the box to her. “My boss didn’t trust the mail ponies this time, so she sent me. Sorry it took a bit longer than normal, I had to take the train up here.”
