A harsh light flared to life in Rarity’s eyes as she awake. Confused, she squinted into the light unable to see to see where she was as the spotlight obscured everything around her. The few details she could make out were that it was dark and the room she was in smelled of moisture and concrete. A low rumble could be made out from somewhere behind her, a furnace she presumed. Which could only mean she was in a basement.
She tried to get her thoughts together but they felt distant. As she pondered the reason as to why, she tried to move only to find her movements sluggish as if her entire body was submerged in molasses Her eyes went wide, had she’d been drugged? Her sudden twitching had revealed more of her situation as she felt two large metal rings wrapped around her barrel along with a rod running along her underbelly and back keeping her from slumping. It was also at that moment that she noticed her hooves were not touching the ground. What was going on?!
She shoved a bit as she heard a door open behind her and somepony entering. Their hooves clacked on the concrete and it wasn’t long till she felt a hoof on her back. “Oh good you’re awake,” the mare said with a semi-happy chirp, yet each word was accented with scorn.
Rarity hooves twitch as she struggles to talk. “W-who are you. What do you want?” She wanted to be brave and fight this just like she had done with the diamond dogs, but without any ability to move, there was little she could do against her captor. Even her horn wasn’t an option, as it had a silver ring slid upon it.
A moment of silence stretched onwards as the mare slowly rubbed her hoof on Rarity’s cutie mark as if admiring fine china. Rarity bit her lip as she felt the hoof do small circles before pulling back and giving a sharp swat. “Oh as if you don’t know,” she hissed staying out of her captive’s view.
The spank had left Rarity shocked. Who was this mare? Why had she bound her? She tried shifting again feeling her captor grab one of her hind legs pulling it back.“I had thought of letting you sleep through the process, but that would ruin the fun.” Rarity felt her leg being bound in some sort of wire frame. Once she heard a soft click, the fashion pony found that her leg was now held in place. No matter how she moved her leg, it stayed fixed in place.
“W-what do you want?! Let me go,” Rarity begged, shivering as her other hind leg was locked into place. The pose felt oddly familiar but she wasn’t sure why. She once more tried to turn to see her captor but he remained in the dark or in the blinding light.
The mare laughed as she moved in front of Rarity still obscured in a silhouette. “You think you’re better than me. Ha, luckily I know exactly how to keep you out of the fashion show.”
Rarity gulps looking down as the mare pulled her forelegs forward in front of her locking them into the same frame as her rear. “W-what no! It may be competition but I would never be so petty.” She struggled weakly staring down at her fixed hooves. “What are you doing to me?”
The mare scoffed placing a hoof under Rarity chin and making her stare at her... “I’m not about to let some famous fashionista steal my spotlight.” Memories came back to the white mare of her preparing for her latest fashion show in Trottingham where hours before she had mingled with many of the up-in-coming designers. While in her thoughts Rarity felt something cold and metallic click around her neck squeezing light a brace. She gasped at the snug fit finding her neck could no longer move held there in a default position. A chin rest ensured that she could only look forward as well into the blinding light.
“Y-you are nuts, I would never ruin somepony career. You are being very uncivilized.” Rarity struggled uselessly against her binds. “Unhand me at once!” She wanted to glare but had to resort closing her eyes due to the intensity of the lights.
The mare seems to tense before striking a slap across Rarity’s cheek. “Umph, you have such a lovely mane it a shame I’ll have to ruin it.”
“My mane, what do you mean? Don’t you dare touch it!” Rarity yelled, only to get another spank on her bubbly flank. She yelped soon feeling the unicorn’s magic pull her mane up and loud buzzing heard getting closer, a shaver to be exactly. “No, no don’t do it! I’ll give you anything.”
Her captor let out another manic laugh. “I had thought of gagging you sooner, but your begging for mercy just makes this all far more amusing.” The mare dug the shaver in shearing off stripes of the mane like it was sheep wool. The tune she was humming almost made it seem like she was enjoying this.
Rarity panicked trying to resist as strip after the strip was removed from her head. The sound was almost deafening as her beauty was stropped from her. With the chin strap holding her there, all she could do was watch as the purple locks fell in front of her. But what was scarier still was what the mare uttered next
“Manikins don’t need manes or tails after all. “ the last traces of lush mane fell off her head as the mare turned off the shaver letting it blade rub as she slid it down the back slowly.
“Don’t you dare!” Rarity futility whopped her tail around as the approaching blade neared its target. “ I’ll give you gems, bits, my latest fashion line! Just stop this madness.” She cried out, feeling another harsh slap on her flank. “Help me, anypony help!” She called out in desperation as the shaver was quick to snip off her tail leaving it just a stump by her dock. The cool air from the basement brushed her nethers too.
“Don’t bother, I’ve taken every percussion. There is no way you’ll escape and when I’m done with you, well you’ll see or not.” She laughed some as Rarity could hear the crazy mare grabbing something from out of sight.
Rarity wasn’t sure what the mare had meant but tried to squint harder to see through the harsh light to see what she was up too. Her voice quivered. “You’ll never get away with this.” Her mind raced as she tried to think of some way to get out of this but nothing was coming to mind. Suddenly from behind her, she felt something solid clamp around her hind leg frames feeling two segments squeeze together before a soft click was heard. “W-what was that?” She demanded sweat running down her brow. Her captor refused to answer as she heard more sounds as she felt the same pressure applied to her rear and body. She gasps for air as whatever was encasing her fit her frame. The fashionista found that she couldn’t move her back anymore, held rigid and stiff. As the mare came up from she tried to see what was coming only seeing two halves of what looked like limbs. Her forehooves were soon encased in the same material keeping her trapped.
The mare moved her hoof down Rarity’s back but it felt off, smooth almost and her touch muted. “MMM might as well show you.” she clapped twice causing the spotlight to turn off revealing the full body mirror before Rarity.
Rarity screamed upon seeing herself. Encasing her entire body was the same white plastic mold of a manikin hugging her every curve. A light glow of magic surrounded her as the seams of each segment vanished completely entrapping her inside. She even had the exact same pose as well. All that was missing was the headpiece, and she guessed with horror that it was next for her new outfit. “No, stop this. Please don’t do this we can talk this out.” Rarity begged once more, now spotting her captor in the new light.
The mare’s wide grin was accented by her white coat and purple mane imitating Rarity’s own, but clearly nowhere as pristine as the original. The only thing to stand out was the needle and spool of red thread on her flanks. “Mmm, you are almost done then you’ll be wearing my designs. Isn’t that just great?” Her eye twitched.
“No, you’re insane!” Rarity’s heartbeat raced as she tried again to get any wiggle room only being denied again as the mare’s magic held her steady on her stand. Before she could comment further a large red ball gag was pushed into her mouth the straps digging into her cheeks as they were buckled snug behind her head. “Mmmph!”
The mare laughed once more tugging on each ear as cotton balls were lined up to each. “Goodbye Rarity.” With that, her hearing was muffled as the stuffing was pressed as deep as it would go. Rarity eyes darted around as she could do nothing but watched as the two segments of the manikin head were moved closer together on either side of her at a very slow pace just to make the fashion pony last glimpses a desperate hope. Rarity continued to muffled her pleads for mercy even as the two halves pushed together swallowing sunlight as they fused together.
As Rarity screamed into her gag, she could feel fabric draped over her and her new life began.
-Alternate ending-
Rarity awoke with a start. clinging to her bed sheets breathing heavily.. Her eyes scanned around the hotel room reminding her of her true location. A few moments go by in silence as she caught her breath peering across the room at the manikin she had laid her newest dress on the night before. A shiver ran down her neck as she recalled the dream. “How dreadful,“ she muttered, staring at the adult novel on the nightstand. Shaking her head, she climbed out of bed making her way over to the small coffee maker on the counter. Letting out a soft sigh, she let the sounds of the roaster soothe her. A moment later, a soft knock was heard from the adjacent room. The unicorn jump to a bed before recalling that she was sharing a room with another upcoming fashion mare who was rather new to the field. She opened the door with a smile.
“Is everything all right, Rarity?“ The white mare asked, adjusting her still frizzy red mane.
Rarity shook her head a bit. “Just a very odd dream is all. Nothing to worry your head about.” She recalled now that she had been sharing this room with the up-incoming fashionista. Whatever had made her have that odd dream it was over now. Although she would never look at her mankins the same way ever again.
