Magenta finished cleaning the living room, then sat on the couch to watch TV. She was watching a story about a Garden Expo happening at the Canterlot City Hotel.

“I keep hearing of this event.” Magenta thought to herself. “Sunset Shimmer said that she and Wallflower Blush are attending this event.”

Just then, Lavender came home and greeted his sister. “Hi, Magenta. I’m home!”

“Hi, Lavender.” Magenta responded. “What did you do at the Activity Center today?”

“My friends and I saw a great movie. Then, they talked about yoga and how good it is.”

“Hmmm. Thinking of doing yoga like me?”

Lavender had a thought. “Maybe. You might be on to something. If yoga helps you with stress relief, it might help me.”

Magenta and Lavender worked together to clean the kitchen. They were finished when their mother came in.

“Hi, mom.” Lavender called.

“Hi, kids.” Willow replied. “How was your day?”

“My day was quiet.” Magenta answered. “Lavender had a good day too.”

Willow gave Magenta some news. “You know that garden expo happening at the Canterlot City Hotel. Do you?”

“Yes, I did. Sunset Shimmer and Wallflower Blush are attending that event.”

Magenta’s mom smirked. “Funny you should mention Sunset. She readied a reservation for you to spend the night with her and Wallflower.”

Magenta’s eyes widened. “Whoa, mama. Now I’m spending the night at a hotel. That’s so cool!”

“You know the drill, honey. Pack your bag and get ready for night number four.”

Later, a blue car entered Canterlot City. In the car, Magenta was riding with Spitfire as her mom, Stormy Flare, was driving.

“Thanks for taking me to the hotel, Miss Flare.” Magenta praised.

“You’re welcome, Magenta.” Stormy Flare replied. “Spitfire and I were on our way here anyway.”

Spitfire gave Magenta some info. “A cousin of mine is having a birthday party. And, we were invited to join the fun.” She whispered some good news to Magenta. “I’ll save you some birthday cake.”

The car soon pulled up in front of the hotel. Magenta got out of the car, carrying her suitcase with her. “Thank for the lift.”

“Our pleasure.” Spitfire said happily. “Say ‘hi’ to Sunset and Wallflower for me.”

“I will. And, have fun at that party.”

The car drove away. With bag in hand, Magenta walked into the hotel. She was amazed at the size of the place. “Wow! This is one big hotel. Those two are lucky to stay here during the garden expo.”

Magenta walked up to the front desk.

“Can I help you, miss?” The desk clerk asked.

“I believe I have a reservation.” Magenta answered. “My name is Magenta Whisp.”

The desk clerk looked her name up on his computer. Soon, he finds it. “Ah, yes. Magenta Whisp. Miss Sunset Shimmer and Miss Wallflower Blush had you registered.”

He soon gave her a key card. “Your room number is 626. Sunset and Wallflower are across the hall from you.”

“Thank you, sir.” Magenta praised.

Taking the elevator to the sixth floor, Magenta walked down the hall to find her room. “632, 630, 628, ah. Here it is, 626.”

Using the card, Magenta opens the door and looks around her room.

“Oh my gosh!” Magenta gasped. “ This is nice.” She sits on the bed. “This bed feels good. Perfect for a good night sleep.”

Someone knocked on a door and called out with a deep female voice. “Room service!”

Magenta got confused. “I don’t remember ordering room service.”

She opened the door, and saw a familiar sight with red and yellow striped hair. She squealed with joy. “Sunset!”

“Hey, Magenta.” Sunset greeted. “Welcome to the party!”

Magenta and Sunset embraced in a hug.

“Thank for inviting me to this hotel.” Magenta chirped. “How did you pull this off?”

“I did some favors for this place last summer.” Sunset responded. “The people here told me if I need anything, I just let them know.”

“That’s cool. So, where’s your partner in flowers?”

Hearing that, Wallflower Blush walked out of her room to greet the visitor. “You called, Magenta?”

Magenta saw Wallflower, and gave her a hug. “Good to see you, Wallflower.”

“Good to see you too.” Wallflower replied. “Sunset and I are happy you’re joining us.”

Sunset interrupted them. “Hey, you guys. Let’s go down to the lobby for dinner.”

“Good idea.” Magenta said with relief. “I can go for something to eat.”

The three girls sat down in a restaurant to have their meal. Wallflower showed Magenta pictures of the garden expo on her digital camera.

“Must’ve been some event you went to.” Magenta said, munching on a bacon cheeseburger.

“Sure was.” Wallflower replied. “I learned a lot at that expo. Helps me get ideas on how to improve my own garden.”

Sunset takes a bite of a baked potato as she comes into the conversation. “I’ve been to her garden. It looks gorgeous. But, even garden lovers like Wallflower Blush can use some advice.”

Wallflower started to blush a bit. “Oh, Sunset. No need to praise me that much.”

The three girls shared a laugh as they continue to dine. Later that night, Magenta changed into a pair of marigold colored pajamas, ready for bed. Then, someone knocked on her door. Magenta answered the door, and Sunset was waiting for her.

“How’d you like this little surprise, Magenta?” Sunset wondered.

“This is great, Sunset.” Magenta praised. “Is Wallflower bunking with you?”

“Nah. I think she’s still a little not sure about relationships. She’s next door to me however.”

“I can understand that.” Magenta started to yawn. “Time to hit the sack. Goodnight, Sunset.”

“Good night, Magenta. Sleep well.”

Sunset left, Magenta closed the door, and climbed onto her bed. Pretty soon, she fell asleep. The next morning, around 7:30am, Sunset, Wallflower, Magenta packed up, and went into a limousine Sunset arranged. The limo soon left the city.

“So far,” Magenta happily said, “This has been a great week.”

“Glad you hear you say that.” Sunset praised. “Your week is half way over. Don’t forget the big slumber party this Saturday.”

“I won’t.”

The limo parked in front of Magenta’s house. She got out and waved goodbye to Sunset and Wallflower as they’re being taken home.

Magenta soon heard a familiar voice. “Morning, dear.”

She turned, as saw her mother, Willow Whisp, getting into her car with Lavender riding with her.

“Hi, mom.” Magenta called. “Ready to go to work?”

“Yes, I am.” Willow answered. “And, I’m dropping Lavender off at the Activity Center on the way.”

“Anything I can do for you?”

“Well, it’s Wednesday. That means laundry day. But, after the washing, hang the clothes out in the backyard. It’s going to be sunny and warm today.”

Magenta nodded. “No problem. Anything else?”

Willow gave her some other advice. “Keep you phone charged and nearby. This way, you’ll know what night number five will bring.”

Willow drove off to drop Lavender off, then go to work. Magenta agreed what her mother said. Her week of sleepovers IS halfway over.
