She’ll be here.” “I hope so.” Luna replied. “This is one important mission for Twilight’s school.” One of the guards came into the throne room. “Princesses, our honored guest has arrived.” Celestia and Luna watch with anticipation. In walks a young human girl with brown hair and wearing a lavender dress. She stops in front of the alicorn princesses. “Princess Sofia of Enchantia.” Celestia greeted. “Welcome to Equestria.” Sofia curtsies to Celestia. “It is a pleasure to meet you, Princess Celestia. I was told you need help.” “Actually,” Luna informed, “Twilight Sparkle needs the help.” “The Princess of Friendship? Where is she?” Suddenly, Twilight appears with a large gray slab by her side. “Right here.” Sofia got surprised to see Twilight Sparkle. Soon, Starlight Glimmer pops out of nowhere. “Starlight Glimmer!” Sofia yelped. “I didn’t expect you to show up.” “We of Equestria are glad you’re here, Sofia.” Starlight said. “Twilight will explain your quest.” Twilight Sparkle tells Sofia an interesting story. “With new young students coming to our School of Friendship, I figured we would teach them some basic learning skills. One of which is learning the alphabet.” “But,” Starlight continued, “a nasty gremlin cast a magic spell and scattered all twenty six letters from this board all over Equestria.” Twilight then turned to the young princess. “This is where you come in, Sofia. With your adventurous spirit, you can probably find those letters.” Sofia thought about the mission. Then, gives the ponies her answer. “Twilight Sparkle, Starlight Glimmer, I’ll do it!” Happy to hear that, Twilight gives Sofia a bag and some instructions. “Once you grab a letter, it will change back to normal. You’ll find the letters A, B, C, D, and E here in Canterlot. Other ponies will help you along the way. Good luck.” Twilight and Starlight and their letter wall vanished. Stepping outside of the castle. Sofia prepares for her quest. “Well, here goes nothing.” As Sofia wanders the streets of Canterlot, she saw two guards grumbling. She zips over to see how she can help. “Something wrong?” Sofia asked. “There’s this green triangle creature causing trouble.” One guard explained. “We try to catch it.” The other guard continued. “But, it’s too wily.” Just then, all three saw the creature chirping wildly at passing ponies. Sofia crept up and, acting fast, she grabbed the creature. It then changed into it’s true form. “I found the letter A!” Sofia cheered. Soon, she placed the A into her bag. “Thank you, miss.” One of the guards said. Sofia gave the guards a polite curtsy, and continued her quest. She makes her way to the School for Gifted Unicorns where she saw some of them scatter. Sofia goes into the school and was greeted by Professor Bill Neigh. “Princess Sofia.” The professor said. “I was told you were coming. There’s a blue beast making trouble in my classroom.” “Lead on, Professor Neigh.” Sofia said with concern. Sofia and the Professor go into the room. They saw the blue beast hopping on his desk. The young princess approached the little creature. “That’s enough out of you!” She grabs the creature, and it transformed into an alphabet letter. Professor Neigh was shocked. “That thing was a letter B?” “That’s right.” Sofia answered as she places the B in her bag. Professor Neigh walks up to Sofia. “Thanks for your help, Sofia.” “You’re welcome.” Sofia replied. “Pardon me, sir. I have more letters to round up.” Sofia leaves the school as the professor waves goodbye. “Good luck, Princess Sofia.” She makes her way to Joe’s Donut Shop. As she enters, she sees something weird within the donuts. It’s round and yellow. “Excuse me, sir.” Sofia said politely to the light teal pony behind the counter. “Is that yellow donut tasty?” The pony looked at the yellow donut with confusion. As he was going to get it, the donut hopped out. But, Sofia grabbed it and it changed into it’s real form. “I knew it!” Sofia indicated. “The letter C!” She places the letter C into her bag. Gives the counter pony a polite farewell, and heads out. Sofia finds herself in front of Rarity’s clothing store in Canterlot, the Canterlot Carousel. Store manager, Sassy Saddles sees the young princess. “Princess Sofia.” Sassy greeted. “What brings you here to this establishment?” “Have you seen any strange critters around?” Sofia asked. “Well, I haven’t seen any...” Suddenly, from a pile of fabric, a purple creature popped out. Sassy got scared, but Sofia isn’t. Getting close, she grabbed the creature. It changed into a different object. “Oh my.” Sassy gasped. “Is that a letter D?” “That’s right.” Sofia answered as she places the D in her bag. Then, a fiery red bird pecked on the window of the store. Sofia comes out to see the bird. Thanks to the Amulet of Avalor, she was able to talk to the bird. “Philomena! This is a surprise!” “There’s a strange creature at the castle.” Philomena the Phoenix replied. “Celestia and Luna need help catching it.” “Lead on, Philomena. I’ll follow.” Philomena and Sofia made their way to Canterlot Castle. They made their way to the throne room where Celestia and Luna were waiting. “Sofia!” Celestia called out. “I see Philomena brought you to us.” “We sent her to find you,” Luna explained, ”because there’s a blue beast roaming about.” Philomena squawked and pointed with her wing to her cage. Sofia saw a blue critter growling near the cage. Creeping up quietly, she grabbed it and it changed into a different object. “Now, I have the letter E.” Sofia said as she places the letter in the bag. Suddenly, Starlight Glimmer and the gray board materialized. “Hi, Sofia.” Starlight greeted. “You found all the letters here in Canterlot.” “It wasn’t easy.” Sofia confesses. “But, I got them.” “That’s good. Just open the bag and I’ll put the letters on this board.” Sofia opened the bag. Then, Starlight used her magic to bring the five letters to the board. Everyone was very happy. “Twilight and I will keep an eye on you, Sofia.” Starlight informed. “There will be somepony waiting outside the castle to take you to your next locale.” Starlight and the board vanished. Celestia turned to the young princess from Enchantia. “Starlight is right, Sofia. You’re mission has just begun.” Quest for Letters: Part 2Sofia walks outside of the castle where she sees a sky blue Pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail. “Rainbow Dash.” Sofia cheered. “Nice to see you.” “What’s up, Sofia?” Rainbow Dash replied. “Climb on. Next stop: Cloudsdale!” Sofia climbs on Rainbow’s back, and they fly up into the air. Soon, they reached a city on clouds as Sofia’s amulet turns white. Rainbow lands and Sofia jumps off. The daredevil pony got surprised. “Wow! Your amulet can do anything!” “I guess you’re right.” Sofia replied. “It even lets me float on these clouds. So, what’s going on here?” Rainbow Dash gives Sofia some information. “Starlight gave me the heads up on your letter search. I learned that the letters F, G, H, and I are spotted here in Cloudsdale. Good luck.” As Rainbow Dash leaves, Sofia prepares for her search. She was just walking along when she heard voices arguing. The voices belonged to Hoops, Dumbbell, and Score. They were the three Pegasi who used to cause trouble for Rainbow Dash. “Hey, fellas.” Sofia called out as she approached them. Hoops, the light brown Pegasus, saw her coming. “Princess Sofia! Never thought you would help us.” “I’m always ready to help others, despite their past. What’s the matter?” “This crazy critter came out of nowhere and started to jump all over us.” Score, the gray Pegasus, explained. All of a sudden, Dumbbell, the dark brown Pegasus, started to swat a strange red beast. Sofia saw what he was going after. She quickly grabbed the creature. And, it changed into an alphabet better. “A letter F?” Dumbbell blurted out. “That’s new.” Sofia places the F into the bag and headed out. Score waved goodbye. “Thanks for the help, Sofia!” Suddenly, Sofia hears commotion coming from a large stadium. Hoops approached the princess and explained about the stadium. “That’s the Cloudeseum. Sounds like there’s trouble. I’ll take you there.” Sofia got on his back and they took off for the Cloudeseum. Inside, the athletes we’re going after a skating green creature. Ms. Harshwinny, who makes decisions on sporting events, was getting annoyed. She saw Sofia and Hoops entering the Cloudeseum. “Princess Sofia!” Harshwinny called out. “This is unexpected.” “I heard there was trouble.” Sofia replied. The princess from Enchantia saw the green creature and rushed off to catch it. “Pardon me. I’ll be back.” The creature was skating away from the athletes, but Sofia hid out of sight. When the creature got close, she grabbed it quick. Harshwinny came along as the green creature changed into it’s real form. “My goodness.” Harshwinny said. “That’s a letter G.” “That’s right.” Sofia replied as she places the G in her bag. “And, that’s one more letter out of the way.” Sofia heads out of the Cloudeseum where Hoops is waiting. Harshwinny watched her leave. “Thank you, Princess Sofia.” Suddenly, Sofia sees some clouds coming out of a tall building. “What’s that place, Hoops?” Sofia asked. “That’s the Weather Factory.” Hoops answered. “Looks like something’s wrong.” “Probably another alphabet letter. Let’s go!” The two figures zipped over to the Weather Factory. Sofia approached the entrance when a light gray security guard pony called to her. “Are you Princess Sofia?” “That I am.” The young princess replied. “I was told you’re looking for animated alphabet letters. I think there’s one in here.” Sofia rushes into the factory. She sees a purple creature hopping on the controls. Acting swiftly, she sneaks up and grabbed the creature. The guard sees the creature transforms into it’s real self. “So, that beast turned out to be a letter H.” “That’s right.” Sofia replied as she places the H in her bag. “And now, this place is back to normal.” As she left the factory, she sees a yellow pegasus with a red and marigold mane and tail, and wearing a military uniform. She recognizes the Pegasus. “Captain Spitfire. This is a surprise.” Spitfire explains her reason for approaching the young princess. “I’ve been watching you rounding up the letters F, G, and H. We of the Wonderbolts can use your help.” Spitfire brought Sofia to Wonderbolt Headquarters. There, the Wonderbolts stand at attention. “Listen up!” Spitfire commanded. “Princess Sofia is brought here to collar that beast. She thinks it’s a letter of the alphabet.” “I heard of that.” Fleetfoot interrupted. “Those letters are for the School of Friendship. Right?” “That’s right.” Sofia answered. “Your leader told me that one of them is here.” Soarin’ Skies stepped forward. “Come with me, Miss Sofia.” Soarin’ lead Sofia to the mess hall. There, he explained the situation. “We were having a meal when this sky blue stick critter caused trouble.” “Go back to the others.” Sofia suggested. “I’ll handle it from here.” As Soarin’ left the mess hall, Sofia spotted what he was talking about. She saw a stick creature laying down on a plate. Probably tired from bouncing around. Sofia sneaked up to the critter. A minute later, she exits the mess hall with the Wonderbolts seeing her exit. “Did you find the critter?” Spitfire asked. “Yes, I did.” Sofia answered. “But, this is what it really is.” Sofia holds up the object. Misty Fly recognizes it. “Wow! That’s the letter I!” “That’s right.” Sofia replied. As she puts the I in the bag, Starlight and her letter board appeared. “Hi, Sofia. Time to get those letters back to the board.” Sofia opens her bag. Starlight uses her magic to transfer F, G, H, and I to the letter board with the other letters. “Somepony will be coming by to pick you up.” Starlight said. “See you later.” Starlight and the board vanished. Spitfire approached the princess. “You’ve been busy. Haven’t you, Sofia?” The young princess replied to Spitfire. “More than you think.” Quest for Letters: Part 3Sofia was approached by a beautiful yellow Pegasus with a pink mane and tail. “Fluttershy!” Sofia yelped. “This is unexpected.” “Hello, Princess Sofia.” Fluttershy greeted. “Your next stop is Everfree Forest.” Sofia climbs on Fluttershy’s back as the Pegasus takes her away from Wonderbolt Headquarters. Spitfire watches on. “Good luck, Sofia.” Minutes later, Fluttershy and Sofia land in Everfree Forest. The nature lover explained to Sofia about the situation. “Starlight told me about what you’re doing. You’ll find the letters J, K, L, and M here.” “This forest is huge!” Sofia realized. “Don’t worry, Sofia. I have faith in you.” Fluttershy gives Sofia a gentle hug. “Happy hunting.” As Fluttershy leaves, Sofia hears a loud roar. It turns out to be a manticore, and it looks like it has a green hook shaped creature stuck on its wing. Sofia rushes over to calm the manticore. “Please calm down.” Sofia cooed. “I’ll help you.” “You?” The manticore growled. “How?” “Just stand still and I’ll get that hook off your wing.” Sofia made her way to the manticore’s wing and carefully removed the hook beast. The little critter changed into it’s real form. “I thought that thing was the letter J.” Sofia said. She soon puts the J into her bag. The manticore approached the young princess. “How can a human like you know what I’m saying or feeling?” “My amulet lets me talk to animals.” Sofia explained. Happy to have that creature off his wing, the manticore leaves. Suddenly, she heard a female voice call to her. “Princess Sofia, over here. I am very happy to see you, my dear.” The young princess of Enchantia sees who the voice belongs to. She sees a wise looking zebra and walks up to her. “Zecora!” Sofia yelped. “How can I help you?” “There’s a small blue beast roaming about. I need your help to get it out!” Zecora explained. Zecora leads Sofia inside her hut. The two figures saw who Sofia is talking about. A blue creature hops all over the place. Zecora was very upset. “With that creature around, I can’t have peace. What can we do to have it cease?” “Don’t worry, Zecora.” Sofia said. “I’ll handle this.” As the blue beast stops to rest, Sofia sneaks up and quickly grabs it. The beast changes into it’s true form. Zecora was shocked. “Oh my goodness. I must say. I never thought it was a letter K.” Sofia puts the K in the bag, and prepares to leave. “Your troubles are over, Zecora.” She gives the wise zebra a hug. “Bye.” Zecora waves goodbye as Sofia continues her quest. She crosses a bridge, then sees an ancient ruin. She recognizes it. “The Palace of the Two Sisters. This is where jealousy and anger transformed Princess Luna into Nightmare Moon.” As Sofia approached the castle, she heard a buzzing sound. She saw a lime green angled creature being chased by Flash Bees. Sofia took the creature and hid in a nearby bush. The bees fly away as Sofia holds on to the little critter. Suddenly, she felt the creature changing. She then saw what the beast was. “Wow!” Sofia yelped. “Those bees were chasing a letter L.” Sofia puts the L in her bag, and continued towards the castle. She went inside and looked around. “This place is huge.” Sofia said to herself. “Feels a little scary too.” She then finds herself at the throne room where Celestia and Luna used to sit. She was then approached by a yellow zigzag creature, which was scared. “Poor little critter.” Sofia cooed as she picked it up. “There’s nothing to be scared of.” Just then, the yellow changed into an object. Sofia saw what it was. “That critter was the letter M.” Sofia places the M in her bag. After exiting the castle, she was approached by Starlight Glimmer and her alphabet board. “Good work, Sofia.” Starlight cheered. The unicorn used her magic to remove the J, K, L, and M from Sofia’s bag and place them on her board. “There are twenty six letters in the alphabet.” Starlight informed. “And, you have gathered thirteen.” “Thirteen is half of twenty six. Right?” Sofia wondered. “That’s right. Hold on to me. We’re leaving this forest.” Using her magic, Starlight transported herself, her board, and Sofia out of the forest. They find themselves at a train station. “While I head back to the school,” Starlight said, “you’re taking a train ride.” “A train ride?” Sofia gasped. “Where?” “To Manehattan. See you later.” Starlight and her board vanished. Sofia wonders what will wait for her at her next destination. Quest for Letters: Part 4Aboard the train, Sofia sits in a comfortable chair, next to a white unicorn with a blue mane and tail. “Thank you for riding with me, Rarity.” Sofia said. “You’re welcome, darling.” Rarity replied. “Besides, I have business in Manehattan anyway.” “What business?” “I’m heading for my newest store, Rarity for You, to prepare for a fashion event. As for your purpose, I heard from some friends of mine that the letters N, O, P, and Q were spotted.” The train stops at Maneway Station. The passengers disembark as Rarity turns to Sofia. “Good luck, Sofia. Finding four letters of the alphabet in this metropolis won’t be easy.” “I can handle it, Rarity.” Sofia assured. Just as Rarity leaves, one of the baggage handling ponies was being bothered by a zigzag like turquoise critter. Sofia rushes over and grabs the critter. It changes into another letter Sofia was looking for. “So, that beast was a letter N.” The handler said. “Thank you, miss.” “You’re welcome.” Sofia replied. She places the N in her bag, and heads out. Sofia soon saw the photography pony, Photo Finish, getting frustrated, and went over to help her. “Are you all right, Photo Finish?” Sofia asked. Photo turned, and saw the young princess. “Miss Sofia. I’m glad you’re here. I’m trying to get some good pictures of this city. But, this round red creature keeps getting in my way.” “Round and red. Hmm. Let’s find someplace for you to take a picture. But, I’ll be hiding to nab this creature.” Minutes later, Photo Finish has a good view of the Mare Statue. Sofia hid close by. Just then, a round red creature came to get in the picture again. But, Sofia quickly grabbed it, and Photo Finish saw the beast transform into a different object. “What?” Photo yelped. “That beast is a letter O?” “That’s right.” Sofia answered as she puts the O in her bag. “Now you can take pictures in peace. Bye.” Sofia heads out as Photo Finish bids her goodbye. “Farewell, Sofia. And, thank you.” As Sofia passes by the Manefare Hotel, she was approached by the distinguished Hoity Toity. The elegant pony approached the young princess. “Princess Sofia of Enchantia. I am so glad to see you.” “Hello, Mr. Hoity Toity.” Sofia replied as she curtsies to him. “How can I help you?” “Follow me. Into the hotel!” Sofia follows Hoity Toity into the hotel as he explains the situation. “The chefs in the kitchen are having a problem with preparing dishes for a grand event.” “How can I help?” Sofia asked. “I heard that you’re searching for letters of the alphabet all around Equestria. I think one of them is the trouble maker.” Entering the kitchen, Sofia sees the problem. One of the chefs struggles with what looks like a sky blue spoon like object. When the object started to look at the chef, he started to panic and dropped the critter. Sofia rushes over and grabbed it. The critter started glowing. A minute later, Sofia exited the kitchen with Hoity Toity waiting for her. “We’re you successful?” Hoity Toity asked. Sofia held up the object, and Hoity Toity recognized it. “Ah. That thing turned out to be a letter P.” “That right.” Sofia replied as she places the P in her bag. Just as Sofia left the hotel, she was approached by one of Rarity’s other friends, Coco Pummel. “I’m glad to find you, Sofia. Rarity needs you at her store.” “I heard of that store.” Sofia figured. “It’s called ‘Rarity for You’. Right?” “That’s right. Please, come with me. Hurry!” Sofia followed Coco to Rarity’s store. When they went inside, they see Rarity fussing with a round yellow creature. This beast occasionally sticks it’s tongue at her. “Sofia! I’m glad you’re here.” Rarity said with relief. “This beast just won’t leave me alone!” “I’ll handle this, Rarity.” Sofia assured. “Thank you, darling.” Sofia rushes to the rescue. Quickly, she grabbed the creature, and it magically changed into another alphabet letter. “Wow!” Coco yelped. “That was a letter Q.” Sofia places the Q in her bag and turns to the two ponies. “Now, your troubles are over.” “Thank you, Sofia.” Rarity said. Sofia and Rarity embraced each other in a hug, then the princess of Enchantia leaves. Outside the store, Sofia runs into Starlight Glimmer and her letter board. “Hello, Sofia.” Starlight greeted. “I figured you’d show up when I got all the letters in an area.” Sofia replied. Sofia opened her bag. Then, using her magic, Starlight brought the letters N, O, P, and Q to her letter board. She soon transported herself, her letter board, and Sofia back to Maneway Station. “I’ll never get used to that teleportation magic.” Sofia said. “You aren’t the only one who said that.” Starlight replied. “Anyway, next stop for you is the Crystal Empire.” Quest for Letters: Part 5Aboard the train, Sofia was enjoying the ride. As is her traveling companion. This time, it was Applejack, the farmer pony. “Enjoying the train ride, Sofia?” Applejack asked. “Yes. Thank you for asking.” Sofia replied. “What’s your business at the Crystal Empire?” “None. I’m visiting my cousin, Braeburn, in Appleloosa, which is on the way to the Crystal Empire. Meanwhile, you have some letter catching over there.” “What am I going after this time?” “Princess Cadence sent a message that there were crazy critters spotted. These critters were said to look like the letters R, S, T, U, and V.” “Sounds like I have a lot of work to do.” Twenty minutes later, Sofia got off the train, and arrived at the Crystal Empire. Just as she arrived, she saw Starlight Glimmer’s friend, Sunburst, rush out in a panic. “Help! Help!” Sunburst yelled hysterically. “Creature in my workshop!” Sofia stopped Sunburst and tried to calm him down. “Relax, friend. I might be of help to you.” “Princess Sofia.” Sunburst said, realizing who’s talking to him. “Nice to meet you. You said you can help me?” “Lead me to your workshop, and we’ll solve this problem together.” Sofia and Sunburst made their way to his workshop. Inside, they see a magenta creature hopping around. “There’s the creature.” Sunburst explained. “It maybe small. But, it’s reckless.” Sofia saw the beast. “Don’t worry, Sunburst. I can handle this.” Quietly, Sofia snuck up to the creature. Then, she quickly grabbed it. The beast changed into an alphabet letter. Sunburst was astounded. “Amazing. That beast became a letter R.” Sofia puts the R in her bag. And, turns to Sunburst. “I have to go. I have more letters to find.” “Oh.” Sunburst realized. “This mission Starlight told me about. She talked to me before it began. Well, good luck.” Sofia politely bowed, and exited the workshop. While walking along the streets, Sofia came up to a statue of Spike, Twilight Sparkle’s dragon friend. I was told Spike is somewhat of a hero here in the Crystal Empire. Sofia thought. He helped bring the Crystal Heart to the castle to defeat King Sombra. Suddenly, she saw a blue snake like creature squirming around the statue. Sofia got mad. “Not on my watch!” Sofia rushed over to the statue and grabbed the creature. It transformed into it’s true form. “So,” Sofia said to herself out loud, “now I have the letter S.” She places the S in her bag, and moved along. As Sofia passed the library, she heard a nasty disturbance. Concerned, she goes into the library where the librarian, Amethyst Manesbury, spotted her. “Princess Sofia!” Miss Manesbury called out. “I need your help!” “What’s wrong?” Sofia asked. “There’s a red hammer shaped creature causing a disturbance around here. Many ponies are getting upset about this.” Sofia saw the creature hopping on a pile of books. Quietly, she creeps up to it. Then, Sofia grabs the creature like a hammer. The creature magically changed. The librarian was surprised. “Oh my!” Miss Manesbury said. “That’s a letter T.” Sofia puts the T in her bag and turns to the librarian. “Now, the patrons can read in peace.” “Thank you, Princess Sofia.” Miss Manesbury said as she gave Sofia a sweet hug. “You’ll always be welcome here.” As Sofia left the library, she saw a yellow horseshoe shaped creature hugging the necks of various ponies. The ponies don’t like that. Sofia rushes over to help. Quickly, she grabbed the creature. One of the ponies, a red female with a yellow mane and tail saw the creature change. “That thing was a letter U? Unbelievable!” “Now, it won’t bother you ponies.” Sofia replied as she places the U in her bag. Suddenly, two royal guard ponies approached the young princess. “Princess Sofia,” one of the guards said, “we’d like you to come with us.” Minutes later, the two guards escorted Sofia through the Crystal Castle. Sofia was worried because the guards had placed shackles on her wrists. Soon, she was approached by Princess Cadence. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Princess Sofia.” Cadence said. “Princess Cadence,” Sofia wondered nervously, “why did your guards shackle me? I’m not evil.” “I’m sorry about this, Sofia. My guards have seen many visitors greatly nervous when approached. They felt it’s necessary to have certain visitors restrained so they don’t hurt themselves.” After the shackles were removed, Sofia follows Cadence to another room. “How can I help you?” Sofia wondered. Cadence answered Sofia’s question. “My baby, Flurry Heart, is being bothered by a little crimson colored creature. My husband, Shining Armor, is trying to stop the beast.” As Sofia and Cadence entered the room, they see Shining Armor trying to catch the creature as Baby Flurry Heart was feeling very upset. As Cadence comforted the baby, Sofia rushes over, and grabbed the beast. The beast magically transformed and Shining Armor watched in amazement. “Wow!” Shining Armor yelped. “That thing was a letter V.” “That’s right, Shining Armor.” Sofia said as she places the V in her bag. Flurry Heart soon smiled and Cadence was relieved. “Thank you for your help, Sofia.” Cadence said happily. “Now, Flurry Heart can take it easy for a while.” “Cadence is right.” Shining Armor added. “Say ‘hi’ to my sister, Twilight Sparkle, for me when you get a chance.” As Sofia exited the castle, Starlight Glimmer and her letter board appeared. “I thought you might show up.” Sofia said as she opened her bag. Starlight used her magic to move the letters R, S, T, U, and V from Sofia’s bag to the letter board. “You’re almost done, Sofia.” Starlight informed. “Let’s get to the train station. Your final stop is Ponyville.” Quest for Letters:Part 6Later, in Ponyville, Sofia was admiring the peace of the village while wondering what she should do. Suddenly, she hears an explosion, and got covered by confetti. “Where did this come from?” Sofia wondered with concern. Just then, a bright pink pony came from behind a house rolling a cannon with her. “Welcome to Ponyville, Sofia!” “Pinkie Pie!” Sofia chuckled. “I should’ve known it was you and your confetti cannon.” Pinkie hops to Sofia as the young princess brushes off the confetti. “Did I surprise you?” Pinkie asked. “Surprise?” Sofia yelped. “SHOCK is more like it. What’s with the shower of confetti?” “I thought I make your arrival festive as you search for the final four.” “Final four?” Sofia wondered. Pinkie giggled silently. “The final four letters of the alphabet. You know, W, X, Y, and Z. They’re scattered here in Ponyville.” After giving Pinkie a hug, Sofia started on her way. She passed a festive looking wagon when she heard a female voice yelling in there. That sounds like Trixie Lulamoon. Sofia thought. And, it sounds like she’s in trouble. Better see what the Great and Powerful Trixie is struggling with. Sofia looks in the wagon as Trixie shakes her head with worry. She soon looks at the princess of Enchantia. “Princess Sofia.” Trixie said with relief. “I’m very honored that you’re here.” “I heard you scream, Trixie.” Sofia replied. “Are you okay?” “Now, I am. Some pointed purple creature tried to mess up my wagon. But, I manage to trap it.” Sofia saw the creature in a cage. Trixie saw Sofia ready to open the cage. “Be careful.” Trixie warned. “That beast might jump at you.” Sofia opened the cage, and quickly grabbed the creature. The creature transformed into a letter of the alphabet. “That thing was a letter W?” Trixie asked. “Yes, it is.” Sofia answered. She places the W in the bag, and left the wagon. Sofia was soon met by a small white unicorn with a pink and purple main and tail. Sofia recognizes the little unicorn. “Hello, Sweetie Belle.” “Hi, Sofia.” Sweetie Belle replied. “I’m so glad to run into you. We of the Cutie Mark Crusaders need your help!” Sweetie Belle lead Sofia to the CMC’s clubhouse, which is near Sweet Apple Acres. They both enter the clubhouse where Sweetie Belle’s friends, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo, were waiting. “You’re back, Sweetie Belle.” Apple Bloom said with relief. Scootaloo saw Sweetie Belle’s companion. “Hey! You brought Princess Sofia with you.” “Sweetie Belle said you have a bit of trouble.” Sofia informed. She then saw a brown cross shaped critter. “And, I see the problem!” Sofia rushes over, and grabbed the creature. The Crusaders saw what that beast was. “That was a letter X?” Sweetie Belle yelped. “X marks the spot, all right.” Scootaloo added. Sofia puts the X in her bag, waved goodbye to the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and went on. Suddenly, the elegant Spoiled Rich came to meet her. “Princess Sofia.” Spoiled Rich said. “I’m happy to see you.” “You are?” Sofia said with concern. “You look worried. What’s wrong?” “Noble princess of Enchantia, follow me.” Sofia followed Spoiled Rich to her home. They see Diamond Tiara on a blanket, but she’s very upset. “Mother,” Diamond Tiara demanded, “when will I have my lunch in peace?” “Relax, my dear.” Spoiled Rich replied. “I brought Princess Sofia to help you with your problem.” Sofia walks up to the young pony. “What’s the matter, Diamond Tiara?” “I was just having lunch outside because it’s a lovely day,” Diamond explained, “But this yellow rabbit like creature keeps coming along to disturb me.” Suddenly, the creature Diamond Tiara talked about shows up to make a disturbance. Sofia readies herself. “I’ll handle this!” The creature leaps up. But, Sofia grabs it quickly. It instantly transforms. “Oh my goodness!” Diamond Tiara said as she sees what Sofia grabbed. “A letter Y.” Sofia puts the Y in the bag, and turns to the mother daughter team. “Now, you can eat peacefully.” “Thank you, Princess Sofia.” Spoiled Rich said. As Sofia walks off, another human girl approaches her. The girl has a golden dress and has blonde hair. Sofia recognizes the girl. “Amber! What brings you to Equestria?” The girl that appeared to be Sofia’s sister, Princess Amber, gave Sofia an unusual answer. “I’ve always lived here.” Sofia was surprised to hear that. The girl then transformed into a light blue changeling. She recognizes the mischievous critter. “Ocellus! You got me good.” Sofia giggled as she and Ocellus hugged each other. Ocellus then gave Sofia an explanation about her appearance. “I thought that might get your attention. We of the Young Six need your help.” Sofia and Ocellus went to the School of Friendship where Sandbar, Yona, Smolder, Gallus, and Silverstream were waiting. “We’re glad you’re here, Sofia.” Sandbar said. “We heard you’ve been rounding up alphabet letters.” “Yes, I have.” Sofia replied. “Then,” Smolder cheered, “I think we have what you’re looking for.” “Coral colored thing bother us.” Yona explained. “We caught it. It not escape!” Sofia walked over and saw the coral colored zigzag creature Yona was talking about. She picks it up, and it magically transformed into an alphabet letter. “Wow!” Silverstream said excitingly. “That’s a letter Z.” Gallus looks at it with interest. “The last letter of the alphabet.” Sofia proudly holds up the Z. “My quest is over.” Starlight soon comes out of the school with the letter board. “Good work, Sofia. You got them all.” Sofia opens her bag. Then, using her magic, Starlight brings the letters W, X, Y, and Z to the letter board. The class looked happily as Twilight teleported to greet Sofia. “Congratulations, Sofia.” Twilight announced. “You found all twenty six letters of the alphabet. Now, new students can learn their ABCs.” “Thank you, Twilight.” Sofia responded as she gives a polite curtsy. “How about we head to Canterlot? Then, I can take you back to Enchantia.” Sofia nodded as she and Twilight walked away as the Young Six watch with amazement. “Princess Sofia is one noble girl. Isn’t she?” Smolder said. “She sure is.” Sandbar replied. “I hope we see her again someday.” THE END Author's Note When I did my Equestria Girls/Disney Princess crossover, someone said that I didn’t include Sofia. Quest for Letters:Part 1At Canterlot Castle, Princess Luna paces back and forth with her sister, Princess Celestia, watching. “Luna,” Celestia said, “please be patient. She’ll be here.” “I hope so.” Luna replied. “This is one important mission for Twilight’s school.” One of the guards came into the throne room. “Princesses, our honored guest has arrived.” Celestia and Luna watch with anticipation. In walks a young human girl with brown hair and wearing a lavender dress. She stops in front of the alicorn princesses. “Princess Sofia of Enchantia.” Celestia greeted. “Welcome to Equestria.” Sofia curtsies to Celestia. “It is a pleasure to meet you, Princess Celestia. I was told you need help.” “Actually,” Luna informed, “Twilight Sparkle needs the help.” “The Princess of Friendship? Where is she?” Suddenly, Twilight appears with a large gray slab by her side. “Right here.” Sofia got surprised to see Twilight Sparkle. Soon, Starlight Glimmer pops out of nowhere. “Starlight Glimmer!” Sofia yelped. “I didn’t expect you to show up.” “We of Equestria are glad you’re here, Sofia.” Starlight said. “Twilight will explain your quest.” Twilight Sparkle tells Sofia an interesting story. “With new young students coming to our School of Friendship, I figured we would teach them some basic learning skills. One of which is learning the alphabet.” “But,” Starlight continued, “a nasty gremlin cast a magic spell and scattered all twenty six letters from this board all over Equestria.” Twilight then turned to the young princess. “This is where you come in, Sofia. With your adventurous spirit, you can probably find those letters.” Sofia thought about the mission. Then, gives the ponies her answer. “Twilight Sparkle, Starlight Glimmer, I’ll do it!” Happy to hear that, Twilight gives Sofia a bag and some instructions. “Once you grab a letter, it will change back to normal. You’ll find the letters A, B, C, D, and E here in Canterlot. Other ponies will help you along the way. Good luck.” Twilight and Starlight and their letter wall vanished. Stepping outside of the castle. Sofia prepares for her quest. “Well, here goes nothing.” As Sofia wanders the streets of Canterlot, she saw two guards grumbling. She zips over to see how she can help. “Something wrong?” Sofia asked. “There’s this green triangle creature causing trouble.” One guard explained. “We try to catch it.” The other guard continued. “But, it’s too wily.” Just then, all three saw the creature chirping wildly at passing ponies. Sofia crept up and, acting fast, she grabbed the creature. It then changed into it’s true form. “I found the letter A!” Sofia cheered. Soon, she placed the A into her bag. “Thank you, miss.” One of the guards said. Sofia gave the guards a polite curtsy, and continued her quest. She makes her way to the School for Gifted Unicorns where she saw some of them scatter. Sofia goes into the school and was greeted by Professor Bill Neigh. “Princess Sofia.” The professor said. “I was told you were coming. There’s a blue beast making trouble in my classroom.” “Lead on, Professor Neigh.” Sofia said with concern. Sofia and the Professor go into the room. They saw the blue beast hopping on his desk. The young princess approached the little creature. “That’s enough out of you!” She grabs the creature, and it transformed into an alphabet letter. Professor Neigh was shocked. “That thing was a letter B?” “That’s right.” Sofia answered as she places the B in her bag. Professor Neigh walks up to Sofia. “Thanks for your help, Sofia.” “You’re welcome.” Sofia replied. “Pardon me, sir. I have more letters to round up.” Sofia leaves the school as the professor waves goodbye. “Good luck, Princess Sofia.” She makes her way to Joe’s Donut Shop. As she enters, she sees something weird within the donuts. It’s round and yellow. “Excuse me, sir.” Sofia said politely to the light teal pony behind the counter. “Is that yellow donut tasty?” The pony looked at the yellow donut with confusion. As he was going to get it, the donut hopped out. But, Sofia grabbed it and it changed into it’s real form. “I knew it!” Sofia indicated. “The letter C!” She places the letter C into her bag. Gives the counter pony a polite farewell, and heads out. Sofia finds herself in front of Rarity’s clothing store in Canterlot, the Canterlot Carousel. Store manager, Sassy Saddles sees the young princess. “Princess Sofia.” Sassy greeted. “What brings you here to this establishment?” “Have you seen any strange critters around?” Sofia asked. “Well, I haven’t seen any...” Suddenly, from a pile of fabric, a purple creature popped out. Sassy got scared, but Sofia isn’t. Getting close, she grabbed the creature. It changed into a different object. “Oh my.” Sassy gasped. “Is that a letter D?” “That’s right.” Sofia answered as she places the D in her bag. Then, a fiery red bird pecked on the window of the store. Sofia comes out to see the bird. Thanks to the Amulet of Avalor, she was able to talk to the bird. “Philomena! This is a surprise!” “There’s a strange creature at the castle.” Philomena the Phoenix replied. “Celestia and Luna need help catching it.” “Lead on, Philomena. I’ll follow.” Philomena and Sofia made their way to Canterlot Castle. They made their way to the throne room where Celestia and Luna were waiting. “Sofia!” Celestia called out. “I see Philomena brought you to us.” “We sent her to find you,” Luna explained, ”because there’s a blue beast roaming about.” Philomena squawked and pointed with her wing to her cage. Sofia saw a blue critter growling near the cage. Creeping up quietly, she grabbed it and it changed into a different object. “Now, I have the letter E.” Sofia said as she places the letter in the bag. Suddenly, Starlight Glimmer and the gray board materialized. “Hi, Sofia.” Starlight greeted. “You found all the letters here in Canterlot.” “It wasn’t easy.” Sofia confesses. “But, I got them.” “That’s good. Just open the bag and I’ll put the letters on this board.” Sofia opened the bag. Then, Starlight used her magic to bring the five letters to the board. Everyone was very happy. “Twilight and I will keep an eye on you, Sofia.” Starlight informed. “There will be somepony waiting outside the castle to take you to your next locale.” Starlight and the board vanished. Celestia turned to the young princess from Enchantia. “Starlight is right, Sofia. You’re mission has just begun.”
Quest for Letters: Part 2Sofia walks outside of the castle where she sees a sky blue Pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail. “Rainbow Dash.” Sofia cheered. “Nice to see you.” “What’s up, Sofia?” Rainbow Dash replied. “Climb on. Next stop: Cloudsdale!” Sofia climbs on Rainbow’s back, and they fly up into the air. Soon, they reached a city on clouds as Sofia’s amulet turns white. Rainbow lands and Sofia jumps off. The daredevil pony got surprised. “Wow! Your amulet can do anything!” “I guess you’re right.” Sofia replied. “It even lets me float on these clouds. So, what’s going on here?” Rainbow Dash gives Sofia some information. “Starlight gave me the heads up on your letter search. I learned that the letters F, G, H, and I are spotted here in Cloudsdale. Good luck.” As Rainbow Dash leaves, Sofia prepares for her search. She was just walking along when she heard voices arguing. The voices belonged to Hoops, Dumbbell, and Score. They were the three Pegasi who used to cause trouble for Rainbow Dash. “Hey, fellas.” Sofia called out as she approached them. Hoops, the light brown Pegasus, saw her coming. “Princess Sofia! Never thought you would help us.” “I’m always ready to help others, despite their past. What’s the matter?” “This crazy critter came out of nowhere and started to jump all over us.” Score, the gray Pegasus, explained. All of a sudden, Dumbbell, the dark brown Pegasus, started to swat a strange red beast. Sofia saw what he was going after. She quickly grabbed the creature. And, it changed into an alphabet better. “A letter F?” Dumbbell blurted out. “That’s new.” Sofia places the F into the bag and headed out. Score waved goodbye. “Thanks for the help, Sofia!” Suddenly, Sofia hears commotion coming from a large stadium. Hoops approached the princess and explained about the stadium. “That’s the Cloudeseum. Sounds like there’s trouble. I’ll take you there.” Sofia got on his back and they took off for the Cloudeseum. Inside, the athletes we’re going after a skating green creature. Ms. Harshwinny, who makes decisions on sporting events, was getting annoyed. She saw Sofia and Hoops entering the Cloudeseum. “Princess Sofia!” Harshwinny called out. “This is unexpected.” “I heard there was trouble.” Sofia replied. The princess from Enchantia saw the green creature and rushed off to catch it. “Pardon me. I’ll be back.” The creature was skating away from the athletes, but Sofia hid out of sight. When the creature got close, she grabbed it quick. Harshwinny came along as the green creature changed into it’s real form. “My goodness.” Harshwinny said. “That’s a letter G.” “That’s right.” Sofia replied as she places the G in her bag. “And, that’s one more letter out of the way.” Sofia heads out of the Cloudeseum where Hoops is waiting. Harshwinny watched her leave. “Thank you, Princess Sofia.” Suddenly, Sofia sees some clouds coming out of a tall building. “What’s that place, Hoops?” Sofia asked. “That’s the Weather Factory.” Hoops answered. “Looks like something’s wrong.” “Probably another alphabet letter. Let’s go!” The two figures zipped over to the Weather Factory. Sofia approached the entrance when a light gray security guard pony called to her. “Are you Princess Sofia?” “That I am.” The young princess replied. “I was told you’re looking for animated alphabet letters. I think there’s one in here.” Sofia rushes into the factory. She sees a purple creature hopping on the controls. Acting swiftly, she sneaks up and grabbed the creature. The guard sees the creature transforms into it’s real self. “So, that beast turned out to be a letter H.” “That’s right.” Sofia replied as she places the H in her bag. “And now, this place is back to normal.” As she left the factory, she sees a yellow pegasus with a red and marigold mane and tail, and wearing a military uniform. She recognizes the Pegasus. “Captain Spitfire. This is a surprise.” Spitfire explains her reason for approaching the young princess. “I’ve been watching you rounding up the letters F, G, and H. We of the Wonderbolts can use your help.” Spitfire brought Sofia to Wonderbolt Headquarters. There, the Wonderbolts stand at attention. “Listen up!” Spitfire commanded. “Princess Sofia is brought here to collar that beast. She thinks it’s a letter of the alphabet.” “I heard of that.” Fleetfoot interrupted. “Those letters are for the School of Friendship. Right?” “That’s right.” Sofia answered. “Your leader told me that one of them is here.” Soarin’ Skies stepped forward. “Come with me, Miss Sofia.” Soarin’ lead Sofia to the mess hall. There, he explained the situation. “We were having a meal when this sky blue stick critter caused trouble.” “Go back to the others.” Sofia suggested. “I’ll handle it from here.” As Soarin’ left the mess hall, Sofia spotted what he was talking about. She saw a stick creature laying down on a plate. Probably tired from bouncing around. Sofia sneaked up to the critter. A minute later, she exits the mess hall with the Wonderbolts seeing her exit. “Did you find the critter?” Spitfire asked. “Yes, I did.” Sofia answered. “But, this is what it really is.” Sofia holds up the object. Misty Fly recognizes it. “Wow! That’s the letter I!” “That’s right.” Sofia replied. As she puts the I in the bag, Starlight and her letter board appeared. “Hi, Sofia. Time to get those letters back to the board.” Sofia opens her bag. Starlight uses her magic to transfer F, G, H, and I to the letter board with the other letters. “Somepony will be coming by to pick you up.” Starlight said. “See you later.” Starlight and the board vanished. Spitfire approached the princess. “You’ve been busy. Haven’t you, Sofia?” The young princess replied to Spitfire. “More than you think.”
Quest for Letters: Part 3Sofia was approached by a beautiful yellow Pegasus with a pink mane and tail. “Fluttershy!” Sofia yelped. “This is unexpected.” “Hello, Princess Sofia.” Fluttershy greeted. “Your next stop is Everfree Forest.” Sofia climbs on Fluttershy’s back as the Pegasus takes her away from Wonderbolt Headquarters. Spitfire watches on. “Good luck, Sofia.” Minutes later, Fluttershy and Sofia land in Everfree Forest. The nature lover explained to Sofia about the situation. “Starlight told me about what you’re doing. You’ll find the letters J, K, L, and M here.” “This forest is huge!” Sofia realized. “Don’t worry, Sofia. I have faith in you.” Fluttershy gives Sofia a gentle hug. “Happy hunting.” As Fluttershy leaves, Sofia hears a loud roar. It turns out to be a manticore, and it looks like it has a green hook shaped creature stuck on its wing. Sofia rushes over to calm the manticore. “Please calm down.” Sofia cooed. “I’ll help you.” “You?” The manticore growled. “How?” “Just stand still and I’ll get that hook off your wing.” Sofia made her way to the manticore’s wing and carefully removed the hook beast. The little critter changed into it’s real form. “I thought that thing was the letter J.” Sofia said. She soon puts the J into her bag. The manticore approached the young princess. “How can a human like you know what I’m saying or feeling?” “My amulet lets me talk to animals.” Sofia explained. Happy to have that creature off his wing, the manticore leaves. Suddenly, she heard a female voice call to her. “Princess Sofia, over here. I am very happy to see you, my dear.” The young princess of Enchantia sees who the voice belongs to. She sees a wise looking zebra and walks up to her. “Zecora!” Sofia yelped. “How can I help you?” “There’s a small blue beast roaming about. I need your help to get it out!” Zecora explained. Zecora leads Sofia inside her hut. The two figures saw who Sofia is talking about. A blue creature hops all over the place. Zecora was very upset. “With that creature around, I can’t have peace. What can we do to have it cease?” “Don’t worry, Zecora.” Sofia said. “I’ll handle this.” As the blue beast stops to rest, Sofia sneaks up and quickly grabs it. The beast changes into it’s true form. Zecora was shocked. “Oh my goodness. I must say. I never thought it was a letter K.” Sofia puts the K in the bag, and prepares to leave. “Your troubles are over, Zecora.” She gives the wise zebra a hug. “Bye.” Zecora waves goodbye as Sofia continues her quest. She crosses a bridge, then sees an ancient ruin. She recognizes it. “The Palace of the Two Sisters. This is where jealousy and anger transformed Princess Luna into Nightmare Moon.” As Sofia approached the castle, she heard a buzzing sound. She saw a lime green angled creature being chased by Flash Bees. Sofia took the creature and hid in a nearby bush. The bees fly away as Sofia holds on to the little critter. Suddenly, she felt the creature changing. She then saw what the beast was. “Wow!” Sofia yelped. “Those bees were chasing a letter L.” Sofia puts the L in her bag, and continued towards the castle. She went inside and looked around. “This place is huge.” Sofia said to herself. “Feels a little scary too.” She then finds herself at the throne room where Celestia and Luna used to sit. She was then approached by a yellow zigzag creature, which was scared. “Poor little critter.” Sofia cooed as she picked it up. “There’s nothing to be scared of.” Just then, the yellow changed into an object. Sofia saw what it was. “That critter was the letter M.” Sofia places the M in her bag. After exiting the castle, she was approached by Starlight Glimmer and her alphabet board. “Good work, Sofia.” Starlight cheered. The unicorn used her magic to remove the J, K, L, and M from Sofia’s bag and place them on her board. “There are twenty six letters in the alphabet.” Starlight informed. “And, you have gathered thirteen.” “Thirteen is half of twenty six. Right?” Sofia wondered. “That’s right. Hold on to me. We’re leaving this forest.” Using her magic, Starlight transported herself, her board, and Sofia out of the forest. They find themselves at a train station. “While I head back to the school,” Starlight said, “you’re taking a train ride.” “A train ride?” Sofia gasped. “Where?” “To Manehattan. See you later.” Starlight and her board vanished. Sofia wonders what will wait for her at her next destination.
Quest for Letters: Part 4Aboard the train, Sofia sits in a comfortable chair, next to a white unicorn with a blue mane and tail. “Thank you for riding with me, Rarity.” Sofia said. “You’re welcome, darling.” Rarity replied. “Besides, I have business in Manehattan anyway.” “What business?” “I’m heading for my newest store, Rarity for You, to prepare for a fashion event. As for your purpose, I heard from some friends of mine that the letters N, O, P, and Q were spotted.” The train stops at Maneway Station. The passengers disembark as Rarity turns to Sofia. “Good luck, Sofia. Finding four letters of the alphabet in this metropolis won’t be easy.” “I can handle it, Rarity.” Sofia assured. Just as Rarity leaves, one of the baggage handling ponies was being bothered by a zigzag like turquoise critter. Sofia rushes over and grabs the critter. It changes into another letter Sofia was looking for. “So, that beast was a letter N.” The handler said. “Thank you, miss.” “You’re welcome.” Sofia replied. She places the N in her bag, and heads out. Sofia soon saw the photography pony, Photo Finish, getting frustrated, and went over to help her. “Are you all right, Photo Finish?” Sofia asked. Photo turned, and saw the young princess. “Miss Sofia. I’m glad you’re here. I’m trying to get some good pictures of this city. But, this round red creature keeps getting in my way.” “Round and red. Hmm. Let’s find someplace for you to take a picture. But, I’ll be hiding to nab this creature.” Minutes later, Photo Finish has a good view of the Mare Statue. Sofia hid close by. Just then, a round red creature came to get in the picture again. But, Sofia quickly grabbed it, and Photo Finish saw the beast transform into a different object. “What?” Photo yelped. “That beast is a letter O?” “That’s right.” Sofia answered as she puts the O in her bag. “Now you can take pictures in peace. Bye.” Sofia heads out as Photo Finish bids her goodbye. “Farewell, Sofia. And, thank you.” As Sofia passes by the Manefare Hotel, she was approached by the distinguished Hoity Toity. The elegant pony approached the young princess. “Princess Sofia of Enchantia. I am so glad to see you.” “Hello, Mr. Hoity Toity.” Sofia replied as she curtsies to him. “How can I help you?” “Follow me. Into the hotel!” Sofia follows Hoity Toity into the hotel as he explains the situation. “The chefs in the kitchen are having a problem with preparing dishes for a grand event.” “How can I help?” Sofia asked. “I heard that you’re searching for letters of the alphabet all around Equestria. I think one of them is the trouble maker.” Entering the kitchen, Sofia sees the problem. One of the chefs struggles with what looks like a sky blue spoon like object. When the object started to look at the chef, he started to panic and dropped the critter. Sofia rushes over and grabbed it. The critter started glowing. A minute later, Sofia exited the kitchen with Hoity Toity waiting for her. “We’re you successful?” Hoity Toity asked. Sofia held up the object, and Hoity Toity recognized it. “Ah. That thing turned out to be a letter P.” “That right.” Sofia replied as she places the P in her bag. Just as Sofia left the hotel, she was approached by one of Rarity’s other friends, Coco Pummel. “I’m glad to find you, Sofia. Rarity needs you at her store.” “I heard of that store.” Sofia figured. “It’s called ‘Rarity for You’. Right?” “That’s right. Please, come with me. Hurry!” Sofia followed Coco to Rarity’s store. When they went inside, they see Rarity fussing with a round yellow creature. This beast occasionally sticks it’s tongue at her. “Sofia! I’m glad you’re here.” Rarity said with relief. “This beast just won’t leave me alone!” “I’ll handle this, Rarity.” Sofia assured. “Thank you, darling.” Sofia rushes to the rescue. Quickly, she grabbed the creature, and it magically changed into another alphabet letter. “Wow!” Coco yelped. “That was a letter Q.” Sofia places the Q in her bag and turns to the two ponies. “Now, your troubles are over.” “Thank you, Sofia.” Rarity said. Sofia and Rarity embraced each other in a hug, then the princess of Enchantia leaves. Outside the store, Sofia runs into Starlight Glimmer and her letter board. “Hello, Sofia.” Starlight greeted. “I figured you’d show up when I got all the letters in an area.” Sofia replied. Sofia opened her bag. Then, using her magic, Starlight brought the letters N, O, P, and Q to her letter board. She soon transported herself, her letter board, and Sofia back to Maneway Station. “I’ll never get used to that teleportation magic.” Sofia said. “You aren’t the only one who said that.” Starlight replied. “Anyway, next stop for you is the Crystal Empire.”
Quest for Letters: Part 5Aboard the train, Sofia was enjoying the ride. As is her traveling companion. This time, it was Applejack, the farmer pony. “Enjoying the train ride, Sofia?” Applejack asked. “Yes. Thank you for asking.” Sofia replied. “What’s your business at the Crystal Empire?” “None. I’m visiting my cousin, Braeburn, in Appleloosa, which is on the way to the Crystal Empire. Meanwhile, you have some letter catching over there.” “What am I going after this time?” “Princess Cadence sent a message that there were crazy critters spotted. These critters were said to look like the letters R, S, T, U, and V.” “Sounds like I have a lot of work to do.” Twenty minutes later, Sofia got off the train, and arrived at the Crystal Empire. Just as she arrived, she saw Starlight Glimmer’s friend, Sunburst, rush out in a panic. “Help! Help!” Sunburst yelled hysterically. “Creature in my workshop!” Sofia stopped Sunburst and tried to calm him down. “Relax, friend. I might be of help to you.” “Princess Sofia.” Sunburst said, realizing who’s talking to him. “Nice to meet you. You said you can help me?” “Lead me to your workshop, and we’ll solve this problem together.” Sofia and Sunburst made their way to his workshop. Inside, they see a magenta creature hopping around. “There’s the creature.” Sunburst explained. “It maybe small. But, it’s reckless.” Sofia saw the beast. “Don’t worry, Sunburst. I can handle this.” Quietly, Sofia snuck up to the creature. Then, she quickly grabbed it. The beast changed into an alphabet letter. Sunburst was astounded. “Amazing. That beast became a letter R.” Sofia puts the R in her bag. And, turns to Sunburst. “I have to go. I have more letters to find.” “Oh.” Sunburst realized. “This mission Starlight told me about. She talked to me before it began. Well, good luck.” Sofia politely bowed, and exited the workshop. While walking along the streets, Sofia came up to a statue of Spike, Twilight Sparkle’s dragon friend. I was told Spike is somewhat of a hero here in the Crystal Empire. Sofia thought. He helped bring the Crystal Heart to the castle to defeat King Sombra. Suddenly, she saw a blue snake like creature squirming around the statue. Sofia got mad. “Not on my watch!” Sofia rushed over to the statue and grabbed the creature. It transformed into it’s true form. “So,” Sofia said to herself out loud, “now I have the letter S.” She places the S in her bag, and moved along. As Sofia passed the library, she heard a nasty disturbance. Concerned, she goes into the library where the librarian, Amethyst Manesbury, spotted her. “Princess Sofia!” Miss Manesbury called out. “I need your help!” “What’s wrong?” Sofia asked. “There’s a red hammer shaped creature causing a disturbance around here. Many ponies are getting upset about this.” Sofia saw the creature hopping on a pile of books. Quietly, she creeps up to it. Then, Sofia grabs the creature like a hammer. The creature magically changed. The librarian was surprised. “Oh my!” Miss Manesbury said. “That’s a letter T.” Sofia puts the T in her bag and turns to the librarian. “Now, the patrons can read in peace.” “Thank you, Princess Sofia.” Miss Manesbury said as she gave Sofia a sweet hug. “You’ll always be welcome here.” As Sofia left the library, she saw a yellow horseshoe shaped creature hugging the necks of various ponies. The ponies don’t like that. Sofia rushes over to help. Quickly, she grabbed the creature. One of the ponies, a red female with a yellow mane and tail saw the creature change. “That thing was a letter U? Unbelievable!” “Now, it won’t bother you ponies.” Sofia replied as she places the U in her bag. Suddenly, two royal guard ponies approached the young princess. “Princess Sofia,” one of the guards said, “we’d like you to come with us.” Minutes later, the two guards escorted Sofia through the Crystal Castle. Sofia was worried because the guards had placed shackles on her wrists. Soon, she was approached by Princess Cadence. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Princess Sofia.” Cadence said. “Princess Cadence,” Sofia wondered nervously, “why did your guards shackle me? I’m not evil.” “I’m sorry about this, Sofia. My guards have seen many visitors greatly nervous when approached. They felt it’s necessary to have certain visitors restrained so they don’t hurt themselves.” After the shackles were removed, Sofia follows Cadence to another room. “How can I help you?” Sofia wondered. Cadence answered Sofia’s question. “My baby, Flurry Heart, is being bothered by a little crimson colored creature. My husband, Shining Armor, is trying to stop the beast.” As Sofia and Cadence entered the room, they see Shining Armor trying to catch the creature as Baby Flurry Heart was feeling very upset. As Cadence comforted the baby, Sofia rushes over, and grabbed the beast. The beast magically transformed and Shining Armor watched in amazement. “Wow!” Shining Armor yelped. “That thing was a letter V.” “That’s right, Shining Armor.” Sofia said as she places the V in her bag. Flurry Heart soon smiled and Cadence was relieved. “Thank you for your help, Sofia.” Cadence said happily. “Now, Flurry Heart can take it easy for a while.” “Cadence is right.” Shining Armor added. “Say ‘hi’ to my sister, Twilight Sparkle, for me when you get a chance.” As Sofia exited the castle, Starlight Glimmer and her letter board appeared. “I thought you might show up.” Sofia said as she opened her bag. Starlight used her magic to move the letters R, S, T, U, and V from Sofia’s bag to the letter board. “You’re almost done, Sofia.” Starlight informed. “Let’s get to the train station. Your final stop is Ponyville.”
Quest for Letters:Part 6Later, in Ponyville, Sofia was admiring the peace of the village while wondering what she should do. Suddenly, she hears an explosion, and got covered by confetti. “Where did this come from?” Sofia wondered with concern. Just then, a bright pink pony came from behind a house rolling a cannon with her. “Welcome to Ponyville, Sofia!” “Pinkie Pie!” Sofia chuckled. “I should’ve known it was you and your confetti cannon.” Pinkie hops to Sofia as the young princess brushes off the confetti. “Did I surprise you?” Pinkie asked. “Surprise?” Sofia yelped. “SHOCK is more like it. What’s with the shower of confetti?” “I thought I make your arrival festive as you search for the final four.” “Final four?” Sofia wondered. Pinkie giggled silently. “The final four letters of the alphabet. You know, W, X, Y, and Z. They’re scattered here in Ponyville.” After giving Pinkie a hug, Sofia started on her way. She passed a festive looking wagon when she heard a female voice yelling in there. That sounds like Trixie Lulamoon. Sofia thought. And, it sounds like she’s in trouble. Better see what the Great and Powerful Trixie is struggling with. Sofia looks in the wagon as Trixie shakes her head with worry. She soon looks at the princess of Enchantia. “Princess Sofia.” Trixie said with relief. “I’m very honored that you’re here.” “I heard you scream, Trixie.” Sofia replied. “Are you okay?” “Now, I am. Some pointed purple creature tried to mess up my wagon. But, I manage to trap it.” Sofia saw the creature in a cage. Trixie saw Sofia ready to open the cage. “Be careful.” Trixie warned. “That beast might jump at you.” Sofia opened the cage, and quickly grabbed the creature. The creature transformed into a letter of the alphabet. “That thing was a letter W?” Trixie asked. “Yes, it is.” Sofia answered. She places the W in the bag, and left the wagon. Sofia was soon met by a small white unicorn with a pink and purple main and tail. Sofia recognizes the little unicorn. “Hello, Sweetie Belle.” “Hi, Sofia.” Sweetie Belle replied. “I’m so glad to run into you. We of the Cutie Mark Crusaders need your help!” Sweetie Belle lead Sofia to the CMC’s clubhouse, which is near Sweet Apple Acres. They both enter the clubhouse where Sweetie Belle’s friends, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo, were waiting. “You’re back, Sweetie Belle.” Apple Bloom said with relief. Scootaloo saw Sweetie Belle’s companion. “Hey! You brought Princess Sofia with you.” “Sweetie Belle said you have a bit of trouble.” Sofia informed. She then saw a brown cross shaped critter. “And, I see the problem!” Sofia rushes over, and grabbed the creature. The Crusaders saw what that beast was. “That was a letter X?” Sweetie Belle yelped. “X marks the spot, all right.” Scootaloo added. Sofia puts the X in her bag, waved goodbye to the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and went on. Suddenly, the elegant Spoiled Rich came to meet her. “Princess Sofia.” Spoiled Rich said. “I’m happy to see you.” “You are?” Sofia said with concern. “You look worried. What’s wrong?” “Noble princess of Enchantia, follow me.” Sofia followed Spoiled Rich to her home. They see Diamond Tiara on a blanket, but she’s very upset. “Mother,” Diamond Tiara demanded, “when will I have my lunch in peace?” “Relax, my dear.” Spoiled Rich replied. “I brought Princess Sofia to help you with your problem.” Sofia walks up to the young pony. “What’s the matter, Diamond Tiara?” “I was just having lunch outside because it’s a lovely day,” Diamond explained, “But this yellow rabbit like creature keeps coming along to disturb me.” Suddenly, the creature Diamond Tiara talked about shows up to make a disturbance. Sofia readies herself. “I’ll handle this!” The creature leaps up. But, Sofia grabs it quickly. It instantly transforms. “Oh my goodness!” Diamond Tiara said as she sees what Sofia grabbed. “A letter Y.” Sofia puts the Y in the bag, and turns to the mother daughter team. “Now, you can eat peacefully.” “Thank you, Princess Sofia.” Spoiled Rich said. As Sofia walks off, another human girl approaches her. The girl has a golden dress and has blonde hair. Sofia recognizes the girl. “Amber! What brings you to Equestria?” The girl that appeared to be Sofia’s sister, Princess Amber, gave Sofia an unusual answer. “I’ve always lived here.” Sofia was surprised to hear that. The girl then transformed into a light blue changeling. She recognizes the mischievous critter. “Ocellus! You got me good.” Sofia giggled as she and Ocellus hugged each other. Ocellus then gave Sofia an explanation about her appearance. “I thought that might get your attention. We of the Young Six need your help.” Sofia and Ocellus went to the School of Friendship where Sandbar, Yona, Smolder, Gallus, and Silverstream were waiting. “We’re glad you’re here, Sofia.” Sandbar said. “We heard you’ve been rounding up alphabet letters.” “Yes, I have.” Sofia replied. “Then,” Smolder cheered, “I think we have what you’re looking for.” “Coral colored thing bother us.” Yona explained. “We caught it. It not escape!” Sofia walked over and saw the coral colored zigzag creature Yona was talking about. She picks it up, and it magically transformed into an alphabet letter. “Wow!” Silverstream said excitingly. “That’s a letter Z.” Gallus looks at it with interest. “The last letter of the alphabet.” Sofia proudly holds up the Z. “My quest is over.” Starlight soon comes out of the school with the letter board. “Good work, Sofia. You got them all.” Sofia opens her bag. Then, using her magic, Starlight brings the letters W, X, Y, and Z to the letter board. The class looked happily as Twilight teleported to greet Sofia. “Congratulations, Sofia.” Twilight announced. “You found all twenty six letters of the alphabet. Now, new students can learn their ABCs.” “Thank you, Twilight.” Sofia responded as she gives a polite curtsy. “How about we head to Canterlot? Then, I can take you back to Enchantia.” Sofia nodded as she and Twilight walked away as the Young Six watch with amazement. “Princess Sofia is one noble girl. Isn’t she?” Smolder said. “She sure is.” Sandbar replied. “I hope we see her again someday.” THE END Author's Note When I did my Equestria Girls/Disney Princess crossover, someone said that I didn’t include Sofia. So, I made her the star of her own MLP crossover story. This is a tribute to the old computer game, “Donald’s Alphabet Chase.”
