This story was written for the Quill's and Sofa's Speedwriting Group's November 28 "Mind of a Child" contest. The prompt was 'Monster in the closet'.

Dinky Hooves has been struggling with sleep paralysis and nightmares for a week, keeping her and her mother up. Armed with new support and instructions, she fights for a full night's sleep for one final time.
