“Mmmmm,” a deep voice hummed, causing Leexo to slow. “Hey, mare…”
He winced, knowing who’d called him. Without a doubt, it was Tenzi. Scowling, he whipped around to face the hulking stallion. “I told you to stop calling me that?”
“Why?” Tenzi chuckled, looming over the diminutive stallion. “You look and sound like a mare. If it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, and looks like a...Well, you know the saying.”
Leexo lifted a hoof to protest, but thought better of it. Like it or not, his classmate was right. Among his fellow zebras, he was the odd stallion out. Not only was he markedly smaller and less assertive than his kin, but he’d been mistaken for a filly on a number of occasions. It wasn’t his fault for being born as he was, yet that never seemed to stop anypony and everypony from picking on him.
“So,” Tenzi continued, walking up behind him and casually slapping his cushiony rear, “what’s my favorite mare up to this afternoon?”
“I am not a mare!” Leexo bleated, turning and glaring up at the striped titan. “So would you please stop calling me that?”
The mammoth zebra didn’t flinch, slowly lowering his face towards the pint-sized stallion. “If that’s true, how many marefriends have you had?” Waiting patiently, seeing runt fidget uncomfortably, he smirked. “Just admit you’re a mare and be done with it. Trust me, you’ll feel much better.”
“Screw you,” Leexo pouted, wheeling around and leaving the bully in his tracks.
Thankfully, his classmate let him retreat unmolested - this time. Trotting through the village, keeping his eyes on the dusty earth, he sullenly made his way home. It wasn’t the harassment that bothered him, since he’d become accustomed to it over the years - no, his discontent was because Tenzi hadn’t been completely wrong. In nearly every way, he was a failure as a stallion.
Though he was already in his twenties, he’d never had much romantic luck. Part of the reason was likely because mares weren’t attracted to him, although that wasn’t the only issue. He’d never really been interested in dating; nothing about it appealed to him. Grumbling to himself, he marched into his hut, set his books down, and proceeded over to the large standing mirror behind his bathroom door.
His reflection peered back at him, the same as it ever was. Besides being remarkably short for one of his kind, his build was far from the norm. Where most stallions were heaped with slabs of well-toned muscle, his body had next to no definition. His legs were slender, his waist was slim, and his face was remarkably effeminate - heck, the biggest things about him were his thighs and his behind.

If it was his tormentor standing outside, he couldn’t fathom why the massive stallion had deemed fit to pay him a visit - after all, it wasn’t like they were friends. The big bastard was a begrudging acquaintance, at best, and had no real reason to swing by his place. Rolling his eyes, realizing he’d better see what the brute wanted, he trotted over to the entryway.
“Yeah?” Leexo grunted, cracking the door and squinting up at his guest.
“You ran away before I was done talking to you,” Tenzi responded, smiling down at him. “May I come in?”
The tiny stallion balked, caught off guard by the sudden request. “Why?”
Much to his shock, the stud’s shoulder’s slackened slightly. “Because I wanted to ask you something in private. I didn’t come to give you a hard time, I promise.”
With his curiosity piqued, Leexo considered his options. He couldn’t fathom what his classmate had come to talk to him about, which was peculiar in and of itself, but the stallion’s demeanor seemed strangely congenial. If there was even a remote chance that his acquaintance was trying to make amends, he’d hate to squander the opportunity. Stepping back and slowly pushing the door open, he bade his bade his guest to enter.
“So what did you want to ask?” he inquired, watching his visitor close the door.
“I just wanted to know if you’re really straight. I know a lot of stallions have teased you about it, but a lot of us are genuinely curious,” Tenzi explained. Seeing the pint-sized zebra scrunch his snout, he innocently held up a hoof. “That’s not necessarily a bad thing! I mean, if you were batting for the other team, I know several guys who’d be interested in you.”
“I...what?” Leexo coughed, unsure if he’d heard right.
“I’m serious! Believe it or not, a svelte little thing like you could turn a lot of heads - you know, if you wanted to,” the stud continued, inching closer to his host.
While he wasn’t sure exactly how to process what he was hearing, some part of him was interested in what his guest had to say. “What do you mean?”
“Don’t act like you haven’t noticed. Since you’ve been here, you’ve caught more than a few stallions’ eyes. Short, adorable, and with a rather generous behind - you’ve got a lot going on,” Tenzi chuckled, his gaze wandering to the femcolt’s rump. “Honestly, I wouldn’t be opposed to finding a cute little thing like you to wrap my foreleg around.”
Leexo was about to give a rebuttal - that was, until he noticed what hung between the stud’s hind legs. Long, dark as midnight, and impossibly long, it almost looked like a fifth leg. It wasn’t like he actively tried to peek at stallionhoods while out and about, but the sight was awe inspiring. Swallowing hard, subconsciously wondering just how big it would get, his attention didn’t go unnoticed.
“See,” the stud huffed, turning to the side and lifting one hind leg, “just thinking about it is enough to cause this.”

Even if he could pull off the look, nopony would take him seriously - would they? Distractedly mulling over the concept, he failed to notice his guest drawing nearer.
“So how about it,” Tenzi grunted, “you want me to take you out and show you a good time?”
“Look, I know this is just some kind of a joke. You’d probably just show me off to your friends for a laugh,” Leexo grumbled, shying away.
The stallion withdrew, if only slightly, as a wounded look crossed his face. “And ruin my chances to get frisky with such a cutie? Of course I wouldn’t!” he scoffed. “Listen, you can be honest with me. If you’re into big, strapping stallions, there’s nothing wrong with that! I wasn’t going to say anything, but I did catch you looking at my junk just a minute ago…”

Abandoning his studies, he left his comfy apartment and returned to the campus. After a brief stop at the cafe for a coffee and a scone, his trek to the library continued. “So…” he began, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck, “you were looking for me?”
“Yeah,” Tenzi churped, taking a step back. “Didn’t know if you were doing anything this afternoon. I still feel kind of bad about yesterday, so I thought I’d invite you over to my place to hang out.”
The femcolt knit his brow, considering his options. Truth be told, he didn’t have any plans for his evening. He was all caught up on his assignments, there weren’t any shows playing that he was interested in, and the fall days were perilously short. He guessed it couldn’t hurt to indulge the stud, since it may help them make amends or even lead to a friendship. Giving a small shrug, a timid smile split his muzzle.
“What time?” he asked.
“Come on over in an hour or so,” the hulking stud noted, passing his minuscule acquaintance a folded note. “Here’s the address. I’ll see you then!”
And just like that, Tenzi departed. Left to his own devices, still a bit uneasy about the prospect of going to visit the intimidating stallion, Leexo wasn’t sure how to feel. He prayed it wasn’t some elaborate scheme to harass him, making him wonder if he should even go at all, although he ultimately gathered his courage and headed out. If things did go poorly, at least he could say he’d given his classmate a chance.
His stroll to Tenzi’s apartment was short and uneventful, leaving him at the stallion’s abode in a matter of minutes. Taking a breath, holding it for a second, and slowly exhaling, he lifted a hoof and knocked. Though he had no reason to be that anxious, his apprehension got the better of him - at least it had, until the striped giant opened the door, spotted him, and beamed.
“Heck, I almost didn’t expect you to show up!” Tenzi laughed, stepping back and waving his guest inside. “Come on in, the pizza just got here!”
Leexo peeked his head in the doorway, wary of what may be awaiting him, but only found a regular living room inside. Creeping inside, he inspected the den’s interior. A large couch and coffee table took up most of the space, sports posters hung on the walls, and a kitchenette rested in the back. It was a relatively simple student’s apartment, but one odd thing did catch his eye.
An open cardboard box sat just beside the door, heaped with all manner of bright and excessively frilly garments. It was pretty clear that the articles had been tossed into the container with little care, seeing as how many were balled up or creased, which only deepened the mystery. Silently trying to figure out what they were and why his host had them, a chuckle caught his ear.
“In case you were wondering, they were my marefriend’s. Since she decided to dump me a month ago, and hasn’t come to get them, I guess she doesn’t want them back,” Tenzi explained, moving over to the box and plucking out a thong. “I was going to throw them out, but I figured I’d ask if you wanted them - you know, before you said you’re not into that sort of thing.”

As Leexo moved to the exit, eyeing the negligee one final time, he pursed his lips. He secretly wished to look through them and maybe - just maybe try something on. Thinking fast, he glanced back at the stud. “Mind if I donate these to charity?”
A sly grin crept across Tenzi’s face, hearing the request. “Leexo, how many times do we have to go over this, you have to be honest with me! I saw that you kept looking at the box while we were eating,” he tutted, solemnly shaking his head. “Like I said, I was going to give them to you, but only if you tell me what you really want them for.”
Be darned if Leexo could explain how his host had figured it out, yet he had all the same. Feeling his cheeks darken, he averted his gaze. “If you’re going to throw them out, I might as well take them ok?”
“I guess I can let you have them,” the stud grunted, rubbing his chin, “on one condition.”
“What’s the catch?” the femcolt groaned, rolling his eyes.
“Tomorrow night, I come over to your place and you model them for me. They should be in your size, or darn close to it, so I don’t want to hear any excuses,” Tenzi noted. “Don’t worry, it would stay just between us. I swear, I’d never tell another soul about it,” he added, holding a hoof over his broad chest.
The request, paired with the solemn vow to keep the entire affair a secret, pushed Leexo over the edge. “Why are you doing this? Do you really think I’m cute or something?”
“Yeah...Yeah I do,” Tenzi replied. “And I think you’d look absolutely drop dead gorgeous in a mini skirt and a bikini.”
The candid answer left Leexo stunned. He would have never assumed that somepony would openly admit to being attracted to him, let alone a hunk like Tenzi! It was an odd sensation, both embarrassing and flattering, and it left him speechless. Struggling to form a reply, he watched his host trot over, pick up the box, and pass it to him; as he reached for the parcel, it was lifted just beyond his reach.
“You gotta promise first,” the stud hummed, tauntingly lowering the box.
“Fine,” Leexo sighed, snatching the package from his grasp. “Just come over tomorrow night around eight.”
Blushing harder than ever, seeking to avoid any more embarrassing discussion, he saw himself out. The moment he stepped past the threshold and into the cool night air, something smacked his behind. Yelping in surprise, wheeling around to see what in the heck had happened, he saw his classmate smirking over at him.
“Don’t worry,” Tenzi chuckled, “I’ll definitely be there…” Shamelessly, almost brazenly, the muscular zebra’s gaze swept to his guest’s rump.
