Stepping off the plane, Chloe and her father André took their first steps in California, after switching planes several times to get to Los Angeles. Where their new life would start, after leaving their old life in France behind them. Finally fed up with the thankless work she does as a superhero in Paris, which she doesn’t even get paid for. Giving her no good reason to stay and protect the city, which she had already died 27 times already.

“It’s been years since I was last here,” Andre said leading Chloe to the baggage claim.

“You can look up some old friends,” Chloe said.

“My films are more of the art house film then main stream,” Andre said.

“Well with how Disney has been shipping out films and shows for very small audience that likes that stuff. You will fit in, nicely,” Chloe said. (1)

“I haven’t been around since Rome was still an empire but even I know how bad those films and shows are,” Demi said flying next to Chloe’s head.

“All I have to do is play my part in the show and not be like that actress in that Snow White Remake,” Chloe said.

“Why is she playing Snow White when the evil queen is prettier,” Demi asked.

“One of the few things that hasn’t changed since I was last here. Is that it’s often that people like that somehow end up playing a big part, because of who they know and what strings that they can pull,” Andre said.

“With you being my manager, I can avoid that kind of stuff,” Chloe said.

“I was very surprised in how you were able to handle reading the contact the company gave you in the branch office,” Andre said as they went to the offices near Disneyland Paris.

“My Nephilim form allowed me to read and understand everything during the negotiating,” Chloe said. Some of her forms she takes, give her a much clearer mindset and being able to understand things that her normal form can’t.

“Edna Mode has also made some arrangements with some associates of hers,” Andre said.

“I know making more spider silk and harpy feathers,” Chloe said.

After the fashion show, Chloe has been getting offers for the materials that she made for Ms. Mode to use to make her outfits for the show. The money is good and because of how much she could make in a single day, the price is always high thanks to the high demand. Letting her get lots of money for her and her dad, she wants to make it up to him for being a brat.

“I hope Gabriel likes the present you left for him,” Andre said.

“He has been asking for spider silk and harpy feathers,” Chloe said.

“I hope that the heroes be able to handle themselves without you,” Andre said.

“I kept on fighting and even when I gave my life to save them, they just still treated me the same. I never even heard a thank you from them. I died and they still treated me the same. Dying isn’t good enough for them to treat me differently, so I stop trying to change just for people who would never see me as anything else but as a bully, no matter what I do. But changing for you, is something that I can do and you’re worth it dad,” Chloe said. (2)

Paris, France -

Screams are heard as the new akuma is destroying much of the city, the heroes of Paris are being tossed around. Upon hearing that Chloe would be leaving the city with her father, Red Queen and Cheshire had been recruiting more heroes to help them fight Hawkmoth. But even with all the kwamis being used, they were still having their hands full in dealing with the latest villain.

“I hate to admit it but without Chloe….,” Red Queen said seeing the other heroes being knocked back.

“I know, but she’s not going to be coming back,” Cheshire said wishing that Hawkmoth didn’t continue to make the villains so overpowered to deal with Chloe.

1 - Many of the films and shows that Disney has been shipping out would be more at home in an art house film then a mega blockbuster. Especially seeing how much the tv shows and films cost to make which many haven’t made back the money spent on them.

2 - Don’t change to win approval to people who won’t change their views on you. Change for people who are worth changing for.
