The Ultimatrix Hero
Twilight's Ultimate Aliens Journal: Ultimate Riot-Horn
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThe scene once again opens up on the multi-coloured background, as the notebook appears to cover most of it. And once again, Twilight's voice calls out in voice over.
"It's Twilight's...ULTIMATE ALIENS JOURNAL!"
The background once again changes to a crayon doodle. This one shows an open savannah, looking like something one would see on safari. As the background settles, Chibi-Twilight swings in on a vine and lands next to the book. "Hello there," she tells the camera. "I'm Twilight Sparkle." In that moment, Chibi-Spike flies in on his own vine. "And this is my assistant-" Spike's vine snaps and he's sent off screen, as a crashing sound fills the air. "SPIKE!"
"Sorry!" Spike staggers back out, looking a little dizzy. He quickly shakes his head and smiles, as Twilight returns her attention to the camera.
"Welcome back, to my Ultimate Aliens Journal. Where I document all the new aliens Flash gets, when he uses the Ultimatrix in order to evolve them." Spike opens the book, once again showing the image of the Ultimatrix. "Here, we catalogue the powers and abilities of these new aliens and how they differ from Flash's base aliens."
Spike turns to Twilight. "So who's the alien getting the ultimate treatment this time?" Twilight smiles, as she uses her magic to flip to a page in the journal that showed the alien in question.
A brown humanoid rhino, wearing grey clothing and armor with his large fists covered in round boxing gloves. "This time, we'll be checking out the Ultimate Form of Flash's first muscle-headed alien. Ultimate Riot-Horn!"
The scene changes to show Riot-Horn hit the Ultimatrix, causing the transformation to occur. In seconds, he grew larger and was suddenly covered in green mechanical armor. "ULTIMATE RIOT-HORN!" He roars, as the tube-like horn on his nose fired a laser. The scene then changes to show Riot-Horn, the alien striking a pose as the camera spins around him.

"Ultimate Riot-Horn, is the Hyper Evolved version of Flash's Solarhino transformation. Hailing from the hostel planet known as Barrenora, solarhinos are a species of aliens that put brawn before brains. Their incredible strength allows them to lift objects that are several times their own weight without issue."
The scene changes to show Riot-Horn, lifting an elephant spider fusion over his head without trouble. It then changes to show him throwing a punch into the face of a long believed dead dinosaur, hitting it hard enough to send the beast down into a hole in the ground.
"His skin is incredibly thick, allowing him to take several hard hitting blows without suffering any serious damage. But his most impressive ability, revolves around his horn and the spikes on his body. These act as solar panels, which collect solar energy and store it up for later use." The camera changes to show Riot-Horn, his horn and shoulder spikes beginning to glow in the light of the sun. "Once charged up enough, Riot-Horn can use this energy to give him a power boost, increasing his strength for a limited amount of time."
It shows Riot-Horn, sending the energy from his spikes and horn into the rest of his body. It flows through his veins and causes them to swell, as the rings around his wrists begin to form orb-like coverings around his fists.
He let out a roar and unleashes a punch that is at least three times as powerful as he was before.
"Riot-Horn's solar collection power has no limit. Some believe that if he spends the entire day sunbathing, he could make himself strong enough to crack the entire planet in half with a single blow."
"Yikes," Chibi-Spike gulps. "I'm glad Flash can't stay alien that long. But I've seen Flash fight as Riot-Horn. He might be strong, but isn't he really slow?"
"Yup," Twilight nods. "If he's fighting a fast opponent, all his strength is useless since he couldn't use it on them. And since he's reliant on the sun to power himself up, he's not that useful on a cloudy day or when he's fighting at night."
"Does Ultimate Riot-Horn fix that?"
"Mostly, yes." They turn back to Ultimate Riot-Horn, as the scene changes to show the Ultimate Alien letting out a roar as he punches another Riot-Horn and sends him flying.
"Ultimate Riot-Horn's body has been sealed within a suit of robotic green armor. This suit grants him increased durability and gives him access to a bunch of different weapons." The scene shows Ultimate Riot-Horn, using his jack-hammer fists to punch his opponent several times without needing to move an inch.
It then shows him using his new metal horn, along with the tusks coming out from beneath his armpits. This was followed with him using the thrusters on his back, to propel himself forward or push away someone who was attacking him from behind.
"We're still unsure what powers this armor, but whatever it is has some serious juice to it. With the thrusters on his back and legs, he can propel himself forward at over thirty miles an hour and even allow him a limited amount of flight. Thanks to his new horn, he can fire a concentrated beam at an opponent that's a large distance away. Not to mention, his now mechanical muscles allow him to lift and punch with three times the power his base form has."
"That's awesome," Spike smirked as they stared at the drawing. "But wait. If his horn's mechanical and he doesn't have the shoulder spikes, how does he store up solar energy to power himself up?"
"That's one of the downsides of this new form. He no longer holds the power to store solar energy, meaning he can no longer increase his abilities. He's stuck at that one power level for the entire fight."
"Huh," Spike frowns, "that's kind of disappointing. Why give up such a great power?"
"Well," Twilight tells him, "it's not exactly a downgrade. With his power already and three times his base form's right from the start, he has the physical strength to fight at a level that would usually take him ten to fifteen minutes to charge up to. That means he might be able to end a fight sooner than he would if he had to wait to charge up."
"Huh," Spike nods, "that makes sense. And I guess with all those new upgrades, he can compensate for not being able to charge up anymore." Twilight nods, as they look back at the book and the scene changes.
It shows Ultimate Riot-Horn, fighting against XLR8 and having a hard time hitting him. "Not all of his weaknesses have been overcome, though. With his new heavy armor, Ultimate Riot-Horn is probably slower than his base form. And he needs to be careful where he is. With all that weight, he could end up breaking through a floor if it's not properly supported. And he'll probably sink in water if he doesn't use his thrusters. But all that aside, Ultimate Riot-Horn is incredibly powerful. Strong enough to defeat almost anyone in a battle of strength."
The scene changes to show Ultimate Riot-Horn, fighting against the bladed smugglers. He quickly punches one away before the others attack, slashing at him with their blades. But these do nothing against his armor and he manages to fight them off.
He then spins around and points his horn towards the camera, firing at it and blinding the camera with white light. And slowly, the light shifts into the flickering pages of the journal as it closes. Twilight and Spike stare at the journal, as the front of it closes and the pair turn to smile at the camera. "Ultimate Aliens are so amazing." Twilight waves at the camera, "hope to see you next time." Spike barks in agreement, as the scene cuts to black.
Author's Note
So we didn't get a new Ultimate this week. But we still got to take a look at the first Ultimate seen in this series, even if it wasn't the first one Flash used. Hope you enjoyed it.
