The scene once again opens up on the multi-coloured background, as the notebook appears to cover most of it. And once again, Twilight's voice calls out in voice over.

"It's Twilight's...ULTIMATE ALIENS JOURNAL!"

The background once again changes to a crayon doodle. This background shows a dark sky, with gray clouds shooting lightning out of them. As soon as it changes, Chibi-Twilight steps out from behind the book and waves to everyone. "Hello. I'm Twilight Sparkle." Moments later, Chibi-Spike leaps out from the other side of the book. "And this is my assistant, Spike."

"Sup," he smirks before running over to Twilight's side of the book and grabbing the cover in his teeth.

"Welcome back, to my Ultimate Aliens Journal. Where I document all the new aliens Flash gets, when he uses the Ultimatrix in order to evolve them." Spike opens the book, once again showing the image of the Ultimatrix. "Here, we catalogue the powers and abilities of these new aliens and how they differ from Flash's base aliens."

"Awesome!" Spike leaps up and down. "So who are we gonna look at today?"

Twilight smiles, as she uses her magic to open the book to show an orange and blue lizard alien. "Who better than the first Ultimate Alien Flash ever used. The electrifying and razor sharp, Ultimate Volt-Edge!"

The scene changes to show Volt-Edge hit the Ultimatrix, causing the transformation to occur. In seconds, he grew taller and bulkier with new armor that sparked with lightning. "ULTIMATE VOLT-EDGE!" He roared, as he unleashed the energy surging out of him. The scene then changes to show Volt-Edge, the alien striking a pose as the camera spins around him.

"Ultimate Volt-Edge, is the hyper evolved form of Flash's Serravoltian transformation. Serravoltians are armored lizards that can generate high voltage electrical blasts, which they use their metal armor and claws to control. They can even absorb energy in order to recharge themselves." The camera changes to show Volt-Edge, unleashing blasts of electricity to destroy Vilgax's robot drones. "Their claws can also cut through almost anything. And when they're charged with electricity, their cutting power is increased by even greater measures. But cutting and shocking, isn't all they can do."

The camera changes to show Volt-Edge, using his electricity to levitate a metal grate he's standing on. This allows him to float up above a bunch of Conductoid.

"Volt-Edge can also use his electrical energy to generate a magnetic field, which he can use to make any metal object float into the air." The scene changes to show Volt-Edge, flying over the city on a metal tray. It then changes to show him flying on a piece of Vilgax's exploding ship "With this ability, he can take to the air and fly anywhere he needs. Or use this ability to help him in combat."

Volt-Edge unleashes a bunch of lightning, which strikes a metal tanker and lifts it over Vilgax's head. It then rips the tanker open, spilling the fuel onto the alien before the lightning causes it to catch fire and explode.

The screen returns to the Chibi Twilight and Spike, with the dog letting out a whistle. "Talk about getting a shock to the system. So how does Ultimate Volt-Edge compare?"

"I'm glad you asked," Twilight smiles before the scene changes, to show Ultimate Volt-Edge against the remaining Negative Ten. He unleashes blades of lightning and whilst most of the crooks manage to dodge it, Viral tries to absorb it only to find herself hitting full capacity and overloading.

"Ultimate Volt-Edge's electrical power is even greater than that of his base form. Roughly three times the power. You could plug Ultimate Volt-Edge into the city's power grid and a single zap from him, could keep the city running comfortably for a month."

The scene then shows Volt-Edge launching the blades off his gauntlets, keeping them connected by a string of blue lightning that he can apparently control. It then shows him launching the spikes off his back, with the same electrical chords keeping them connected.

"Ultimate Volt-Edge can also launch his metal spikes and blades, keeping them connected to his body using a concentrated stream of lightning. This allows him to slash at his opponents from a distance, or place them in a trap by launching the blades and using them to channel the energy towards the opponent."

The scene changes to show Ultimate Volt-Edge, firing the spikes on his back towards the Negative Ten. The spikes all miss, but Volt-Edge then unleashes blasts of lightning between the electric chords that zap the opponent.

The scene then changes to show Ultimate Volt-Edge, unleashing a lightning chord that hits a car and lifts it into the air. It then shows him standing on two of his spikes, still connected to his back by his lightning and lifting him into the air.

"Ultimate Volt-Edge's electromagnetic abilities have also improved a great deal, allowing him to lift even greater objects whilst also making it so he doesn't need to find anything metal to use as a hoverboard."

The scene changes back to Chibi Twilight and Spike, as the dog scratches the back of his ear. "You said that Ultimate Aliens lose a power in exchange for a new one. So what did Ultimate Volt-Edge lose and get?"

"Good question," Twilight replies. "And the answer is he's gained increased electrical power. As I said, he's now three times as powerful. This upgrades all his other abilities, like his cutting ability as well as his electromagnetism. But Ultimate Volt-Edge can no longer absorb electrical energy from outside sources. He's completely reliant on his own electrical energy. If he uses too much power too quickly, he'll run out and have to wait for his body to generate more."

"Ouch," Spike flinches, "but with how much power he seems to have, I'm guessing it'd take a while before he runs out of juice."

The scene changes to show Ultimate Volt-Edge, using his electrical energy to zap the Negative Ten before swinging his claws around. As they swung past the camera, the scene changed to him flying above the jelly monster before firing his claws and spikes into the monster. They stabbed into the beast and electrocuted it, lightning flying off of it and hitting the camera.

The lightning completely covers the camera and slowly, it shifts to show the journal flickering closed. Twilight and Spike stare at the journal, as the front of it closes and the pair turn to smile at the camera. "Ultimate Aliens are so amazing." Twilight waves at the camera, "hope to see you next time." Spike barks in agreement, as the scene cuts to black.

Thus we learn all there is to know about Ultimate Volt-Edge. Now, who will the next Ultimate Alien be? Only time will tell.
