Time for the farmer kid to face her final Fibbage challenge.

July 18-Fibbage 4

It was a rainy day in Jackbox Village. But, as the afternoon rolls on, the rain stops, but the clouds remain. Apple Bloom ran into Derpy Hooves, who was given some time off from her summer job in the mail business.

"So, I hear that this Summer job you're in is going well." Apple Bloom praised.

"It is surprisingly." Derpy replied. "Some of the workers were a little concerned cause of a condition in one of my eyes. But, everybody was impressed with my skills."

"Maybe being in the mail business could be in your future."

"That's a good thought, Apple Bloom."

Soon, the two girls approached a farm house with some unusual animals. They saw a turtle with a goose's head and neck, a skull with a cat's paws, a monkey with a bird's beak, and five other weird creatures.

"What is this place?" Apple Bloom asked. "I've been to many farms. But, nothin' quite like this."

"This is the home of an unusual scientist named Professor Discord." Derby explained. "He always had a knack of creating new and fascinating animals. He chose this farm area for some peace and quiet."

Apple Bloom soon realized something. "I've seen these critters before. These are the animal icons of Fibbage 4."

"Excellent deduction." Said the voice of an old man.

Out steps a man with light gray skin, white hair and long beard, and wearing a lab coat.

"Hello, Apple Bloom." The man greeted. "I heard so much of you."

"Professor Discord, I presume?" Apple Bloom wondered.

"In person. You and your little friend have arrived at a good time. The play area is set, so the games can begin."

Apple Bloom realized that it's game time. She and Derpy entered the house. Derpy was surprised to see Bulk Biceps was there.

"What are you doing here, Bulk?" Derpy asked.

"I was asked by the professor for a game of Fibbage." Bulk replied.

Everybody sat at eight modified desks. After the rules were explained, Discord talked to one of the players. "Okay, Bulk Biceps. Pick a category."

Seeing all of the options, Bulk picked 'Wrestling'. "A subject I am good at."

"Really?" Discord said. "Let's find out. Legendary manager, Jimmy Hart, sang an entrance theme for ______________. Now, type in your lies."

Everyone started typing in their own answers. Apple Bloom has her own idea. As soon as everyone was done, nine possible answers appeared. The players all selected what they thought is the right answer.

"Okay, friends." Discord said. "What have you got?"

One of the answers was 'Three Minute Warning'. Derpy fooled one person with that one. Two people chose 'Honky Tonk Man'. That was Apple Bloom's entry.

"I thought I had that correct." One boy said.

"Jimmy Hart sang backing vocals, I believe." Apple Bloom replied. "But, Honky Tonk himself sang that."

The true answer was 'Strike Force'. Bulk Biceps answered that correctly. Discord made a comment. "This was before Rick Martel found his Arrogance."

Soon, Round 2 is upon the players with Derpy in the lead. Discord got everyone's attention. "Let's start Round 2 with a video clue. Watch and listen carefully.

The players watched a video of a blond girl talking to her mother.

"Big sis is staying with a friends of hers, mom." The girl said. "Her father is a medical professional."

"But, Annie." The mom wondered. "Won't Sarah have another panic attack?"

"Not to worry. My friend says that her father has an idea."

The video stopped as Discord spoke. "So, what did the father do to help Sarah? Give me your own answers."

The players thought about this video, then started typing answers. Nine possibilities were presented. Discord speaks to them. "Interesting, eh? Now, spot the truth."

After all selections were done, answers were shown. Bulk's response, Tranquilizer, fooled one person. Derpy's response, straps on bed, fooled another player. Although she didn't fool anybody, Apple Bloom guessed the right answer: Used a straitjacket. Another girl answered it right as well. "I saw this film. That's how I guessed right."

"That's good to know." Apple Bloom replied.

Later, the players heard Discord spoke again. "Derpy Hooves is doing well. But, Miss Bloom isn't far behind. Now, here's the final round where all points are tripled so anything is possible."

Here's my chance to catch up. Apple Bloom thought.

"There are two questions in this final round." Discord said. "A California surfer girl sued the beach last year because there were no warnings about _________. And, A well known Japanese restaurant has a dish made of ________ meat. Now, you will type an answer that might fit both questions. If players are fooled by your response in both scenarios, you'll get a bonus for a Double Deception. Now, let's go for it."

This was a chance for Apple Bloom to pull ahead and win. The responses were written, and all were selected, especially with ten possible answers to choose from. Discord is ready to show them the results. "Let's see how you did."

Many of the players were shocked at some of the answers. Apple Bloom's response, Shark, gave her a Double Deception bonus.

"Looks like somebody paid attention." Discord praised. "Excellent!"

This made Apple Bloom smile. Derpy and Bulk's guessed the right answer to the surfer question: Jellyfish. Apple Bloom got the right answer about the restaurant: Oxtail.

"Oxtail is very luxurious in those Japanese restaurants." Discord said. "And, that surfer girl probably thought that jellyfish was a Portuguese Man-of-war".

The final scores were shown. The winner was........Apple Bloom. Everybody clapped for her. Even Derpy, who was behind her by 200.

"Congratulations, Apple Bloom." Derpy praised.

"Congratulations indeed." Discord added. "I heard you played Fibbage 1, 2, and 3. Those games must've helped you at this point."

The farm girl blushed, knowing that everybody applauded her win. The players left the farm as Apple Bloom heads back to her summer home. "At last, the Fibbage challenge is over. Now, I can relax,"

Apple Bloom has tried all four Fibbage games. But, her adventures in Jackbox Village are not over yet.
