Meet Indigo Wave, the Broadcaster for Trottingham. Her job is to use telepathy to communicate with the Princess whenever anything goes wrong. And go wrong they do, as a series of monstrous attacks are unleashed on every town and city. Oddly enough, the monsters don't seem to react to any of their defence. The only ones that can beat them are the six ponies known universally as the Elements of Harmony.
They soon discover that somehow the Broadcaster's magic is involved with the attacks, so Indigo is swept up in the chase along with all the Broadcasters from across Equestria!
