When Rainbow Dash can't sleep, she gets officially banished to Canterlot, where Luna awaits her.
Celestia returns to the castle and talks with a guardsmare after spending some time with Luna.
As ponies prepare for another Summer Sun Celebration, Luna is asked to fulfill a promise she made during the Gala.

This was written for a writing group using the theme of "MLP Cliches". It was the perfect opportunity to write a parody or comedy, but I don;t really find cliches to be funny, so I wrote this. WARNING: this fic contains serious themes and is not intended for sensitive readers. It also has very little to no actual super-fun and no candy at all.
Cliches include: Rainbow Dash loses her wings, Scootabuse, tyrant Celestia, and Twilight is a drunkard among others.
Celestia returns to a place long abandoned to mourn a great loss.
