Made curious by what she recently heard about the two, Rainbow decides to inquire further into the actual nature of Sunset and Twilight's relationship. She gets her answers, though she's not quite sure it's what she wanted to hear.
On one seemingly peaceful evening, Twilight decides to pay Rarity a visit, meaning to chat with her and maybe ask about her thoughts on that book she lent her. Unfortunately, it appears she might have chosen the wrong time for her visit.
Stranded over the agonizing wasteland of a dying creation, their bodies slowly consumed by the existential decay surrounding them, four ponies prepare the stage for the dawn of a new era, digging graves for those who called themselves gods.
Twilight runs.
Never once in her life did Twilight Sparkle think she would one day regret asking a question, to her teacher nonetheless. Never once did she think she would one day wish to forget an answer. One "How many?" later, she wished she'd known better.

The day of Sombra's return is nearing. Twilight and Rarity are on a mission to Canterlot, and they can't find the problem. A mysterious force attempts to stop the purple alicorn. Also, Celestia is a spider, but that’s not particularly important.
It has been a long and peaceful period of cohabitation, but all things must come to an end, and the time has finally come for the alien race to leave the planet and resume their journey. And so, their friends gather for one last goodbye.
Celestia has plunged the World into eternal daylight. Luna is defeated, the Crystal Empire trapped, and communication impossible. So clearly, the Cutie Map calls Twilight and her friends to solve the problem. Its priorities turn out to be debatable.
Celestia thought she knew herself like the back of her hoof. An incident with a changeling revealing spell was about to make her deeply question that belief.
Twilight thinks that, clearly, the question calls for a long rant about why a certain porn story should be read. Twilight may have misinterpreted the situation.
Some things are best left hidden from the eyes of the public. But they need to exist, for the good of everyone. And that means there needs to be someone who knows about them. Someone there to do what is necessary.
Traditionally, in Equestria, the carpet matches the drapes. And when the drapes can't be matched, there's no carpet. Unfortunately, Celestia forgot to mention that detail to Twilight.
Twilight and Sunset have a brief talk, and the latter ends up learning about a little hobby the other has, something she'd never mentioned before. Coincidentally, she might know more about it than Twilight suspected.
Convincing Luna that he'd saved her had undoubtedly been one of Blueblood's greatest achievements, and now he was going to be rewarded for it by becoming her student. He had, unfortunately, failed to account for the alicorn's lack of teaching skills.
