Trixie is on a mission to save all the universes. Technically speaking, she's the only pony who knows about it. She's also the one who warned herself about the danger, and the one helping herself. And she's also the danger. She is also very confused.

Upon waking up one day and finding out that she'd become a spider, Celestia had reacted in a surprisingly calm manner, simply deciding to inform her subjects of the fact. Chrysalis, unfortunately, had not been among them. It disturbed her greatly.

Following her therapist's advice, Chrysalis decided to invite her parents to a reunion and finally talk to them. She may have confused the definition of inviting with that of abducting in the process.

Having managed to escape from her prison, Chrysalis decided to follow the advice one of Celestia's guards had given her and booked an appointment with a therapist.

It was supposed to be just a simple experiment. One that could potentially revolutionize their world if it went right, but not a particularly dangerous one. Everything should have gone smoothly. It wasn't supposed to go like it did. It wasn't.

To celebrate Nightmare Night, Ponyville's local group of country-saving friends decides to take a small trip to the forest, and once there each one of them gets to tell a story.

In order to become a better actress, both because it was something that could be useful to her and something she wanted to learn, Celestia bought a private lesson with the best instructor she could find. She was not expecting her to be who she was.
