Set after the ending of Luna’s banishment, Celestia and Luna slowly begin to find common ground again, but a clandestine grassroots gathering called the Midnight Ponies is giving call for Luna’s rise to true ruler of Equestria. While some begin to suspect Luna of treachery, others question whether she is being framed or if her centuries long banishment has only given rise to a more devious and secretive side to the Princess of Midnight.
Meanwhile, Twilight has discovered that the banishment of Luna did not play out as history describes, and that someone is manipulating events and everyone in a plan over a 1000 years in the making. The final pieces are falling into place and the mane six are caught up in a web of intrigue that could decide the fate of Equestria.
