Predator: A New Hunt

“Princess I am glad we have come to an agreement.” The dragon king said with a laugh.

“Yes king Raptor finally ponies and Dragons can live in complete peace.” She said with a smile.

Just as they were about to say something a young dragon burned through the entrance to the cave.

“Sir There is an emergency!” he yelled half hysteric.

“What is it young one?” King Raptor asked.

“I don’t know sir. Follow me I’ll show you.” He said.

And with that they ran outside and they were met by five dragon guards as well as some equestrian royal guards. After about five minutes of flying they made it to a small forest near the summit of the volcano. But no matter what they were not prepared for what they found there hanging upside down from some trees were four skinned dragons.

“AAAAaaaa” they heard and the guards raised their respective weapons.

“No, quickly drop your weapons!” Celestia yelled and her royal quads and Raptor dropped their sword and spears.

“Celestia what is this do you know what is happening?” Raptor asked as they all took a step back.

“A hunter.” She said making the dragons scoff.

“A hunter huh? Those are just myths! We’re the apex predators on this planet!” one of the dragon guards boasted.

“Ya it’s probably just some twisted assassin” another dragon said

they saw a white dragon run out of the foliage the dragon was covered in blood, scared, and clutched its spear tight and stood there in front of them.

“Please! You have to help its killing us!” He yelled

“Don’t worry sir we’ll get you out of here.” One of the guards said but before anyone could do anything a black spiny rope coiled around his waist.

“Help ME!” was all he saw able to say before the rope tightened and they saw the dragon be cut in half by the rope.

“Guards return to the carriage!” Celestia yelled

“Yes ma’am!” her guards yelled and flew off leaving her there with the dragons.

“Alright lets move up” the lead dragon guard said raising his sword.

“King Raptor I think it would be best if you left to.” Celestia said

“King Raptor I think it would be best if you left to.” Solar heard the tall equine say from his preach on a tree.

“Why is that?” the large lizard said.

“Because if this is an assassination attempt then it would be better if only one of us is here then the other could have time to prepare.” She said sternly receiving a nod from the big lizard who spared its wings and flew away. Solar then turned his attention back to the tall equine that matched his energy frequency and tilted his head clicking his mandibles and scanned her.

‘Strange, our genes match almost exactly the only difference being my yatuja DNA.’ Solar thought.

‘And it is a good thing I learned English from the scribe of the ancient texts.’ He continued

As they moved further in to the forest they became more and more agitated and more and more spaced out. But they could still see each other and when but the forest was just so thick. Then when one of the dragons turned their head it happened. they saw him hung by some kind of serrated razor wire and he struggled for air but the more he struggled the more the wire cut and soon it cut into his wind pipe and he went limp as blood oozed down his body and onto the ground.

“Hay um blade What is that?” one of the guards said to another and they all looked and they saw three red dots making a triangle on his chest.

“I don’t know?” he said and tried to wipe it of the dots stayed there and when he moved his hand away to the side to see if it was gone he was relieved to see it was but it had moved to his hand instead. But it quickly followed the contour of his arm and made its way to his forehead.

‘wish,wish,wish, zwooom’ was all they heard before a blue streak blew the pore dragons head to bits.

But that is when all hell broke loose before anyone had any idea what happened a loud thudding noise was heard and when they turned to look they saw nothing there but then they saw some kind of net fired at that another dragon sweeping him off of his feat and pinning him to a tree.

But then all of a sudden they all turned an when another dragon tried to pull the net off of his comrade it cut deep into his hands and it was getting tighter and tighter on the dragon inside and soon began cutting into his flesh making him scream out in pain and then it cut into his skull and he was silenced forever then the net diced to bits as it came flush agenized the tree.But then they swathe very dragon who tried to help bathed in a golden mist and lifted into the air. But when they turned to look at celestia they saw that her horn wasn’t glowing.

“AAaaa” they heard from the dragon they saw he had been thrown and speared through on a tree branch.

“Come out you coward!” the lead dragon yelled and he received a strange clicking sound in response that echoed thorough ought the forest.

“over heeeeeere.” They heard. And when celestia and himself turned there was nothing there.

“Over here! Over here.” they heard again the voice echoing and now the two of them are trembling.

“This way! This way.” The voice said moving farther into the forest.

“Come back here and fight coward!” the dragon yelled and ran deeper into the forest leaving celestia behind who quickly tried to catch up.

“AAAAAAgggggggggghh” heard and when she jumped over a bush she was met with a sight she never thought she would see again. There in front of her she saw a Hunter standing over the body of the saline dragon with its skull and spine in its hand. She just had to ask.

“Scarface?” she got no response the hunter just stood there as it put the skull on its back and turn to face her.

But instead of responding its eyes flashed a bright gold before dimming back down. Then it tilted its head to the side and crackled at her. But then the strangest thing happened in her mind an almost maternal urge that needed to be voiced.

“Don’t you crackle at me!” she yelled in the royal canterlot voice.

But then something unexpected happened it reached its hand up to one of the tubes on its mask and pulled it out with a hiss and she could see gas escape the hose for a second before it stopped. Then it pulled another tube and another on the other side of its mask. Then it reached up with both hands and with a click it detached the mask and put it on its shoulder. And she finally decided to get a good look at it and she saw that it had some striking differences from Scarface who she had only seen about 300 years prior so starting at the feet this hunter had rather large armored hooves instead of feet about as thick as her thy.

Then going up she saw that it wore an armored leather like skirt and. Going up she saw that it instead of the scale like skin it had a yellowish gray coat of fur. And upon seeing this alarm bells slowly started to go off in her head. Then going up she saw it had various weapons on it mostly bladed weapons until she saw its face and recognition instantly snapped in. she saw the shiny black beaded dread locks, the equine head stricture the equine mouth the long clicking mandibles but what got her instantly were the bright almost glowing magenta eyes, her eyes.

“S-solar?” she stuttered out in disbelief her son was back home and was alive!

“Hunting writes dictate that I have free rein on this planet. How do you know my name Equine.” She herd her son saw as two one and a half foot blades extended from his right gauntlet.

‘ether she is my mother or she has what the humans say ‘some pretty big balls?’ he thought

“I am your mother Solar.” She responded

“Prove it.” He said his right hand gaining a golden mist. And the blades on his other gauntlet extended. But he wasn't expecting her horn to glow the same gold aura that alone proved she was his mother it was something he learned from the Meta Yatuja that ‘No two beings in the universe ecsept mother and child have the same aura no matter how similar they are they won’t be the same. Not even your father has the same aura as you.’

“I guess it is true.” He said

“Finaly your home!” she cried in joy and galloped up and wrapped her fore hooves around him as best she could holding her son tight agenized her despite her only coming up to about the top of his chest with him being a hole two feet taller than her so she was basically pressing her face agenized the metal plates of his armor.

“And I can see you’re the same as your father.” She said commenting on the killings she had just witnessed.

“Come on son lets return to the castle. I will tell send a letter to the dragon king telling him that I have vanquished the threat.” She continued

“No you send the letter I must dispose of the bodies.” He said as he walked over to the tree with the diced dragon and took the net back despite him having more than one net he didn’t want to be careless.

“Please write the letter this won’t take long.” He said as he dragged another body and levitated another into a pile with the diced dragon bits.

“Very well Solar.” She said as she made a piece of paper and a quill appear and start writing the letter.

When she was done she saw her son standing over a pile of bodies with a  vial of glowing blue liquid of some kind in his hand.

“What is that Solar?” she asked when she finished the letter and she noticed in that time he had put his mask back on. she got no response but she saw him pore the liquid on the pile and it instantly dissolved the bodies into almost nothing but a black goop. And after closing it he put the vial back onto his belt. But she didn’t like having him so close to such dangers weapons but she then remembered whose son she was thinking about, and what species he was. she then teleported her guards that were at the dragon palace back to canterlot content with gowning back with her son.

“Let’s get going shall we?” she asked solar who turned his head and nodded.

“Follow me my ship is near here.” He said and he exited the forest followed by his mother and uncloaked his ship and they enterd and he locked in the position of canterlot and they took off and started their flight there in silence.

1 light year away.

“Elder we have detected a Dark blade Shuttle on a nearby planet.” a super predator said.

“Exhalent send. Ajax, Reaper, and Jackknife to deal with the problem and send some of our sterile xenomorphs with them.” The Super predator elder said.

“Right away Elder.” His subornat said

And about 10 minutes later he saw three pods detach from the mother ship and fly towards the location.

“If they cannot dispatch this one jungle hunter than they have no place in my clan.” he said with a laugh.
