Chapter One: Free

"You are now free. But are the rest of us?"

Black.

I was asleep, and all I could do was dream of me looking into a giant hole of darkness in my sleep. A bell soon began to ring then a loud noise of metal hitting metal began to ring my ears as I gazed into the darkness. I slowly opened my eyes to see me staring at my prison cell ceiling, it was of a dark brown moldish color same as the wall which encompassed my prison cell. The ringing of the bell soon stopped and the banging of metal soon stopped as well.

"Up and at it! We still have a lot of things to do stop the oppressive government of the tyrants."

Said a deep male voice from a far I recoginized it right away as the head security officer Idene Blitz an ex-war camp member like me who supposedly had his soul freed and now wants to work with the National Pony Liberation Party in taking down the true rulers of equestria Celestia and Luna.

I hopped up off the dark brown moldy floor in which I slept on with no pillows or covers and with slight tiredness in my voice let out a slow yawn, the smell of feces then picked up and with disgust I let a gross blargh sound, and looked down at my once beautiful field drab colored fur which was now riddled with dirt and large chunks of black coal, and my now darkend colored tawne mane soon dropped infront of my face in a flat down manner. I raised my filthy field drab hoof and began to push it back till it was relaxed back mane style, and the banging of metal soon began again and I started to hear hoof steps.

Idene deep voice then began to say

"When I pass by your cell I want you to say your I.D number.For today some of you are going to the re-education camp, and some of you are going to stay here and continue daily activities.".

I then at my rusty brown cell bars,and across from the dirty cell of mine was another cell with the exact same look as mine, but with a totally different pony in it that I'd never seen before in the camps.

The pony was laying down sleeping on the cell floor and had a sweet look on her face as she slept, the pony was a unicorn of sunglow yellow fur and amber long mane covering up much of her face, her cutie mark was of multicolored single diamond. I then began to hear more metal bangs and large shout of numbers of other ponies from down the long hallway that wasn't far from where my cell was.

I then dashed to my cell bars and began to whisper to the sunglow unicorn

"Hey miss get up Idene is coming.".

The sunglow yellow unicorn groaned and started to move left and right. Then the sound of banging metal got louder and so did the yelling of numbers by other locked up ponies inside the war camp.

"Come on get up or they will lock you in the wake room."

I said trying to get her up and not tip off Idene I was talking to another prisoner in the camp, but the sunglow unicorn started to move left and right again.

The yelling of numbers and banging of metal was now right next to my cell and my eyes began to open more then ever on how fast Idene got down to me even though he was just down the hallway talking to other ponies who were yelling out their numbers. I then slowly turned my head to my right to see Idene leave the pony in the cell next to me who was just now yelling out his number in a deep voice. Idene was dressed up in a new body type of armor suit that was the color of pure snow with aero blue trims on the helmet, upperbody, and back.

Idene was a black earth pony with scarlet colored eyes just like his mane which was hidden under his new snow colored helmet. Idene was always a smart and resourceful pony, teaching me how to survive inside the war camp ever since I arrived after being caught for not enlisting in the NPLP draft inside Vanhoover two years ago.

And now for me to look at my old friend who helped me two years ago, help the one's who put him in the war camp, sense he didn't sign up for the draft either. It was the trip he took a year ago that changed him and made him enlist for the NPLP and they just gave him his armor, and just gave him the head security job. Idene soon stopped walking in his armor which was making the metal hitting metal sound and he glared at me with his scarlet red eyes.

He then said in a smirky voice

"State your number prisoner."

I stared at him with my twane colored eyes and replied in a nasty voice

"You know my number already Idene.".

He then frowned at me and then said to me again,but in a stern voice

"State your number prisoner."

I then put my hooves on the rusty bars of my cell and yelled at him

"You know my number already ass hole! I mean we done this shit for an entire year. We stated are numbers for years now from morning to afternoon to night!".

He then reached his black right hoof up and pressed it against his helmet, and said in a nice calm voice

"Attention war camp command we have a un-responsive prisoner who may need to be in the wake.".

I then put my hooves down and took several step back and whispered under my breathe to him

"Prisoner - 73842".

He then stated to the command center communication in his helmet

"Hold on command he's being responsive."

He then said again in a nice calm voice

"State your number prisoner.".

I let a out a slow sigh and said in angry voice to him

"Prisoner - 73842"

And I glanced at him in the eyes. Once more he raised his hoof up and pressed it up against his helmet and said

"Never mind war camp command everything is fine, Looks like number 73842 was being unresponsive cause he was going to the re-education camp.".

My facial expression then dropped to one of displeasure at what he said, I then responded to him in a stern voice

"Don't call that trip a field trip,cause whatever goes on their am going to return just fine and not become like you.".

Idene then started to laugh at me and a mad look overtook him and he said to me in a frenzied voice

"When you get there, it's not like it's here in the camps. You aren't going to mine coal, move shit from place to place, create the small parts for the NPLP weaponry. No you are going to have your soul set free like me, and you are going to fight against the evil suppressive government!",

I then paused and took a slow gulp at what he said,the entire prison hall soon fell quiet.

He then lifted up his right hoof and pressed against his snow colored helmet and stated said aloud

"Prison Command I was unable to check all prison I.D numbers, but am sure you have all the one's going to the field trip. So would you please raise the bars.".

Slowly Idene backed away from my cage almost looking back to see the still sleeping sunglow unicorn in the other cage across from me, then my cage bars begin to raise upwards always like before when I was sent out to mine in the coal mines or went to the prison courtyard for some air.

I began to step out of my cell and the thought of just ramming myself into Idene and taking off running in the camps and trying to escape crossed my mind,but it would be useless considering that even if I knocked out Idene the head of security there are alot of NPLP security all over the place. The sound of other gates going upwards soon rang down the hallway, Idene glanced at me and yelled in a commanding voice

"All those who are going to the re-education camp take a step out and proceed to the open door and get on the bus on the outside of the camp.".

Outside my cell was a narrow path of dirt that lead to an giant steel door that was open and had a giant bright light coming out of it. Slowly other ponies from behind me and front of open cells came out all of whom had the facial expression of the damned, and looked as if they were starved even though the NPLP supplied us prisoners with food based on our work hours and percentage of work completion. Slowly I heard the banging of metal on metal to see Idene walk right up to me and whisper into my ears

"Sorry for the year of acting and everything I said to you, after you get on the bus something will happen and when it does...Run! This is your only time to escape."

I then looked at him with confusion.

"What?"

I said to him in a questionable manner but he signaled me to keep looking foward, infront of me was now a line of ponies of different colors and races some were pegasus and unicorns and earth ponies.We were all standing in a line ordered by our I.D number.

"Alright get going!"

Said Idene and we all slowly began to march in unison to the giant steel door that was wide open and radiating a bright amount of light, I took a sniff of the air as I approached it and the smell of feces vanished from my nostrals and the smell of burning fire and ashs filled them. Upon exiting the giant steel door and holding cell area I was left outside inside the courtyard it was early morning, and the grass in the courtyard was the color grey.

And no other war camp ponies were outside but us, and the courtyard was filled with several security members in the NPLP standing outside wearing same kind of armor as Idene who I lost sight of after we started marching. On the far side of the courtyard was another building that was poorly constructed of grey bricks which I when I first entered the war camp two years ago lead to the outside world.

All around me I started to feel uncomfortable as NPLP security forces inside the war camp started glaring at us as we marched across the courtyard from the holding cells with their fire arms around their shoulders and just glaring at us underneathe their snow colored body armor, most of NPLP war camp guards here were usually pegasi, but the group I was staring at were unicorns who had menacing stares in their eyes.

For what felt like hours of walking through the grey color grass in the courtyard and the NPLP staring at us with their firearms we finally reached the destroyed brick building. The doors were made of metal and two NPLP pegasi soliders with snow white armor with long slick black sub-machine guns around their shoulders held open the long metal doors revealing a long dark, grainy hallway that look as it it hasn't been cleaned in years. Carefully we started to march inside in the same line we exited from the holding cell area.

I took a look back and behind the pony behind me was Idene who had stopped at the exit we entered from smiling at me. We kept walkin through the filthy hallway taking in the smell of old dust, and the look of the nasty hallway scene around us. We soon arrived on the other side of the hallway with two other large metal doors that were shut.

"What is going?"

Said a male unicorn who was at the very front of the line,he was of a bright yellow color and his mane purple. A large bang then sounded from behind and the large metal doors we entered from shut from behind.

"Son of a bitch! They're going to kill us!"

Yelled a female pony somewhere in the far back of the line, I tensed up and began to shake. I then started to think that this was the only time I would be able to escape like Idene said. The war camp prisoners soon began to fall out of the line while I stayed in same place and they headed towards the large metal door on the far back of the filthy hallway and begin banging on it with their hooves.

They all began to scream for help and point at each other, and yell and swear that the NPLP couldn't get away with this, but they could we were in their part of Equestria, in their capital of Las Pegasus under their mercy. I felt a gentle tap behind me on my shoulder, I turned to see me staring at a beautiful amazon colored pegasus, with long curly ao colored mane, and a chisel and hammer cutie mark looking at me as if I was confused. She then opened her mouth and said in a gentle voice

"Are you okay?"

I then put on a shocked expression at her and how well she was taking it.

"Well...I...you I mean. How are you calm while being locked up in this disgusting hallway with these war prisoner ponies who are becoming more aggressive by the second?"

I said questionly to her while my body continued to shake in front of her. She smiled and replied in a calm manner

"It's no different then how were locked up in the holding cells."

I thought to myself on how she was telling the truth there was no difference except for the fact we were trapped with alot of ponies who probably lost their mind being in the war camp longer then me.

"That's a weird cutie mark you got their."

She said to me I then turned away from her, she was looking at my side the whole time I was lost in the thought. I then looked at my field drab fur and looked at my cutie mark which was a yellow compass and map.

"Well thank you...am very good at tracking and navigation."

I said to her while blushing and looking at the dity floor which I stood shaking. The voices of the group of war prisoners from the far back soon got louder with all of them yelling at each other. The amazon colored pegasus and I slowly looked back to see the ponies begin to ram the large metal doors in the far back.

Then a creek sound emerged from the large metal doors infront of me and the amazon colored pegasus, and the door swung open letting in a bright color of light within the hallway. Everypony within the hallway then fell silent. Then slowly entered a NPLP solider who had the same color as all the one's we all passed prevouisly, execept he was a unicorn with light blue coloring.

He then yelled at us, the war prsioners in a angry tone

"You are a bunch of savages! Unfit for service against the oppressors who bind you! But when we get to the re-education camp we are going to change that and set your soul free!".

I then froze and looked at the NPLP solider who had meancing green eyes and was staring directly at me. He then started to walk into the white light that was shining behind him within the large metal doors saying

"Security escort these savages onto the bus."

Soon several different NPLP ponies came in wearing their snow white armor which covered up most of their body and all of them having their fire weapons strapped to their sides. Angerly they instructed to us to fall back in line or they would open fire and we did, the amazon colored pony who I struck a nice conversation with was soon fell in line infront of me, unabling me to see her face or even talk to her.

"March!"

Yelled a NPLP solider but I couldn't identify which one out all the ones standing in the narrow hallway with their weapons and armor said it. Soon all the ponies in the line started marching towards the now open large metal doors that was shining a blinding bright light, slowly hoof after hoof we marched on cadence till we all went through the doors. I took a deep breathe inhaling the new airs of the outside world, it's been two years sense I was ever on the outside of the war camp and all am doing now is about to get on a transport bus to a re-education camp.

I looked around the outside of the war camp to see a giant nearly destroyed billboard with half of the full moon, half of the sun, marked out with a long strip of red and white long banner with giant blue lettering written on it saying

"National Pony Liberation Party fighting for the freedom, food, and pride of all pony kind."

I started to chuckle when looking at such a lie. I turned my head 45 degrees to the right to see a giant, large, mechanical bus that was the color black and silver with several earth pony NPLP guards standing near it and we were all marching towards it. While marching to the bus behind the amazon pegasi that I had a conversation with, I looked to my side at the wide open spread of dust and sand outside the camp and a clear open paved road that lead somewhere.

"Alright you little shit's get on!"

Yelled a females voice, then I started to hear hoof steps climbing up a short amount staris and I looked foward to the see the ponies who were in front of me climb aboard the metalic bus. I gulped as the amazon pony infront of me got on board and I was next, I paused and knew that whatever happend to me there wasn't going to be a no second chance unlike here in the war camp, at the re-education camp I knew if I didn't change I would be executed and if I did change I would come back here like Idene and ... I paused and the words Idene said to me came rushing back to my head.

"After you get on the bus something will happen and when it does...Run! This is your only time to escape."

I didn't know why but,I felt like that Idene talking to me out of the entire year he's been warden I felt like that was the real him again, and not only that but he had something planned for me. I then put my hooves on the cold mechanical steps of the bus with two earth pony NPLP guards staring at me both of them were much older then me I knew that, and they looked nearly identical even behind the snow colored armor of their's, both of them were of the color mango with light purple eyes that glowed brightly,and both were earth ponies.

I was cold when my hooves stepped on the hard metal of the mechanical bus, it smelled of exhaust fumes, and as I ascendid the stairs of the bus the seats in which we sat were broken and ripped, brown, dirty and had what I presumed as blood on it, luckly however some of the seats had leftovers of seat belts. I then felt a hoof press up from behind me and shove me downwards onto the amazon colored pegasus who I had a conversation talk with earlier with who was sitting on the first seat near the front on the right side.

I was then face to face with her, she was absolutely stunning even with her fur being dirty and her lovely long ao colored mane, but I was being distracted and I turned around to see one of the armored mango colored earth pony NPLP solider infront of me with the their gun at my face.

"Make my day you little shit! Being unloyal to your country and the true rulers of Equestria, all the ponies as a single party, instead of two ruling sisters who make the choices for us."

He said in a provoked voice at me. I kept quiet and sat myself up off the amazon colored pony and watched as several other war camp prisoners walked up the short stairs and sat down on the destroyed seats of the bus looking foward like I was. Then the light blue unicorn that told us that we were savages soon climbed on board next to the mango NPLP solider and whispered something to his ears and the mango NPLP solider started to grin with a malice look.

"Hey private it seems like we have a lot ponies on this bus don't you think?"

Said the light blue unicorn standing next to the mango colored earth pony in a smirky voice.

"You are right sir."

Replied the mango colored earth pony who was moving his hooves to grab the sub-machine gun around his shoulder.

"Take care of it."

Said the light blue unicorn. And in that second I reacted and grabbed the amazon colored pegasus which shocked her and I ducked. Gun fire soon shot throughout the bus with the scream of various ponies, for what felt like an hour the sub-machine gun from the NPLP solider let out a loud bang noise as the bullets flew from the barrel of the gun,and the cartridges fall to the bus floor.

Then there were nothing but click noises, to signify that the sub-machine gun was out bullets in it's magazine and that the mango colored NPLP stopped firing, I slowly took a glance up to see the light blue unicorn and mango colored earth pony both starting to laugh at their action as if it was some kind of joke. I then started to hear whimpering noises come from my side and it was the amazon colored pony who was frightened probably thinking she would have been shot if I didn't pull her downwards.

I sat back up and glanced behind me and I was horrified at what I was seeing. The war ponies in the far back of the bus were fallen over on the floor or window dead, their red crimson blood was leaking from the holes of their bodies made by the sub-machine gun bullets which penetrated various parts of their body and seats, some the blood was on the very back row was splattered on the cieling which probably meant the ones getting shot were moving around trying to dodge the gun fire and sprayed blood all across the ceiling.

The bus fell completely silent except with the laughter of the two NPLP soliders laughing at what they have done and not caring they ended a whole bunch of lives, the front half of the bus was now quiet and the all the ponies in front alive were now shivering, and ready to piss themselves if the NPLP soliders standing at the front would open fire again.

"Good work private. I'll make sure you are promoted on stopping a riot in the back of the bus."

Said the light blue unicorn in a smug voice still chuckling at the horrorid action the NPLP committed

"I heard gun fire and got more security anything wrong sir?"

Said another male voice, soon the other mango colored earth pony climbed up the short stairs with his sub-machine gun drawn.

"Oh nothing corporeal, just you brother here just stopped a bus riot."

Said the light blue unicorn lying to the other mango colored pony who was now staring at the dead bodies of innoncent ponies in the back of the bus. He dropped the black sub-machine gun from his hooves and put on a sickly expression as if he was going to vomit. Then the smell of feces started to go through the bus as the dead ponies in the back bodies just released their bowels.

"Do you want me to get more soliders to help get the bodies off the bus and we can get another bus."

Said the mango colored NPLP solider pony who just walked on the bus glaring down at his hooves and avoiding eye contact with his brother and the light blue unicorn.

"No. We will just transfer the remaining war prisoners like it is."

Said the light blue unicorn who was now walking past the mango colored pony to get off the bus.

"Now get to transporting and if any of them cause you trouble shoot them boys."

Said the voice of the light blue unicorn who was now completely off the bus.

"Understood!"

All of a sudden gunfire sounded off from the area outside the bus and I grabbed the shivering amazon pegasus next to me in the brown seat and ducked again.

"What the fuck is going on?"

Said the mango colored earth pony that shot the ponies in the back of the bus.

"We need to lock the bus and go to position."

Said one of the brothers who just walked on with a scared expression, but he proceeded to get off the bus through the door on the right. Bang a large explosion hit the right side of the bus sending it flyig over to it's left side and dirt from the ground broke through the glass hitting me and the amazon colored pegasus dead in the face. Blood soon splattered all over the right side of my face as we the bus hit the ground on it's side.

"Brother!"

Yelled the mango colored earth pony that went flying back to the driver seat on the now tipped over bus. The amazon colored pegasus to my side soon held on me as I held on to the edge of the seat with my hooves stopping us sending down to the ponies across from us who were no scrambling to get back in place.

"Don't you dare move!"

Yelled the mango colored earth pony in a frantic voice as he tried reaching for the black sub-machine gun to around his should with his hooves. Another large explosion soon sounded from all around the bus sending more dirt throw the windows and breaking them. I soon thought into my head that it was the Equestrian Government preforming an guerilla rescue operation on the war camp but that thought vanished as something hit dead onto the bus full force and sent it flying in the air and all the ponies on board rotating.

As we rotated in the air the amazon colored pegasus kept clinging onto me and down we went hitting the floor of the bus and dead pony bodies went above us landing in the front area. I looked at the amazon colored pegasus and told her to get up as the bus was completely upside down and the seats were on the now what I would call ceiling. I stood up and started to move towards the exit and looked behind me to see the still living war ponies starting to follow me and the amazon colored pony.

"Everyone sit down! Am still in-in-in charge of this bus!."

Yelled the mango colored earth pony in the snow colored armor now blocking my path pointing the black sub-machine gun at me with his hooves. We then started to back up away from him, but staying on the bus would be more dangerous then going outside were their was still explosions and gun fire sounding off.

"Get on the floor or I will shoot!"

He yelled and we all started to do what he was saying and started sitting on the upside down ceiling floor, but the amazon colored pegasus with the ao colored long mane didn't and continued to walk towards him and the exit.

"Can't you see we were just hit by something and we should all get out of here."

She said in a nice calm and clear voice to the mango colored pony as she got closer to him and starting to reach her right hoof on his black sub-machine gun which he was starting to lower. I couldn't believe what I was seeing she was getting through the sick fuck that just killed half of the ponies on the bus and acting like a total murder and had her cowering in fear. Then in a instant he raised the sub-machine gun up and struck her in the face with the end of it.

"I said get on the floor!"

He yelled to her and she went flying back to me on the floor looking at the mango colored earth NPLP pony.

"It's alright you can't talk to monsters."

I whispered to her but the mango colored earth pony must had heard what I said and he glanced at me with the same kind of eyes he killed the back of the bus with. He then trotted to me and yelled to me in a ballistic voice

"What did you just say you shit?".

I then began to back up on the floor away from him but he started to increase his pace towards me. The other war ponies behind me then began to block my backing path as they gathered in a small crowd of fear, the earth pony then got close to me and before I knew it was about to hit me with the end of the sub-machine gun like the amazon colored pony, I flinched and looked away from him closing my eyes.

A sound like thunder roared in the air and a liquid hit my face. I slowly opened my eyes to the mango earth pony fall over to the side with his armor and him making a loud metal clang, his blood slowly leaked out from the top part of his head and onto the floor of the bus. The sound of explosion and gun fire from outside the bus soon ceased.

"Enemy down! Rescue any captives."

Said a male radio chattered voice from outside. We all took a long pause and deep breathe as the doors on the side of the bus began to be pryed open as it was close after we got sent flying into the air. I held my breathe as I heard hooves grab onto the to the now open door and a grunt of male pony

"Equestrian resistance front."

Said a older serious male voice and entered a light brown earth pony with lime green spiked up hair holding up a long brown rifle with a huge scope on the top, he was wearing a black vest and pants.

"Come on we have only a few seconds before the war camp inside stops locking down and send more security force."

He said to us. Soon all the surviving ponies on the floor of the bus got up and hurried to the exit of bus and hopped up and to the outside world doing as the light brown earth pony said. I looked to my side to see the amazon colored pegasus get up and heads towards the door.

"Hey where are you going?"

I said to her questionly, she then turned to me and looked at me dead in the eyes with her ao colored eyes and said in a innonecent voice

"Am getting out of here this is my only time to escape the NPLP. Are you coming?"

I then paused at what she said and a shiver ran down my back and I got up and started following her and walking past the light brown earth pony wearing the black vest and pants, locking eyes with him. I didn't know why but I felt like I could trust him looking inside his lime green eyes just like the amazon colored pegasus.

When I reached the door I saw the amazon colored pegasus jump up and flap he wings to give her a boost to get out with ease. I put my hooves against the upside down wall of the bus and hopped up to reach the edge of the exit so I could climb out.

I then pulled myself up and rolled over front first out of the bus landing face first on the sand below. Great next to being filthy on my field drab fur and tawn colored mane am also sandy I thought to myself. I then looked up to see the war prisoner ponies being escorted by a group of ponies dressed just like the inside the bus. Then I looked infront of me looking at the amazon colored pegasus starting to walk to the group of ponies in a rush, I got up and began walking to them as well.

I couldn't hear what they were saying at first but as I got closer I started to hear shouting about the NPLP within the war camp just called in for more security and if we didn't get out of here we were going to get caught, the amazon colored pegasus was then talking to a purple female unicorn with violet curly mane having a long slender assassult rifle around her shoulder.

A lime green color then appeared in the cornor of my eye and I turned to see the light brown earth pony wearing the vest still carrying the rifle around him using it's black straps. I looked at him puzzled as him and me kept at the same pace approaching the purple unicorn and the amazon colored pegasus. The attention of the purple female unicorn then shifted off the amazon colored pegasus and onto us as we reached the both of them, she then said in a nervous voice and thick far western accent to the light brown pony

"Major Sgt.Gallant we need to leave we have reports of the war camp inside is about to send out the security force inside instead of waiting on the oncoming back up."

I looked at the light brown pony with the name Gallant who was lost in thought and looking directly past the amazon colored pegasus and the purple unicorn and at the war cam ponies who were now on their hooves next to the ponies in the black vest with weapons around their shoulders and the sun high in the Las Pegasus dessert shining down on them.

"We need to get these ponies out of here. Leave the mortars, and grab all the light equipment we can get."

He said in a stern voice, the purple unicorn next to the amazon colored pegasus saluted and dashed off kicking sand in the air to go tell the other black vested ponies carrying weaponry. The light brown pony then turned to me and said also in a stern voice

"You! You look like a natural born leader what's your name?"

I paused at what he had said and looked up into the bright blue sky with the sun and no clouds. The last pony to ask me my name was Idene back in the war camp which I was outside of. I then looked back at him and the amazon colored pegasus and replied

"My name is Vigor Hunt, Sir!".

He looked at me and shook head and smiled, and opened his mouth and said

"Good name son. I need you to go tell the war ponies to get ready and follow us were taking all of you to Eden." .

Eden I thought to myself, I then looked at him confused as he started to walk off. I wanted to say something to him but I didn't. I looked at the amazon colored pegasus who was giggling at me trying to cover it up with her left hoof.

"Vigor Hunt, Sir!"

I then smiled and then let the smile faded and remebered my task to go tell the war ponies that were laying down on the hot sand tired and stressed from the minute ago ordeal, and oncoming security forces from inside the war camp. A siren soon sounded from behind me causing me to jump into the air and dash to the war camp ponies laying down on the sand with the amazon colored pegasus right behind me.

The siren sounding was the sound of moblization of NPLP security forces within the camp, I then arrived at the war camp ponies and told them to follow the black vested ponies that were carrying bags and bags of stuff and dashing in a hurry to get away from the war camp and heading back to their base with the light brown earth pony infront of them all. The war ponies quickly got up and started to dash behind the black vested ponies and I followed with amazon colored pegasus behind me.

We all ran for felt like hours both the black vested ponies and us the ex-war camp ponies were tired and we didn't stop until the light brown pony who was leading us stopped just to sit down on the hot dusty sand as the sun poured down on us. I then watched the amazon colored pegasus flopped down onto the sandy ground below her exhaling large amounts of breathe tired from running. I then said to her mocking voice

"Tired already?".

She looked at me with exhaustion on her face and sweat dripping down. She then said in a tired voice

"Oh be quiet you.".

I started to laugh at her a little because this is the first time she didn't act calm, nice, innocent or anything. I then glanced at her still laughing while she put on a displeasured look. Hoof steps then started again and I looked up to see the war ponies and black vested ponies that rescued us get up off the sandy ground and began to run again.

"Oh come on."

I said under my tired breathe. The sound of the amazon pegasus getting up came from behind me.

"Come on Vigor safety not's that far."

She said while passing by me.

"How do you know?"

I asked her as she was now infront me.

"I just know."

She replied and started running. I stood in the sand as the breeze picked up and I took in the clean air blowing in the Las Pegasus dessert. That is one stange pony I thought to myself in the head and I don't even know her name yet. I soon noticed all the war ponies and the black vested ponies who call themselves the Equestrian Resistance Front were already far ahead of me, I then dashed off to try and catch up with them.

After about two more breaks and several more hours of running it was about night time when we reached the Equestrian Resistance Front base Eden it was a small constructed city with it's own radio tower in Las Pegasus dessert with it's own constructed brick walls that look like it could take some hits by NPLP soliders and their weaponry. I was instructed to follow the light brown pony as he took all the male war camp prisoners into a large shack in the small city and handed us blankets and pillows for us to sleep on and use.

He then later came back with a radio for us to listen to,but most of the radio channels were from the NPLP radio waves which talked about how weak the Equestrian Government was and how to be careful about their Honor Guards wondering about in the suppose proud cities of the NPLP.

Then the light brown earth pony named Gallant changed the station into what he called the Liberation Radio considering it was coming from a unkown source in the NPLP controlled Equestria and broadcasted the truth of what's going on in the war. The speaker on the radio had a clear and beautiful voice, he sounded old and yet young at the same time he spoke.

"Today a group of war camp ponies supposed to be transfered into a re-education camp via bus escaped to the surprise attack of the Equestrian Resistance Front within the Las Pegasus dessert.

Hopefully the ponies escaped and returned to their base. In retaliation the NPLP soliders attacked a small town north of Las Pegasus killing civilians claiming they were the one's who supported the escape of the war camp prisoners calling them high valued citizen targets, but this was not a response to equestrian insurgency. It was cold blooded murder and anger cause a light blue unicorn NPLP officer got what was coming to him and they wanted to frame someponies for it.

Whatever you do support the Equestrian Government and the rule of Luna and Celestia and do not forget the death of Princess Twilight so many years ago. And never give into the lies of the National Pony Liberation Party. "

I laid on my pillow turned to my side wrapped in my blanket next to the hooves of somepony already asleep as the radio went off and Gallant left the shack. I sat and stared outside the one glass window looking at the full moon from inside the shack thinking about my first time getting some nice sleep with a cover and pillow. Then the thought about the amazon colored pegasus crossed my mind I was now wondering how she was doing and what she was thinking right now, and soon the thought about me not even knowing her name or asking her name.

"Am an idoit."

I whispered to myself as my eyes began to become heavy. The thought of Idene then also crossed my thought as I was falling asleep.

"Did Idene set up my escape?"

I said also whispering under my breathe.

"I'll just have to find out tommorow when I got explore this small city, if they let me explore this city."

I said, then the darkness began to completely set in and I fell asleep.
