Alister was once Starswirl the Bearded's apprentice. After a failed experiment in to help win the war over the dark evil the endangers Equestria, Alister is turned into Al Sterling; a high school brony who leads a normal life. Because the experiment was a failure, he was wiped of all memories relating to his time in Equestria.When he is asked a question by his best friend, Dominic, it changes his whole world. When he wakes up in the middle of the night, he opens his bedroom door to see that he is standing on the outskirts of Ponyville. He meets many ponies along the way but evil approaches.
