He throws all his strength into his hooves as he gallops down the stone path as fast as he can. Tears streaming off his face as he turns down the dirt muddy path his home. He gives a shuddering sob as the words from the other ponies run through his mind. He had to find out that it is all lies or if..if...He shakes his head as his little hooves carry him onward. He can't think that, it was all lies. He pushes even harder down the path as his heart beats wildly with the adrenalin and emotions running through him right now. He barely notices that he passes under the wooden sign proclaim he just returned home.
'Welcome to Sweet Apple Acres'
"Little Mac! Where ya off ta in such... Little Mac?" His Aunt Bloom calls out but he pays her no mind.
The small tan colt pelts down the muddy path with his green mane and tail streaming behind him. His gut gives him the notion he needs to turn now, so he skids in the mud before taking off down a row of trees. He takes a quick look at them to decide they must be Hawley apples before looking on. His mind tells him it is nearing bucking season but he doesn't understand how he knows that. up ahead he sees his older cousin waving at him but does not say anything as he runs by her as fast as he can.
"Mac? Where ya going?" He hears her call out.
"Marigold, was that Belmac?"
"Yes ma, but he seem sad."
"Hmm...."
Belmac tries to force himself to run faster, to get to his father as fast as he could. His hooves are throwing chunks of mud up all around him as he tares down the wet path. His gut gives him another small jolt and he turns again to see a large red stallion lining himself up with a tree. Belmac's mind tells him it is a Golden Delicious Apple tree.
"Papa!" He yells as he continues down the path.
Mcintosh turns to see his son pelting down the path like the world was on fire and the he was the safest place. He shifts his wheat straw about his mouth as his son reaches him. He half expects him to jump at him for a hug when he is this distressed. what he got is something totally different. A hoof slam on his chest.
"Tell me the truth! She isn't my ma is she! She doesn't love me does she!" Belmac yells as he hits his father over and over. "Tell me ya weren't tell'en the truth to me! Tell me Ah am not loved! Tell me!"
"Lil' Mac!" Applajack calls out as she and her daughter trot over to the pair. "Why in Celestia's name would..."
"Ya know too! I have no ma! Ya just pretend so ya can laugh behind me!" Belmac yells at his Aunt.
Mcintosh looks down at his son as the straw switches sides again. He knows his son and right now he is not angry, that small green tail of his is shivering like the sun just disappeared. This is pure fear, one he cannot stop. He leans into his yoke and rubs a small gem on it.
"Azure was right...m-ma isn't my ma or she would be here more o-often. Ah am in-inbreed aren't ah? I am stupid, useless, unloved..."
"Ma...what is inbreed?" Marigold asks.
"Something that is not practiced in mah family. Lil' Mac...ya are very..."
"Lies!" Belmac screams at his Aunt as tears stream down his face.
"Lil Mac, ya know ma would never..." Marigold tries to defend her mother.
"Stop it! Why are you all telling me lies! Yall laugh at me when I am not looking! Yall never loves me! I am some joke to yall" The small colt screams.
"Belmac Apple!" Booms Mcintosh. "No pony here is laughing at ya. Apples stick..."
"LIES!" He screams again as he shifts his purple eyes to his father. "Apples stick together then where is my ma!?" He bounces a bit as he screams at Mcintosh. "She isn't here because she doesn't love me...because she isn't my ma!"
"Belmac..." Applejack tries again.
"No...stop it Auntie. Stop the lies."
"Belmac!" Mcintosh yells again
"No!"
"Stop yelling at Uncle Mac!" Marigold cries now.
"No! No! No! No!" Belmac repeats again and again.
He crumbles to the ground crying hard still screaming 'no' at everypony there. Mcintosh's eyelids slowly close as he watches his son. Applejack takes a step closer to her nephew with a very worried expression and Marigold looks ready to cry herself. But before anypony can do anything else a loud sizzling pop and purple smoke erupts right in the middle of the group. Twilight took one moment to scan the group, find her target, sweep her son up in her loving embrace and teleports out of there.
Twilight settles herself on her son's bed with him crying into her side. She sweeps a wing down over him to hold him close to herself. He keeps saying 'no' and 'lies' over and over again. Twilight's eyes fill with sadness as she watches him, knowing full well he will not calm down till either he cries it all out or...

Mcintosh trots into his son's room to see his family. He hears the room fill with his wife's sweet voice as she sings their son a lullaby. He moves over to the side of the bed as Twilight lifts up the wing so he could get to Belmac. Mcintosh nudges his son with his nose to get his attention and Belmac turns to see his father, latches onto his muzzle with both forelegs crying "I'm sorry...I'm sorry"

Twilight kisses her son on the nose as he rubs his eyes clear of tears. He drops down from his father cuddles in closer to her as she runs a wing tip along his body. Mcintosh lays down on the floor so his head can rest on the bed while he watches his son love his mother.
"There my little one. Know that I love you no matter how far apart I am from you." Twilight looks at Mcintosh. "Plus I got news for you both." She smiles at Mcintosh, who just raises a eyebrow.
"Wha is it Ma? I get a doggie?" Belmac jumps up in hopeful excitement, his worries all forgotten.
"Something better. Something bigger." She places a hoof on her belly as she looks at Mcintosh. "Something special."
