A Daring Girl
My eyes opened. I smelled a sweet scent in the air. Tall trees of green with long vines surrounded me. I could hear the sound of a river streaming. Where am I? I got up and walked in the north direction. I found a small wooden cabin next to a small stream. I walked up to the front door and knocked. No answer. I knocked again, the door slowly crept open. I took a peek in the cabin. I didn't see anyone there, so I entered the small house. I could smell a strong scent of... meat? I followed the scent to a small room. Then I blacked out. I awoke and found myself tied to a chair.
"You're awake!" said a voice from behind me.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"Who am I!?" exclaimed the voice. "The question is, who are YOU?"
A figure jumped in front of me. A girl about my age wearing a tan polo shirt with jeans and a brown safari hat.
"Um... I got lost in the forest and I found your cabin." I said.
"Well, what's your name?" asked the girl.
"My name's... Dreamer" I said.
"So Dreamer, how did you get lost in the first place?" she asked.
"I have no idea. I just woke up and found myself in the middle of no where. Could you help me get out?"
"Afraid not Dreamer. This jungle has a magic force field that can only be broken if the Crystal Stone is found." said the girl.
"Okay, so where is this Crystal Stone?" I asked.
"No idea! You wanna help me find it?" she asked.
"Well, nothing better to do so okay." I responded.
"My name is Daring Do, Expert Explorer!" said Daring.
'mrr muurrrm rmmmuumrr'
"Haha, well can we eat first? I'm kinda hungry." I chuckled.
