We've all seen them, the stoic guards posted at Celestia's side in her throne room, outside her study. Never a word they say about what they do for our great Princesses, just guarding, watching and serving. Vigilant has never paid them much mind, though he watched them almost as much as they watched him. He didn't spare a thought for the silent guards because of his own troubles. He was beginning to think his life was galloping hard for a dead-end. When the prospect of a change comes, he leaps at the chance. He probably should have looked first.
