Chapters “Hey! Get your head in the game kid,” Doughnut Joe shouted from behind the kitchen window.
You jump to back to your senses ready to take the next ponies order. Looking out through the crowed you notice the entire restaurant is starting to fill up rather quickly, but what do you expect at noon on a Monday.
“Of course sir,” you reply with the best smile you can muster. “Would you care for anything else today?”
“No,” he replies in his pompous attitude.
You didn’t care for any of these high class Canterlot snobs, and the way the high class mares flaunt themselves all over a stallion with a big account and mediocre sized prick. But what do you know about the ways of the high class? You’re just the only human in this godforsaken land of pastel ponies.
Let’s be reasonable, after living here for at least a year, you really wouldn’t mind taking a pony to bed, but enough about that for now there’s a lobby full of hungry individuals, you’d love to see them all starve.
“Come on Fleur, there must be some place you want to eat, ah look over there-“he says pointing a hoof in the direction of the restaurant. – “that looks like a quaint little place to eat.”
“Yes, but you know that the sugar and fat will go straight to my flanks and I have to look my best for the party Wednesday night. Also the fashion show is in a month or two so I must look my best,” Fleur argues.
Being the top model in all of Canterlot or even all of Equestria was hard on poor Fleur, having to keep up her image and stop eating all the desserts she so used to enjoy, but the price for beauty is a heavy one, knowing that some lonely stallion might be rubbing one off to an image of her in a magazine kind of disgusted her, but it also made her laugh a little.
Looking around the at the now empty lobby of the diner you breathe a little better knowing that the rest of the day will go relatively slow, turning around to walk back in the kitchen to chat with your boss you hear the door swing open, two unicorns, a stallion and a mare, stand at the door looking in at the menu that hangs just above you.
The stallion has a contempt look on his face with a blue like coat and a mustache; he also has on what looks like a pony version of the tux.
The mare is… is gorgeous, she has little confused look on her, probably about why is a good looking mare like her doing in a place like this . Her coat looks rose-white, her pink mane with white stripes hangs around her left eye and tucked behind her right ear. It complements her violate eyes that could turn any man to jelly. She was taller than your average mare around Canterlot so she had to important.
You don’t realize it but your mouth is agape and you can’t take your eyes of the mare; you have to find out her name. You blush a little as you come to attention on what you’re doing and clear you throat to greet them.
“We-welcome to Doughnut Joe’s,” you manage to stutter out.
“That’ll be 6 bits please,” you can’t take your eyes of the mare, her slim body and long legs just pull in your attention with too much ease.
The sound of the bits hitting the countertop yanks your attention away from the mare, grabbing them you set them in the register.
Grabbing the tray you hand it to the stallion, and you thank him for his service. They walk over to a booth, take a sit and begin to chat.
“What an interesting creature at the counter, I wonder what he is?” Fleur asks as she takes a bit of her hot doughnut.
“I really don’t have a clue, he looks like some sort of minotaur, but all hairless. I do know one thing though; he seemed to have his eyes on you. He practically couldn’t stop looking at you,” Fancy Pants eyes you from across the diner.
“Know why would I do-,” Fleur is cut off from her sentence as Fancy Pants continues.
“Just think, the top model in all of Equestria taking a mysterious creature to the party. You’ll be all the hype, the news will love it and you’ll have all the publicity anyone could ask for,” he now has his eyebrow cocked waiting for her answer.
Fleur thinks on it for a minute for a minute or two, taking small bites from the doughnut. She tosses a few glances at you eyeing you up and down. Getting out from the booth she stands and walks over to you with an unsure smile on her face.
“That’s what I thought,” Fancy mummers as he watches his client make her way to you.
Wiping the counter top you don’t notice the lovely unicorn walking towards you.
“Excuse me sir,” She says in a lovely voice.
You look around to make sure she’s talking to you. She giggles at you actions.
“Yes, I am talking to you,” a hint of the laugh still in her voice.
“I was just wandering exactly,-“you cut her off before she can finish. You’ve heard this question enough to know that this is how it always starts out.
“I’m a human, miss. The only one in all of Equestria,” you say with a smirk on your face.
“Oh, well thanks for clearing that up, but I was just going to ask if you would be so kind as to accompany me to a little get together I’m going to Wednesday night,” the smile she has right now is so intoxicating.
Once again you look around to make sure she still is talking you.
“Ah, I get it, it’s just another joke just like all the other mares around here,-” She looks surprised as you continue to talk. “-they all come in here and pretend to like me saying that there looking for something exotic to try, and when the time comes to go out they don’t show up and laugh at me the next day,” this happened all the time.
“N-no I really wanted you to come with me, but if you don’t want to that’s fine to,” She takes her leave back to her table and she puts more sway in her step as she goes back knowing that’ll you won’t look away. You can feel the heat radiating of your face seeing her flanks move up and down, she turns back around, now it’s her turn to have the smirk.
“I’ll take that as a yes you will,” she says with an adorable little laugh.
She takes a piece of paper and the pen in your pocket and begins to write something down. Levitating it over to you she places the pin and paper in your pocket and gives you a wink.
“Meet me at my place and we will take a carriage to the party,” she walks to the door meeting the stallion she came with.
“It’s Fleur, Fleur de lis,” she walks out the door.
Grabbing the paper in your pocket you open it up to find she left you her address, or someone else’s address.
“Hey boss I’m going to need Wednesday off,” you say pocking your head through the kitchen window.
“Whatever,” He replies, not caring at all; Wednesday was a slow day, and he can always call in someone else if he needs help.
Waking up the next day, the smell of freshly brewed coffee lingered in the air as the aroma seeped under your door from your neighbors’ apartment across from you.
Groggily getting out of bed you walk down the hallway from your bedroom and into your bathroom on the left side of the hall. The bathroom of course was crowded for your size, but honestly you really couldn’t complain. Actually that’s a damn lie; you could go all day complaining just on your bathroom alone, anyways, pulling down your costumed made boxers you relieve yourself of the golden flow that built up over night.
Making your way through the living room you open the door to the hallway outside your apartment. Knocking on the door of 221, a shuffling noise can be heard as someone comes to answer. As the door opens you see your neighbor and best friend in town, Earl Grey. His normal Curly white hair was a mangled mess, and his purplish-blue coat was stained with drool around his mouth. His cutie mark of course was a cup of coffee, and he really showed why, the mochas and lattes he could make were fantastic.
“I assume you want some,” he says in voice raspy voice; guess he hasn’t fully woken up yet.
“Ugh, fine. Hurry up and go grab a cup, we’ve haven’t got to talk in while anyways,” with a smile you rush back to your kitchen and grab a cup from the cabinet and head back across the hall. The two of you sit in mild silence as you both think about the day that a waits. The silence has gone on for too long and you decide to break it with the good news.
“Oh. And will this one turn out like the other five? With you walking home alone,” he says not fully paying attention.
You sit there for a second, gazing into your cup.
“No,” you say with a stern voice that knocks him out of his trance. “This one won’t be the same; I could feel it in my pants yesterday when see gave me her address.”
Wha- what does…,” he trails off for a second before realizing what you had said. “She gave you her address? Why would she do that?” his voice full of shock and surprise.
“I don’t know, because I’m so fucking awesome I guess. She said she wanted me to go with her to some kind of get together,” giving a slight nod, Earl gets up to re-fill his cup.
“Ok, well let’s see the piece of paper then hot shot,” Earl’s voice seemed full of disbelief.
Once again you walk back across the hall and into your bedroom. Rummaging through your dirty clothes and sheets that laid waste to your room, you search for the pants you were wearing yesterday in hopes that you had left Fleur’s address in the pocket. For five more minutes you search but to no avail, where did you put those pants?
“Fuck,” you sigh in defeat as you fall back on your bed, soon as you hit the mattress a piece of white paper flies up and lands back down on the sheet.
“How did you get there? Damn I must have been tired last night,” you mumble to yourself. Unfolding the paper you peek inside and find that it is Fleur’s address.
“I want to say that I recognize this address, I think I’ve catered there once or twice if I’m not mistaken,” he says pulling the paper closer to his eyes with his magic, as if the letters and numbers will pop out and remind him. “What was the name of the mare who gave you this?” His eyes still concentrated on the piece of paper.
“She said her name was Fleur de lis. She’s taller than your average mare, pink mane with white highlights in it,” as you continue to describe Fleur, Earl goes into his kitchen and gets his calendar off the wall.
“Is this her?” he hands you the calendar via magic, grabbing it; you see a side shot of Fleur on the beach looking out onto the sunset.
“Yeah, this is her,” you say mesmerized at how the sun shines off her face.
“Well, I must say you did a fine job at picking this one out. But with Fleur, there’s no such thing as a small get together, never with her, her manager Fancy Pants would never allow it. She only attends and hosts the highest of fashion parties throughout Equestria,” he throws back the rest of his coffee and sets the cup down on the mini table in front of you.
“So… do you remember every address you’ve ever catered at, because that’s kind of creepy if you do?” You place the calendar on the small table alongside his cup.
“Haha,” he gives a small chuckle at your question. “No, just the really pretty and unforgettable ones.”
“Wait, are we talking about the parties or girls?” You give a slight smirk.
“Why not both?” Sitting for a second in silence again you begin looking around his apartment, his clock read eight-thirty, so it was about time to start getting ready for work.
“I guess we’re going to skip work today and get you ready for the party tomorrow night, like getting you some nice clothes,” it was his turn to break the silence.
Wait, you can’t skip work. Not today, and neither can he, and plus you have all day tomorrow to get everything you needed done.
“Sounds good, I’ll go get ready and we’ll meet back outside your door in forty-five minutes,” he gives you a nod and an “alright”. After taking a shower and getting dressed you head back outside to meet Earl and start the day. He’s already standing beside his door as you exit.
“It’s about time,” he says in a sarcastic tone. “I thought you had slipped and fell or something of that nature,” You start walking down the stairs and out the building, thank god you only lived on the second floor. “Now the first thing we’re going to do is get that hair of yours cut, it looks trashy.”
“What!? My hair looks perfectly fine,” he gives a little scoff, but agrees to not drag you to a barber. You both decide that the first thing on the list is to go and get a suit tailored for you. It probably wasn’t going to be cheap, but on the other hand it wasn’t going to be that expensive either. After walking a couple of blocks down the street, you find the shop and head in.
“Please stand still while I take the measurement,” said the seamstress pony in a nasally voice, but honestly it wasn’t your fault, the measure tickled when she wrapped it around you, and another twenty minutes of this and you were going to scream. “Good, all I need now is your legs and crouch, and we shall be finished. A pink aurora covered the measure once again as it stretched the length of your leg. It slithers between both legs and measures your crouch; you’re able to hold back the giggles as she finishes up her ticklish work.
“Everything will be ready by tomorrow, come back around noon to pick up,” she says putting the measure away. Maybe it was a good idea that you came today.
“So how much is this going to be?” you ask nervously, worried of the answer.She ponders for second; humming to herself as she looks around the room and at the notes she took of you.
“I’ll say thirty-five bits,” she answers. That wasn’t as bad as you thought it was going to be.
“Damn good price,” Earl adds in. “Here, we’ll go ahead and pay in advance,” he brings out a pouch of bits and places them on the counter. “Consider this a ‘go get lucky’ present from me to you,” the seamstress eyes you curiously for a second.
“So this is for a date?” she asks.
“No, I was going to go hiking in these clothes,” you reply back in a smart-ass tone. Earl gives a light throaty chuckle and grabs the receipt from her.
Walking out onto the bright Canterlot streets, you look both ways in hopes of finding something to do now, out of your peripheral vision you see Earl still looking at your hair.
“For the last time bro, I’m not getting my hair cut,” he gives you pleading look.
“But it looks so trashy!” he looks up at you giving you the puppy dog face.
Brushing it off in a simple “nope”, the two of you begin heading towards the market district.
“You want to go bowling? We’ve done everything you’ve needed to get done, and we have the rest of the day to ourselves, I was actually thinking it would take longer than it did.” That sounded good.
“Sure, why not? I could go for some bowling, teach you ponies how we humans do it, and maybe get some lunch.”
Author's Note
This chapter is a little slow and boring, but like star wars taught us; we need these parts to help lead us to the good parts. Also Earl Grey is NOT an OC. He is a waiter who serves Rarity coffee at the beginning of Sweet and Elite, snacks during the song, and snacks again at the garden party.
Walking up the street to Fleur’s house, the setting sun that had once turned the sky into an orange sea dips below the hills as the day fades to night. All at once the lamps that lined the side walk flickered on and lite the way.
The suit was a perfect fit; the seamstress really knew what she was doing. You had picked it up at noon like she told you. You had also placed a shoe order in, and they too fit like a charm. So far this night was going good. If only you could find this damned address, a Garmin would be perfect right now; even a TomTom, or Google maps. You had gotten lost about twenty minutes ago when you gotten into the high class district. Asking for directions would be against the man code, and you’re a goddamned man, so no asking.
All the houses in this part of town had huge lawns with green grass and costumed built metal fences with initials on them. So all you had to do was find the one with and “F” and a “D”, or would she use and “L”? Pacing kind of slow, as to not sweat, you continue walking. Looking down at the paper reading it to yourself, you don’t notice the guard walking in the opposite direction.
Accidentally bumping into him, he falls on his rear, the light impact only made you stumble backwards.
“Sorry about that,” the guard says getting up and dusting himself off.
“No problem, I wasn’t paying attention, I was just trying to find this house,” he motions for the paper; giving it to him he reads the address and gives slight nod.
“So do you need any help?” He asks giving you the paper back.
“No, I can find it, I just have to be there by six-thirty,” with a little smile, he looks around for second.
“Alright, but you might want to hurry, the clock at the bank down the street says you’ve got twenty minutes before your late,” he bids you a good night and continues on his patrol.
“Oh,” he said grabbing your attention, “Take a right at the next corner and it’s the third house down,” damn. That doesn’t count as breaking the code.
“… Thanks,” like he said, you take a right; as soon as you do you see a carriage down the street.
You arrive at the house, and dear God it was beautiful. She had a metal gate with the initials “F” and “D” just like you thought. A concrete path ran up from the street to her house which was surrounded by lush green grass. The front yard looked to be half an acre, with a little tree on the left side of the path.
“Ah, hello ol’ chap, I was beginning to wonder when you would get here,” Fancy Pants steps out of the carriage and greets you. “I thought you were going to skip out on the poor girl.”
“Nah, I would never do that,” looking around you don’t see any sign of Fleur. “So, where is she?”
“She’s still getting ready. She loves to be fashionably late. Even when we were a couple she loved showing up last to get all the attention,” they were a couple?
“You had a thing with each other?” He looks up at the house to see if Fleur is coming.
“What happened?” By the look on his face, he doesn’t seem to mind the question.
“She wouldn’t put out for me,” you give a disgusted look. Chuckling, he continues. “No, I was just kidding, when she finds someone she likes; she tends to get a bit… clingy. After a while it just got old,” taking everything he just said, you both stand in silence for a minute.
“So, when you said you were just kidding about her not putting out; does that mean she did or you were just kidding about that being one of the reasons why you two broke up?” You didn’t really want to hear the answer to this question.
“Nonsense, I’m a gentlecot good sir. I would never try something like that in such a short time,” His answer is what you were looking for,
Quietly the fence opens up, Fleur steps through and gives a polite smile. She wasn’t wearing anything fashionable; she had put on a white pearl necklace and her eyelashes looked straightened to perfection.
“I hope I’m not interrupting an important conversation,” her voice was sweet and the little grin on her muzzle was out right gorgeous.
“Haha, of course not my dear,” Fancy laughs it off.
Opening the door for Fleur, she steps in the carriage. The peach perfume she wore was heaven to your nostrils. Fancy pants was next to get in. Once in, he motions for you to step in and nods to the driver that you were good to go.
As the bumps of the cobble stone rocked the carriage, the three of you sat in silence. That seems to happen a lot when you’re around. Always silence, you’d think someone would have a conversation starter.
“You know, I never got your name stranger,” Fancy Pants agrees to her question. “Actually I wouldn’t mind knowing a lot about you.” Her eyes stare into yours as she leans forward to look at you past Fancy.
“Well, I guess telling a little bit about myself wouldn’t hurt,” telling them your name, and how you arrived, nobody notices you have arrived at the party until the driver opens the door to let Fleur out. Stepping out after Fancy Pant, A giant building that resembles a museum stands high and mighty. Looking over you spot a sign which reads “Art Gallery grand opening.”
Walking in through the giant double doors, a recession desk is the first thing you spot. You also notice that the main lobby breaks off into four different directions for different types of art.
“The party gathering is this way,” As Fancy leads you three down one of the halls, you can feel the eyes of some of the ponies looking at you. Shacking it off you continue following Fleur’s nice Flanks.
The hall opened up to a catering room lined with tables. They had a buffet of salads and other assorted fruits and grasses across the room.
Fleur had the biggest smile on her face as she walked in, you could feel her bump against you, and noticed that see was in fact walking closer to you.
The two of you take a seat down at a table as Fancy goes off the chat with some of the other guests.
“You do rather clean up well for a doughnut dunker,” Fleur says scanning every inch of your body. Of course you don’t know what to say now.
“Thanks, and you look really good tonight too, for a poster pony,” Your little retort gets a cute giggle out of your date.
You can still feel eyes locking their gazes on you, pretending to stretch you take look around and see some of the ponies whispering to each other.
“Good evening, sir and madam, would you like some Champaign?” A waiter suddenly appears next to you.
“That sounds lovely, we’ll have the best you’ve got,” She says with a fake smile. He scribbles something down on his pad and walks off.
A deep sigh from Fleur catches your attention; she has a little frown now, but still looks rather good with it.
“It’s just that these parties are always boring, I always try to do something to get to paparazzi to focus on me, but I’m just so bored.”
That maybe explains a few things. The waiter puts two glasses on the table filled with the Champaign.
“Enjoy your drinks,” he gives a slight bow and backs away.
Fleur starts to sip on hers a little and sets it back down; you on the other throw it back like a shot of whiskey.
“Ah miss Fleur it is so good to see you again,” a light blue pony with big ass shades comes up to the table, her accent was like a German speaking in English.
“It’s good to see you too, Madam Finish,” her mood seemed to have perked up a little.
“And who is this creature, such beauty and style,” the pony puts her front hooves in your lap and inches her face closer to yours. You can feel her breath on your face.
“This is my date he’s-“ Fleur gets cut off as the pony interrupts her.
“I want him,” damn, she didn’t even buy you dinner first. “He shall be famous, we will work the magic,” with that she runs off. Wow that was weird. You give a Fleur a “What the fuck just took place” look.
“Uh, I’m just gonna go look at the art,” getting up Fleur stands up as well.
“I think I’ll go with you, I'm about to fall asleep,” the two of you walk out of the room and down random hall ways talking about anything that came to mind. It was actual really enjoyable. Fleur was still sipping on her drinks as you continued to walk.The rest of the night was really going uneventful until Fleur started to sip her drinks a little faster and faster until she had a little wobble to her walk.
Standing in front of a painting about to be unveiled, you and her stand in a small crowed, the pony yanks off the cover to reveal the work. Everyone stands in awe taking in the masterpiece.
“It’s a box,” you say blatantly. One of the ponies turns back to you.
“No it’s not, a statement to society that we need to let our thoughts run free,” this guy really wants to argue, you can tell by his voice.
“Bullshit, it’s a red box with blue lines coming out of it, I could go grab a sharpie and draw it better with my ass hole,” they seem taken back by your comment. Fleur bursts out laughing.
“Haha, yo-“ *hiccup* “your funny,” she’s pretty wasted. How much did she drink? The group of ponies give her some odd and concerned looks.
“I think it’s about time we took you home,” you start leading her out of the building back to the carriage. Maybe Fancy can find his own ride home.
Walking out of the building you spot a clock and see that it’s ten- twenty five. About three hours of drinking will intoxicate anybody most likely. So her situation is pretty understandable. Calling for the driver to bring around the carriage you continue to help Fleur keep her balance.
The driver hops down and opens the door for you two; you pick up Fleur and set her in with just enough room for you.
“If you could just take us to her house please,” he closes the door and a second latter you feel the carriage jerk to life.
Fleur puts her head in your lap and passes out instantly, paying no mind to the bumps and little jumps of the carriage once again created by the street. Unfortunately that didn’t last long, half way down the road she lifts her head and vomits in your lap.
You recoil in surprise which makes you smack your head on the roof. Moving her head off your lap, you take off your white undershirt you begin whipping off the vomit being sure no to get any on Fleur. As before you don’t notice the carriage stop again, the door opens and the driver gives a heavy sigh as he sees the mess.
“I’m sorry, I can-“he cuts you off by holding up a hoof.
“Just don’t worry, it happens a lot more than you’d think,” feeling bad; you pick up your passed out date and carry her up to her house. The pony pulls away and head down the street.
With barely any lights on in the house you have some trouble making it up the stairs to find her bedroom. Eventually you do and place her in the bed. Heading back down you find a sofa and grab an extra blanket and pillow, pulling off your ruined pants you lay back and relax. Thinking back on the night you smile to yourself.
"I guess it could have worse," You close your eyes and begin drifting to sleep. She won't mind if you stay over on the first date will she?
The bright morning sun leaked through the curtains of Fleur’s living room straight into your eyes. Turning over, you burry your face deep into the corner of the couch as best you can. You can feel the blanket rub and turn with your naked body as you do so. Wait, naked body?
Sliding your hand down under the blanket, you feel for your boxers that aren’t there anymore. Slowly opening your eyes, you take a look around in search for your clothes or someone else only to be met with an empty room. You hear a tune being hummed from inside the kitchen behind you, along with the smell of waffles being cooked. Wrapping the blanket around your waste, you quietly get up from the couch and head towards whoever it is.
Carefully cracking open the two way door, you peek through and see a little Earth pony. By her outfit she had on she was most likely a made of the house. Her red hair didn’t do much to compliment her charcoal coat. A little goofy on the colors, but whatever, you’re not porking her. She reaches for the milk on the green marble counter allowing you to see her cutie mark. It was a glass of Apple juice? That didn’t make much sense, since she was cooking. It’s probably an innuendo of sorts.
“Are you checking out my maid?” The sound of Fleur’s voice takes you by surprise. How did you not hear her come up from behind? Turning around, you grip the blanket so it doesn’t fall off.
“Uh… no, I was just looking for my clothes.” She raises an eyebrow and looks over your body.
“We’ll worry about those later. I’m hungry and I know you are too. Come on, let’s get some breakfast.” She leads you into the dining room, and heads toward her seat at the end of the table. You notice that another two way door separates the kitchen and this room, just like the living room, and kitchen.
Walking to your seat, you notice the table had pillows to sit on, not chairs. When you sat on your butt the table came level with your nose. Thinking for a second, you decide the best thing to do is get on your knees, at this point your eye level with Fleur with the table at chest height.
“Ms. Juice, is breakfast ready yet?” Her voice sounded a bit impatient.
The Earth pony brings two plates out on a serving cart. She pushed the cart with her hooves and stood up straight walking on her back legs. How did she do that?
“Yes mistress Fleur, it’s waffles and milk.” Using her mouth, she grabs the plates and sets them in front of you. Is that sanitary? She then excuses herself and heads back into the kitchen making a quick appearance and exit.
“I hate it when she calls me mistress, it makes me sound old and mean. Anyways, I wanted to apologize about last night, with getting a little too intoxicated and throwing up on you, which is why we’re having waffles. Normally I would have just a fruit salad.” Cutting up your waffle, and taking a bite, you nod as not to talk with your mouth full.
“It’s fine, but I would like to know where my boxers are, because this blanket is getting itchy.” Not to mention the draft.
“Oh, your ‘boxers’ had a little smell on them, so I asked Ms. Apple If she would take them to the cleaners along with the rest of your suit.” Well that was sweet of her.
“Thanks. So do you know when they’ll be ready, because I’ve got to go to work? I’m already late as it is and I’ve also missed two straight days.” Your ass is so fired.
“Why do you need your suit to go to work, you don’t wear it there do you?” Thinking about it, she had a point.
“I’m not sure, it just doesn’t feel right going to work without having them in my possession.” She gives you a queer look.
“Ms. Juice said they would be ready about four o’clock this afternoon, and seeing as it’s only ten in the morning, may I ask if you would like to spend a little time together today and forget work. Or, if you would like, I could call a carriage and have you driven home.” That’s a tough one. Do things with Fleur while naked, or go home.
“How about both, we could go back to my place so I can get some clothes, and then spend the day together, since last night was… well unexpectedly weird .” Chewing for a second, Fleur swallows her food before answering.
“I don’t know, I thought you looked good last night, but just a blanket is hot look for you,” not expecting that from her, a slight blush forms on your cheeks. She holds a hoof over her mouth to hold back the laugh, but doesn’t really work as a cute giggle escapes her lips.
“I’ll go get a shower and send Ms. Juice to get us a carriage.” As she walks past, you can’t help but drown your eyes with her body. Looking at every inch and delicate curve from head to hoof, you don’t notice her turn her head back and smile at the sight of you checking her out.
The kitchen door opens and out walks Ms. Juice, she takes a brief glance at you, but quickly looks away.
“So, what’s your name?” You ask trying to start small talk.
“Oh, it’s Apple Juice, I’m from Manehattan, and have family all over Equestria. My favorite little cousin lives in a small town not too far from here called Ponyville.” Wow, what the fuck. A simple question and you get her life story. Damn, imagine all the info she’d put on Facebook if she could.
“That’s… cool, I guess,” she smiles and trots back into the kitchen. Make a note to stay away from her.
The two of you rolled through the streets and headed down towards the middle class part of Canterlot. During the whole drive, only one question raced through your mind. Did you flush the toilet? The last thing you wanted is for her to think you’re a pig.
Pulling up to your apartment, you both get out and quickly head up the stairs for the second floor; maybe you should just go ahead and apologize in advance for the mess. Or you cannot, since you’re the one who saved her from being on the next cover of Play Colt magazine, so she can’t judge you.
Unlocking the door you step inside, the disgusted gasp you were expecting never came. She just stood outside the door and looked at you like she was waiting for something.
“What?” You ask her.
“Well, aren’t you going to invite me in? It’s very rude to let yourself in.” Asking Fleur to come inside, she politely accepts it. Telling her to sit on the couch and wait, you grab some clothes from your bedroom and step into the bathroom. Checking to see if you actually did flush the toilet, you open the lid and are relieved to see that you did.
After turning on the shower and waiting for the warm water, the thought that you might be rushing into things with Fleur with pops in your head. Ignoring it you step inside and begin cleaning yourself.
Washing to shampoo out of your hair, a knock at the bathroom door catches your attention.
“What is it?” You ask rinsing your head one more time.
“I’m sorry, but I really have to use the restroom, I know this may be awkward, but if you could, I really need to go. Please don’t think of me as un-lady like for this. And also, your neighbor won’t stop staring at me. ” Wait, how did Earl get in here? She probably let him in.
Allowing her to come in for some reason, she goes straight for the toilet, which sits really close to the shower. You can make out her outline, as she nears. This can’t be happening. A moment later a second knock is heard.
“Who is it? Earl is that you?” Well who else could it be?
“Yes, I just wanted to say you have a good looking mare in there with you, how many times did you guys take part in coitus?” Holy shit! Did he just ask that?
“What makes you ask that!?” How could this get worse? The sound of Fleur… doing her thing echoes throughout the bathroom.
“Well, you already invited her to your house. That’s a big step, so I figured you guys are moving fast, and already fornicated once, twice, or ten times.” You can’t tell, but you think you hear a laugh from Fleur. She does know not to flush the toilet right?
“Sir, it would appear you have mistaken me for a harlot, or a whorse if you’d prefer. We simply had to stop by due to some ill- fatted coincidence. And the same ill-fatted coincidence is what put us in this spot you found us in.” You really want to shake her hoof for that answer, but that would be rather wrong at a time like this.
“My apologies miss, I didn’t intend on insulting you.” How was that not intended as an insult? He just practically called her a slut.
“Listen, this is all great, but I need to dry off. So if both of you could just wait in the living room, that would be awesome.” The door opens and closes indicating that the bathroom is occupied by just you.
Stepping out now fully clothed, you walk into the living to get Fleur and leave.
“Your friend left, he said he would talk to you later.” Awesome, nothing can go wrong now.
Walking outside, you find the carriage is nowhere in sight. Looking up and down the street, you find no trace of it.
“Fuck.” Rubbing your hands through your hair, you take a deep sigh, and try to relax.
“Come on, follow me.” She gives you a hesitant look, but agrees.
“Where are you taking me?” Not wanting to spoil your idea, you play the quiet game for a couple of blocks until you reach your destination.
“Mini golf?” Fleur asks surprised.
“Yeah, what’s wrong?” You hope it’s nothing too important. You have to really fuck up for this game not to cheer you up.
“Well… it’s just that I haven’t played since I was a filly.” That’s a stupid excuse.
“So, it’ll be fun, I promise.” She follows you into the indoor putt-putt course.
Ever since arriving here, mini golf has been one of your favorite things to do. Of course it was an activity meant mostly unicorns. The other ponies stayed away from it since they didn’t really have anything to hold the putter with. But that wouldn’t stop some fans, and occasionally you’d see one or two Pegasi or Earth ponies using their mouths.
Picking your favorite colored ball, you and Fleur make your way over to the first hole. Being a gentleman, you let Fleur go first. A few stallions on the other side of the building whistle at her, throwing off her concentration. Her face turns red as looks down in embarrassment. How she was embarrassed was beyond you. Being a top model, she had to have a few whistles and provocative words directed towards her.
“Take your time, we’ve got all day,” you assure her.
She refocuses and takes her shot. It was a good put that gives her a good angle on the hole for her next shot.
As the course played on, the two of you just talked and laughed ignoring everypony else who looked at you. You were really starting to enjoy her company, maybe she was starting to like too.
Arriving at the seven-tenth hole, you and Fleur were tied at nine under par. With one hole to go, you had to do something to win, not like it mattered, but being beaten by a mare was not on your to do list. She must have been lying with all that
“You’re good at this for not being able to use magic.” You’ll take it as a compliment.
“Thanks I have a lot of free time since I’m off on the weekends, so this is what I do.” She once again looks down in a shameful fashion.
“Yeah, listen. Last night I remember I called you a ‘doughnut dunker’. I’m really sorry, that was very inconsiderate.” As she continues with her apology, you bend over to mess with your shoe. A single thought and urge clouds your mind.
Cupping her cheek, you bring your lips to meet hers and shut her up. It was a soft kiss, no need in adding tongue, that would be taking it too far.
Pulling away, her pink hued face was a shade pinker as well as yours. You notice her eyes tear up, she can read the worry on your face and starts to explain.
“My… last somepony… was eaten by timber wolves while he was out for a run one day, and… you kiss like him,” this time it’s your turn to stumble over an apology.
“Fleur… I’m so-,” she cuts you off with a kiss to the lips, like yours, no tongue was involved. She giggles lightly and kisses your right cheek and inches toward your ear.
“I’m just kidding,” she whispers. “He was pompous ass, and you’re a lot better kisser than he was.” Wait, so did he actually get eaten?
Moving and pecking your other cheek, she finishes up her combo with a long soft lip lock. A few more whistles can be heard throughout the building. She breaks the kiss; both of your faces are red as can be.
Picking up your balls and putters, you both decide to end the game and go. Walking back out onto the street, you stand around for second.
“I think it’s about time for me to go, I have a meeting in two hours that I forgot about. I would really like to do this again, you’re really enjoyable to be around.” she starts making her way up the street.
“That sounds great,” you call out to her. Turning around, Fleur gives you a wink and walks off.
Standing alone on the street now, you can’t help but have the biggest smile in the world right now. Although it’s only one in the afternoon, today as already been a good day. Fuck, you didn’t get the directions for the cleaners.
