Arc One: Revenge - Chapter 1: Daddy’s Life Without His Little Dashie

It’s been 20 years since Dashie was taken back to Equestria. There is not a single day that goes by that I don't think of her, even it's only for a minute. I knew I couldn't live in depression forever so I decided to try and get a girlfriend, and I did, her name was Tracy. I was happy again when she came into my life. We married and had a son; we live in the city now. It was too bad that I could never tell them about Rainbow Dash or they'd think I'm crazy. I had cried every day for two weeks when Dashie left, I missed her so much. Long ago I realized that Celestia did in fact take her memories of me away from her. That thought made me mad at first...but I knew she was much happier without the sadness of losing her father. Her being happy was all I cared about, whether she remembered me or not. Every night for the first two moths I would dream that we where together again, flying in Equestria, that's right, I have wings in my dreams and I love it. That was all so long ago. It was good to finally be happy again now that I have a family. Even though it’s been 20 whole years, I still shed a tear for her at least once a month. I will never forget her...I will always love her.

I am currently 55 years old and I am going through a mid life crisis. My life has taken a turn for the worse...so bad that I might be killed. My son Ryan who was now 22 had became a dealer for cocaine. He got in some rough disputes and was almost killed by his distributers. I saved his life when I followed him to make sure he wasn’t in to drugs. I did something that I never thought I would do...I killed the two people who were about to end my sons life. I snuck up behind them and hit one of them in the side of the head as hard as I could with a metal baseball bat. When the other tuned around, I lunged at him, forcing him against a wall. He dropped his gun but tried to stab me with his knife. I kneed him in the gut and took his knife away. I then stabbed him in the neck and shot the other guy in the head with the gun that was on the ground. My son stared at me in shock...I did what I had to do to keep him safe. We told the police that Ryan was being robbed by them and when I tried to help, they attempted to kill us. Killing the other dealers screwed me up really bad; I kept having nightmares of them. I had a huge fear that more dealers would find my house and kill my family; we were forced to move to another house because of that. My fears became true as they found us and Ryan was shot in the head. Luckily, Tracy wasn’t home, I was kidnapped however. They took me to an abandoned warehouse and beat me to a bloody pulp. They cut off both of my pinkie fingers and shaved my head bald to humiliate me. I was saved by police because one of the dealers was an undercover cop.

Ryan’s death caused a change in attitude, I became much more aggressive. I would have much more arguments with Tracy, I would get drunk more, and I would get in bar fights. My relationship with Tracy was diminishing, I felt like the world was closing in on me. Eventually Tracy divorced me and I was alone again. I blamed myself for Ryan’s death; I think Tracy did as well. With my son dead and Tracy gone, I planned to finally end my miserable life once and for all. I bought a pistol and planned to shot myself in the head on a Monday after work. I got home and got ready to do it. When I was about to pull the trigger, I thought of Dashie and all the fun times we had together. I couldn’t kill myself...that’s not what Dashie or Ryan would want. I tried to live my life happily again but I couldn’t, I missed my family too much. I apologised to Tracy and we got back together, but it didn’t work out. She left me again after I got into another bar fight. My hair wasn’t growing back very well, so I just kept shaving it because I didn’t care anymore.

One day when I got back from work, I noticed that my picture book was on my coffee table. I stood in the living room, just staring at it. I hadn’t even touched the book in year. I had been too busy to even think of my life before I married Tracy. I never left the book in sight for fear of my family seeing the pictures of me and Dashie. As soon as I walked closer to it, I saw a black Alicorn appear in front of me. He had a black mane, red eyes, black horn, and black wings. He was holding my favourite picture of Dashie. I was shocked, I didn't know what to do, I just stood there frozen. The Alicorn looked at me and smiled.

"So you’re Daddy"

"Um...yes...who...who are you?"

"Someone who needs you. Broken hearts of other dimensions can give my race much power. When Rainbow Dash sees you killed in front of her, she will crack more than any pony in Equestria!"

"WHAT!"

"You don't even know the half of what we put her through"

"IF YOU HURT HER I SWEAR TO GOD, I'LL KILL YOU"

"Too late for that...AHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!"

I ran at him in anger but a black hole appeared in front of me and I was sucked in. I was in complete darkness, I saw the evil Alicorn in front of me.

"Who are you and what are you going to do"

"The names Dark Shadow, I'm the leader of a race called the Dark Race. My partner has done terrible things to your little ‘Dashie’. He infected her with a spell that made her kill all her friends. I don’t even know if she’s still alive...I’ll just kill you quickly if she’s already dead”

“If she’s dead, I will fucking kill you, you understand me!”

“Oh calm down, you’re going to be part of something amazing!”

“Like what”

“You are going to be part of the grand re-opening of the Rainbow Factory! It will be tough to re build it with Doctor Atmosphere dead”

"What's the Rainbow Factory?"

“An amazing place that Celestia destroyed. She used the ‘Time Spell’ to get rid of it forever. She was the only thing in Equestria that could use that spell. It was so powerful that once she used it..she could never use it again. Fun fact, Rainbow Dash had a big part in it when it was still around”

“What do you mean?”

“I’ll tell you all about it on the way”

Arc One: Revenge - Chapter 2: Truth

Twilight's eyes slowly opened to see Spike standing beside her with a look of panic on his face.

"Spi...Spike...where am I?”

“You’re in a hospital in Ponyville”

“Ponyville?”

“You’ve been unconscious for days. I got you moved to Ponyville cuz if whoever it is that made the infection knows we’re looking for him or her...Ponyville is the safest place I would imagine”

“No place is safe anymore Spike”

"Twilight...The infection spread to nurse Redheart"

Twilight sat up.

"What?! What are we going to do?"

"Let’s continue your plan. We need to find out who's responsible for this and bring him or her to justice before any other Pony gets killed"

"Your right...let’s move, but where are we going to look? I'm starting to have my doubts about Trixie being behind all this"

"We should check out Rainbow Dash's house, no Pony as set hooves in there since the murders"

"That's a great idea, let’s go now before a nurse questions us"

Twilight got out of her bed.

"What about nurse Redheart?” asked Spike, “We can't just leave her with the infection"

Twilight thought about it for a second.

"We're goanna have to...you and I need to be in good shape if where going to find out and stop whoever's doing this"

Spike looked at Twilight with a questionable look

"Have you looked in a mirror lately? You look terrible"

"That doesn't matter...we need to go now!"

Meanwhile at the other end of the hospital, a new Unicorn doctor steps into the doctor’s office and greets the other doctor. The new doctor has a brown coat with a light brown mane and green eyes.

"Hello" the new doctor said, "I'm doctor Skit, I just moved here"

"Bad time to move to Ponyville” said the lead doctor.

"I know...I wanted to work in a smaller town. I hear that the survivor of the murders is here, what’s her name...Twilight Sparkle right?"

"Yea that's her, why don't you go check up on her"

"We'll do!"

Doctor Skit happily walked over to Twilight's room, only to see her and Spike going out the window.

"Hey, I don't think you’re supposed to leave"

"Well where leaving" said Twilight sternly, "and you or any other pony can't stop us!"

"I never said I was going to stop you"

"I told you- wait what?"

"Trying to stop you would take actual work...I try to avoid unneeded work as much as possible"

"So you'll let us go?"

"Yea...but you left before I came here, got that?"

"Yes, ok thank you, bye"

Twilight and Spike went through the window and ran away from the hospital. The lead doctor came in to see Twilight and Spike gone

"Where did they go!?"

"I dunno, they must have left before I got in the room"

Twilight used her magic to make her and Spike disappear

"Remember Spike, this spell will only work for a couple of minutes so we need to make it to Rainbow Dash's house quickly"

Twilight used all the magic she could to lift her and Spike off the ground and into Rainbow Dash's house where Twilight used another spell to make them be able to walk on clouds. Twilight almost burst into tears when she saw the destruction of the house. She knew Rainbow Dash's guilt and anger caused her to destroy all her valuable possessions.

"Can you believe this" Twilight said sadly, "I only had the infection for a couple of days and I tried to kill you. Rainbow Dash had it for a month and she held her own for that long. I can't even begin to imagine what she went through during all those days. She's a true hero...if she had given up sooner...a lot more ponies would have been killed. After everything she fought for...all the suffering she went though...she'll only be remembered for killing most of her friends"

"If we find the real killer, every pony will realize what Rainbow Dash went through"

"IF we ever find the real killer"

"Don't worry Twilight...we will...we have to"

Twilight and Spike started to search every inch of the cloud house to find any clues. Spike jumped back when Rainbow Dash's tortoise jumped out from a corner.

"Oh my Celestia! You scarred me!"

"The poor thing must have been scared to death when Rainbow Dash ripped about her house"

"He probably hasn't eaten in days"

"Don't worry, we'll take him to Fluttershy and...oh...right...”

Sadness consumed Twilight.

"We'll take him to the animal shelter" she said sadly.

Twilight continued to look around the house until she noticed the picture of Gummys birthday party that Pinkie Pie hosted. She picked up the picture off the floor, a tear rolled down her check as she stared at her friend’s happy faces. Twilight wanted to scream, she wanted to kill the pony responsible.

"Even if we catch the true killer...things will never be the same” said Twilight, “I miss Rainbows loyalty and coolness, Pinkie's happiness and party's, Applejack's trustfulness and apples, Fluttershy's kindness and her animals, and Rarity's generosity and the dresses she loved to create...I miss them all so much"

"So do I"

Twilight looked at Spike with sweetness in her eyes.

"Spike...you where my first and now the only friend I have left...I promise I won't let anything happen to you"

"Twilight your more than just a friend to me...your my big sister"

Twilight and Spike embraced in a hug. Their embrace was cut short when a royal Pegasus guard with red eyes tackled the two of them. The guard pinned Spike down as Twilight got up to her hooves. The guard began to suffocate Spike with his wings. Twilight quickly used her magic to hit the guard off Spike. He fell on his back; Twilight held him down and used her memory spell to snap him out of his trance. His red eyes became blue as he looked around all confused, Twilight still had him pinned down encase he tried to do anything again.

"Wh...Where am I?” the guard asked confused.

"You’re in Ponyville" said Twilight, "you just tried to kill me and my friend"

"Did I really? I...I'm so sorry, I wasn't myself"

"It ok, do you remember what happened before you were turned evil"

The guard pony had to think for a second before a light bulb went off in his head.

"It's all coming back...I was ordered to go to Princesses Celestia’s room to speak with her about something urgent. When I walked into her room, she used a spell to hypnotize me."

Twilight and Spikes eyes widened

"Are...are you saying...Princess Celestia is behind this..."

"I don't think so...her eyes were red like mine had been"

Twilight and Spike looked at each other

"Common Spike, we're leaving...we're going to Canterlot”

Twilight, Spike, and the guard entered the train and sat in a carriage.

"I'm sorry" Twilight said to the guard, "I never asked what your name was"

The guard smiled, "that's ok, my names Ace Spades Jr."

"Ace Spades?" Spike questioned, "Shouldn’t you be a magician with a name like that?"

"I was named after my father...he was the magician, not me"

After a minute of silence, Ace spoke up again, "are you sure going into Canterlot is a smart idea if Princess Celestia is possessed?"

"We need to get help from Shining Armor and Princess Cadence

“said Twilight, "they should be able to help"

"But what if their possessed to?"

"If that's the case...I don't know what we'll do. All I know is that we are the only ones who know the truth, and we are going to save Equestria ...or die trying"

"Next Stop!" the train driver said, "Canterlot!”

Twilight, Spike, and Ace got off the train and headed for the castle.

"YOU THREE STOP!" a royal guard said.

"I'll handle this", reassured Ace, "yes we were just going to..."

Ace stopped talking when he noticed that the other guard had a black coat with black armor and red eyes

"Oh no..." Twilight whispered, "it's a trap...she wanted us to come to Canterlot".

The three of them are soon surrounded by the evil guards. Twilightwas too weak to fight back; they had no choice but to surrender. They were taken to the main hall where they were greeted by the possessed Princess Celestia.

"Welcome Twilight, I've been waiting for your arrival"

"WHO ARE YOU!" demanded Twilight, "WHY ARE YOU DOING ALL OF THIS!"

An evil green spread across Celestia’s face, "All in good time Twilight...all in good time. Take her and her friends to the dungeon!"

Twilight, Spike, and Ace where escorted by the evil guards to the dungeon below the castle. The three ponies were taken to the farthest cell and locked in it. Once one of the evil guards locked the door shut, the three see Princess Cadence

, Princess Luna, and Twilight's parents in there as well.

"Mom! Dad!” Twilight yelled

She ran over and hugged her parents, she them turned to face Cadence and

Luna.

"Do you know who's doing this?"

"No" said Cadence, "but we know his plan"

Luna stepped forward to explain the villain’s evil plan.

"When I was banished on the moon, I was visited one day by black smoke. I could barely make out a smiling face in the smoke. He told me that he would help me escape the moon on the Prophesized date. Oddly enough he didn't want anything in return, he used some kind of black magic to help me escape so I could rain over Equestria in darkness. I told Celestia about the smoke figure but she couldn't find anything about him. The entity that possessed my sister is the same evil entity that approached me on the moon"

Twilight and Cadence looked at each other before Twilight responded, "So this entity wants to carry out your original plan?"

"No...his plan is much worse. He has no heart...no remorse...not even for himself. He will surround Equestria in darkness and kill every single pony. Before he destroys Equestria, he will break Equestria. Turning the element of loyalty into a sadistic serial killer was just his first step. He will attempt to break you Twilight; he will kill me, Cadence, your parents, Spike, and any other pony you care about in front of you until you crack. All of Equestria knows that you are the only pony who can stop him, so he will drive you to madness in order to break the spirit of every pony who has hope"

I'll never crack" said Twilight sternly "I saw Applejack and Big Macintosh’s burned corpses in a barn, I saw Fluttershy's corpse being ripped apart by wolves, I saw Rarity's corpse with rolled over eyes and sharp diamonds sticking out of her, and I thought I saved Rainbow Dash...only to watch as Princess Celestia executed her for murders that weren't her fault...We are going to get out of here rate now, save Celestia and kill the monster responsible for all of this”

"What's the point" said Candice, "Only the elements of harmony can defeat this killer. You may be the strongest element, but the dark Unicorn is to powerful"

"The dark unicorn?" asked Spike

"It's what we call the entity that possessed Celestia ", explained Luna, "I saw a glimpse of his real form on the moon"

"Does Shining Armor know about all this?” asked Twilight.

"I don't know" Candice responded, "I pray that he is ok. The last time I saw him was after our wedding. We were driving of in the carriage when black smoke appeared. We heard children's laughter and a demonic voice say, 'family is forever isn't it', I them blacked out and woke up in this dungeon"

Spike stepped in the middle of the room, "There has to be a way for us to defeat the dark Unicorn".

Twilight's father also stepped in the middle of the room to face Spike, "Without the elements of harmony...we cannot win..."

"There must be another way!"

"I'm afraid there is not" said Luna, "but I have a way to bring the elements of harmony back"

Twilight looked at Luna with confusion, "what do you mean?"

"The dark unicorn learned all sorts of magic in his travels across the universe. He learned a spell that my sister and I call the impossible spell. It is the spell of resurrection...me or Celestia could never learn a spell that complicated, even the dark unicorns power drains immensely if he uses it. I learned a spell on the moon that grants me powers to take a pony’s spell from them...I did that to the dark unicorn before I was taken to this dungeon. This spell only works if the creature died within a month. I am going to bring your friends back Twilight...but this will only work once"

Twilight didn't respond, she couldn't respond...there were no words to comprehend the happiness she felt in that moment.

Spike was the first one to respond, "You’re going to bring our friends back! This is amazing! With the elements of harmony together again, the dark unicorn will be destroyed!"

Tears of happiness rolled down Twilight’s cheeks, she still couldn't find the words to respond.

"I'm going to begin", said Luna

All of as sudden Twilight blacked out. She woke up in darkness and heard a voice say, “Time to start our test...”

Arc One: Revenge - Chapter 3: Insanity

Dashie's Dad POV

I was knocked out by Dark Shadow. I then woke up tied to a chair with a sack over my head in God knows where. The sack was taken off my head and I saw that I was in some room with a light over me; the rest of the room was in darkness. Dark Shadow stepped into view with a smile on his face.

"Where am I?" I asked.

"That's not important rate now" he snapped back.

Another Dark Race came out of the darkness. I don't get it; they look just like the ponies from Equestria, just with darker colors. This one looked like a Pegasus; he had a black coat with brown eyes and a brown mane.

"You all look just like Equestrian ponies", I said.

Dark shadow smiled, "that's because we are Equestrian ponies. I attempted to take over Equestria but me and my followers where defeated and banished by the princesses thousands of years ago"

Learning more history of Equestria interested me.

"Was this after Discord's take over?" I asked.

"Yes. My subjects and I are never mentioned because the princesses pretty much forget about us. We were so easy to defeat. One attack on the castle and in less than five minutes, the Princesses used the Elements of Harmony to banish us to the far reaches of space, never to return".

"So are you like the princess’s brother or something?"

"No, I am the product of a spell that I tried to use on myself. This spell was destroyed by Celestia when she found out it could turn ponies into immortal Alicorns like myself".

This was all very interesting information, but I still didn't understand what he needed with me.

"I don't understand, what do you want with me? What use would I have for you?"

"You have an amazing power that you don't know of yet"

"What the fuck are you talking about?"

"If I told you now, you would be able to escape your restraints"

I narrowed my eyes at him. "...what are you going to do to me?"

"Beat the living shit out of you. Seeing you beaten beyond repair will surly help in breaking Rainbow Dash"

Before I could say anything else, Dark Shadow turned around and bucked me as hard as he could, causing my chair to fall and the back of my head to hit the floor hard. Everything went blurry as my chair was brought back up and I was punched in the face again and again until my nose was broken and I was bleeding immensely. Before he walked away, he bucked me one last time, once again causing my chair to fall and the back of my head to hit the ground hard. I was sure my brain was bleeding on the inside and I was going to die. As I lied on the floor in pain, my thoughts weren't working probably. My mind went blank; I think I suffered brain damage. After about five minutes of pain, a Dark Race that looked like a doctor came in the room.

"You are dying" he said calmly, " I am going to save you"

He then used magic to heal my bleeding brain and my broken nose. However my bruises and black eye stayed

"You can use magic!” I stupidly said. I didn't understand anything that was being said for some reason.

The doctor quizzically looked at me.

"Hhhmm....I think you suffered brain damage. You won't die from that, so I'm not needed anymore"

The doctor then left me with my mind slowly deteriorating. I was soon able to think again. Dark Shadow came back with a look of pure anger on his face.

"I CAN'T BELIVE IT!"

He pulled my chair back up and looked at me straight in the eye.

"I hate to say but...Rainbow Dash is dead...my partner killed her when he possessed Princess Celestia"

I stared rate back at him. My reaction was something that Dark Shadow didn't expect. With the news of Dashie's death, my mind completely snapped. I began to laugh hysterically as Dark Shadow slowly backed away.

"Aren't you suppose to be upset?" he asked with confusion

"Of course I'm upset...DO I NOT LOOK UPSET!!!" I yelled with a huge smile on my face.

I then burst into laughter and the chair fell back on the ground. Dark Shadow, knowing I was going insane, kept backing away. All of a sudden he was bashed at the back of the head from behind; he fell on the floor unconscious. I was untied and helped up by the Dark Race that was standing with Dark Shadow in the room earlier.

"Common, we need to go now if you want to get out of here" he said.

I ran with him out of the building and he pushed me into a purple portal. I soon found myself in the Everfree forest in Equestria.

"Hello Human, my name is Night Sky; I am revolting against Dark Shadow. I don't want to be involved with him anymore. He's a monster...do you know what he planes to do to Equestria?"

"No what?"

"He's gonna rebuild the Rainbow Factory and use every pony in Equestria to make rainbows as he and the rest of the Dark Race take over the land!"

"Ok back up, I still don't know what the Rainbow Factory is or what Dashie had to do with it"

Night Sky took a deep breath and told me the story of the Rainbow Factory.

“And then Celestia shot magic at Rainbow Dash before she could kill Scootaloo. The magic killed Rainbow instantly, Celestia then killed doctor Atmosphere. After that, the factory was shut down and Scootaloo want mad with trauma. She wrote a poem about the factory and dyed her mane to look like a rainbow so she could still be as good as her idle.

It took me a few seconds to take in all the information that Night Sky gave me.

“Dashie was…” I began but was cut off by Night.

“No…Rainbow Dash was never evil. She was infected by evil magic when she was a filly. The same infection that infected her when she was an adult. When Princess Celestia found about this, she decided to use the ‘time spell’ to stop the evil ponies from creating such an evil factory. Because of this, Rainbow Dash and all the other Pegasus are still alive with no knowledge of the Rainbow Factory’s existence in time. And as you know, Celestia can never use that spell again"

"Why would they let failed Pegasi be banished in the first place!?"

"The ones who created the factory put a curse on Equestria that made every pony think that that was ok... even Celestia fell under the curse. Celestia makes sure that no pony is taught that magic anymore. Why do think Equestria is so peaceful?”

I rub my temple, trying to comprehend all this information. I was pretty sure I didn’t actually have brain damage, I thought that maybe the doctor was trying to scare me. There was one more piece of information that I wanted.

“What is this special power that I supposedly have?”

Night sighed, “you have the power to teleport anywhere you want, even if you are being held down by magic. You can also teleport to Earth and back whenever you want”

I stared at him for minute with complete disbelief.

“I…WHAT! How is that possible!?”

“You are the first Human to ever come in contact with the Ponies form Equestria. When Celestia and the others opened up the portal to enter your world and bring Rainbow Dash home, there where extreme side effects that Celestia was not aware of. When a none magic being like you came into contact with such powerful beings like Princesses Celestia and Twilight Sparkle, the magic rubbed off on you”

“Would that happen again if they met another Human?”

“No, the magic would be used to your world at that point”

With this incredible news of my power, I stared at Night for a minute, then smiled.

"Can you use magic?"

Night looked at me with a worried expression

"Uh...yes?"

My smile got bigger. "Can you use that magic to change the look of your coat and mane?"

Night narrowed his eyes. "...yes..."

My face went from happy to serious.

"Good, we're going to need all the magic we can get for what where about to do"

"What are talking about? What are we going to do?"

"You really think any pony in Equestria will accept you? To them you'll be a freak. If you change your appearance and have a lot if bits, you will be accepted into society"

"We don't have any bite"

"That's why we're going to steal it"

"What? Where trying to be good, not bad"

"Good people go nowhere in life, trust me. I spent my whole life acting as you would call 'good'. And let me tell you...it didn't work out at all. My daughter was taken away from me them killed, I witnessed my son be shot in the head, and my wife dumped me. Where I come from, the only people who make it in the end are rich. This world uses fucking gold for currency....I would be filthy rich if I were to return home with that.

"There’s no way I'm helping you"

"Ok fine, take your chances...go to a city and see how well you fit in, how well it will be to get a job. You've been told your whole life to hate...trust me, you won't fit in well in a world where everyone loves"

Night began to think about what I had just said. "...you have a point"

"Of course I do, you won't need a job when you’re as rich as you’re going to be. Wealth buys happiness, plain and simple. Now are you going to help me or not?"

Night thought about it. "I'm in...but what about Dark Shadow? He's going to kill everypony!"

"I'm sure Celestia can handle him...now come on...Ponyville's our first stop"

Arc One: Revenge - Chapter 4: Test

Twilight woke up to see...darkness...nothing but black empty darkness. She used her magic to make her horn glow so she could see. She could see nothing but blackness, it was like she was nowhere. All of a sudden, a calm, yet demonic voice was heard in the darkness.

"Twilight Sparkle...I've been waiting so long for us to finally meet"

"Show yourself you coward!" Twilight yelled as she put down her horn in defence.

"With pleasure"

A buff of black smoke appeared in front of Twilight; in the smoke was the outline of two eyes and a mouth with a huge grin.

"I know that's not your true form" said Twilight.

"Oh don't worry...you'll see what I really look like soon enough" the face said with a smile.

"I know what you’re going to do...and it won't work!"

The dark Unicorn started to laugh, "I find it so funny that you think you can actually beat me. I know that Luna took my spell and used it to bring back your friends so they can wield the Elements of Harmony and defeat me. Little do they know is that not only won't that work...but I still have the impossible spell, I can use it to bring back any of my minions if they are killed"

"Don't try to act like you’re in complete control, I know the Elements can't kill you...that's my job"

"You’re a little right. I will admit, you are the only pony who can kill me...but you are very wrong when you say that I don't have complete control"

"The Elements can get you out of Celestia, making you more venerable, I can kill you then"

"And how exactly are you planning to kill me?"

"I...uh..."

"I am very truthful Twilight; I won't keep this from you. You and I both have no idea how you can kill me...but we know you can kill me"

"I'll find a way!"

The smoke dropped to the floor at Twilight's hooves and said in a mocking voice, “And what if I beg for mercy, are you nice enough just to give me a slap on the hoof for being a bad boy?"

"That is up to Princess Celestia" Twilight said, looking down at the face who was giving her puppy dog eyes.

The Smoke rose back up to look Twilight dead in the eye.

"I'm not talking about Celestia, in the end if you somehow defeat me...the choice will be up to you...so tell me Miss Sparkle...What. Would.You. Do?"

"I will banish you from Equestria and make sure you never return"

A sick smile crept across the evil face.

"So your still merciful...I grantee that you won't be after where done this test"

Suddenly a window appeared showing Rainbow Dash pick up a knife and stab Pinkie Pie again, and again, and again. Twilight looked on in complete sadness as the window showed her every death caused by Rainbow Dash. It then showed Rainbow, still alive on a table being experimented on, causing the burned blind Pegasus extreme pain.

"Twilight", Rainbow Dash said with a weak voice "please help me...where are you...please some pony help me. I’m so sorry for what I did...I...I'm so so sorry". Rainbow tried to cry but couldn't with her eyes gone.

Twilight burst into tears and in anger, shot her magic at the window to make it go away.

"She’s still alive...YOU MONSTER! LET HER GO RATE NOW!"

The dark unicorn laughed "are you kidding? Rainbow Dash is so much fun to work with; we'll be using her for a very long time"

Twilight's head moved in every direction as she looked for any way out of this nightmare.

"And that's not all", the dark unicorn said with a smile

Now the window showed Luna trying to bring Twilight's friends back

"I...I don't understand...this should work...this has to work!” Luna yelled in frustration.

All of a sudden an arrow shot across the room and nailed Luna rate the head, killing her.

"NO!” Twilight yelled

The window then showed an arrow shoot Candice, Ace Spades, and Twilight's parents in the heart, killing all of them. Twilight fell to her knees and cried as the dark unicorn laughed at her suffering. Twilight looked up to see Spike held to the ground by an evil guard. Another guard poured oil on Spike while a third guard threw a lit match at him. Twilight watched in complete shock and sadness and her best friend, someone she took care for like a son, someone who was like another brother to her...be burned alive as the dark unicorn’s laughter is heard throughout the darkness.

After five minutes of crying, Twilight got up to her hooves

"I'LL KILL YOU FOR THIS YOU HEAR ME! I'LL MAKE YOU SUFFER FOR WHAT YOU DID! WHEN I'M DONE WITH YOU, YOU'LL BEG ME TO KILL YOU!"

The dark unicorn laughed harder than ever before, this made Twilight even more angry...something inside her snapped and she began to shot her magic in every direction, hoping to somehow kill the dark unicorn

"You need to realize Twilight, you’re never going to leave this place... Equestria will be his and you and Celestia will be mine!"

As Twilight continued to rage, something in her snapped her out of it. "I get it now", she said, "you didn't kill Spike or any other pony in the dungeon...this is all fake...the only way for me to pass the test and escape this realm is to not fill my heart with darkness and anger. My light is still burning and I will never give into the darkness"

"You don't know for sure weather what I showed you was fake or not"

"Even if it wasn't, I know my friends would not want to die in vain, I know they would be counting on me to fight through this...and stop you"

All of a sudden a burst of light shot through the window...Twilight realized that she passed the text.

Twilight appeared in the main hall of the castle, she sees the possessed Princess Celestia with a look of shock on her face. Twilight looked behind her and saw Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash smiling at her. Twilight ran over to them and they all embraced in a big hug.

""I'm so happy to see you girls again" said Twilight.

""Where happy to see you to sugercube" said Applejack

Rainbow looked at all her friends "Guys, I'm"

"You don't need to apologies Rainbow" said Applejack

"We know none of what you did was your fault” said Fluttershy.

"you fought with that infection for a month” said Rarity, “if you had given in earlier, a lot more ponies would have been killed"

"you’re a hero Rainbow Dash!", said Pinkie Pie happily as she jumped up and down.

The six friends all hugged again. Luna, Spike, Big Macintosh, Ace Spades, and Twilight's parents soon enter the hall as well. Every one turns to face the sweating possessed Celestia.

“Ok girls" said Twilight "lets finish him!"

The girls stepped forward and Luna gave them all the Elements of Harmony. They all shot Celestia with their magic.

"NOOOOOOOO!” the dark unicorn screamed as he is thrown out if Celestia’s body. The dark unicorn got thrown across the room and into a corner where black smoke appeared to cover what he looks like. Princess Celestia opened her wings and light flashes thorough out the hall.

"Thank you so much for saving me" she said.

"You can thank us later” said Twilight, "rate now we need to stop the evil unicorn once and for all!"

Celastea, Luna, and the mane six stand in front of the smoke.

It's over dark unicorn!” yelled Celestia, "come out so we can discuss your fate!"

A yellow Pegasus filly came out of the smoke.

"Please don't hurt me” she said, "or my mother, she hasn't done anything wrong!"

Twilight and the others stared at the filly with shock and confusion.

"She’s just...just a filly" said Twilight, "princess Celestia, what do we do?"

Celestia began to back up with a look of pure terror in her eyes.

"Princess Celestia?"

The filly dropped to the floor at Rainbow's hooves, "You can't hurt my mother, she went through the same thing as you!"

Rainbow looked down at the filly them looked up at Twilight.

"I...I don't understand” she said with a look of disbelief on her face, “what so we do?"

Twilight looked down at the filly, "is your mother in the smoke?"

The filly got back up, "yes, oh please don't hurt her!"

Just them, a female voice was heard in the smoke, "its OK girls...they can't hurt me"

A Pegasus pony stepped out, she had a red coat with blue eyes and a blond mane. Twilight looked back at the princess but she was still backing up.

The unknown pony looked at Twilight and smiled a sweet smile, "Twilight Sparkle...is that you?"

"Ye...yes" she responded.

"My name is Rose Bud, I am your sister in law"

An angry Candice stepped forward, "sister in law!"

"Relax; I was never with your husband"

Celestia gasped.

"I wish I could actually meet you Twilight...but I'm not really here...I am just an illusion. You see, me and my daughter are dead...but he is not...would you like to meet him?"

"Meet who?"

"Why Moonlight of course"

"Who is Moonlight?"

"He is your brother"

Arc One: Revenge - Chapter 5: Reveal

Out of the smoke...came a laughing unicorn with the same sadistic grin that Rainbow Dash had when she was infected. He had blue eyes like Shining Armor, a purple coat like Twilight, and his main was purple and blue.

Twilight stared at her brother with complete shock.

"What's wrong Twilight?” Moonlight asked “ I thought you would know about me...I knew was Celestia evil, but not telling you about me...now that's wrong"

Twilight looked back at her parents who had the same expression as her.

"Don't look at them Twilight, all their memory's of me where wiped from their mind. As for all the ponies that I met while I was in Equestria...the only memory of me that Celestia took was the fact that your parents where my parents"

Twilight's gaze shifted to the now crying Celestia.

"How...how could you do this?" Twilight asked with pain in her voice.

Before Celestia could respond, Moonlight continued to talk.

"If you want to know where the infection came from...just ask the princess...she made it after all"

Every pony in the hall gasped and looked at the terrified princess.

"Don't say anything" Moonlight snapped, "I'm not done talking. I was her student before you or Shining Armor where born. She accidentally infected my wife with her damn creation. You think Pinkie Pie's death was shocking...well how about coming home to see your daughter on the floor with her insides ripped out. I was forced to kill Rose Bud as she came at me with the knife. As my wife was dying in my hooves, the monster inside her told me who created it. When I found out, I tried to kill Celestia..she retaliated by banishing me from Equestria and removing the memory of me from my parents. The deaths were covered up as an accident and I was left to die in space"

Twilight's face went from shock to anger; she turned around to face the princess.

"How could you do such a thing” she said”, “your...your evil"

"No, you don't understand” responded Celestia as she wiped the tears from her eyes, “I was creating a new spell when Moonlight attacked me. I retaliated without seeing who it was and my created spell came out instead of my self defense spell. I don't know how that happened but I stopped creating spells after that. The spell had terrible side effects...it messed with my memory; it made me think I killed him. It also took the memory of him from the ponies that care about him the most...his parents. When I found out that my attacker was my student and one of my created spells caused his wife to kill his daughter, I went into a deep depression"

"But why didn't you tell my parents"

"I did..."

"What?"

"I didn't know that", said Moonlight

"Your parents refused to tell you"

Twilight and Moonlight look at their parents

"You can't blame us", Twilight's father said.

Her mother continued, "We woke up one day feeling like we were missing something. We were shocked when the princess of Equestria came to our door to tell is that we had a son who she killed him by accident"

"Why didn't you tell me!" Twilight yelled as tears began to form in her eyes.

"What would we say, 'oh yea and by the way, you had a brother who we don't remember who tried to assassinate the princess of Equestria after she accidentally infected his wife which caused her to kill his daughter?'"

"YES! THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE SAID!"

"One day we were in our attic looking at old family photos and we found a picture of our long lost son. We looked at the picture for a long time before we started to cry. Them...all of a sudden, our memories came back. We missed him so much...we where planning to tell you and Shining Armor but we couldn't when princess Celestia made you her student. We were afraid that you wouldn't want to work with her...we just wanted you to have the best future possible"

"You two are monsters for not telling me about him"

"Twilight please"

"NO! Your sick...I can never forgive you for this!"

Moonlight teleported rate next to Twilight

"Looks like you can't trust any pony. We have a lot of catching up to do little sister...we don't need them...they lied to you"

"Don't listen to him" said Celestia , "he's trying to turn you against me"

"Maybe I should be against you!” yelled Twilight.

"Listen Twilight" Rainbow said, "What your parents did was wrong...but we have to stop him before he destroys Equestria!"

"Ah Rainbow Dash" Moonlight said with a smile, "it's good to finally meet you. You must know, infecting you was not personal. You where my first step in breaking Equestria’s heart. And now that the infection is loose somewhere...more and more ponies will lose hope, thus giving me more power"

"You’re a sick twisted pony!", yelled Rainbow, "your pure evil!"

"And who created this evil! I didn't start this war...the princess did"

"Moonlight, you need to stop this" said Twilight, "we can talk...what you went through was terrible and I can help you"

"You have no idea what I went through"

"Rainbow knows what you went through...in fact, you put her through more pain them you could possibly imagine!"

"You think I care? What Rainbow went through isn't even close to what the rest of Equestria will go through! You want to know how I became so powerful. How I survived in deep space? I was saved by a race known as the Dark Race. They where once normal ponies until they where banished for trying to take over Equestria. When I told them my plans for Equestria, they saved me and let me become their second in command! Because I have their powers plus the powers I learned from Celestia...I am now the most powerful pony in Equestria!"

"You can still stop this"

"No! I'm going to infect every pony... Equestria will tear itself apart and the Dark Race will come to finish the job”

"We won't let you!" yelled Rainbow, "the Elements of Harmony will defeat you! Nothing can beat the power of friendship!"

"Hahahaha, you’re so naive...there is a power grater then friendship...the power of fear. You strike fear into ponies...they will forget about your silly 'friendship'"

"We'll prove ya wrong!" yelled Applejack, "you of all ponies need to be shown the power of friendship after everything you went through"

"I DON'T NEED ANY PONY!"

Moonlight used his magic to take the Elements of Harmony away from the Mane Six. Luna quickly flue up and snatched that Elements.

"Hey!" yelled Moonlight.

"Quickly, we must get the Elements out of Canterlot” said Luna, “he has no power outside the city because he he’s used all his power to keep me and my sister trapped here”

Luna flies away as Rainbow, Applejack, Pinkie, Rarity, Fluttershy, Ace Spades, and Big Mac run after her.

"Seize them! Seize them!" yelled Moonlight.

Ten evil guards chase after them. Celestia notices that Twilight is still standing there.

"Twilight what are you doing! They need you!"

Twilight didn’t respond...she just stared off into space with a dumbfounded look on her face.

The ponies got out of the city limits and where about to put the elements back on, then all of sudden, Moonlight created a large portal.

"This is the only thing I can do outside of the city” Moonlight said to himself, “...let’s make it count"

The portal sucked up the Elements. The group struggled as the portal tried to suck them in as well. Luna, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Ace Spades where strong enough to get back in the city but Pinkie Pie, Spike, Fluttershy and Rarity where pulled in. Rarity grabs hold of Big Mac and he was pulled in as well.

Twilight finally snaps out of her tranz, "what have you done with them!"

"Relax, there fine” Moonlight reassures her, “the only thing the portal does is split them up and send them somewhere far away. Those fools can look for the Elements all they want...by the time they find them...it'll be too late"

The ponies that weren't sucked in run back. Rainbow Dash charged full force at Moonlight, but he simply used his magic to toss her aside.

"I'm getting closer and closer to breaking you Twilight” he said, “maybe this will help"

Moonlight makes a window appear.

"Now you can even ask Celestia...I can't show you fake things when you’re in real life. So this is 100% real...enjoy"

Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Luna, Celestia, Candice, Ace Spades, and Twilight's parents look into the window and see a deserted Ponyville. Pinkie Pie, Spike, and Big Mac come into view. They are looking around at their empty home.

"Where is every pony?” asked Spike

I don't know...it's like they all just disappeared" answered Pinkie Pie, "Oh no! What if we were sent into the future and Moonlight won? We could be the only ponies left in Equestria! That would limit me from saying hello to every pony I see...it would limit me from my party's!” Pinkie shakes Spike, "I can't live without my party's!"

Pinkie stops shaking Spike and begins to hyperventilate.

"Calm down! We don't know anything yet...let’s just look around, that’s a good idea right Bic Mac?"

"Yuuup" Big Mac answered.

Then all of a sudden, a buff of black smoke appeared. In the smoke was a Dark Race with a black coat, yellow main, and snake like yellow eyes. He even sounded like a snake.

Hello poniessssss. You look lossssst...need ssssssome help?"

"Get away from us!” yelled Spike, "or we'll"

"You'll what?"

"We'll uh..."

The Dark Race smiled and walked closer. Spike, Pinkie, and Big Mac back up. Just then, Shining Armor comes into view.

"yes! It's Shining Armor!” Spike yelled in happiness, “ He'll save us!"

Shining walked up to the dark race, "Stand down Slither"

Slither looked at him in confusion, "but we"

"I said stand down!"

Slither backed off as Shining approached the others.

"Where is she?"

"Where’s who?" Spike asked with confusion

"Twilight...tell me where she is now!"

"I...I don't understand, why aren't you fighting that Slither pony?"

"Don’t make me ask again!"

“What’s your big deal?" asked Pinkie.

"WHERE IS SHE!"

"You need to calm down" said Bic Mac.

Shining’s face turned red, "calm down?"

In complete anger, Shining shot his magic at Big Mac which went through his chest, causing him to collapse on the ground.

"NO!" Applejack screamed in sadness.

"oh no! Big Mac!" Pinkie yelled.

Shining then shot his magic through Pinkies chest. It hit her and she stood there, dazed.

Spike turned to Pinkie, "Pinkie?"

Pinkie looked at Spike with a look of confusion on her face, "Spike...I think...I think he shot me too..."

Pinkie then collapsed on the ground.

“NO PINKE!" Spike yelled as he knelled down beside his fallen friend.

All the ponies watching look at each other with shock.

"this...this can't be true", said Candice with disbelief.

Moonlight grinned, "oh but it is...it’s all so true"

Shining stood over Spike, "get up"

Spike slowly got up and wiped away his tears, "how could you kill them?"

"I'm doing this for the good of Equestria. Now...you’re going to tell me where Twilight is"

The window closed and Moonlight looked over to see Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Candice with tears in their eyes.

"You wanna know how I got him to become so ruthless" Moonlight said, "I put him in the same dark dimension I took Twilight too and I showed him through a window his parents and Candice being tortured and killed. I then told him that the rest of Equestria will suffer the same fate...unless he finds Twilight and brings her to me. Let me show you are last discussion.

The window poped up again and every pony painfully looked up to see. It showed Shining Armor with red eyes from crying so long. Moonlight appeared in front of him with a sick grin.

"How...how could kill your own parents", said Shining

"It's easy when you don't have a heart. Now...I will do the same thing to every single pony in Equestria unless you find our sister and bring her to me"

"No you can't...I won't let you hurt her!"

"I promise I won't hurt her...but I will hurt everypony else in less you do what I say...do we have a deal?"

"...Yes"

"Are you willing to do anything and everything to get Twilight?"

"Yes"

"Are you prepared to kill those who stand in your way of saving Equestria!"

"...yes"

Arc One: Revenge - Chapter 6: Hostage

Spike trembled in fear as Shining Armor and Slither walked closer to him.

"Do I have to ask again?” Shining said.

"Go ahead, kill me to...I'll never tell you where Twilight is" Spike said as he stood his ground.

Meanwhile, doctor Skit just woke up from falling asleep at the doctor’s office. He walked outside and was confused to see that no pony was in sight.

"Um...did I miss something?” Skit asked confusingly, “Where is every pony?"

Skit walked around town aimlessly for awhile before finally spotting some ponies. He saw a Unicorn, a baby dragon, and a weird scary looking Pegasus standing by the Sugercube corner. Slither noticed him walking up and used his magic to teleport Skit in front of him.

"Who are you?!” Slither demanded, "why haven't you left Ponyville like every other pony?!"

Skit coward next to Spike in fear, "I...I don't know...I just woke up"

Slither looked over to Shining, "what do we with him?"

Shining sized up the cowering Skit, he saw his cutie mark, "I'm guessing you’re a doctor"

"Ye...yes"

"We'll today yours lucky day, cuz we need a doctor just in case one of us gets hurt on our journey"

"What journey?"

"Our journey to find someone very important"

Spike stepped forward, "Twilight will never forgive you for this!"

"Twilight?” said Skit, "you mean Twilight Sparkle? What do want with her? Didn't all her friends die or something?"

"Enough talking" Shining snapped, "where leaving now"

"This sounds like a lot of work" Skit said as he rubbed his chin with his hoof, "can I pass?"

"What? No you can't pass! You’re my hostage and you will do what you’re told or else you'll end up like Spikes friend...what was her name...Pinkie right?"

"I'll kill you for what you did!” yelled Spike with complete anger on his face.

Skit looked behind him and saw the two dead ponies

"I don't want to end up like those two!" Skit yelled in fear.

Skit tried to run away but Shining used a spell to freeze him in place. Just then out of the corner of his eye, Spike saw Rarity and Fluttershy riding a huge dragon. Spike saw his chance and booked it towards them. When Shining and Slither shot their magic at Spike, Rarity and Fluttershy hear and order the dragon to save Spike. The dragon flew in front of Spike and blew his fire at Shining and Slither who ducked for cover.

"We have to go now!" yelled Spike with panic.

Rarity looked at the trembling Skit, "but what about-“

Spike interrupted her, "we have no time! We need to get the Elements of Harmony back before it’s too late!"

"ok, common Flame, let’s go!" said Fluttershy.

The dragon named Flame flew off into the air away from Ponyville. He landed on the ground and the ponies got off his back

"Sorry I can't ride you feather” Flame said, “I need to get back to my wife who's going to give birth"

"Thanks for your help" said Fluttershy sweetly.

With that, Flame flew off.

"How on earth did you get a dragon to help you?" Spike asked with shock.

"We found him searching for food to give to his baby who's going to be born", said Fluttershy, "he's really nice...unlike many other dragons"

"Spike, what happened?” asked Rarity with concern, "why was Shining Armor attacking you?"

"I don't know, he said he was doing it for the good of Equestria. He also..."

"He also what?"

"He...uh...he killed Pinkie and Big Mac”

"WHAT!” Rarity and Fluttershy screamed.

"It's true...we need to find the others and get the Elements if Harmony back before more of us die"

Meanwhile, Shining and Slither got up from hiding under a ditch to see if the cost was clear. Skit was still frozen in place with a look of disbelief on his face. "Was that a...dra...dragon?"

"Yes it was" confirmed Shining, "but it’s gone now so where going to move”

"I can't believe he just left me...that's really rude"

Shining unfreezed Skit

"Common, let’s go" he ordered.

"Hey uh...will you let me go once you find Twilight?" asked Skit.

"Yes"

"I see...well...I have really good tracking skills so I could probably help you find that baby dragon and the ponies he escaped with"

"That's great! Common, let’s go, the faster I find them, the faster I find my sister"

"Twilight's your sister?"

"Yes"

"Why would you want to hurt your own sister?"

"I don't want to hurt her, I'm giving her over to my brother...he's really evil"

"So he wants to hurt your sister?"

"No...well...I hope not"

"Why are you helping him?"

Shining looked over to Slither in hopes of changing the subject but Slither flew off.

"Where are you going?!" yelled Shining.

"I don't need you” said Slither, “I can find them faster cuz I can fly"

Slither then flew off.

"Wow, "he's a good partner" Skit said sarcastically as he and Shining continued to walk.

"He's not my partner; I have to work with him"

"Why"

Shining sighed, "my family was tortured and killed in front of me and every pony in

Equestria (including you) will suffer the same fate as them unless I hand over the only family I have left...I don't want to do this...but one life isn't worth millions"

"I...I'm sorry for your loss...but was killing two of your sisters friends really necessary?"

"Can we please change the subject, if we’re going to be talking this whole time, we might as well talk about something happy."

"Ok...my life is pretty happy, we'll talk about that"

"Sure why not"

"Well...I love my life because I get away with so many things I should be getting in trouble for"

"Like what?"

"I learned a spell from a Unicorn that lets me change into a working earth pony and a normal earth pony. I use them to ditch my job and earn some extra bits. One time, me and some other ponies where carrying a mare in a carriage when all of a sudden, we got attacked by these other mares who wanted to talk with the one we were carrying. They offered us more bits to slow down, then the other mare offered us even more bits to speed up! It was a good day"

"Let me get this straight...you ditch your job to earn more bits?"

"Yup"

"But...you’re a doctor; some pony may really need your help"

"It's fine, they got other doctors"

"That's heartless"

"Your calling me heartless...you killed two ponies"

Shining growled at that comment.

"Besides” Skit continued, “I don't just do other jobs when I ditch work...I also host awesome party's. I was party king in Manhattan...before I had to go"

"Why did you have to leave?"

"I was caught and fired. I was then fired from every city in Equestria. Ponyville’s that last place left"

"Wow...you may be the worst doctor in the history of Equestria"

"Yea well I'm the best party host in Equestria!"

"I don't know about that"

"What? You know some pony better?"

"I do"

"What's his or her name?"

"It's..."

Shining remembered that he killed Pinkie.

"I...I forget her name"

"Her? There's no way a female is better at partying then me. I got to meet this pony"

Shining sheds a tear...he truly regretted killing Pinkie Pie and Big Macintosh.

"Do think there any closer?" Shining asked, trying to change the subject.

"I don't know, these tracks keep going and going and going...I'm sure we'll reach them before dawn"

"I hope so...I just want this whole thing to be over already"

"Sooooo....what happened to all the ponies in Ponyville?"

"Slither forced them to leave when he threatened to kill them all"

"So...is Slither like...a monster or something?"

"He's a Dark Race, there banished ponies...well there ancestors where"

"I see, that's uh....that's interesting"

Final Chapter to Arc One: Revenge - Chapter 7: Defeat

After looking through the window, walls emerged from the floor, separating every pony in the hall. Moonlight decided to have a talk with Applejack first. He appeared in front of Applejack.

"Don't you dare hurt mah friends! Or I'll...I'll kill you!" Applejack yelled.

"Oh Applejack, that's why your one of my favorites...you'd fight for your friends until the end” Moonlight said, “ I was once like that...I did have friends once you know. I would like to consider you a friend Applejack. I could really use a truthful noble pony like you on our team"

"I'll never join you"

"I'll cut you a deal...I'll spare your whole family and your beautiful farm if you join me"

"No"

"What would your parents say...you have a chance to save the Apple family line and you say no?"

"Don't you dare mention mah parents"

"Oh I know all about your parents Applejack. I know they died when you too young to even remember. You know...I bet they would be very disappointed in you rate now"

"Please stop talking about them" Applejack said, looking down.

"I know their rolling over in their graves at the fact that you will be responsible for the death of every single member in the Apple family"

Applejack began to tear up "Shut up"

"You failed them Applejack"

"Shut up!"

"Your nothing but a failure...the biggest failure in the Apple family history. Just picture it now...your sister Applebloom slowly being killed...I'll make you watch"

"SHUT UP!"

"What are going to Applejack!? Will you stand by and let your family die a slow painful death...or will you be a hero and save your bloodline"

"A hero would never join the likes of you...the answer is no...ah will always stick with mah friends and I’ll always be there to help them face off enemies like you"

"Enemies like me? You mean enemies like Discord or Queen Chrysalis? Please...you keep enemies at your doorstep, do you not remember Princess Luna was Nightmare Moon?"

"Ah won't join you"

"Ok fine, maybe this will persuade you"

A window appeared in front of Applejack. The window showed Sweet Apple Acers on fire. Applejack watched in complete horror as granny Smith was being burned alive and Applebloom held down by Dark Race soldiers. Granny Smith was screaming in such pain that Applejack covered her ears and closed her eyes.

"I think you might want to see this" Moonlight said, trying to hold back his laughter and be serious.

Applejack looked up and burst into tears when a Dark Race soldier stabbed Applebloom in the head with a spear.

"NO, APPLEBLOOM!"

Applejack continued to cry until she noticed that her tears where red. She checked some of the it on her hoof and saw that it was blood.

"That is the blood of your family Applejack” said Moonlight, “none of this will ever happen unless you join me"

Applejack stopped crying and put her hoof down. She looked at Moonlight with a look of honor and loyalty on her face.

"Mah family will be just fine, you know why? Cuz where gonna stop you and put an end to your reign of darkness!"

"Just because you ponies seem to beat every enemy you in encounter thorough you 'friendship is magic', doesn't mean you’re gonna stop me. I'm not going to rule over Equestria...I'm going to make Equestria burn...and when it's all over; Equestria will be nothing but ashes”, Moonlight smiled.

"Moonlight, please stop this...you where probably like Twilight once weren't you? You where probably smart in magic like Twilight too, cuz ah know you where Princess Celestia’s student once as well"

"That was a long time ago..."

"What happened to your friends Moonlight? You could really use them rate now"

"There...I....I don't need friends anymore! I could care less about where they are now"

"Who where they?"

"You want me to tell you there names? So you can go find them in hopes they can reform me? You’re not leaving Canterlot Applejack...none of you are...your all going to die here"

Before Applejack could say anything else, Moonlight disappeared.

It was night...Fluttershy, Rarity, and Spike where sleeping next to a fire. Fluttershy awoke from a horrifying nightmare, she screamed in terror as she opened her eyes and sat up.

"Um...Rarity" she asked.

Rarity moaned and opened her eyes.

"What is it Fluttershy?"

"I...I can't sleep"

"Well that's your problem, why did you have to wake me up?"

"Because, um...I want to talk"

"Your fine, we don't need to talk"

"Um...please?"

"Rarity sighed, "ok fine, what do you wanna talk about?"

Rarity sat up.

"Well...do....do you remember every bit of pain when Rainbow Dash killed you?" Fluttershy asked.

"That's wasn't Rainbow Dash"

"I know...but do you?"

"Of course I do...I had never felt that much pain in my life"

"I think I was the one who suffered the most at the hooves of Rainbow"

"Please...my horn was ripped off and I was impaled by diamonds which fell from the ceiling” Rarity shivered when she thought of the pain, “There's no way you went through worse them that"

"...My hoof was trapped in a bear trap as I watched Angle be crushed by Rainbows hoof. I was them slowly eaten alive by wolves"

Rarity stared at Fluttershy with sadness and pity

"I can't believe you had to go through that...I can't believe we all had to go through being murdered"

"You know things will never be the same right?"

"Yea...I know"

"I know you won't want to agree with me...but you know none of us will ever be able to look at Rainbow Dash the same"

"I know...but we can't ignore Rainbow...she's been through too much, she needs us...you will stick with her right?"

"Of course I will, Rainbow is my best friend and I will never abandoned her"

"That's good to hear...now common, let’s get some sleep"

"I'm really going to miss Pinkie"

"So will I...so will I"

"Her and Big Mac where just brought back to life...only for their lives to be taken by a pony they thought they could trust"

Rarity's thoughts went mad when Fluttershy mentioned the colt that killed her best friend.

"Where not going to let him kill us, you hear me Fluttershy?" Rarity said sternly.

"We have to get back to Canterlot" said Fluttershy.

"Yes we do, but if Shining finds the three of us...we will fight back...and..."

"...and what?"

"...and....and kill if we have to"

Fluttershy gasped, "But Rarity, that's Twilight's brother"

"We'll do what we have to... Equestria needs the Elements of Harmony...we must not fail. Twilight couldn't blame us for doing what's right"

"I guess"

"Ok, we've been up way to long, let’s go back to bed, I'll see you in the morning"

“I can’t believe I’m sleeping the dirt” Rarity thought as she lied back down.

Moonlight decided to test Rainbow Dash next...with all she's been through, Moonlight was sure he'll make her crack. He appeared in front of Rainbow and smiled, Rainbows frowned at him.

"What do you want?” she said with anger in her voice.

"You know you’re a lot stronger than I thought you where Rainbow...but do you really think any pony will see you as a hero after all this is over. They’re going to look at you like they did when you killed Pinkie, Applejack, and Big Mac. They’re going to see you as the Pegasus who murdered all her friends"

"I know what you’re doing Moonlight, and it won't work!"

“Ok fine, go back to your so called 'friends' and attempt to defeat me. Let’s just say for fun that you do defeat me...what then. I want you to really think about that...imagine that you all defeated me and are now going back to Ponyville. You all take a well deserved nap and then....you tell me. What will happen them...you know as well as I that your friends are going to have nightmares about what you did to them. Seeing you will bring back the memories so they will avoid you. And what about Scootaloo? I bet you every time she closes her eyes; she sees your smiling face with Applejack's dead body in the background. Things will never be the same and your friends will abandoned you"

Rainbow Dash stared at Moonlight in sadness...he knew it was working.

"You think the Wonderbolts will ever accept you...no pony will ever accept you...you will die alone"

Rainbow’s heart sank, she began to cry as she took in what Moonlight had said.

"You’re not worth anything anymore Rainbow"

An inner anger started to build up inside her, “This...this is all your fault!!!"

Rainbow lunged towards Moonlight, he dodged her by disappearing. Rainbow went thorough the smoke and hit her head on the wall. She got up and looked around her to see where Moonlight was.

"Common you coward!” she yelled, "I bet your nothing without your magic powers! I could beat the snot out of you if you fought me without any powers"

This offended Moonlight, so he appeared in front of Rainbow again, "OK Rainbow, you think you’re so good at fighting? Let’s put that to the test, I'll take away my powers and you can't fly...the winner gets to kill the other...agreed?"

Rainbow smiled, "agreed"

The wall went down; Rainbow saw the other walls in the hall that has her friends imprisoned in. She and Moonlight stared down each other before Rainbow lunged at him...the fight began. Rainbow jumped and used her front hooves to smash Moonlights's head on the floor. Moonlight used his back hooves to kick Rainbow forward off of him. She quickly got back up and tackled him to the ground. She then began to punch him in the face again, and again, and again. When she stopped, Moonlight looked up at Rainbow who standing over him with a sadistic grin on her face. Moonlight began to be afraid when Rainbow's grin got bigger

"What's a matter Moonlight? I thought you enjoyed seeing me infected"

"Bu...but you’re not infected anymore"

"Do you think my mind can just cool down after being tormented by the voice of the infection. I remember how to act exactly like I did when I was killing my friends. You are a sick and evil pony and you deserve to die” Rainbow began to sing the song she sung when she killed her friends, “Hush now, quiet now, it's time to lay your sleepy head. Hush now, quiet now, it's time to go to bed"

Rainbow put Moonlight in a sitting position and leaned him against a wall. She then began buck Moonlight in the head over and over again until he bled out. Moonlight was able to get enough strength to leap frog over Rainbow and grab a knife from a table. When Rainbow came at him in full force, he moved out of the way and slashed her in the side. She fell on the ground in pain. He was now standing over her smiling, "I never said you couldn't use weapons"

He was about to make the final blow with the blade, when all of a sudden Princess Celestia broke out of the walls. Moonlight quickly used his magic to trap Celestia in stronger walls. He then surrounded Rainbow in walls, deciding to spare her and went to talk with his next test subject...Luna

Moonlight appeared in front of Luna, "Luna, it’s been a long time, who've you been?"

"I know what you’re going to try Moonlight and it won't work. I've changed...I am the good princess of Equestria now, not the evil princess trying to rain in everlasting night"

"So you where trapped on the moon for a thousand years with an evil heart and nothing but hatred in your mind...and now you’re telling me that you turned good just like that? How does that happen? You could banish your sister on the moon and rule over Equestria"

"I told you I changed; the ponies showed me the power of friendship"

"They didn't show you anything, they defeated and embarrassed you"

"They helped me"

"I liked you better when you where Nightmare Moon. When I talked with you on the moon, you where so content on taking over Equestria. Don't you want to be in control anymore? Every pony thinks of you as the second best. Celestia will always be the better sister and the true ruler of Equestria"

"You can try all you want Moonlight...I will never turn on my sister again. She let me back in to her family and let me be the princess again. She is the kindest sister ever and I will not betray her"

"Luna I'm going to be straight with you...three princesses is Canterlot isn't going to be good when the Dark Race come to Equestria. Candice isn't as powerful as you two and I have special plans for Celestia. So you either join me...or die"

"I will fight and die for Equestria"

"Your choice"

Moonlight hit Luna with magic from his horn that sent her through the wall. As she slowly got up, Moonlight hit her again, sending her flying out the door. He hit her again, and again, and again. Luna jumped up and hit Moonlight with a beam of magic from her horn. He retaliated by hitting back with his magic, both beams collided and the two tried their hardest to overpower the other. Moonlight has become too strong and overpowered Luna, the beam hit her on the head, sending her flying towards the city limits. She landed hard on the ground.

Moonlight stood over Luna, "I don't know if a knife can kill an Alicorn as powerful as you, but it's worth a try...I want you to feel the blood rush out if your body. I want you to know that this was all your choice and you could have prevented it if you where smart"

Moonlight jumped at Luna with the knife but Luna hit him forward with her back hooves, sending him past the Canterlot gates. He landed on the ground and quickly tried to run back into Canterlot but Luna grabbed him and flew as fast as she could away from Canterlot.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Moonlight screamed as his power was draining.

As he was taken feather and feather away from Canterlot, he began to lose his powers, Luna threw him to the ground. She then landed in front of her fallen enemy. Moonlight painfully looked up at her as she stared down at him.

"You...are...beaten" she said, out of breath.

Moonlight dropped his head on the ground and went unconscious.

The walls went down and the ponies met up

"Where's Luna?” asked Celestia.

The ponies walked out of the castle.

"I see her!” Ace yelled

The ponies ran over to the border and saw Luna walking with a beaten and bloody Moonlight on her back. She lowered her head, causing Moonlight to fall to the ground at Celestia hooves. Luna walked away as the ponies stared down at Moonlight.
