Derpy Hooves, the resident mailmare of Ponyville, has been invited to a picnic organized by Twilight Sparkle and her friends. The chance to socialize and have a good time is too good to pass up, but she needs Rainbow Dash's help with getting the mail delivered. Rainbow Dash, meanwhile, isn't sure that inviting Derpy is the best idea.

This is the first complete fan fiction I've ever written, so I apologize in advance if it's a bit rough. I wrote it in response to the censoring of Derpy's first talking appearance on the TV show. I think that answering the criticism about Derpy positively and constructively is far better than just sanitizing the original image.
