Scootaloo looked to the floor, she knew that this might be the end, that she might need to go back to the orphanage.

"I sleep under flutter shy's bridge," Scootaloo said with a sad look on her face.

"But why? Why didn't you tell some pony, they would set you up in a nice orphanage!" Apple Bloom said, still pretty clueless of Scootaloo's situation.

"I dont want to go back, they cant make me!" Said Scootaloo, tears forming in her eyes, "They used to beat me, and i had no friends... so i ran away, to pony vile."

A long pause of silence in the tree house, Scootaloo looked to the floor and Apple Bloom and Sweetie Bell looked at each other, hoping that one would talk first.

"Please dont tell any pony..?" Scootaloo mumbled softly.

The girls glanced at each other

"We wont..." Sweetie Bell groaned.

"I promise" Continued Apple Bloom.

Scootaloo looked at her two friends in thanks, they looked back still puzzled,

"So what now?" Asked Apple Bloom, unsure of what to do.

"I dont know..." Scootaloo said, leaving the room

Before the girls could say anything, Scootaloo was gone, and was buzzing to the bridge, using her wings to boost her along.

She finally got back to see Flutter Shy outside  with her animals. She couldn't go back and risk getting seen, she would just walk around, maybe ask for some work. She trotted off to town square, there were lots of pony's in town. See stood by a wall and placed a sign, 'Odd Jobs' and after about 5 minutes, a large stallion walked up and said, "I need some ground plowing."

He paused, "A lot of ground..."

Scootaloo paused and thought about it, "How much are you paying?" She said.

"20 Bits for the whole field, you get payed after."

Scootaloo walked up to the stallion and held out her hoof, they hoof-bumped and headed off to were the stallion was taking them.

They got to a large farm and to the left was a plowing machine. it had a saddle for Scootaloo, but she had a better idea,

She slid through the saddle and went up a bit more, displaying her wings. She started to buzz and the plow started to move, it was working! She did this for about 20 minutes and by that time, it was done. she fetched the stallion and he handed her the bits.

"There's more were that came from, if you're up for it!"

Scootaloo nodded with joy.
