The Life Of A Homeless Filly

Scootaloo woke up early the next morning to hear a strange but familiar mumbled voice calling "Scootaloo, your coming with me!"

She quickly got up and sprung open the cold trapdoor, it was still dark but the little bit of sun that Celesta had rose, was creating a silhouette out of the large group of ponies. She could see one Pegasus in the sky and about 7 different ponies on the ground, varying in size. She heard the voice again "Come on Scootaloo! Come home!"

She thought back, she only had one home, the orphanage, the one she had ran away from, they were coming to take her back.

She buzzed off, leaving the bits she had earned the previous day, behind.

The group seemed to be catching up with her, the Pegasus at front, Scootaloo had no way of running, so she started glancing side to try and find somewhere to hide. she seen a small hole in the tree and instantly dived in. she caught her wing on it and landed with a thud. She planted her face into the cold soil and screamed in pain. The group of ponies ran past, causing the roof of the hole to drop dirt on Scootaloo's head and on the cut on her wing. She screamed once again, she was in massive pain. The group that were looking for her, now knew that she lived under Flutter shy's bridge and it would be too risky to go back to collect her bits. So she was stranded, no home, no bits and no pony to go to. She crawled out of the hole, she thought about going to the girls to tell them about all that had happened, and that somepony was out to get her, but that would be putting them in danger, especially if Scootaloo now counted as a fugitive. She couldn't do that to her only friends.

Scootaloo started heading to town, maybe some pony would know how to get to the next town, or maybe know a way out of this.

When she got to town, ponies were staring at her, she felt a little bit awkward, and by the time she was at town center, a large group of ponies were staring at her, silently. Silently until a voice spoke out,

"Isn't that Scootaloo? She needs to go home!"

Suddenly ponies started crowding round her, Scootaloo leaped off, using her wings to provide a little bit extra height in her jump, but she landed with a crack, she had broken her leg.

At that point Scootaloo was filled with pride and despair, pride in how high her wings had taken her, and despair in that she had broken her leg. For some reason he leg had went numb but she didn't think anything of it as all her thoughts were on getting away, fast! The crowd of ponies didn't seem to run that fast, in fact they weren't running at all, they were just trotting while calling her, "Scootaloo, come back!"

After 3 minutes of hopping frantically, Scootaloo  fell to the floor, her leg was no longer numb and all of the pain hit her at once, she let out a hedge scream.

She could still see town and knew that somepony would be able to hear her, so using all her might, she pulled herself up and started to hop once again. As soon as she put any weight on the broken leg, her skin split and started gushing with blood, she let out another ear-parsing scream, causing birds to fly out of the tree's around her. She didn't have the energy to trot, and she knew that if she stayed still any longer, they would find her, so she tried to climb a tree but got half way and started losing the last bit of strength she had and fell to the floor, scraping all of her body across the rigid bark. She hit the floor with a loud thud, she could see that she was bleeding and she slowly started bleeding everywhere her vision slowly blacked out.

She started seeing blurred images again after being woken up by noises, she looked around to see the red ground around her and at least half of the town standing around her. Up close was 2 unmistakable figures, a cyan blue rainbow-maned Pegasus and a purple Unicorn, it was Rainbow Dash and Twilight, they were speaking, she couldn't make out what they were saying, as her senses were still weak, but she could see Twilight pointing here hoof to her and looking at Rainbow. Scootaloo turned her head to Rainbow and muttered the words "Help... Me..."

Scootaloo took one more look at Rainbow and her senses started kicking in, she could see the blank look on Rainbows face and the back of her hoof in the air.

"Good bye for now Scoot..." Rainbow said while punching Scootaloo in the face with full force.

Scootaloo's head was forced to turn to the side, The last thing she saw before shutting down, was Twilight's horn start admitting fire.
