Episode 1: A Dream?
I walked through the woods in the middle of the night, the everfree to be exact as sweat ran down from my head to my hooves I wondered if this was a dream or a nightmare. I continued through as twigs snapped beneath my hooves and trees whispered in my ears. Many small bushes tickled my legs as I walked along a path. Suddenly a glimmer of light shined it's way towards me causing me to freeze in place and become a statue for a brief second, but for some reason the light felt very inviting with a hint of warmth that made me go forward to the light without hesitation. The closer to the light I came the warmer I felt with that I sprinted to it no regrets only happiness then suddenly without warning the safe haven of light vanished. I came upon the spot of where the light shined from to only be fooled by true bliss.
Was this light really there? Am I going Crazy? Where could it possibly illuminate from? Am I dreaming? I thought in fact why was I out here? How did I get he- My thoughts were interrupted by a hysteric laugh coming from a distance in which I stood in the direction of. The laugh grew louder which put ice in my veins, but I had to stallion up and see what all the commotion was about. The everfree forest seemed beautiful in the night as I approached bushes and behind those bushes was the laughter I was hearing. I stopped at the tip of the bushes to gather courage and look through. With a couple of deep breathes I slowly poked my muzzle through, slowly my head followed.
"What!?" I said aloud as nothing stood before me, except the moon and the plenty of trees that covered the everfree. I let a sigh release from my lips as I pulled my head out of the bushes. "Could of been worse?" I said reassuring myself "How so?" A voice replied feeling a hoof touch my back in a concerned way. I stood there motionless afraid of what might happen next. "Are thou going to stand there for the remainder of the night? Or will thy have to move thee with force?" The voice questioned I realized only one pony who talks like or should I say princess. I slowly turned my head to see no other than princess Luna I had never felt so relieved and happy. I exclaimed "Princess Luna? What are you doing out here? Why are you out here? Shouldn't you be in-" She placed a hoof to my mouth. "Quiet shouldn't you be home or at least not wandering out in the middle of the night? Besides I'm here to investigate the strange happenings going on around here and I must say you sure are brave." She stated in a high manner.
"Princess Luna I don't know what has been going on, but I'd like to ask what was-" I was interrupted by another wave of her hoof. "I know what you're going to ask and yes the light and laughter were me and sometimes I enjoy........." She choked on her words before saying "The night a little too much and I just break in to hysteric laughter." I looked at her very confused, she blushed a little at the thought of laughing at the night. I guess a little of Nightmare Moon lingered in her still. I thought to myself. I regained my posture and looked at her like a curious little foal she gave a reassuring smile and continued to walk through the woods as if nothing was the matter. I knew she was right on me being out here so late I turned to walk away and find my way out of the everfree forest. "Beam Lighting?" I heard as I walked turned to see Princess Luna looking at me with her wings expanded outwards. How did she know my name? I thought "I'm a Princess Luna I have to know names." She said with seriousness as her eyes grew a white. "Now it's time for you to WAKE UUPPPP!!!!!!" She yelled and lunged towards.
"AAAaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!" I screamed as I woke up on the train I looked around to see many pony glances and stares as some looked concerned and others annoyed. I blushed as I apologized the conductor walked downed the aisle of the train and stopped with a concerned look "You alright there Mr......?" The conductor said stretching the mister. "Beam Lighting and yes I'm fine just a nightmare." I completed with a friendly smile. "Well glad to hear, We reach ponyville in about 10 minutes, may I ask why a big business owner like you is heading over to a small town like ponyville?" He asked. "We'll the lighting business is a bit slow and I figured to vacation somewhere nice like ponyville." I said with a tired tone. "We'll enjoy your vacation Mr. Lighting I must tell the other passengers we're about to arrive." He said looking at his golden worn out watch and continued about informing the other ponies. I turned towards the window to see ponyville getting closer. I had a feeling deep in my stomach this wasn't going to be much of a vacation.

Episode 2: Off The Train
The train halted to a stop as the whistle blew informing anypony around to hear I stood by the doors with a saddlebag on my back awaiting for the door to open. Slowly they opened as I saw ponies waiting for others and ponies saying goodbye getting ready to leave I stepped out of the train my hoof stepping in to ponyville not knowing I crossed the threshold. I looked around to find some bakery shop or something and go from there and find a house a friend said I could stay in. I looked up to see a sign that read "Sugarcube Corner" I looked up from there to see the sun floating high above us and by celestia's sun was it hot. Which gave me more reason to get to my friends and put my hooves up and relax. I couldn't stop thinking about how a business pony like me was well known only in high places such as canterlot, but anywhere else was a real rarity.
I had just got off the train and my mind was wondering if anypony knew me here it's not like I seek attention it's just that it surprises me how little I'm known in small towns like ponyville. Looking on the streets as I walked everypony seemed happy as I saw a brown stallion with a cutie mark of a hourglass he waved towards me with a warm friendly smile and I waved back with a smile as well. Everypony here seemed friendly and happy.
I finally arrived "My friend said it has four blue horseshoes on the door." I reminded myself as I quickly found it pulled out a key with my teeth opening it and trotted in closing the door with my tail. "Nice Place" I said admiring the decor and hearing my hooves echo off the wooden floor. I looked out of the window to see the sun setting revealing an orange pink sky I gave a smile at the sight I always felt warm and happy looking at the sun set just like I used to do with my mom before she passed away.
--Flashback--
I stood there at my mother's bed side holding in my tears she looked at me with those crystal blue eyes. "Son I love you very much that I can't leave without telling you that." She said, I looked at her looking for words to say she grabbed my hooves and I nuzzled her on the neck knowing her time was coming she whispered "Lighting can you make me two promises?" Without hesitation I said "Yes mom, what is it?" I asked eagerly to know my mother's final wish. "First I know you're a busy stallion, but please at the end of each day please look at the sunset to remind you how life truly is beautiful and smile a little just because I'm leaving you doesn't mean I won't be there with you." She said with a weak smile and rubbing lighting's mane making him smile.
"Secondly...." She said while letting go of my hooves and fetching an all light blue necklace with a crystal at the end of it."I want you to have this necklace, it will protect you from danger and darkness always look towards the blue light" She said while putting the necklace around my neck and tears flowed freely from her eyes. And for the last time we hugged tears from both of us knowing it was her time."I love you" I said as she faded away in my hooves.
--Flashback End--
I stood there with tears in my eyes remembering what had happened and how my mom got me to make a silly promise looking at the sunset every night. I continued staring while holding my blue crystal necklace and remembering protection, but of course I kept it because I don't break promises. "Tap Tap Tap" I heard a knock on the door and went to see what it was. I didn't realize opening the door could result in what would happen next.

Episode 3: Sunset's,Train's, and Night
Episode 3: Sunset's and Night
I walked to the door wiping my muzzle and eyes of any remaining tears it would be embarrassing for anypony to see a new pony crying on his first day here or should I say night. I opened the door to see a purple unicorn with a darker purple main with another two streaks of purple and pink. "Hi there I'm Twilight Sparkle and I was wondering if.." She stopped in mid sentence her eyes wide and her mouth dropped at the sight of me. I said "Hello Twilight Sparkle I'm Beam Lighting, but please call me Lighting." While holding my hoof out for a hoofshake, she just stared as I awkwardly looked around wondering why this unicorn was just staring. She finally broke saying "You...... I've se-seen......you." She said stuttering on her words and hesitating.
I widened my eyes at the assumption I've never seen this pony and where she seen me I've never been here or well known here in any particular way. "I've seen you in my dreams detail by detail the grey dark hair, a mix of three shades of grey on the tail, grey stallion, dark blue eyes, light blue necklace with a crystal and a cutie mark of a lantern radiating light." Twilight said without stumbling on her words and with a serious face of a wonder bolt. I laughed "Great detail you've seemed to capture the way I look" I said walking out of the house. "You've also have a scar on the bottom of your front right hoof." Twilight said now creeping me out only few ponies know about my scar and the story with it.
"You seem to know quite a lot of detail about me just from a dream." I stated in interest of what she might say next. "No that's all I know about you from my dream's, I swear if I knew anything else I'd tell you Lighting." She said with uncertainty as I looked at her while I closed the door and stood outside under the fading pink orange sky which was turning blue. I could feel the night coming.
"A strange introduction don't you agree?" I said in an uncomfortable manner. "Very." Twilight said hoofing the ground in embarrassment. "Look I'm so sorry I'll talk to you later when I put this together!" Twilight exclaimed while she did a mad dash to what looked like a tree house. I thought of telling her to wait, but I decided to walk around and check out this Ponyville place. I simply decided to trot around Ponyville in the ever growing night not knowing that this night would be a long one. For some strange reason as I walked enjoying the beauty of the glowing white moon in the multiple blue colored sky of the night, I could feel something strange in the Everfree Forest, but I just couldn't put a hoof on it.
The setting of me walking out of Ponyville into the Everfree was slowly happening as I felt a nagging need to head into the Everfree Forest, but the closer I was I felt uneasy and I planted my hooves unable to move like two personalities of me split. One edging me on to go in the Everfree and the other to head back to Ponyville. My mind battled with many cons and pros about the situation. Why am I acting like this? What's wrong with me? My Head!! I thought to myself this completely wasn't like me the pain quickly built in my head. "AAAAAaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!" I yelled as I suddenly felt light headed and collapsed. I looked up to see a yellow blurry image galloping my way and then I blacked out.
---Meanwhile.....---
A white Pegasus named Cobalt Cloud is waiting in Canterlot about to leave to Ponyville. He walks into the train feeling a weird sensation of something bad happening. He walks over to the first seat he see's and sits on his haunches and stares at the moon outside the window only to notice a young unicorn staring at him from across the aisle. "Excuse me ma'am is there something in particular you're looking at?" The white Pegasus questioned with a raised brow. "Yes, Their seems to be." The young dark blue unicorn said while getting up and walking across the aisle with an very interested look and sitting across from him directly. "Is that so and what would that be?" Cobalt said in a curious way. "Your cutie mark, what does it resemble?" The dark blue unicorn added and gestured her hoof to his flank.
Cobalt Cloud looked around to see many eyes now looking taking notice in his unusual cutie mark. "What does it mean mister?" A young filly said looking intensely at his flank and getting closer even extending their hoof wanting to touch it. Cobalt started to blush as questions started to bombard him about his cutie mark. Cobalt covered up his mark with a briefcase he'd been carrying around. He soon had a huge audience like as if he was some sort of freak show. His face burned bright and red from the blushing so hard he thought he was going to die of embarrassment. "Alright leave him alone he's just travelling and happens to have a strange cutie mark can't you see you're all making him uncomfortable." The dark blue unicorn said in a stern voice and the audience dispersed and went back to there seating. "Heh, sorry about that I didn't think it I was loud enough sorry I brought attention here." The dark blue unicorn said in a remorseful voice. Cobalt sat back up quickly looking around seeing everypony went back to there seats paying no mind.
"I'm Blue Pearl the unicorn." She stood on her seat with pride in her voice and in a singing voice. "I'm Cobalt Cloud the Pegasus, but please call me Cobalt." Cobalt said mimicking Blue Pearl exactly. "Glad to see you're not embarrassed anymore and not as quiet as thought you were going to be." Blue Pearl said with a contagious smile. "Well thank you, do I really look like a quiet pony?" Cobalt asked with a concerned look. "Yeah you do I think it has something to do with your hair or coat? Perhaps you should let me do a makeover on you sometime. "Blue Pearl said poking and prodding his pony features of his mane, tail, and coat. "Perhaps."
Suddenly the Conductor yelled "Allllllllll Aboooooaaaarrrrrrrrdddddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!" The train whistle blew and echoed through Canterlot as the train slowly pulled away. "Goodbye Canterlot, Hello Ponyville." Blue Pearl said while waving her hoof to the city. "Where are you headed?" Blue Pearl asked as she floated her briefcase towards her seat and sat against it. "Coincidence I'm going to Ponyville as well, but something in the back of my mind is telling me danger lies there." Cobalt said in a shaken voice. "Hey it's just that you're leaving the comfort zone of Canterlot and I'm sure we all feel we are in danger when we're not in the safety of home." Blue Pearl said in hugging Cobalt. Cobalt wasn't one for hugging ponies he just met, but in a comforting way he'd make an exception. "Thanks you're probably right." Cobalt said pulling away from the hug. "You know by doing this we are now friends." Blue Heart implied as she sat down. Cobalt didn't really think of making friends just only leaving Canterlot and settling some place else. "I guess it does and somepony to talk to." Cobalt said with a huge smile.
Blue Pearl looked at Cobalt only to see happiness in his eyes as he looked out the window. She knew she had made him happy, but wasn't sure how much, she sensed hints of sadness on him. Blue Pearl thought it'd be best not to ask. "Hey Cobalt!" Blue Pearl said. "Yeah." Cobalt looked still with a smile. "So when does this somepony to talk to start?" Blue Pearl said playfully. "Sorry got lost in my thoughts." Cobalt stated with a blush. "I can tell with that smile on your face." Blue Pearl replied. Cobalt blushed more and realized Blue Pearl was reading him like a book. "Well then why are you headed to Ponyville?" Cobalt asked beginning the conversation. "To see if Ponyville will be the right place for me and just enjoy a small quiet town while resting my hooves and you?" Blue Pearl said while showing her weary hooves. "Well to leave Canterlot and settle and what not, but I'm not completely sure I'm just winging it." Cobalt said while flexing his wings at the funny pun. "Hahahahaha! Good one I'm just winging it mainly too, except I'm bluing it." She laughed at her own joke then slowly said "I know I can be a bit a lame and not funny at times, but please a courtesy laugh wouldn't hurt." Cobalt then gave a grin and then a "HA!" Blue Pearl then said "At least try like this." She then tickled Cobalt's belly and when he covered his tummy. She attacked his wings sending Cobalt into a laughing hysteria "Alright hahaha Alright I'll prahahactice my hahaha courtesy hahahahahahaha." Cobalt didn't need to finish as she hit a sensitive spot on cobalts left wing. "I think you've had enough."
Blue Pearl sat down as Cobalt sat up slowly with a goofy grin on his face and shook it off. "Now Ponyville just winging huh? Well maybe we can stay together for awhile?" Blue Pearl asked. "Maybe that can be arranged and why tickling?" Cobalt asked never really being tickled. "Because it's a great weapon and you can make almost anypony talk." She said as leaned into Cobalt and pulled a feather from his wing and placing it in her briefcase. "It's true!" said a little filly from in back of Cobalt. Blue Pearl seemed like a very interesting mare to Cobalt she's very interesting."Anyways shall we continue our conversation" Blue Pearl said with a warm smile. Cobalt Cloud and Blue Pearl then talked about anything that popped into there minds from music to art to hobbies and even their favorite princess.
---Back In Ponyville.....---
The world seemed very blurry and out of focus as I tried very much to focus and also that it was very difficult to move my body I couldn't see, but that didn't mean I couldn't feel or hear. I felt I was lying on my side on a bed with my body covered and couple of pillows my hooves rested on. I could tell the pillows were placed there another thing was the smell of food maybe some type of soup. I heard hoof steps coming from the bottom of and knew I was on the second floor of something now if only my eyes could only adjust or something.
The hoof steps slowly became louder my heart began to race at the thought of being helpless and defenseless to whomever was walking up those steps. The best thing to do and buy myself time is to pretend to still be asleep and hope nothing serious will happen. I closed my eyes now completely in darkness as the hoof steps could be heard in the room I lied still listening intently to the other pony with great caution assuming it was a pony. The mysterious pony touched my right front hoof and positioning my hoof comfortably which I figured whoever this pony is really is making me comfortable figuring that their had been a pillow practically placed for each individual hoof which indeed is very kind.
I then felt a hoof squarely on my forehead just by the touch it felt gentle and warm like a loving mother taking care of a young sick filly. "He might be running a fever, poor guy wonder what happened to him?" The mysterious pony said in the kindest sweetest voice. My fears evaporated as that sealed the deal that this pony wasn't looking to harm, but greatly help and was a sweet mare.
I slowly opened my eyes to hear a gasp. "Huh you're awake." The blurry yellow pink mare spoke. "Sorry to be straight forward, but please I can't see anything only a fuzzy and blurry image." I quickly said concerned my sight may be forever lost or something of that great magnitude. She quickly stopped me from reaching my eyes to rub them. "Don't do that here this will help tilt your head up." She stated and without hesitation I tilted my head upwards. "This will sting a bit and keep your eyes open." I could see a blurry image of a hoof above where I was looking and suddenly droplets fell into my eyes as a sharp sting quickly overcame in such a pain that it only lasted a couple of seconds.
"There your sight should return in a couple of minutes, but please relax your so tense." She said activating her sweet and kind voice that could melt even the coldest heart. "I'm sorry I'm not one for relaxing much and may I please recover my eyesight before we continue talking." I said as lied there trying to focus as if it was going to work. "Sure just tell me when you can see." She said I nodded and stared regaining my sight very slowly.
The world adjusted into existence as I could now see the ceiling perfectly I looked over to my left to see a yellow pegasus with pink hair staring at me twiddling her hooves together in a nervous manner. "Oh My! I hope you don't mind me saying, but you have beautiful eyes they're even more clear than before." The pink haired pegasus complimented. "Thank you I have my mother's eyes just darker blue." I said while showing a little blush. "Oh I almost forgot my name is Fluttershy, what's yours?" The yellow pegasus stated with a bit of shyness. "Well hi Fluttershy I'm Beam Lighting, although just call me Lighting." I said while looking closely at the bed I happened to be lying on. "Well Lighting I happened to be out this late tending to the late night owls when suddenly I see you scream and collapse I have to admit you gave me quite a scare from the looks of what I saw I thought I was too late to save you, but just as you fell I ran to you. In the back of my mind I had to do something to help a pony in need so I picked you up brought you to my cottage and here we are." Fluttershy told me as sounded concerned in her story.
"Well thank you Fluttershy I swear to Luna or Celestia I will repay somehow I am in your debt." I said while bowing towards Fluttershy making her blush. "No you don't need to do that I'm pretty sure if you were in my horseshoes you would of done the same thing." Fluttershy replied with generosity in her voice.
I looked out the window to see the beauty of the night reflecting against the Everfree I wondered what a delicate kind pony like Fluttershy would be doing out here practically close to the Everfree. I turned my gaze to my body which appeared limp and I moved them stretching the muscles. Hearing popping sounds and me sighing in relief of moving them from their comfort spots. "How long was I out?" I asked while stretching in bed. "An hour at most you looked very hurt, but nothing seems to be wrong only a slight fever." Fluttershy said in nurse like manner. I slid from under the covers onto the wood floor. Immediately I felt two things the cold floor and hooves holding me.
"No you shouldn't go! you're not rested enough!" Fluttershy quickly pushing back into bed while I tried to fight it. "Thanks for your hospitality and helping me, but please...." I said giving her puppy eyes. "...I must go." I finished as we stared into each others eyes.
"Alright I can see you're not going to stay the least you can do is eat some of the soup I made for you." Fluttershy inquired as let up and waited for an response. "Okay fair trade, but can I eat it all." I replied she quickly gave me a strange look. "Because I haven't eaten since I arrived here." I quickly responded with a blush and a smile. She returned a warm smile "of course, I'll bring it up."
I walked outside feeling the cold dark night and leaving the warm cottage where I had just eaten and had a conversation being new to ponyville and how she loved and cared for animals. I turned to Fluttershy and waved goodbye and walked over a small bridge that laid over a small creak. I didn't tell Fluttershy, but I was going back to Everfree Forest I could honestly say that wasn't my best idea.
