Banished into exile after the Great War before the creation of Equestria, Sunstriker, the brother of the Solar and Lunar Princesses, is designated a new role in society when returned to Canterlot. Initial suspicions are aroused as the once-alicorn leaves his own people in jeopardy and chaos when the magical barrier protecting the pony populated society is shattered, allowing the creatures of myth's past to enter and create a living hell. Princess Luna has left, Celestia is captured, and in the midst of the chaos, it's up to Sunstriker and six mares who wield the most powerful items in existence to save the ones they love from certain death, and save Equestria itself, and do so by traveling to the most dangerous place in existence: Mount Revolution.
