//-------------------------------------------------------// Loyalty -by Rainbow Austin- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue: Rainbow's Dark Past //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue: Rainbow's Dark Past The rain pounded against the windows of a majestic cloud home. The lights were out but the sounds of shaking told otherwise. Under her covers lied a cyan filly with a flowing rainbow mane. Each crash of lightning caused a jump in the blankets that was covering the young Pegasus. Her personality may have been confident and outgoing, but when it came to the littlest things, she was shy and fearful. Her only defense against the torrent of rain that was crashing against the window was a blanket that provided a false sense of security. The shaking continued for a good thirty minutes when she heard a slamming of a door. A usual occurrence, but each time seemed harder than the last. Dad is probably home. The cyan pony was used to her father staying out late at night, coming back tipsy as a unicorn. While it first shocked her when he first came home in this state, she has lately settled into this as a requirement of the night. Another slamming door was heard. Mother... She heard the sound of her parents speaking, a hint of anger and fury in her mothers voice, while her father drunk as a sailor. The conversation quickly arose into an argument, one with power in her voice, the other slurring but nonetheless still putting up a fair fight. The volume quickly escalated to the point at which the doors began to shake. These arguments may have been common, this one seemed to be the most rage worthy. Each yell caused a chill to run through the filly's back as if it were a lightning bolt was traveling through her, like the one on her flank. Another flash of lightning sent the filly through the roof. At this scream, the two yelling parents became silent. The mare heard footsteps coming quickly up the stairs. She was taken from her fearful state when she heard the door of her cloud room open up. There stood her mother, Starlight. She was a white mare with a purple mane. Her eyes were a shade of red not unlike the ones that grew on the earth below. She noticed that her little Dashie was shaking uncontrollably. She had only seen her shake this bad one other time in her life; the day she found out her daddy was filing for divorce. She could not comprehend why they were splitting up. Her reasoning was that it may have been her fault. Perhaps she was just a bad filly who angered her parents so much that they couldn't take it any more. Starlight moved in closer to the rainbow maned Pegasus, holding her tight next to her chest. As quickly as she became close to Dash, she heard a shout come through the hallway. "I'M OUT OF HERE YOU BITCH!" The door slammed quickly after that and heard the sound of a bang that only a Pegasus taking off could make. "Is daddy coming back?" the filly asked with watery eyes that caused her mother to tense up. She began to feel uneasy at the realization that she may never see her father again. The rainbow mare only got the response of a nod as she drifted back off to sleep. The morning dew arose to tease Rainbow Dash awake. She slowly got out of her bed and walked over to the kitchen, trying as hard as possible not to make any noise. Dash began to make herself some breakfast, the usual toast and cereal. As she dropped the bread into the toaster, she began to make herself some cereal. She grabbed the cereal and milk like any other morning. As she put down the two ingredients, she grabbed a bowl with her mouth. As she lifted it out of the cabinet, she felt the bowl begin to slip. Within seconds, the cloudy floor became dented, and a sickeningly loud CRACK was made as the bowl made contact with the ground. The pony looked down, freaking about how her mother would murder her. But something she noticed immediately was that there was no stir coming from the bedroom. Usually when she broke something (she wasn't called Rainbow Crash for nothin!) her mother would be instantly out of her room. This morning, no sound. Sensing that something may have been different, she crept into her mothers room. As she slowly opened the door, the bed of her mothers slowly came into view.....without her mother in it. All that was there was a crumbled up piece of paper that had what appeared to be her mothers mouthwriting. She picked up the note and read: My dearest Rainbow Dash: I am extremely sorry, but I went looking for your father. He was waiting not too far from our home as if he were expecting me. He said that our marriage was on the line of a string and that you were causing him too much pain. I don't mean to seem so blunt about everything, but the truth is what is most important now. Now listen Rainbow. You will be sent to an orphanage that I have seen as absolutely delightful while we wait in Las Pegasus for you to become even more mature. Don't be angry with your father. He needs some time to himself. I don't want him out of my life. I am sorry for doing this but I have left you something that will help you remember us. It is a picture of all three of us together on our vacation to Canterlot! Remember that our love knows no bounds. Rainbow Dash. Do what I couldn't do. Be strong for me. Be strong even when the times at the orphanage may be rough. Do not worry about us or your future. You are a strong mare and I look forward to you being in the Wonderbolts. I love you Rainbow Dash. More than you love the Wonderbolts. If I could I would be there in ten seconds flat. With love for our little Wonderbolt Silverlight Dash //-------------------------------------------------------// Two Jobs for Dashie //-------------------------------------------------------// Two Jobs for Dashie BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! The alarm clock that lay beside Rainbow Dash's bed blared, awaking the Pegasus and rattling the walls. Dash's eyes rose from their eternal slumber slower than her pet, Tank. Dash lifted her legs out of her bed, while hearing sickening cracks for each movement. Her eyes may have been open but her body was still asleep. Rainbow stepped out of the room into the hallway that separated her between the bathroom, her room, and the kitchen. There was an empty room at the end of the hallway that has never been used. All that is in there is her favorite Nightmare Night costume, a Wonderbolts outfit. Dash had no idea why she had kept it, as it has been 25 years since she could fit into it. She sighed as she stepped into the kitchen, greeted by an old photograph of a smiling filly with two older looking Pegasi. She had this photo for viewing purposes. She showed no emotions as she walked by, having no relation to them. Rainbow, ignoring the photo like usual, stepped to the pantry to make the one thing she could actually cook. Cook is kind of a loose term though, as she only made cereal. Rainbow poured the cereal, hearing each flake hit the porcelein. She sat down at her cloud table, thinking about the day ahead. All she had to do was a shower at 3 for Applejack, and sun at noon, just like every day. It wasn't a requirement as much as a favor to her biggest fan, Scootaloo. Rainbow wanted her to have recess. What Pegasus can go to school and NOT have Recess after all? So, she always prevented any scheduled rains at noon until one. Dash wondered if Scoots had known that she was keeping the weather nice for her. Doubt it. I bet she's too concerned trying to get herself killed to get her cutie mark. A small chuckle weaved out of the cyan mare. After eating her breakfast, she walked over to her bathroom. Taking her shower, feeling the warm water coursing through her mane, she sat in philosophical thought. She started thinking about the Wonderbolts, but for some reason drifted into thinking about Scoots. While she was her biggest fan, it was kinda weird that she thought of her while thinking about the Wonderbolts. Rainbow's deep thoughts were interrupted when she realized she had been in the shower too long. She jumped out as fast as she could, causing a wind to fly through the bathroom. She looked in the mirror to find her hair straight. Gross. Rainbow looked over at the clock. 8:30 AM. Rainbow was already running a half hour late, so she quickly compromised in saying that the wind would fix her hair. Dash stepped out of her front door and prepped her wings. She jumped off the ground and shot downward to Ponyville. Every morning, Rainbow Dash would go by the school to wish Scootaloo a good day. For some weird reason, Rainbow saw herself in Scootaloo. Why was beyond her. But telling her to have a great day always brought a smile to her face. Rainbow landed on the ground with the most graceful pose she could make. She heard a laugh. "Whatchya doin Dashie? You're not Rarity!" Dash turned in the direction of the origin of the voice. There stood an orange filly with a beautiful magenta mane. Rainbow walked over to the little squirt and looked down at her. "Heh. At least I'm awesome enough to do that. You probably couldn't even do that if you tried." Dash responded with her always confident gusto. "Oh yea?" Scoots, looking determined, began to flap her disfigured wings. "Watch this?" She levitated on the ground for a couple of seconds, a huge feat for Scootaloo, until she fell onto the ground with a shuddering "Oof!" Whilst the Cutie Mark Crusaders that surrounded her giggled, she walked up to Scoots and gave her a pat on the head. "Still not as awesome as me, but you're getting there!" Scootaloo's eyes widened in excitement that her hero had told her that she was doing great! Dash was reminded of a certain filly when she met Spitfire for the first time. The exact same face that Scootaloo was making looked exactly like that. "Well, I gotta get off to work. See you fillies later!" Each cutie mark crusader waved as Dash flew off into the sky. Rainbow Dash flew through the sky at breakneck speeds only to be stopped by a gray pegasus in her way. "Hey! Out of the way!" "Sorry Rainbow!" It was Derpy. "I was sent to get a letter to someone and I've lost my way..." "I'll help! Who is the letter for?" "Fluttershy..." Rainbow facehoofed hard enough to where her face became red. "Derpy. You've known Fluttershy for ten years and you STILL have no idea where she lives?" Derpy looked down at the Earth below her. "No." "Look. I'll take it to her. You go...............try not to break something." She swiped the letter out of Derpy's fragile hands and flew by the Everfree Forest. On her way to Fluttershys, she looked at the letter that she was delivering. The mouthwriting looked oddly familiar. Rainbow shook this off as just being weird. Mouthwriting can look the same every now and then after all. As Dash continued to think about the letter, her skull crushed through Fluttershy's door. "Yep....pretty sure it's broken." She rubbed her head where the trauma was centered, from the facehoof and the facedoor. Rainbow quickly got up and dropped the letter off in the mail slot. Hopefully she gets it! Rainbow still couldn't help but feel she recognized that mouthwriting though. "Bah! Better shake it off. I'm being stupid as always!" Rainbow soared off into the sky, on route to her weather patrol when she noticed an orange filly walking, whilst looking down at the ground.... //-------------------------------------------------------// What's Wrong with Scootaloo? //-------------------------------------------------------// What's Wrong with Scootaloo? She appeared sad. The filly. Rainbow Dash swooped down towards the ground and landed in front of the Pegasus. Why is she not in school? The orange filly's eyes looked upwards while her head remained towards the ground. She noticed that it was her biggest hero, but showed almost no reaction. The filly walked around the mare that she had always looked up to, and continued in the direction she was going in. "Where ya goin', squirt?" the cyan mare asked. She cared deeply for Scootaloo, but she honestly could not ever show it. She had a reputation to keep up after all! "Nowhere..." the filly responded, in a soft voice a la Fluttershy. "Well, ya can't be goin' nowhere, because then you wouldn't be moving!" Rainbow Dash attempted to lighten her mood up with her very "clever" joke. "Now seriously Scoots, where are you heading off too in such a depressed mood?" "I said nowhere Dash," the filly responded, a hint of contempt in her voice. Dash was taken aback by her stubbornness, as usually when she asked a question to Scoots, she was answered immediately, in a star-studded voice. "Now come on squirt....what is the matter?" Rainbow Dash was trying her hardest now to get what was holding the filly down. "I don't want to talk about it." "You can tell good ol' Dashie. She's awesome remember?" "I SAID I DON'T NEED TO TALK ABOUT IT!" Here the filly turned around, raging with scarlet in her eyes. Dash had never seen Scootaloo like this. She always seemed to be in a good mood.....usually. Their eyes locked for what seemed like an eternity, ending only in the orange Pegasus turning around flying away. Flying a loose term of course. She appeared to be levitating, only to collapse after a couple of seconds. If it wasn't for Dash's genuine concern for the well being of Scootaloo, she would have burst out laughing. Instead, all she could do was stifle a giggle, the absolute worst sound ever to come out of a mouth from Rainbow Dash. Scootaloo turned around and stared at Dash until she stopped, then continued onward. Dash didn't know what to say. She was just told by her biggest fan to not talk to her. What could have happened that would put her in this bad mood? Had she been bullied? Something must have happened at school while she was working if the filly was that angry and not in school. Rainbow Dash did not want to give in. She flew forward and landed directly in front of Scootaloo. Scootaloo looked up, furious. "Squirt. I am going to give you five counts to tell me what is going on. 5......." The filly continued staring, not tolerant of such games. "4........" Scootaloo knew that Dash would not stop until she found out what happened. She decided to give in....on one condition though. "Dash!" She interuppted around 2. "I'll tell you what is going on but promise not to laugh okay?" "Good. So what's up?" Dash seemed relieved. "I....I......I......" Scootaloo looked nervous. "Want to try that again squirt?" "I......c-can't say it...." Without a beat, Scootaloo dashed off as fast as she could. What has gotten into that pony? The only time she has ever seen a pony act like that was the day after her dad........No. That couldn't have happened to Scootaloo. I was the only one to have that happen to herself as a filly. As Rainbow Dash continued to contemplate this, she decided to fly over to Twilight. Maybe she could help her. Maybe Dash could finally find out why Scootaloo had never told her what is wrong with her. The cyan Pegasus flew into the air towards the giant tree library. She knocked on the door. "It's open!" Twilight called out in the midst of laughter. As Rainbow Dash walked into the tree library, she found her five other friends centered around a book, giggling. The rainbow mare stared in confusion. "Oh....hey Rainbow Dash! We just got this book of the Ponyville census. It shows all the homes and residents of ponies who lived in them. What is so cool about it is that it shows the history of the home too! We just saw that Rarity's own boutique was once a saloon!" "Nice....um Dash....I need your.....HISTORY!" Just then, Rainbow Dash thought of something. That book could help her find the history of Scootaloo! Maybe it could show her what happened to her parents! "I have someone I want to look up Twi," she responded trying to calm herself down. "Sure......who?" She seemed a bit flustered by Dash's random outburst, but decided to go with it. "I need you to look up...." she took a deep breath. "Scootaloo." "Alrighty then! I'll look under S!" She cruised through the pages until she saw a picture of the orange filly. Twilight began to read each entry. She got to the bottom of the page and gasped. "What is it Twi?" "You might want to see this Rainbow," she replied shakily. The mare moved forward and looked down at the page. She saw nothing unusual on there. When she got to the bottom, she let out a shriek. On the page read this: PARENTS: SILVER STUD (DECEASED)   SUNNY DAY (DECEASED) CURRENT RESIDENCE: UNKNOWN //-------------------------------------------------------// Rainbow's Past //-------------------------------------------------------// Rainbow's Past Stunned. Remorseful. The emotions felt by Rainbow Dash. Her mind wandered back to a certain filly who woke up after a stormy night. Could Scootaloo be hiding the fact that she is homeless? If so, why? Is she embarrassed about it? Rainbow Dash had hundreds, if not thousands, of questions bombarding her mind. She stood there, in shocked and paralyzing silence. Each pony around her looked questioningly. As each read the passage that Dash had just read, each let out a gasp, only to hurt the emotions felt by the cyan pegasus. This continued for some time until Twilight broke the silence. "Umm.....Rainbow? You okay there?" She waved her hoof in front of her paralyzed friend. "Rainbow?" She slapped her. "Ow! What was that for?" Rainbow had asked, feeling the burning sensation of where she had slapped. "You seemed out of it," she replied. "So, I can't think now? Just because I'm not an egghead like you doesn't mean I can't think," Dash replied jokingly. Twilight smiled back sheepishly. "Sorry about that," she replied. "So, what do you propose we do about Scootaloo?" Rainbow asked, trying not to avoid the subject. "What do you mean?" Twilight inquired. "Did you not just read that? She has no parents and no home! She sleeps in the streets, or the clubhouse! Who knows! We need to find her an actual home!" Rainbow could sense frustration rising in her heart. "Rainbow! Get a hold of yourself! You don't know that she is on the streets! She could be in an orphanage for Luna's sakes!" Twilight seemed annoyed. "Then why wouldn't she tell me that she is in an orphanage?" Rainbow had wanted to ask as many questions as possible. "Maybe she is embarrassed! I would be too!" Each pony was stunned that Fluttershy had actually said something that could be heard in the entire room. "Oops.....sorry," Fluttershy responded when all eyes were on her. "Anyway, why are you concerned so much about her Rainbow?" Rarity jumped into the conversation now. "Because......because....," Rainbow was unable to come up with an answer. She really didn't know. She did know that maybe her past had something to do with Rainbow's want to get Scoots a home. "What if we tried to find out where Scootaloo is first. We could possibly ask her where she sleeps every night. It won't do us any good just thinking about it," Twilight said. Each pony muttered in agreement, all except for the Element of Loyalty. Once all ponies were out of the library, Twilight spoke again. "Rainbow............why don't you tell me why you really are the most concerned for Scootaloo. You really didn't care before." Crap. She really wanted to avoid this. She never wanted to get this out. "Because........my parents left me as a filly." "What?!" Twilight was absolutely stunned. "Yea. I had a whole letter and everything left for me one morning. My parents promised they would come back from Las Pegasus when I was older. Twenty years later, here I am. I don't even know what my father looks like anymore. Anytime I think of him, I think of that night," Rainbow explained, as tears began to well up in her eyes. "Rainbow.................I-I........I'm so sorry......" Twilight too was crying. "I never want any pony to ever have to go through what I had to go through again. I never did stay in the orphanage. Fluttershy was there and she said it was horrid. She flat out told me to never go there. So I lived on my own, in my parents cloud home. I took care of myself. It was the worst feeling ever. Whenever I was bullied at school, which was practically every day, there was noponies shoulder to cry on. I could only cry myself to sleep.." Rainbow was now close to a full sob. "Why didn't you ever tell anypony that they bullied you?" "Because......they would want to speak to my parents.....I never wanted to go to the orphanage. So I kept my parents whereabouts under wraps. It really wasn't so bad. The only bad part was waking up on Hearth's Warming Eve having nobody to be with, staring out at the fillies playing with their new toys. It was awful. But it still beat the orphanage. I did everything alone..." Rainbow now turned back to Twilight. "Nopony ever deserves to live the way I did.....if I have too, I will go to the ends of Equestria to get Scootaloo a good home. The question is.....who will mother her?" "Why don't you do it Rainbow? Scootaloo always looks up to you!" Rainbow hadn't thought of that. Could she really mother Scootaloo? She already loves Rainbow with a fiery passion, so why not? She contemplated the idea. As she pictured herself as a mother, another pressing matter came up. "I can't afford a child," Rainbow said. She sounded calm but the insides of her were screaming in agony. She really wanted the best for Scoots. She would give her anything, travel to the ends of the world. But being a weather pony in Ponyville didn't exactly make you a millionaire. "Do you know anyone who could help you pay for her?" Rainbow knew what she meant by that. Marriage. The answer was no. The cyan mare attempted to figure out other ways to get money. She could always take up a second job. The only problem was, who would take care of Scootaloo? If she wanted to adopt her, then she would have to give her tons of attention. Plus, she never wanted to give Scoots up. Deep down inside, she believed Scootaloo was her child. No. She IS her child. She saw Scootaloo since she was a foal. She was alone all the time, even then. How she got that scooter is beyond her. Rainbow became her big sister after the camping trip. This was a possibility. But one problem. "I gotta find Scootaloo," Rainbow said, and with a dash, she was off. //-------------------------------------------------------// Scoots and Dash //-------------------------------------------------------// Scoots and Dash Rainbow Dash soared through the clouds looking for the orange filly. She was actually quite difficult to find. She searched the field where they would sometimes meet, she searched the school, hay she even searched the Cutie Mark Crusaders clubhouse. Rainbow began to worry. What if Scoots went and got herself hurt? She quickly pushed that thought out of her mind. After about a half hour of searching, she saw the distinct magenta mane sported by an orange filly. She was over by the lake, attempting to skip rocks haphazardly. Rainbow flew downward towards her. She stepped forward with a determined look on her face. "Scoots," she said, more stern than she wished to come off as. Scootaloo seemed unresponsive to Rainbow. The cyan pegasus put a hoof on her shoulder. "I need to talk to you, please," Scootaloo looked up with sad eyes. "What is the matter?" Rainbow Dash was genuinely concerned about Scootaloo and her life. "I'm sorry I yelled at you...." Scootaloo replied trying to hold back tears. "Hey! Don't worry about it! Sometimes we all get stressed out or feel the need to vent anger! I don't blame you. I was being a bit annoying. Now Scoots. I need to ask you a very serious question," Rainbow replied. "And I won't take no for an answer, got it?" "Fine," Scootaloo replied expecting the worst. "Where do you live Scoots?" Scootaloo's eyes bolted open in fear. Rainbow had asked the worst possible question apparently. Sweat began to roll over her forehead. She appeared to be shaking now. "Home with my parents, where else?" Her eyes darted around trying to avoid looking the cyan mare in the eye. "Scoots. Quit lying. I know for a fact that your parents are both....well...." she didn't want to upset the pegasus. She decided to push past that topic. She knew Scootaloo understood. "Anyways, where do you seriously sleep at night?" "Don't be mad! Please don't laugh!" Scootaloo was now on the verge of tears. "I promise I won't laugh...." Rainbow replied, putting a hoof on her shoulder. Why would she laugh if it put Scootaloo in this type of state? "I-I....I live in the Ponyville Orphanage," Scootaloo said with guilt. "Now why would I laugh at that?" "Because, everypony at school laughed at me, especially Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon! I didn't want my hero laughing at me either!" Scootaloo let loose her tears. They streaked down her face, leaving a trail of water. Rainbow began to feel hatred to Diamond Tiara. What kind of pony would make fun of a filly for that? Diamond Tiara clearly had no emotions or caring for others. She began to hug Scootaloo. "Squirt? Is that why you left school in the first place?" Rainbow asked as she remained close to Scootaloo. "Let it all out if you have too," she said, trying to hold back tears herself. Scootaloo nodded. "Hey squirt," Rainbow looked down. "All of us love you with our deepest hearts. We want the best for you. If you ever have a problem, you know you can come to me right?" Scootaloo looked up. She gave a nod of assent. "Good. Now how about I take you somewhere. I want to show you something. Climb on my back and you will find out soon enough!" Scootaloo jumped onto Rainbow's back reluctantly, and she launched off the ground. Where were they going? Scootaloo grasped onto Rainbow's mane for dear life, hoping not to fall off. She could see how little Ponyville was from here. She had never been this high up in her life. It was truly exhilarating for her! To think that she was flying with the fastest pegasus in all of Equestria! Her thoughts were interuppted when Rainbow Dash landed on a cloud. Scootaloo looked upwards to see a giant Rainbow home standing before her. "Come on in!" Rainbow said with a smile. "Where am I?" Scootaloo inquired in awe. "You're in heaven Squirt! Just kidding. Welcome to my home. I have a little surprise for you!" She knew she probably should have consulted all the others before saying what was about to come out of her mouth. "Why don't you sit on the couch?" Scootaloo did not need to be asked twice. She entered the beautiful cloud home, adorned with pictures of Rainbow Dash and her accomplishments. The first thing that struck Scootaloo is that none of the pictures seemed to have her parents in them. She found the couch sitting in front of a painting of the Wonderbolts. Scootaloo could not help but laugh at the pegasus' eccentrics. She sat on the couch waiting for her sis. Rainbow trotted to her and sat down. She looked into Scootaloo's eyes. "Remember when I said I truly care about you?" "Yea," the orange filly replied. "Well.....I care about you so much.......no.....I love you so much......" she moved to give Scootaloo a hug. She quickly embraced the cyan pegasus. "I want you to stay with me...." Tears were now streaming out of Dash's eyes. Scootaloo looked up to Rainbow Dash with a confused look. "For how long?" Scootaloo asked. "Scoots.....I'm going to adopt you..." she noticed the filly perk up. She stared into Rainbow Dash's eyes. Now both were sobbing. Rainbow never sobbed. But when it came from her biggest fan, she could not help it. She knew she didn't have the bits to care for Scootaloo, but buck it! She wants Scootaloo to be happy! Her thoughts were broken up when Scootaloo jumped up onto Dash and began to hug her new mother. //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue Celestia's sun arose through the windows of a cloud home. The rays peeked through the shades that guarded the window. An orange filly lay, sleeping intently. When the rays pushed onto her eyes, she began to awake. The filly got up, hearing the rhythmic cracking of her sleepy back. Scootaloo jumped out of bed and took a look at her new room. Though she did move in last night, she was more concerned with getting some mother/daughter time. Rainbow Dash was her hero, fairly recently instated sister, and, now, her mother. The coolest pony in all of Ponyville was her mother! Could life get any better for the young pegasus? Scootaloo opened the door to her room checking to see if her cyan sister/mother was awake yet. Her door appeared to be opened but saw no evidence of her anywhere. Her thoughts were interrupted by a voice that was not her own. "Hey squirt!" Scootaloo jumped out of her skin only to look up and see her mother, radiant and awesome as always. Her mane seemed to be a lot neater when she wasn't flying. "You look like you've just seen a ghost. It makes sense seeing as you're scared of them," she said chuckling to herself. "Hey! I'm not scared of ghosts anymore!" "Really squirt? We'll see about that. In the meantime, I made you some waffles!" she replied, showing the glistened tray she was holding, filled with the glistening fruits of Dash's labors. "Waffles? I LOVE WAFFLES!!" Scootaloo swiped the tray out of Rainbow Dash's hooves and took it to the table. Rainbow Dash, still chuckling, walked over to the kitchen, only to find Scoots vaccumming the food off of the entire tray. "Some of that was mine you know...." Rainbow said with a smirk. Scootaloo, clearly not hearing her, continued to suck all the food into her stomach. Rainbow Dash, still smiling, walked into the kitchen to make herself some cereal. As she poured the cereal into a bowl, Scootaloo walked up to the sink next to her and washed her dishes. Nice....she even cleans up after herself. She's already a better cleaner than me! "So, squirt," Rainbow looked over to Scootaloo. "What do you plan on doing today?" "I was thinking about going on an excursion with the Cutie Mark Crusaders! We're going to meet Zecora and see if we can't get a cutie mark in potion making!" Dear god no.... thought Rainbow. "Well, be careful is all I have to say! Make sure you know Dashie loves you!" "Okay.......mom!" Rainbow looked on to see her new daughter walked down the cloud stairs that she made overnight. A single tear fell from her eye as she looked down at the papers at her table. As she read, she filled it in. I RAINBOW DASH AGREE TO THE ABOVE AND WILL TAKE CARE OF SCOOTALOO AS IF SHE WERE MY OWN. BY SIGNING BELOW, I WILL LOVE SCOOTALOO AS LONG AS WE ARE TOGETHER RAINBOW SILVERLIGHT DASH After Rainbow finished reading this, she now could call Scoots.....her daughter.
