A blue bird with a yellow-ish collar flew up into the sky, around the house near Rainbow Dash. The Bird flew into the pseudo window, only to see a sleeping rainbow-maned pegasus. It whipped it wings and created a small tornado, the pegasus awoke, she said while awaking "Stop that! That tickles!" Rainbow Dash laughed. She saw the bird. "Sorry, I already have a pet, but if it's a race you want, then...YOUR ON!" She continued. The bird at first tilted it's head it confusion, but nodded at the idea of a race.

"Ruff! Rufflet!" The bird chirped.

"Get ready little bird... In Three...Two...ONE!" Rainbow Dash shouted, flying off as soon as she finished the sentence. The Rufflet flew off as soon as Rainbow Dash did. The two combatants were neck and neck. "Damn your good you crazy bird! Faster than any other bird in Equestria!" Rainbow Dash Proclaimed

"Rufflet! Let Let!" The Rufflet replied, in joy. The two were still going strong after 10 miles. It continued to go that way until around 20 more minutes. Where both were getting tired. Rainbow Dash panted. "You...Are...Good....Let's just call it.... a tie. Deal?" The Rufflet nodded in response. They rested on a nearby cloud. Rainbow Dash quickly regained her stamina. "Can you do this?" She cockily boasted. before shooting into the air and plummeting down and performed a sonic rainboom with ease. The Rufflet's beak dropped down to the bottom of the cloud it was sitting on. It's shock turned it happiness and amazement. "In fact, you aren't half bad, it won't hurt to have two pets will it?" Rainbow told the Rufflet.
