Joel Zimmerman let his pencil fall to the desk. He leaned back in his swivel chair and laid his feel up on his desk. He glanced over to his red concert mask. The mask. He chuckled, thinking about who he would be if he didn't have it. He stood back up and grabbed his letter. He quickly shoved it into an envelope and licked it shut. Then, without looking, he tomahawk-threw it into the matter transporter he had built out of old Electro gear. It evaporated in a flash of blue.
He had been pen-pals with DJ Pon3 for nine years now.
Joel walked over to his house cabinet. From inside, he pulled out a can of Salt N Vinegar flavored almonds. Suddenly, a flash of blue erupted from behind him. Joel turned and caught the letter in mid air. He set down his almonds and opened the envelope. It read.
SWEET!! I would love it if you came over here! If you can improve the transporter to carry more mass, you could make it over here in one piece! Alright, come on over when you want!

Joel smiled. "Alright. Lets do it!" He ran back to his Matter Transporter and began rewiring the devise. And, In a matter of hours, the "DJ*" hed finished the Matter Transporter V2.0. He turned it on. The Eye of the vortex opened and revealed a room lit by strobe lights of every color, and loud speakers booming electrical music. Joel ran back to his deak and grabbed his red mask.
He heard Vinyl's voice from her side of the transporter. "You almost ready Zimmerman?" She sounded excited.
she should be. Joel thought.
"In a minute!" He called. He had to get one more thing. His almonds. He grabbed them with is left hand while putting his mask on with the other. Once Joel was done, he ran and jumped into the transporter.
"Nine point Six." Vinyl said sarcastically. Joel (now Deadmau5) picked himself up and extended his fist. "Har har."
Vinyl ran forward and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Nice to finally meet you Joel." She said with happiness in her voice. Mau5 had to get down on his knees to finish the hug. But when it was, he picked up his can. "Almond?" He asked. Vinyl laughed.
