//-------------------------------------------------------// Blood Moon -by Electric thunder- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Not Your Regular Campers //-------------------------------------------------------// Not Your Regular Campers Luke shot strait up panting and sweating from his sleep, He took in a long breath and closed his eyes, and looked at his surroundings. He was not in his room, nor the woods, but in a small red and yellow tent, were he was tucked into a large black sleeping bag. The inside of the tent was empty except for the pile of rags in the corner next to the entrance, but on further inspection it was his pajamas which were ripped into shreds. What happened to me, where am I, what’s going on? Luke’s mind started to flood with questions he could not answer himself. Luke looked over his body, to his surprise his right arm, chest, and head were bare, he started with his arm. Luke’s right arm was fully functional and painless; the only flaw was noticeable scar were his arm was bitten. His chest was clean, and perfect unlike his arm, and he could feel no scratch marks, or bumps on his forehead. How did he completely heal over in a single night, what did happen to him? Luke crawled out of the bag and walked to the tent’s flap to peep outside, but as soon as he stood up the flap opened and a young girl about his age walked in. “GAH!” Luke slipped on the sleeping bag and toppled over, he then rolled the bag over his naked body trying to give himself some protection. “Oh, Sorry!” The girl flushed and spun around on her heels. Luke laid on the floor looking up at her, She had dark red hair that came past her shoulders, she wore a lose fitting grey shirt with long, baggy, dark brown, cargo shorts with simple white sneakers. “I, uh…brought you some clothes” She had a calm, sweet voice. She set down a pile of various clothing, and she walked out without a further word. Luke wondered what was faster his heart beat, or his mind…One moment he is walking in the woods in the middle of the night, he remembered a horrible amount of pain, then he wakes up in a tent were a girl walks in on him nude. When does that EVER happen? It was like reality had said “Luke Flowers…fuck you” Luke sat alone for a minute before he pulled of the sleeping bag and swiftly reached for the clothes and hoped no one walked in on him again. Luke started to pick through them, and after a good look he found a navy blue button up shirt that had two breast pockets, and some loose, worn jeans. They did not fit his body exactly, but they will do. He looked at his pajamas wondering what could have happened to them, they looked like a pack of wolf cubs had a field day with them, for his All-stars, they were nowhere to be found, he really liked those All-stars. Luke stood in the tent, staring down at the tents flap, wondering what could be outside, because he felt pretty good just staying in side of his hovel like shelter.  Luke finally made up his mind and decided to grow some balls. Luke pulled the flap aside and took a blinding glimpse at the wild green yonder. “What the…” When reality said “Fuck you” It really meant it. Outside of the tent, Luke saw he was in an unfamiliar part of the woods, the way the trees sat and there look was alien to him. What took him back the most was there were maybe seventeen different tents of all sorts of different shapes and sizes, Smoldering campfire pits that littered the ground like mini creators. Luke counted around thirty people who milled around, some noticing him and giving exotic looks. To the others he probably looks stupid just standing there with a blank expression staring at them. Luke was looking from left to right, taking in his surrounding as best as he could, soon his eyes met a tall lengthy man who came striding over to him. He was as pale as a ghost, the man had scruffy black hair, with a short black goatee going under his noise around and under his lips, His eyes were had a deep hue of blue, he had a stubby nose with a rounded chin. The man wore thick patchy jeans matching his hair; he had a grimy dress shirt under a long tattered trench coat. “Ah you must be the new pack member” He said in an enthusiastic tone, His voice sounded similar to Morgan Freeman. Luke was silent for a minute, as he stood looking up and down at the man pack member…what is going on?! “What?” Luke said flatly. “You, are the new pack member, yes or no?” He raised one of his eyebrows. “I, uh…what?!” Luke stuttered. “Oh, so you don’t know what happened do’ya?”  The Strange man eyed him. “N-No I don’t” Luke said quietly “Boy, you have been given a very special gift” He said patting his shoulder. Luke looked at the man’s hand “What are you talking about?” The man acted as if he heard not a word he said. “Oh, my name is Felix, Felix Montgomery what’s yours?”  He smiled warmly at him. “Luke, Luke F-Flowers, but what’s going on, were am I, how did I get here, what happened to me, wh…” Felix cut him off. “Whoa, Whoa hold up, one at a time…here walk with me, I will explain are little situation once we have a little peace and quiet” He moved his hand onto Luke’s back and they started to walk past all the commotion that came from the strange camp and walked into the woods. The pair walked some distance, before Felix looked over to Luke and started to answer his questions. “So first question…Ah yes, you Luke are, or were in the Black-woods pack camp, we found you out cold from your transformation out maybe a mile east of here” He explained. “Transformation, what are you talking about, I was just taking a walk in the woods!” Luke was taking deep breaths. “Oh…you don’t know what happened…I see, son listen close, Luke flowers…you’re a werewolf” Felix face became serious. It felt like the universe had just smack him in the back of his head with the reality textbook, at the same time, his mind just imploded, exploded, and then imploded. Luke’s face gave enough explanation to Felix what he was going through, but to Felix surprise, Luke’s face relaxed and a small smirk started to spread across his face. “Ha…Ha ha, I get it…You can come out now, I feel for it, you can stop now!” Luke turned around and shouted to no one. “Boy, I don’t know if you hit your head, or something, but talking to the trees isn’t normal, son” Felix looked at him seriously. “How did my dad put you up to this…Wow he’s good!”  Luke then started to realize something, how did his father, fix him up over the night and he did not notice at all, or how can he explain the excruciating pain from the night before? The smirk slowly started to fade into a face of revelation. “Oh…my…god” Luke stuttered. “Trust me, it’s ok to be a bit shocked, actually you’re taking pretty well…” Felix made his way over to Luke. Have you ever had a moment were there was something so ridicules that could never be real, even when it was happening right in front of you?  Multiply it by six…and a half. “You need a minute?” Felix asked Luke. “A minute? I need a fucking month…” Luke dropped to the forest floor. “A werewolf…a werewolf…I’m a werewolf, great” Luke slurred to himself. Luke spent a good long while muttering to himself like a man with insanity would in the asylum. “What happened to your arm there” Felix said nodding to Luke’s arm with his head. “Uh, what…oh that, I don’t know something bit me a few weeks back” Luke waved his right arm in the air. “Yea, and what did this ‘thing’ do to you” Felix air quoted ‘thing’. “Besides beating me half to death, nothing, it did nothing” Luke angrily mumbled to his lap. “Listen, I know you just went through one hell of a wake-up call, but cut the attitude” Felix had the best poker face Luke has ever seen. “S-sorry, it’s just…hard, it’s not every day you learn that you are a werewolf” Luke looked up to Felix who was resting on the side of a tree. “Yea no shit, but you need to tell my anything and everything about the night the thing bit you, this is very important” Felix knelt down next to Luke. Luke started of slow explain everything he remembered about the night he and his father went camping, to the noise he hear outside of his tent, then him waking up in the hospital a few days later with bandages over his chest and his arm in a sling. Felix was silent for a minute before he stood up reaching a hand down and helping Luke to his feet. “It was a werewolf no doubt, but who was it the question on hand” Felix droned of in his mind. “So what happens now?” Luke followed Felix as he started to walk off rubbing his goatee. “You will remain here; it’s much safer to stay away from others in the beginning of your maturing wolf sprit” Felix rubbed his beard. “What about my parents, my family, I can’t just leave them without saying anything!” Luke protested. “Yes you can, you’re doing right now” Felix said looking over his shoulder. “But-But there my parents can’t I go and tell them what happened” Luke protested “Oh what are going to say ‘Mom dad I’m a werewolf and I’m going to live in the middle of the woods with a group of strangers’ no, I will leave them a note saying you are perfectly safe” He said strictly. “Then they would just call the cops saying I was kidnapped, or something!” He argued. Felix gave a hard sigh “Fine, I will take you home…later, I need to think over a few things, and in the mean time you can meet the rest of the clan” Felix walked up to Luke, griped his arm and pulled him to his feet and they made their way back to the camp. If it was because he was a werewolf, or he was just that good, Felix got the two of them from seemingly no were right into the camp in a very short period of time. Once we walked into the camp, a hairy, buff man came walking up to them. He looked like a lumber jack; the man wore a red plat shirt with a big pair of jeans, with thick tan boots. He had large brown eyes, and had thick curly ginger hair with a thick, curly beard. “Ah there’ya  are, I see you were talking with the new pack member” He had the sternest, deepest voice Luke as ever heard. “Oh, Yes I was, Mark could you show him around…I need a few minutes, I need to think about something” Felix looked up to Mark. “Sure thing, come on pup, lets meet the clan” Mark placed a meaty hand on his shoulder and pulled him deeper into the camp, and when Luke looked back to Felix He was gone. “That’s creepy” “Ah, you’ll get used to it, lad” Mark Smiled under his thick coarse beard. “He is the Alpha, he needs to be quick on a lot of things” He added. +++(*)+++ As the two of them greeted the people of the camp Luke found three people who stood out the most. An old man named Eli who wore old, fancy clothes with sliver white hair, Eli was around seventy years old and had an ageing voice that was filled with wisdom.  In the short time they talked Luke could feel the respect the man had just from the way he looked. The next was a middle aged man named Justin, who was a fairly short man about five in a half feet tall who had a very light hearted, kind, and creative train of thought. He was also a perfectionist, so he was the guy who took on the repair jobs. The last person was a young woman around twenty named Dina, she was a true Italian, and an amazing cook she could make almost anything taste good if you gave her the right stuff. She was a master and cooking the venison from the deer the others hunted. “And that should be just about everyone” Mark put his hands on his hips. "But I didn't see Katie, last i saw her she was as red as a fresh cherry" Luke came chugging up next to him, panting, for such a big man he is fast. “So that's Her name...[Gasp]...I need to get out more” Luke sighed. “Well lad, you’re going to be out and about a lot with us” He winked at him. “What now?” Luke asked. “Until Felix is ready, nothing, you had a long day though lad, go and have a lie down, it’ll help” He grunted. “Yea that sounds good” Luke straitened his back. “And on your way back lad, get something to eat; you look like a twig” +++(*)+++ Luke was in his sleeping bag chewing on a strip of deer meat freshly made by Dina and was reflecting on the day’s events, it would help if he had is journal. I’ll grab it when I go back home He thought. So, I’m a werewolf He added. Luke still had not a clue how to react to his situation, he could only compare it to being dropped on an island that can float in the air, with no reason how, or why, it’s just happening, you just deal with it, basically. Luke rolled over in the bag and slowly drifted off to sleep. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Rage Of Fire //-------------------------------------------------------// The Rage Of Fire Luke woke up in hopes to see his bland room back in his house, but his hopes were crushed when he found himself staring at the wall of the tent that he had previously woken up in the day before. Luke pulled off the same sleeping bag, and stood up still wearing the loose fitting cloths Katie had brought him. Luke Walked up to the opening to the tent and reluctantly pulling it aside and walked out into the camp. Outside the sun was slowly peeking through the canopy of the Arkansas wood, a fewer amount of people than the last time, milled around. Luke without a clue on what to do, started to walk around looking for anyone who popped out to him, and he soon found himself walking with Eli. “Oh, Luke how are you, my boy?” He asked leaning on his polished cane. “I-I’m fine, just a bit shaken from…you know, learning I’m some mythical creature” He stuttered. “Oh, I know, my boy…there is a fine line between mythology and reality, and sometimes people will cross that line, but you need to listen, my boy…there are many who do not like us, the ones who cross the line” He looked at him sternly. “W-what do you mean?” Luke was taken aback by the old man’s speech. “You must understand, my boy, many people are offended by the reality of fiction, and some will react violently towards it” He said taping Luke with his cane. Luke gave a silent gulp as he looked down at the man. “Luke!” He was snapped out of his train of thought. “Hey Luke, over here!” Luke followed the voice. Felix stood alone, waving over to him. “Go, but remember what I told you” Eli gave a weak smile before shuffling away. “Ah Luke, come on, I will keep my promise” Felix patted Luke on his shoulder, as he looked to the sky. “And the hunters will be returning soon” He added as he started to walk with Luke in tow. As the duo made it through the camp, greeting other clan members Luke notice a tent ripped up, and ruined. “What happened…” Luke lightly pointed over to the wreck. “Snap transformation, it’s when a werewolf transforms right out of the blue” He said flatly. “Can’t you just, control it or something?” Luke asked. “The spirit can’t be fully controlled, but it can be influenced by emotions or a very determined mind to turn” “What else is there to know?” Luke asked sarcastically. “Well you don’t only transform on a full moon, the more moon light the higher the chance, with snap transformations…the silver bullet thing, a myth, also, you have a much higher pain tolerance when you are…one-with-the-wolf…but you are not immortal, Plus when you turn, you don’t  lose control over yourself,  it’s your way of thinking does ” Felix responded with full seriousness. “No I did…I mean…never mind” Luke sighed. “I know it’s hard, but with time you will understand” Felix stepped over a fallen tree. Luke looked over his shoulder; he did not realize how far they traveled. “Well come on, you wanted to see your parents right…then stop standing there, let’s go” Felix waved at Luke to follow. The pair started their trek through the woods, after a good distance, Luke started to wonder if they were heading in the right direction, but he held his tongue, and just trusted Felix. Luke remained a few paces behind him, looking over the ragged man. He wore the same clothes as before, his hair was greasy and dirty, Luke could see the large bags under the man’s eyes, but he remained all the same. They traveled in silence, giving Luke time to look around and retreat into his mind. The forest was swaying back and forth with the wind’s song as it swished around them. Birds chirped and whistled above them, and occasionally a few would flutter by under the canopy. He would watch smaller animals scurry away from them up a tree, or into a bush or shrub. Luke soon lost his mind in the woods, taking as many details as he could, watching the animals running about, or examining the knots in the trees they past. In a short time Luke started to recognize a few of the trees that he used to walk by on his night hikes. “Hey, do you smell that?” Felix interrupted his wonders. “Smell what, I can’t smell anything” Luke said, looking at Felix. “It…it smells like smoke” Luke stopped and took in a deep breath, and he could faintly smell a very light sent of burnt wood. His heart dropped. “Grill, fire pit…” Felix tried to list the reasons for the smell. Luke started into a hard run… Last time he checked his parent never had a fire-pit, or grilled in the morning. Luke was thundering through the forest leaping over the rocks, and logs sprinting in the direction of his home. Luke Busted out from behind a large hedge into a clearing, with Felix right behind him, Luke snapped his head from left to right. He stopped cold in his tracks. Where originally his bland square house used to stand, there was now only a smoldering, chartered husk of his home. “Luke, I’m so sorry…” Felix said softly “No…no…t-they might not have been home!” He stated loudly. He jogged around what he thought to be the back of the house, to the opposite side, but all his hopes were crushed when his father’s and mother’s cars were parked in the gravel drive-way. Luke dropped onto his knees; he brushed his hands over his hair, as he started to cry uncontrollably, yelling and cursing anything he could think of. +++(#)+++ Luke had his thighs pressed on his chest with his face buried in his knees; he sat feet from the door-way of his now destroyed home, later on, Felix came walking out with something in his hands that Luke did not bother to look at. “Here, I found this…and I’m sorry…your parents” Felix sat down next to the teen. Luke brought his head up, he had no color left in his face, his eyes were puffy and blood shot, his lip was slightly trembling, Luke looked down into Felix’s hand, were his journal sat covered in grime. “Out of everything that was ruined, destroyed, this…this survived” Luke said taking the journal into his hands. “Come on…I think you…I need to show you something” Felix stood up extending a hand down to Luke. Luke accepted his hand and was pulled up onto his feet with a face of dread, Felix walked into the clearing to find a sense of direction, while Luke shuffled past his home. They soon made their way into the woods once again leaving the home behind, Luke stopped at the tree line, looking back at his home… everything has changed…he is no longer himself on the inside…he is now  a freak of nature, living away in the woods hiding from the world. This is where he starts a new live, as a different Luke Flowers… “Found it, come on!” Felix started off into the woods with Luke in tow. +++(#)+++ The sun was now high above in the sky as they walked along the side of a corn farm into the woods seemingly lost. “Look, I understand, I lost my mother when I was young…and my father left me to start a pack, alone here” Felix gestured to the whole state. Luke was silent as they passed the large corn field on their way to…where ever they were going. +++(#)+++ It was another hour of roaming passed farms, fields, and woodlands, until finally the pair came upon a large pond about fifteen feet in diameter, bushes and flowers littered the bank of the murky water. “What is that?” Luke said briskly. “This is ‘The Shimmering Pool’ the birth of the first native werewolf” Felix said with a smile as he walked to the water’s edge dipping his hand inside of it. Luke followed him and squatted down next him “The first native werewolf?” “Yup, the story goes that a Shawnee traveled all over the country, going far and wide, searching for a pond like no other ‘The pool that shines’ He said that he was given to him in a vision by the spirit of the beast. It took him over nineteen years before he came here, to this pond. It is said that he sat down on the water’s edge and waited…Until finally a full moon was shinning, and at the stroke of midnight the pond started to glow and hum. Then the beast spirit floated from the waters and pulled him inside of the water. Under the surface the spirit told him ‘For finding my pool, I give you a piece of my soul, may you prosper with my gift' and he was delighted, and on the next full moon he turned becoming the first ever native werewolf...and years when on and the gift was widespread, packs formed, and the werewolf prospered. But a group of men formed a guild called "The Silver Hand" and they killed of hundreds of us in the 1800's, soon we went into hiding and here we are” Felix gave a sigh, his reflection copying him. “What about the first werewolf?” Luke asked. “Somewhere in old, old, old England if you believe the stories…” Felix droned of. At first Luke started to cry silently as he mourned his parents. The two sat on the bank of the pool, with empty minds, just watching the waters reflection, Luke almost thought the spirit would come from the water and take him. “Well come on, let’s get back before night fall” Felix said standing back up. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Boy Who Cried Werewolf //-------------------------------------------------------// The Boy Who Cried Werewolf May 1st 2011 Wednesday My name is Luke Flowers, what a manly name! anyway my Parents thought it would be a good idea to have a journal, write down my thoughts when troubled and whatever else you write in a journal…I can’t think of anything else so I guess that’s it for now. May 2nd Thursday I Hate school. today was a miserable day. The day started by the early morning rain soaking my clothes, then when I get there the school bully, Anthony throws me to the ground so I lash out at him and...BAM! a teacher comes around the corner landing me in detention... oh and I was dumped...again. I am so angry I can't even wright a good journal entry. Talk about shit hitting the fan. May 3rd Friday Today was better at school, Anthony was caught ditching school with his goons, he was so pissed, I could not stop laughing for hours. My ex-girlfriend found someone new witch I really don't care about, never liked dating anyway. but what really made my day was when my father thought it would be a good idea to go camping for the weekend. He said it would be just the two of us out there in the woods with only our supplies and each other. He said it would be a good bonding time, like my grandpa would with him when he was my age. I thought he was crazy, two guys alone in the middle of the woods? No f-ing way. Then he said it would be on the property, just away from the home while mom takes a break from us. Well soon I said alright, his face grew wide with joy and said “We are going to have the best of times!” before walking off to start packing. Gotta love him. May 4th Saturday So I brought the journal because my mom thought it would be a good idea to write what we did, so without too much complaint I took it with, we packed a large tent, two sleeping bags, water, food, and other random stuff you bring on a camping trip. We when as far as we could on our property and made camp. we walked around a bit, tried to bird watch and took a little hike to no where. this is going to be interesting. May 7th I don’t what the day is, it all happened so fast…I just don’t know…I don’t know what went wrong. I was in my sleeping bag, it was like midnight or something…and I kept hearing this sound like a animal that was walking out side are little camp, and out of natural curiosity I went to find out what it was…that’s all I can recall, I woke up in a hospital bed a day or two later with bandages on my arm, chest, and head. May 13th Sunday I left the hospital today in an arm sling. I found out what happened that night, there was something outside of the tent, no one knows what, but when I left the tent it attacked me bit my arm and tromped all over me until I was unconscious, my dad cam running out, it ran off into the night and I was taken to the local hospital…I can’t help but think…this was no random animal attack, call me crazy but…I need to sleep it was a long day. May 15th I had a horrid night mare last night. I dreamed I was in the woods and…and that I… I was something else ravaging through the woods killing anything I could find…but the worst part was…I found myself leavening the tent…I felt burning hatred and grief when I saw my terrified form. I attacked myself and in the height of the attack I woke up sweating, and screaming. I have never been so scared. +++(*)+++ Luke closed his composition book he was using as a journal after he finished his last entry and stood from his desk. Luke rubbed his face with his left hand rubbing his aching eyes; he turned around to face his room. His desk was a small plain dark oak wood with his school books in a stack of three his math book, then English, then the science book. There was a messy, thin stack of lined paper with his journal and pencils atop of them. His bed was a long thin one with a ruffled dark green blanket, and a matching cover with a simple feather white pillow at the top, it old sat on a simple white metal frame. A window separated into four even squares hung above his bed shinning soft dull rays of moon light through them casting a shadow over his bed. Across the foot of his little old bed was his fairly new  polished oak dresser with six drawers with small iron handles, it had a large mirror attached to the back of it were Luke could see his reflection. He was tall, thin, pale, with short messy dirty blond hair, his ears round and flat on the side of his head, he had a long thin nose like the rest of his body, his eyes were round and soft  green in color, his chin was thin and slightly pointed, he was wearing his very comfy red silk pajamas. His right arm was wrapped in clean bandages, with a arm sling holding up. Luke took his eyes off the mirror and pushed the button on his light blue desk lamp and crawled into his bed that creaked under his weight. He pulled the blanket over his body and rolled onto his right side before grunting in pain and rolling onto his back. Luke rolled his head to face the sandy gold wall, which had a white wood edging at the bottom that over lapped the hard, dirty, old rug floor of his room. He was afraid to sleep; ever since the attack he was having the worst nightmares. Luke turned his gaze forwarded were he  lost track of time as he lay in the bed gazing at the white popcorn ceiling as if he was standing in front of the world’s most complex picture of art. He shook himself from his trance and closed his eyes, whom felt like anvils instead of eyelids. He closed his eyes and in no time at all was drifting into a heavy sleep., he did not even bother to take of his sling. ++(*)++ Luke awoke from his droning slumber with a cold shudder; he was taking slow long intakes of air through his mouth. He had another nightmare, this time it was more real than ever, it started with him alone in the woods walking, it was cold and drafty with a thin mist in the air. The trees were tall thick and dead with their branches all tangled and askew with one another, the moon hidden behind the canopy. He walked for what felt like eternity before a small clearing in the forest came to before him. Luke walked right in to the opening were soft grass was visible under the full moon that sat right above him shinning down like a warm smile. The air was chilled, silent, and musty from all the trees, Luke stood alone and still gazing upon the moon. He was completely unaware of the large pair of blinding white eyes glaring at his frail human body, for he was to distracted by the large soft moon light that was casted over him. Luke’s heart started to thump loudly in his chest when a deep, evil growl was emitted from the trees around him. Luke froze were he stood, not daring to anger whatever could possibly made that sound, his eyes flicked back and forth. His eyes eventually came in contact with whatever was watching him, two slanted, glowing, white eyes. He heart stopped beating, and he held his breath his heart feeling like a drum in a rock concert beating fast and hard. His mind screamed to run but his legs were latched to the ground as if he was nailed to the earth. A large wolf like animal came crawling from the shadows into the dim moon light, it had those glowing eyes he saw before with many dagger like teeth, it had a large thicket of hair from the base of its neck to the middle of its back, it had large toughs of hair around its wrist were two massive paws were cutting into the ground with long curved claws, it had a big bushy tail, the rest of its body was more thinner hair, he could slightly see its ribs from the way it was positioned on all fours. Luke had no idea how to respond as two had what looked like a staring contest between a lion and a newborn fawn. It gave another deep menacing growl that rattled his bones. They stood facing one another for some time until the beast started to make its way toured Luke who was now shaking with fear. It walked closer and closer to Luke who wanted to run as fast as he could, as far as he could, but his body was in lock down and refused to move a muscle. It stopped mere inches from his face, he could feel its deep hard exhales on his face as he stood there not taking his eyes of its own for a second. It gave a booming roar right in his face hits maw open wide, saliva splattering some on his face, but he did nothing to wipe it away. He remained still even when it came to stand on its hind legs towering over him at seven feet tall looking down upon him like a man would a ant. It drew back one of its all mighty paws way above its head and brought it down across his head, to where he woke up gasping for air. Luke tore the blank off of his warm body to be met with a wave of cold, but he ignored it as he stood up from his bed and unsteadily opened the door to his room into the hallway outside of his room. The hallway had a same exact colors as his room, Luke looked down the hall to the left were two painted doors stood facing one another, and beyond them a window that had the lazy moon light drifting inside. To his left was another set of doors and one of the leading to his parent’s room and beyond those doors a opening to the left that lead to the living room. Luke shuffled as quietly as possible down the hall past his parents room were a heavy snore was audible. Luke sighed in relief as he made his way into the living room. Luke walked under the arch way into the tile living room. The tile was a mix of blue and some kind of tan/peach color, there was a large deer fur rug on the floor under a short glass coffee table and around the table was a long green couch with a matching love seat to the left, and loafer to the right. They had decorative stands between them and across from the couch were a large flat screen T.V with his gaming console, under the DVR box. The whole room its self opened up to the Kitchen/dining room to his left, and to the right was the main entrance. The walls had various pictures of art and family photos but it was too dark to study them clearly, so he made his way for the door. There was coat hanger with a couple pairs of shoes and boots and to his left was a stand that had a slick black vase that was empty at the time. Luke bent down a slipped on his Converse All-Star high tops, and grabbed a thin jacket from the hanger and slowly but surely opened the door to the outdoors. The winds were silent, and the trees were still as Luke tromped through the dead twigs and dry leaves, Luke really did not know where he was heading to or why but he just felt like the best thing to do is take a walk to clear his mind. Luke wandered for a bit before changing his direction then walk a bit, then change his direction once again to the point where he though we was lost but he didn’t care anything is better than his nightmares. Luke finally came to stop, he sat down on the damp forest floor, and he sat with his legs pressed hard onto his chest with his arms crossed over them. Luke shuttered as an image of his nightmares flashed in his head, Luke looked up to canopy, a full moon. The moon…why the moon…it feels different somehow…why is he feeling anything it’s only the moon? Luke Stood up and started to walk out of the woods while keeping his eyes on the moon. Luke in about an hour’s time, walked out from the tree line into a clearing the moon was completely visible above him. As Luke stood under the moon, his skin started to itch and crawl, his right arm started to burn horribly under his sling. Luke started to twitch, he brought his hand up to his face, his left hand felt like it was being ripped apart his fingers were sapping, and twitching rapidly. Luke could feel his chest heaving. What’s happing to him? He started to have this feeling in his chest, like something was clawing his insides trying to pull its self out of him. It was like a big ball that was making its way from the bottom of his intestines, up to his stomach, then up to his lungs. Faster than a exploding bomb, it felt like every bone in his body shattered, then reforming themselves into a skeleton three times to big for his own body. “AHHHH!” His body started transfigure into one of a monster in a matter of milliseconds. He blacked out.
