The Mysterious Relationship Between Ditzy and Daring
"And then Daring Do jumped over the trench and I thought she was safe." Rainbow Dash said as she closed the door to her locker. "But, was I way off or was I way off? Next think I knew, she was being chased down the ally by this huge boulder!" Rainbow Dash stretched her forelegs out to show Ditzy how big the boulder was.
"Yeah, I know, Dash. You talked about the book all morning." Ditzy Doo closed her locker and looked Dash straight... well sort of straight in the eye. "Now I don't even need to read the latest book."
"Sorry, Ditz, but it was so good that I just had to tell you!"
Rainbow Dash and Ditzy made their way out of the Ponyville weather patrol locker room. Rainbow Dash liked to talk to Ditzy while they performed their daily weather duties. They even talked after they were done. Rainbow Dash considered Ditzy a close friend, and spent more time with her than anypony really thought.
"Oh and I almost forgot the best part! After she was free from the boulder, she saw this little filly tied up and dangling over a lava pit!"
"A lava pit?" Ditzy asked.
"Yeah! Can you believe it?"
"No, Dash, I can't. Maybe it's because Daring Do can't go from an icy fortress to seeing a lava pit."
"Oh, Ditz, you can't look that much into it!"
"Sorry, I guess I just don't like the books as much as you do."
"Don't worry about it! Not everypony can like the same things." Rainbow said.
The two ponies made their way to the exit, but before they could leave, they overheard some ponies making fun of Ditzy. Rainbow couldn't stand for it.
"Hey! You!" Rainbow yelled, "Yeah, you!" She yelled at the confused ponies.
"What do you want?" One of the mares asked.
"You think it's funny to make fun of other ponies like that?"
"Rainbow Dash, it's alright, let's just get out of here." Ditzy said.
"No, it's not alright. One of my friends is being made fun of, and I don't like it."
"What are you going to do about it? You can't even get her help," the mare pointed at Ditzy, "She'll probably just end up hurting you!"
The three ponies erupted into laughter. That got Rainbow Dash extremely mad.
"You think that's funny? Well maybe this will tickle your funny bone!" Rainbow Dash lunged for the ponies, but she didn't get close enough. Ditzy Doo grabbed Dash's tail in her mouth, and stopped her from doing anything stupid. The other ponies ran away in fear, and when they were far enough away, Ditzy let go of Dash.
"Ditz! What was that for?"
"Rainbow Dash, I told you not to do anything. I just ignore them, and you should too."
"I know I should, but you're my friend, and I don't like it when other ponies are mean to my friends."
"Thank you, Dash, but next time, just ignore them." Ditzy pleaded.
"Alright, I'll try. Still coming over later?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Oh! Dash, I'm sorry, I can't come today I've got," Ditzy abruptly stopped talking, "...stuff... Well see you tomorrow Dash!"
Ditzy rushed out the door and took off into the sky. Rainbow Dash just looked at her in confusion, but eventually left to go take a nap.
That was too close Ditzy thought as she flew back to her house. I need to see this book immediately.
Ditzy made it back to her house, and rushed inside. She went straight into her room and went towards the bookshelf. She found the Daring Do section and hastily grabbed the latest edition, Daring Doo and the Ice King. Ditzy didn't have time to read the whole book; she just flipped to the end. There was really only one part she was looking for.
Daring Do had finally escaped the icy fortress of the evil Ice King. She had recovered the sacred amulet and avoided the dangerous booby traps. Daring Do was going down the mountainside, when suddenly she heard a scream.
"HELP!!!" The pony cried.
Daring Do looked over her shoulder to see a small grey filly with a yellow mane tied up and dangling over a pit of lava.
Ditzy slammed the book shut, a scowl forming on her face.
"How dare she." Ditzy said.
Ditzy Doo paced around the room, and happened to glance at the clock.

"Oh, horseapples, I'm late." Ditzy said as she rushed out the door and flew off towards Ponyville.
The train slowly began to make its way to the station. Ditzy Doo was pacing impatiently waiting for the train to stop. The train, as well as Ditzy, finally stopped. The doors opened and ponies of all sizes and colors began to flood out. One pony in particular was a yellow mare with a grayscale rainbow mane, and dark pink eyes.
Ditzy and that pony's eyes met, and they smiled at each other. The yellow pony dropped her bags and ran to meet Ditzy. They gave each other a hug, and stayed like that for some time.
"I missed you, Ditz." The yellow mare said.
"I missed you too, Daring." Ditzy said, "I just looked at your latest book, and I think we need to have a little chat."
Daring blushed and looked away, "Yeah, I thought so."
Both Daring Do and Ditzy laughed.
"Don't worry, I'm not that mad." Ditzy said as she began to nuzzle Daring.
"Come on, let's go back to my place." Ditzy said while she grabbed Daring's bag, and they both began to walk away from the train station.
The train finally made it to a halt. Rainbow Dash was flying by the station, and landed near the tracks. She was about to walk away when a certain grey pegasus caught her eye.
Rainbow raised an eyebrow at the scene. What was Ditzy doing at the train station?
Rainbow was about to let it go until a yellow mare came off the train and ran to Ditzy.
Rainbow couldn't really see who this pony was, so she decided to investigate. She walked closer to the two, and slowly moved her head around a corner. Rainbow Dash squinted to get a good look at this pony.
Her eyes widened, and she gasped.
DARING DO!
How is this possible?, Dash thought, She's real!
"Ohmigoshohmigoshohmigosh!!!" Dash squeaked.
She almost went over to the pair, but stopped when she saw Ditzy and Daring nuzzling.
Rainbow Dash stood there with her mouth wide open.
"Wwwaaaa!!!???"

Ok so Rainbow is nosy, Ditzy is pretty smart and chill, and Daring is.... well you'll just have to wait for that one. *insert evil laugh here*
