"really? you've already had 2 whole bottles and it's only 9:30,if you keep this up your liver's gonna' quit on you.are you trying to kill yourself or something?"asked the bartender,crimson star as she handed another bottle to the tan mare.
"if I were trying to kill myself don't you think I would have succeeded already?it's probably best I die anyway,the reaper's been waiting for me for a long time now..."she the tan mare mused depressingly.she took a swig of whiskey from the bottle in front of her.with a grim smile she began to sing softly."heartaches by the number, troubles by the score...

"hi,I'm pinkie pie,what's your name?"asked an upbeat voice from behind the tan mare."why are you so sad?"the voice asked in a slightly less happy tone.
"to answer your first question,I don't remember my name,so don't ask.as to why I'm so sad,it's because...all of my friends.....no,I'm not going to burden you with my story.just go enjoy your life and ignore me."the sad earth pony said.
"how do you not remember your own name?and what's so bad about your story?please tell me it!."said pinkie,talking as fast as only she could while still being understandable.
"I don't remember my name because no one uses it.I'll tell you why I'm sad,but I can't say you won't be crying by the end."the nameless pony said."the reason I'm sad...well,where I'm from,the dead came back as zombies and started eating people,and anyone who wasn't completely devoured rises as one of them.over the course of time I lost all of my friends.they're all either dead or,worse,among the undying."she finished somberly.next to her sitting on a bar stool was pinkie pie,her mane flat,her eyes full of tears.the tan pony took a swig of whiskey and got up.she threw some bits onto the bar and walked out the double doors into the night.
