A Change in the Forecast
(4) Day 2; I guess its not through. part 2
Previous ChapterI raise an eyebrow, which also is now saturated with the color lime.
"And who exactly are you?" I ask, Skepticism dripping with every word.
"I should be asking you the same thing." The man counters. I take this moment of silence to inspect him. he looks to be about twenty years old or so, and he has gray eyes.
Wait, grey eyes? That's unusual. Maybe he really is experiencing this too. I think.
"So...." I say, trying to break the silence.
He cuts Me off. "I find it a bit too much of a coincidence that we're both here on the same day, you're the person who called?"
"I thought you had called."I reply, the raised eyebrow going slightly higher.
He seemed surprised. "It appears that someone wanted us to meet up here. Does your family know about this?"
I quickly respond. "Only my sister."Actually, Melody doesn't even know I'm gone.I think to myself.
He sighed "You're welcome to stay at my house then, and if anyone else is going through this then they are welcome as well."
All the while the 'Pedophile' bells are ringing in my head, and I'm slightly scared but I try to hide it.
After a while(or just a few seconds) I slowly reply,
"Okay." I feel a buzz in my pocket, and pull out my Iphone. Oh Melody's texted me. Figures. I open the app and read the text.
Dusk where R u?
I stare at the text for a few seconds in confusion. Why would she call me Dusk? I think. I shrug it off, and text her back
At the café dwn the street. I reply.
I wait for a second, hoping she would text back. Nothing.
"Winter is coming early this year."
"What makes you say that?" I ask in confusion
He starts to explain his reasoning. "Sometimes I get a feeling, that feeling will tell me if Winter is coming early or late, and if it's strong enough it'll tell me when. On that note, I'd say Winter will arrive sometime around, late November."
I think for a moment. "I guess I can relate with that. Sorta. I don't know why, but I'm one hundred percent certain that Its going to Storm tomorrow."
He pulls out a piece of paper and writes something on it. "Here." He gets up, and leaves the café. I look at the piece of paper.
349 westhaven ct.? Must be his address. I think. I exit the café and walk down the hill.
The walk was uneventful, and as I neared my house I glanced happily at my bike coated in Rainbow Dash stickers next to Melody's purple bike with white ribbons that was also coated with stickers, this time Rarity themed. As I entered the house I yelled the first thing on my mind.
"Melody! Get your bike helmet!"
