Just your typical day in Ponyville. Everyone going about their business. Pinkie jumpin' around, Fluttershy tending to her animals, Applejack working around the farm, all that good stuff. Yet something was wrong for our little dragon friend. After all the time he's been here he doesn't have anything to do. Sure he COULD go ask one of his friends if they wanted to do something or attempt to go out with Rarity again, but its all gotten too old.

He resorts to the last thing he would ever think about doing. He decides to ask Twilight to cast a spell on him.

Twilight, who had just came back from shopping at the market, strolled in, ready to read her new books she had just gotten. Spike had gotten up and went over to Twilight.

"Hey Twilight, can i ask you a question?" Spike said.

"What is it Spike? I recently got a rare copy of 'Forbidden Spells from Hogwarts, Volume One' and i want to get to reading," She said with some eagerness in her voice.

"Can you cast a.... erm..... non-boredom spell on me?"

Twilight had facehoofed at the idea.

"Spike, I don't think there are spells like that. Boredom isn't something you can get rid of with magic. Besides, can't you hang out with one of the elements? You barely ever talk to them."

"I know, but i want to try something new for once. I want to be able to go to places I've never been before and maybe even beyond that! Not be stuck in the same old routine." Once again, Twilight facehoofed at the idea.

"If it'll get you out of your nostalgic state then fine," She had started shuffling through every single last book in the library, Spike picking them up and seeing if they contained any of what he was looking for. There was no such luck for the dragon. He realized if he wanted to get anywhere, they would have to look in the Canterlot Archives. Spike had immediately rushed out the door, Twilight following to make sure he didn't get into any trouble.

Canterlot was as royal as ever. The soldiers of The Royal Guard floating around, patrolling for any pesky thieves or hooligans in the vicinity. The residents were, as always, in their fancy attire. Twilight had taken some time to reminisce in all the memories she had here in Canterlot. Her magical exam where she had gotten Spike, Cadence when she was a young alicorn taking care of her and how they would do their little nursery rhyme. But Spike didn't care about going down memory lane, he already did that. He was anxious about getting to the library and hopefully find the key to release him from this eternal boredom.

The duo had headed over in the direction of the library, finally arriving after what seemed to Spike as an eternity. Spike was ready to rip apart these bookshelves in an instant, but being the goody little two-hoofs, Twilight stopped him. The librarian had watched them come in and trotted over to greet them.

"Hello my little ponys, how may i help you today?" she said in an aged voice. "We have many books here, from Fiction to Horror to Comedy-" Spike interrupted her.

"Do you have any books on how to get rid of boredom?" Spike said eagerly, jumping up and down like Angel-bunny when Fluttershy would make him his favorite dinner.

"Um... What?" She gave him a dazed look. "You do know boredom isn't a sickness that can be cured right?"

"Believe me i tried already. He just wouldn't listen. You might as well save your breath." Twilight dully said.

"Well then... I don't think i have anything. You could check the Star-Swirled The Bearded section, but honestly I've never heard of a case like this." She pondered. "Well good luck on finding it!"

"Should we start searching then?" Spike questioned, ready to go as soon as Twilight gave him the green light.

"Hold up Spike, one does not simply start picking up books randomly and reading them. One must carefully choose out each with one with the utmost preci-"

She looked over to find Spike had already stripped out one of the towering bookshelves of all of it's scrolls and books. Twilight, her jaw now hanging so low if it went any lower it would hit the floor, had used her magic to put all the books back.

"Spike! Be careful! Your gonna get us in trouble!" She exclaimed. "You know what would've happened if anything were to happen to those books? I would have to pay for them! And some of these are 1000's of years old!"

"Whatever yadah yadah yadah can you just use your magic to search these books please?" Spike had been levitated onto Twilight's back as she had started skimming through every single thing that had even a word on it in that section at what seemed to be at the speed of light.

"Wow Twilight, i guess all that reading pays off after all huh?" Spike said in envy to her incredible abilities.

"Maybe you should do some more reading instead of always trying to get Rarity to go out with you all the time." She said while struggling to keep her magic at a sustainable level. "Maybe she likes guys who are smart and not always trying to be kiss-asses." She thought it was a little brash to say that, but it was true. Even though she knew deep down Rarity didn't care for guys like that, she still wanted him to at least become a little more well-educated.

Spike, now with an angry expression, crossed his arms while waiting for her to finish searching. As she finished, she collapsed on the ground as all her energy had been drained from going through so many books.

"Spike... the only thing i could find... was this..." she said while hyperventilating.

Spike had looked down at the pile of books she had found. They were all part of a series called 'How to Have Fun for Dummies'. He picked one of the sixteen volumes and started reading. Twilight who had fell asleep from all that work, saw that it was 4 A.M. Spike had just finished reading the sixteenth book and to his misfortune found nothing. The only thing the book had described were things that he has already done with Twilight and her friends at some point in time.

"Sorry that you couldn't find anything Spike" she said while yawning. "We should get back home. Owlicious is probably hooing like a maniac wondering where we are."

"I guess your right," Spike said sadly.

When Twilight stood up, under her flank was one more book. It was part of the same series yet there was something odd about it. Instead of reading Volume 17, it said Volume ???. Spike had smiled with a grin as wide as when he had gotten kissed on the cheek by Rarity. Though to his dismay when he had opened up the book, all the pages were blank. Just all white pages almost as if Rainbow Dash replaced the authors ink with invisible ink as part of a very funny prank. Though after some skimming, They had found one spell that lay in the end of the book. Twilight recognized it as a teleportation spell although it did not describe where it leads.

"Seems like it's nothing but a teleportation spell Spike," she said wanting to go home. "Looks like we better go."

"Cast the spell on me," Spike boldly pronounced.

"What?! Are you crazy! It doesn't even say where it leads and you want go all gung-ho and cast it?!" She yelled, her voice echoing through the empty hallways of the library, thankfully not waking anyone up.

"Twilight, i have never been more sure of anything in my entire dragon life," He put his hand on Twilight's shoulder. "Cast the spell."

Twilight who had been awe-shocked hearing this from a dragon who was scared to even step one claw into the Everfree Forest, wants to travel to the unknown through some wacky spell.

"Fine Spike," Twilight nodded. "I'll cast the spell. But one thing."

She pulled out a stone from her saddle-bag. It had the shine and color of an emerald though it was still just a simple rock.

"Take this stone and keep it on you at all times. When you want to return from wherever this spell leads you, just think of Ponyville and hold on to this stone as tight as possible."

Spike nodded, holding the stone tightly in his hands while Twilight had begun reading the spell.

"Ah... Ok got it! Are you ready Spike?" she said.

"I've never been more ready in my life," he reassured her.

"Spike be careful... OK?" she said solemnly.

"Don't worry Twilight. It's me remember? Your Number One Assistant!"

"That't what i'm worried about..." she giggled.

As Twilight started chanting the spell out, the usual magic aura came out of her horn as usual, but something was strange about it. Surrounding the usual purple glow of her horn was a bunch of letters and numbers all floating around i an unusual fashion. As she finished the last remaining chants of the spell a dark beam of those same numbers and letters had enveloped Spike and had swallowed him up into the unknown.

Spike had known what it was like to go through one of Twilight's teleportation spells. It would a split-second of him it a sort of non-existent purgatory and then poof! He would be where he had gotten transported. And that was for spells that only took him a few inches from where he was originally standing. But this was different. It was all black and he was free-falling. All of a sudden, a bunch of green numbers came up all stacked on top of each other in a vertical row. This had continued for about 2 minutes until he saw a white light and blinded him. He then, woke up on top of a floating rock. Getting his bearings, Spike stood up and saw what he had been taken to.

Walking over to the edge of the boulder, he peered over the edge. There were a bunch of other floating rocks and each of them contained a building either big or small depending on the rock size. the sky was surrounded by more of those floating green numbers. As Spike was entranced by all that he was seeing, he didn't notice the man in blue shining clothes.

"Hey! You!" The shiny blue man yelled. "Your not supposed to be in this sector! You have to be in the MLP sector!"

Spike had looked back to see the blue man and was startled as he had never seen such creatures before. They were standing on their hind legs like Spike but they were a lot taller and they're legs and arms were extended ten-fold that of Spike's arms and legs. Their eyes were a lot smaller and they had ears similar to those of the pony's at Ponyville but they were much smaller and round instead of spiky.

"Um... Twilight said never to talk to strangers so..." Spike tried to politely walk away but the man was infuriated. He had went on his shiny blue motorbike and started accelerating toward Spike. Spike started sprinting until he reached the edge of the rock. The man was approaching quickly with his bike as his bike was leaving a giant blue line trail. Spike realized his only option was to jump and hoped he landed on one of those buildings. As he was floating he realized he wasn't falling at the normal rate of gravity. In fact, it was pretty much like zero gravity as he was floating through the air like a feather.

Waddling to the nearest building as fast as he could, he noticed there were a bunch of cats that looked like Rarity's cat Opal. Except their bodies were that of a waffle and they were leaving behind a trail of rainbow's. And they would never stop singing. It was like Rarity's cat, Pinkie Pie's singing, and Rainbow Dash's Rainbow trails put together. When he finally arrived in front of the building, there were two words on the front. 'Data Center'. He decided to go in and hopefully ask someone what was going on.

Inside, there was more chaos than there was outside. There were stick figures running around with all white faces that had deformed chins. There were also more of those weird cats and of bunch of other people doing weird expressions. There was a counter with about 5 people working in it and they didn't seem the least bothered by what was going on. Spike decided to go to them as they seemed the most normal out of everyone here. He walked up to the front counter to speak with them.

"Hi, my name is-" he was cut off by the employee.

"Yes, your Spike! Your supposed to be in the MLP Sector right now!" He said in a rather weird accent.

"Um, can you tell me whats going on?"

"You don't know? Hey guys! he doesn't know!" the employee shouted.

Everyone averted their attention onto Spike now blushing fiercely. They all started to go crazier than they were before literally destroying furniture and throwing it all over the place. All the employee's were laughing like maniac's.

"Your in the internet bro!" He resumed laughing. "trololololololololol"

"I'm in... What?" Spike said getting a headache. "Whats with all this madness?"

"Here, take this." He then handed Spike a small machine that was all white and on the back of it said 'I-Pod'. "Use that to get around."

"Um thanks?" Spike had turned to walk away.

"Your welcome. Also madness? No. This. Is. Sparta!" the employee pulled a lever sending Spike down a trapdoor.

Spike, who was once again falling had still been wondering what the hell happened to him. He landed face down in some weird diner. The diner looked standard only having one particular feature. On the wall there was words in blood that said

'There was a hole here, its gone now.'. Spike decided that being in a bar with a bunch of blood on the wall was not the very best situation to be in right now and he has had just about enough of this whole dimension. He tightly held the stone in his hand and thought of Ponyville. He thought of all the fond memories, about his friends, about Rarity. The stone then lit up the whole entire room with a dazzling green light. Spike was covered in the light and sent through once again the same portal he used to get here.

He appeared back in his beloved library in the middle of the air. The resulting fall had caused Twilight to awaken from her slumber as she was waiting for Spike to come back.

"Hey *yawn* Spike," Twilight mumbled. "How did it go?"

"How do you think it went?" Spike devilishly said. "Trololololololololololol"

I'm Sorry.....
