My name is Ocean Breeze. I am a blue unicorn with a dark and light blue mane. I always wear my blue glasses and matching bow. My sister and I live in Grand Manan, an island outside of Maine. My sister, Eurydice, is a green unicorn with a green mane. She is the brightest pony you will ever meet. She graduated from magic kindergarten way before I did. She is a scientists that discovers medicane for young unicorns to advance their magic ability.

And then their's me. I don't seem important compared to my sister. Eurydice says it's all in my head, that I am important, but it doesn't help. I don't even have a job. I mess up everything. I even saw a cross-eyed mare delivering mail. I am useless. I can't deliver mail, I can't grow anything, I can't help Eurydice with her work. How am I supposed to help?

All I do every day is swim in the ocean. That's the only thing that makes me feel happy anymore, after our parents passed away. I took it the hardest. Being the younger sister, I depended the most on my parents. After a day of looking for jobs, I would tell them everything. I'd tell them about the opening, about the ponies there, and they loved to hear it.

I still remember the day we heard. I went on a trip to Saddle Arabia for a while. As I trotted to the house, I saw an odd looking carriage outside our small cottage. Another thing we odd. My parents' carriage wasn't out there. I ran as fast as I could to the house. Eurydice was there, along with a stallion I did not recognize.

"Wh-what's going on? Eurydice?" I muttered.

"It's Mom and Dad!" she screamed between sobbs, "They were in an accident! Somepony hit their carriage on their way home, and. . . and. . ."

She couldn't go on. My dear sister began to choke on her tears. I couldn't do anything. Speak. Move. React. Anything. I just stood there in disbelief.

"But. . . I promised to tell them about my trip." I took out the four bracelets I purchased for me and my family. "I-I. . ."

I threw the bracelets against the wall, breaking two of them. I didn't care anymore. I ran up the stairs to my bedroom, sobbing the whole way up. About ten minutes later, Eurydice came up.

"Listen," she tried to sound calm. The green fur on her face was covered in dry tears. Her eyes were red. I have never seen my sister so. . . vulnerable. "I know how you feel right now, but Mom and Dad wouldn't want us to dry over them. They would want us to be strong.

I can't say anything. Every time I try to open my mouth, I again choke on tears. I only nod in response.

"Good." My sister looks at me with concern, and gives me a hug. "Don't worry, Ocean, we'll be just fine."
