Let's write a story! //-------------------------------------------------------// I'm bored today so... Let's write a story! As the school bell rang, school-fillies dashed out of the school-house. Out first, came the popular ponies. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon were the first ones out. Their faces reeked of smugness and arrogance. After them, their supporters appeared. They all were immensely interested in the two fillies in front of them. As the duo walked off, the fans ran after them in hopes of getting another glimpse. Since the fans took up a majority of the school, the crowd thinned out after that. Other fillies started to walk out of the school. Those ponies were more quiet and independent then the fans. All of them were walking, except for one. Applebloom galloped out of the school house and ran up the hill nearby. Moments after, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle trampled out too, trying to keep up with their friend. By the time the two of them reached the top of the hill, Applebloom had her eyes set west as she gazed intently at the two pegasai below the slowly setting sun. Sweetie Belle fumbled and collapsed onto the grass and Scootaloo leaned against a tree, looking curiously at her friend. "Uh, what are you doing?" Scootaloo asked. Applebloom didn't answer. She continued to stare at the two pegasai laughing under the shade of an apple-tree in the school yard. Scootaloo walked up to Applebloom and followed her friend's gaze. She groaned in disgust. "Ugh... This thing again? Listen, I'm no scientist in love, but I still say that there is an 100% chance he won't notice you staring from up here." Scootaloo stated. Applebloom scrunched her nose and her friend's rude remark. "I understand what y'all talkin' about but... I jus can't. If I go on up there n' talk to him, I'll make a clown out of myself! And, we already tried a circus cutie mark..." Applebloom said, still staring at the two colts. "Maybe it's better if you don't hook up with Rumble. Since, you know he's-" Sweetie Belle started, but was suddenly cut off by Scootaloo's hoof slamming against her mouth. "Well look at the time! Maybe we should get going!" Scootaloo said loudly over Sweetie Belle muffled groans. Applebloom sighed but continued looking at him. His flowing navy hair made her tingle all over. His grey coat looked soo warm and cozy too... All she wanted to do was continue staring at him for the rest of the day. But, the Apple Orchard needed her. "I suppose, Rumble'll be here tomorrow..."Applebloom started to walk down the hill. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle shared worried expressions and walked down after her. "Don't get so down Apple Bloom. Look, Featherweight is leaving," Scootaloo pointed at the tan buck-toothed pegasus leaving the scene. "Maybe you can go and talk to him!" Applebloom nodded and picked up her spirits. This didn't have to turn out so bad after all! She picked up the pace and was soon starting to canter towards the colt. Rumble's eyes widened when he saw a filly he had never seen before cantering up to him. Applebloom stopped galloping and she slid towards him. By the time the momentum stopped, they were almost touching muzzles. "Uh Rumble... I have... somethin' to admit to ya..." Applebloom stated. Her ears were a shade of light pink as she continued to blush. Rumble nodded hesitantly, waiting for her to continue. "I... have been watchin' ya from all the way up there..." Applebloom pointed to the spot on the hill,"And... I think... I think I love ya!" Applebloom spurted. Rumble blushed and recoiled. He was afraid to tell Applebloom the truth... "I kinda like you too. Considering this is the first time we have had a real conversation." Rumble said. Applebloom's ears perked and she smiled half-heartedly. That was easy! Too easy... "But... I'm sorry but... I don't 'trot that way'." Rumble said. Applebloom's ears suddenly drooped. He was rejecting her? Why? What does that mean? Many questions swirled around in Applebloom's head. "W-What da ya mean?" Applebloom asked. "I'm... dating Featherweight right now. That day I wasn't at school, I was at Featherweight's... doing stuff. I really love Featherweight and I want to be with him for the rest of my life... so... sorry. I will have to say no..." Rumble walked away, leaving Applebloom in the school-yard. "What?" //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue (because my original story didn't have enough words in it) //-------------------------------------------------------// Epilogue (because my original story didn't have enough words in it) "I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!" Applebloom wailed in Sweetie Belle's house. The other two crusaders surrounded her and looked down. "HE'S GAY! OF COURSE! WITH MY LUCK THAT WOULD HAPPEN!" "Aww come on Applebloom. It's not so bad..." Sweetie Belle tried to cheer up her down friend. However, that didn't work out very well. "Ugh! I am soo STUPID for not noticin'! I should have noticed! The way those two looked at eachother! UGH!" Applebloom slammed her head on the bed. Scootaloo rubbed her friends head in an attempt to make her feel better. Applebloom shrugged her off, however. "Um... Sweetie Belle? Follow me." Scootaloo motioned to the door out into the hallway. Applebloom sighed and lowered herself onto the floor. Of course he was gay! The signs were everywhere! As she started to doze off, she started to think about the time she realized... something was fishy. "Featherweight? Is Featherweight here today?" Cheerilee asked. She crossed off Featherweight's name on the board. The class groaned. Featherweight was the class clown. Without him, the class would be bored. However, Applebloom's ears perked when she heard the next one. "Rumble? Oh, Rumble isn't here either? The two of them are as thick as glue, when one isn't here, the other is always here. Hm... I wonder about those two... I hope there not doing anything... wrong." Cheerilee pondered out loud. Applebloom sat up in her seat. "Miss? What do ya wonder bout those two, eh?" Applebloom asked. Cheerilee jumped and glanced around. "You must have... misheard me... I said I 'glunder' about those two." Cheerilee lied. Applebloom narrowed her eyes. "What's glunder?" Applebloom asked. "It's a new word. It means.... ah...." Cheerilee stumbled, "It means... 'hope'. I was... 'hoping' about those two!" "What were you hopin' about?" "That they are doing well. Applebloom, you ask too many questions. I'm going to have to write home about that." Cheerilee walked back to her board. Applebloom scrunched her nose. Just because she was a kid, didn't mean she couldn't spot bullshit. Thinking back on the experience, Applebloom realized that the entire experience faded into her subconscious afterwards. No wonder she didn't remember it when she went to confront Rumble. Her thoughts were interrupted when the two fillies walked back in with a seductive smile on their faces. "Hey gals! What's with da look?" Applebloom asked. The duo came closer and closer to Applebloom until they were on top of her. Applebloom's face grew hot as the look on the other's faces took control of her. "You know... Rumble and Featherweight don't have to be the only ones that are gay...." Scootaloo smile sent chills down her spine. "You're... not suggestin'...." Applebloom grew anxious about what she was most likely going to hear. "Oh yes we are. Who knows? Why we might get our cutie marks in something else for a change..." Sweetie Belle chirped. "Oh yes." Applebloom smiled back, "This is going to be an interesting experiment..." And with that, the door shut. And the rest was history.
