So there I was lying in bed soaking wet. Jokes on her, she's the one who has to wash and dry the sheets. So quickly getting up and drying myself off ignoring the laughter coming from my mother I set off downstairs to get some breakfast. A daisy sandwich seemed nice around now so I got that and some orange juice. It was a nice meal but over fast because, well, it was small so what would you expect. After that I set off for school, first day back from break so it shoul be fun, right? Going into Sugarcube Corner I got a few cupcakes for me and friends and then set off after having a quick chat with Pinkie. I swear she is too energetic for this time of the morning. Most ponies think the first day back from the holidays is good fun, catching up with friends, chatting, laughing, alot of fun for them. Well this year it is for me. I made some friends over the holidays and now I'm just standing here chatting with my friends, munching on cupcakes, Cloudchaser, Flitter and Roseluck. We became good friends. I'm a purple pegasus colt, black mane and tail. Purple eyes with glasses over them and an random collection of pixels for a Cutie Mark. Nothing that different of me from anypony else. "So then, Flitter what class do you have first?" I asked this while looking at Cloudchaser as she was looking between me and Flitter quickly. "Um, Gym I think what about you?" she looked at Roseluck who was staring at the flowers around her. "Gym, let's go shall we?" I start flapping my wings getting ready to go. "Sure, hopefully we're not going to be running though. I hate running." She looked iritated at the fact she might be running then again we both hated it so that's understandable. "Cloudchaser you coming too?" "Sure, coming now" She starts flapping her wings as Roseluck finally comes from her fantasy landof flowers. "Hey where you guys going?! Is it gym? Don't leave me behind!" She yelled running behind us. Once we arrived in gym and the teacher started calling off names we were just waiting for the teacher to start the lesson already and then we got to an interesting point in the day, a new kid in school. This will be fun to see how he manages. "Digital Hex?" the teacher called looking around. No reply. "Digital Hex?" he asked for a second time "H-here" he said fumbling with his words, so clearly as the wrong thing to do we all made a clear path for the teacher to look at him, he was small even for the look of his age, what is he? Fourteen, Fifthteen? So by the looks of it the teacher was sizing him up, I'd hate to be in that position personally especially being the new kid and all. With a grunt he was done sizing him up and continued calling out names then right on que Raindrops decided to come barreling in towards everyone flying at a rather fast speed. So with common sense we decided to move out of the way at the fast moving object that was Raindrops but she was stopped slightly by something nopony would like to happen to them. The new kid Digital Hex was just hit by Raindrops and now they both had ended up in a pile in the far end of the gym. I wispered to Flitter and Cloudchaser, "That's bound to have hurt." They both nodded in agreement and looked as Raindrops was laughing hysterically it seemed. So everyone recovered from the shock of what just happened so we just started chatting about random things, really just random things. I think I heard one kid mention a crack in the wall. Then the teacher started shouting what to do and as he commanded we all galloped towards the door towards the field. We all got there pretty quickly just waiting for Hex..Once he arrived we were told,  “I want ten laps around the track. Pegasi, no wings! Unicorns, no magic! Ready, go!” I groanded mentally as me and Flitter looked at each other and just started to jog. Staying at the back of the class we just started chatting away ot caring about what is happening around us. "What do you think of the new kid then?" She nodded her head towards the other side of the track where Hex and Raindrops were. Dear Celestia they run fast. They'll catch up to us soon. "He's alright if he learns not to get infront of Raindrops while she's flying but other than that he seems like a pretty cool kid." Flitter nodded as we continued to jog and watch the pair that were passing us quite quickly for a second time, now that was impressive how quickly he could run considering how small he was. Seriously he was half the high of some people in the class. They passed us more and more until the everyone had passed the lap marker ten times. We were barked at an awlful lot by that damned teacher for not being as fast as that new kid. I mean seriously he ran the length of that track really quickly! He could probably get a spot on the track team. Oh great, next push ups. We all have to get into a line and show we can push up and down off the ground. I swear that this teacher gets a sick satisfaction of watching us sturggle with this. "Up, down, fifthteen, up, down, sixteen.." And so it continues. The new kid was sturggling worst than all of us he looked like he was about to drop where he was. This was going to be a very long class indeed..
