Celestia, it felt good to get out of my dorm room.
My college accommodation was nice, especially since I didn’t have to share it with a roommate, but it could get kind of lonely and constricting at times. Also, it was a bit of a mess. Don’t blame me, I’m a student.
I was currently in the park not too far away from Shining Sun College. It was a simple, picturesque place, with lots of green spaces and beautiful flowers, as well as a free audience for me. See, I was a musician. A lyrist to be exact, studying music and its history. The park was a good place to play whatever I wanted to, letting passersby enjoy the music I created.
I sat on a park bench beside a gravel path in a unique position, that many have said would break my back—it hasn’t so far though, thank Goddess. Basically, I was sitting on my flank so my forehooves were free to strum my lyre.
Then I cast a weird spell. Well, not to me, but others would say so. Out from my forehooves, a magical aura spread, molding into the shape of hands. Like what minotaurs have. They were transparent, but colored in my amber aura. It’s hard to explain how they work, so just imagine they’re a sixth sense. Kind of.
I played a merry little tune with my magic fingers, smiling at a little old mare that came past. We usually saw each other around this time, during the evening, and she always gave me a bright grin. We never exchanged words, or knew each other’s names, but we didn’t really need to, did we? I was playing music and she was enjoying it. Simple.
I watched her walk by and kept on playing. I rarely played actual pieces, I just performed from my heart. Yeah, sounds corny, but it just happens. Nopony’s ever told me to shut up, so it must work.
I leaned back against the bench and looked up at the sky, streaked with a gorgeous evening red. Geeze, Celestia’s sun was so beautiful sometimes. So beautiful that it actually damages your eyes to look at it directly. Now that is beauty.
A little later on, another mare went by, but this time my age. She had a lavender coat, with a short yellow mane, maybe too short, but I wasn’t judging. What was more interesting was her uniform. I swore I knew it from somewhere. I couldn’t put my hoof on it though. She definitely looked fitter than me, though.
“Nice music,” she remarked as she trotted past me, looking me over. She then blinked and stopped, staring at my magic hands.
Well, since she had stopped, I took the opportunity to have a nice conversation with her. “Oh, thanks!” I smiled at her and inspected her gear. “Nice uniform.”
“Hmm? Oh, yeah.” She kept staring at my hands and I could just see the gears turning in her head. I couldn’t help but shuffle a bit. “That's... an interesting spell.”
I looked down at my magical appendages, shrugging. “Uh, I guess it is.”
“How's it work?” she asked, taking a seat next to me on the bench. I didn’t move away—she might have been genuinely curious.
“They're useful for grabbing or plucking things that might be hard with hooves,” I replied with a curt nod.
She pointed at my instrument. “Like a lyre.” Then she rubbed her chin, still looking at my magic hands. “So can you actually feel with them, or is it just really advanced telekinesis?”
“I can feel with them. It's hard to explain...” I scratched my mane in thought. I could feel the hairs of my mane, but my fingers didn’t feel grounded. “It is magic though.” The easiest way to think about it was to imagine it as a sort of sixth sense, as I’ve said before.
She gave me this devilish grin. “So, that much flexibility, and you get sensory input? Oh, that could be fun.”
I blinked. “What do you mean?”
A sultry little smirk accompanied her next response. “Think about it. You've got these limbs with a crazy level of flexibility and articulation, that could do all kinds of things you just can't do with hooves. Get places a hoof can't go, touch other ponies in ways a hoof can't touch...” She dropped her voice to a whisper and advanced towards me. “And you can feel everything they touch.”
I could feel my cheeks go warm. That was why she was so interested?! I let out a little squeak and got off the bench. “Ew! Just—what?!”
She frowned at me as if I hadn’t reacted the way she intended. No surprise there. “Something wrong?”
“You're talking about sex and we don't even know each other!” Seriously, who does that?!
“Yeah. And?” She thought for a moment, then outstretched a hoof towards me. “I'm Cloud Kicker.”
Seriously? She was going to do this like nothing happened?
“You don't just talk about that stuff first thing!” I protested, then looked at her hoof. I didn’t want to shake it, but I at least gave her my name. Well, only part of it. “Lyra.”
“Lyra what?” I kept silent and folded my forelegs around my chest. She just prodded me in the side. “C’mooooon. I told you my full name. You can at least be respectful and tell me yours.”
She didn’t stop the poking and I wasn’t going to explode into a fit of rage in public, so... “Heartstrings. Lyra Heartstrings.”
“Well, now we know each other,” she said, that grin of hers reappearing.
“You're creepy.”
Cloud Kicker didn’t seem discouraged, leaning casually back on the bench. “Sorry, guess I did kind jump ahead a bit. Saw the spell, mind went places.”
I wrinkled my nose. “I'm not sure I want to know which places.”
“Pretty obvious, wasn't it?” The grin on her face subsided. “So... maybe we could start over? Didn't mean to freak you out or anything.”
I looked at her for a little while, considering my options. Here was a mare that was obviously on the prowl, looking for sex. Normally I would’ve walked away by now, but... I don’t know, something was oddly endearing about how blunt she was. I could see she was trying, but failing miserably. However, she wasn’t going to get me that easily, no way.
“Okay. Fine.” I sat back down on the bench, looking at her carefully.
“So...” She glanced around, no doubt searching for a subject that was normal. “Nice music, cool spell.”
“And nice uniform.” I snapped my fingers, finally recognizing it. “Ah! West Hoof, right?” I asked, pointing at her clothes.
“Yup.” She then spread her wings and started preening them.
I sized her up, wiggling my lips. “So you're training for physical combat so you can easily take down somepony, and you seem to have sex on the brain. That's not a good combo.”
Cloud immediately stopped preening and glared at me, snorting angrily. “Hey!”
“Well you haven't given me anything else to go by,” I said with a shrug.
“Still pretty far out of line!” she snapped, wings flared.
I frowned at her, leaning forward slightly. “I think coming on to me like that way far out of line.”
“I see a cute mare, I flirt with a cute mare. Big deal,” she exclaimed, throwing her hooves up in the air. “You just called me a rapist-in-training!”
I blinked and backed off. I didn’t mean to call her that, but I guess she was right. She might have been a pervert, but a rapist? Maybe that was too far. “Okay. I guess that was a bit harsh. Sorry.”
She folded her forelegs, grumbling. “More than a bit...”
“You directness just threw me off, that's all.” Perhaps I was in the wrong but she was too and I was going to make sure she knew that.
“Well excuse me for not beating around the bush,” she mumbled, looking away.
“There's a fine line between flirting because you find a pony cute, and coming onto them simply for sex,” I explained carefully.
Cloud Kicker let out an annoyed sigh and the two of us went quiet, not looking at each other. I bit my lip, shuffling slightly. I didn’t know what to say, but I wanted to say something just to end this awkward tension.
“Y'know what? Forget it.” And then she got off the bench and began to walk away
“Fine!” I exclaimed, watching her go. Those slim legs of hers moving independently together, her blond mane flowing slightly in the small breeze, that well toned flank...
“Wait!” I called out after her. She slowed, but didn’t stop. “You were serious about me being cute?”
“Yeah, sure,” she said with a small shrug, still going.
“Then why didn't you say that first?” I looked her over, in that cute little uniform of hers. “That uniform kinda suits you.”
Wait, what was I doing? This mare had just come onto me pretty strong and I—well, I was still a virgin. I wanted my deflowering to be with a pony that I loved and I barely knew Cloud Kicker. I mean, I always imagined taking these things slow! You know, getting to know one another, then a couple of dates, then late nights cuddling together on the couch and then having sex.
But the more I looked at her, the more my body told me to take a chance. I mean, no pony had ever come onto me like this before and... I guess my body kind of liked it. I suppose it was curious. I’m definitely not this perverted. Honest.
To my relief, I think, she came to a stop. “Distracted by that spell.”
“See what I mean?” She turned around and looked at me, tilting her head just a bit. “It just looked like you were only interested in me touching you up, as opposed to actually me as a pony.”
She sighed and started coming back. “Okay, yeah, not my best opener.” Stopping before the bench, she gave me a neutral look. “You kinda shot things down pretty decisively.”
Well, I had my reasons. “Look, I’m willing to keep talking to you, okay? Just as long as you’re a bit smoother.” I offered me hoof to her, smiling.
She took my hoof and shook it, that grin of hers reappearing once more. “So... You want a second chance?”
Wait, I wanted a second chance?! How could she even say that? I mean—okay, maybe I did want another stab at this. But only if she was willing to make a better effort.
“If you can show me how much of a lovely mare you really are, then maybe I just might take you up on your offer,” I told her, grinning.
Her smile turned coy, but I could tell that was fake. “Well what if I'm not as interested in that offer anymore?”
I shrugged. I knew she desperately wanted what I had to offer. Why would she even come back otherwise? “Then you'll never find out what these are like.” I snapped my fingers teasingly.
“And that would be a real shame.” She settled back next to me on the bench. “So what do you do when you're not being the cutest mare in the park?”
I could feel myself blushing. “Play music and go to the College.”
“College? Where at?” she asked.
“Here, duh.” I teasingly stuck my tongue out at her. “It's not a far walk to get to it from where we are.”
“Smartflank,” she retorted with a smirk. “There's more than one college in Canterlot.”
I shrugged half-heartedly. “It's not the royal one, that's for sure. It’s the Shining Sun College.”
Cloud Kicker raised an eyebrow. “Really? Huh, with a spell as cool as those hands, I figured you were from Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns for sure.”
“Afraid not. It's probably the most advanced spell I know.” It was certainly a unique spell, yes, but it wasn’t hard to master. To get in Celestia’s school, I’d need far more powerful spells in my arsenal. Sadly, I wasn’t born that magically gifted. I was only a delta, and you generally had to be a beta or alpha to get into the school for gifted unicorns. Apparently one mare who went there was tested as an Alpha-Plus. That’s powerful.
“Huh. Well, if you're asking me they really missed out by not getting you.” I could see what she was doing. Not that I was complaining, of course. It was a lot better than asking for sex up front.
“Aaaaaw, no.” I shook my head. “I don't know many other spells.”
“But the spell you do know is amazing,” she said, inspecting my magic hands again.
I dispelled my digits away. “Wouldn't be enough.”
“Oh well. Their loss,” Cloud stated with a shrug.
“Mhm.” I glanced over her uniform once more. It was really smart, actually. Not lame like other school uniforms. “So, West Hoof, huh?”
“Yup,” she answered, a hint of pride in her voice.
“I assume you'll join the Guard then, or something like that?”
“Yeah, that's the plan.” She shrugged, continuing, “Military science degrees do kinda point a pony towards joining the Guard.”
I blinked, my brain finally making the connection. “Oh yeah! You're a Kicker! I've heard about them.”
“Yeah. Going into the family business.” The Kicker clan was kind of a big thing in Canterlot. Especially since they had their own clan hold. Plus their history too; even I had heard of the famous Shadow Kicker.
“That's something I can respect.” Slowly, but surely, Cloud Kicker didn’t seem that bad. I guess first impressions aren’t all true.
“Thanks.” She pointed at my lyre. “You're really good. So is your music a hobby, or you gonna make a career out of it?” She asked with a sweet smile.
“I study music and its history at college, so that's the direction I'm heading for. Everypony's talking about this Octavia mare,” I said, waving a hoof. “Heard of her? Not much older than me, but already getting parts in concerts.”
“Yeah, my parents took me one of the shows she was playing in.” Well, I certainly was less posh than she was. “Seems really good, but she's not half as cute as you are.”
Aaaaand I was blushing again. Clearly Cloud had stepped up her game. “Aaw, thanks.” I blinked, realizing my mistake. “It won't be that easy for you though. I need some credibility from you.”
That smirk of hers resurfaced. “Credibility? Like what?”
“It's all very well saying I'm cute and stuff, but have you done this before?”
She grinned, clearly onto what I was referring to. “I'm reasonably experienced. And I've never heard any complaints about my ability.”
“Hm...” I bit my lip. She was getting better, but the ever looming prospect of sex unnerved me. “As much as saying I'm cute is nice, I'm not really comfortable with the idea of somepony just having sex with me that quickly.”
“Okay, fair enough. So let's just hang out for a bit? Get to know each other and stuff, and let you get a bit more comfortable around me. I ever come on too strong, lemme know,” she stated seriously, then grinned again. “Take it as a compliment—you're so beautiful it's distracting me.”
Her suggestion wasn’t a bad idea but her ideals still confused me. “Just tell me why you want to have sex with me. I've always seen it as a thing that only lovers should do.”
“Well, you're nice looking, and seem like a really nice pony. Plus, no point in denying it, I see a lot of fun potential with your hand spell.” She stopped herself and held up a hoof. “But it doesn't matter how many fun spells you have, if you're not a nice pony who I want to share something special like that with.”
Huh. Interesting. “So what is this about: pleasure, or something else?”
“Well, it will be very pleasant, but it's not just that. It's...” She tapped her chin, thinking. “I dunno. I just like sharing that kind of closeness with good ponies. It's just about the best feeling there is.”
“So it's about expressing friendship then?” I pondered her words, tapping the bench. “That sounds strange to me but it makes sense, I guess.”
“Yeah. It's not just the whole carnal pleasure thing, though I don't mind that at all. It's really about closeness. Trust. Intimacy. Sharing something unique and beautiful with another pony.”
Hm. She did sound serious about it, but it was also a little strange as well. “So why me?”
“Because you're beautiful.” I frowned slightly, but she kept going. “Not just on the outside.” She reached over a put a hoof over my heart. “Here, too.”
Her words were touching, yet I was still a little skeptical. Kind of odd for a stranger to come up to you and say heartfelt stuff like this. “And you got that from just a few minutes of talking to me?”
She withdrew her hoof and shrugged. “Most ponies are beautiful, once you get to know them. As for you--well, you're obviously passionate about your music, modest, and willing to give a second chance to a pony who came on a bit too strong at first.”
“M’kay...” I hesitated. Was I really going to do this? What if she was being sincere? I could’ve missed out on something wonderful. “I'm willing to give you a chance.” I glared at her and warned her, “But if this is all a sham then I'll--” I scratched my cheek, thinking. “I'll do something bad.”
“And you'd be right to.”
I nodded, satisfied with her answer. “Mhm. So, er...” I glanced around. The park was relatively empty, but I would’ve preferred to be somewhere more private. “Where to?”
“Well... Would you like to kiss me?”
I blinked. I guessed we were really going for it now. I have to admit, I was a little excited. Well, my body was. “Um, alright then.” I leant closer to her, gave her a quick peck on the lips, then retreated.
Cloud Kicker seemed to take a moment to evaluate my kiss. “Mm. Not bad, but... Sweetie, how experienced are you at kissing?”
I rubbed the back of my neck. “Not very.” I thought it would have been easy to tell that I was all new to this, but I guess not.
“Okay.” She shuffled closer to me and gently ran a hoof over my mane, playing with my ponytail. “Mind if I show you something?”
“Erm, sure.” I sat there and waited for the inevitable.
She leaned in slowly and carefully, meeting my lips. My peck was so quick, I didn’t really feel hers. I flinched at first, but began to settle into it. Her lips were soft. Really soft. And I loved touching them with my own. My anxieties melted away. I may have too, slightly. I just felt so good, I wanted more, so I began to be a little more pushy with the kiss.
Cloud Kicker ran a hoof down my side, but she delicate and respectable, never touching my flank. I replied by stroking her mane softly.
Then I felt her tongue against my lips, just for a moment. I paused for a few seconds, then slowly replied the gesture. Our tongues met in the middle, and Cloud Kicker leant back, guiding me with her.
That’s when sense snapped back to me. I put a hoof on her chest and pushed her away. My body... Wow. It was feeling so good right now, I was worried it wouldn’t stop. “We can't have sex on a park bench.”
Cloud Kicker smirked, lying there. “Technically we can, but we'd start attracting an audience. I was just getting a bit more comfortable for the kissing, though.”
I giggled at that. “That we would.” I gave her a sweet smile. So far, so good. Very good. “This was nice though. Different, but nice.”
“Yeah.” She put a hoof on my cheek. “You can keep kissing me, if you want.”
I eyed our surroundings and bit my lip. “Can we go somewhere less public? Just in case.”
“Yeah, sure.” She hopped off the bench, followed by me. “Your place work?”
“Eh.” I shook my head. “Might get a bit awkward—student accommodation isn't that private.” Seriously, the things I’ve heard...
“My barracks and clanhold aren't all that private either. Hmm.” She spread her wings, looking up at the sky, then back to me. “Mind a bit of a flight?”
“Not at all,” I replied. Since we just pretty much snogged, riding on her back wasn’t as much as a big deal now.
“Okay. I know a great spot.” She knelt down and I climbed aboard, wrapping my forelegs around her. She looked back to me and gave me a quick peck on the lips. “Got a good grip and ready to go, love?”
I had to double take at that. “Did you just call me ‘love’?”
Cloud Kicker blinked at me. “Er, yeah. Don’t you like that?”
I wiggled my lips and mulled things over. I thought that ponies only referred to only ponies like that if they were in a relationship together. That said, not everypony shared the same thoughts I had. “Just caught me off-guard, that’s all.” I gave her a tight squeeze. “Let's go.”
“Alright.” She took off, her wings making powerful strokes in the air. I closed my eyes for a few moments, taking in the wonderful sensation of the wing going through my face and mane. When I opened my eyes, I could see the towers and spires of the city below, a myriad of beautiful colors, ponies looking like ants. Did pegasi really see this every day? It was amazing!
She took us out of the city and dived down, landing on a ledge on the cliff face. “Here we are.”
I got off and stepped near the edge, my mouth dropping. Equestria was stretched out before me, the sun covering it in its afternoon shine. I could see lush, green forests spread out across the land and snow topped mountain jutting out from the ground. To my left, I could see the crystal clear waterfall that fell from the top of the peak Canterlot stood on, and even further from that I could see a small town. Ponyville, I think it was called.
“Wow...” I almost forgot to finish my sentence. The view was simply that good. “This is beautiful!”
Cloud Kicker came to my side, admiring the view. “That was the idea. I really like this spot.”
“Do you come here often?” I asked, not taking my eyes off the panorama before us.
“Sometimes,” she answered. “Usually when I want some quiet time for myself, or when I wanna share the beauty of it with another special pony.”
“That's nice. So, um...” I traced a hoof on the ground. This was it then. The place where we’d do it. I was nervous, but excited at the same time. I was here now though, and I wasn’t backing out.
She carefully took my hoof and lifted it up. “This is our moment of time, Lyra. Don't be afraid,” she said, looking into my eyes. Then she carefully kissed my hoof.
I giggled, enjoying both the gesture and the touch. “Okay.” She guided my hoof down her body, stopping at her flank. I gasped. “Ooo... I guess that training you do is worth it.”
“Yeah. Guard work pays off.” She started moving my hoof in a circular motion. I thought about it, then decided that she deserved what she was looking for. I cast my hand spell, gently rubbing my fingers against her flank. She shuddered. “Oh, nearly forgot about that.”
I gave her a playful grin.“You like?”
“Mmm, yes. Oh, yes...” She took my hoof down to her inner thigh.
I froze, but didn’t pull away. Now I was entering really personal territory. “This is all new to me. But I guess I'm at that point in life where I'm meant to try new things anyway.”
“Yeah, guess so.” Another shudder. “Lyra? Feeling a bit greedy, just having fun with your hand spell. What can I do for you?”
I mulled it over, but came up with nothing. I was still so new to this I could have been into anything. “I'm not really sure what I'll enjoy.”
“Guess I'll improvise then.” She began to leave a trail of kisses down my neck.
I giggled happily, enjoying her touch. “Ooo, that's a nice start.”
“Good,” she said, then went back to the kissing. I closed my eyes, just enjoying the sensation of her pecks. My hand went further down her thigh and... I was enjoying this. A lot. I felt excited, but also safe. Secure.
Loved.
“I'm liking this a lot--maybe more than I should. Is that normal?” I asked.
“Yeah. It's supposed to feel good.” More kisses. “Why do you think I like it?” Then she started to very slowly guide my hand towards her... her peach, let’s say.
I let out a squeal the moment I touched them, dispelling my hands. “That's your... your... You know, uh... What should I do?”
Cloud Kicker shuddered, but managed to reply. “You've taken care of yourself before, right?”
Oh. I guess that should’ve been obvious but--look, when you’re touching another mare’s junk for the first time, you get nervous; this was her most personal, private area on her body, and there I was—touching it. “Yeah. So I just--yeah.”
I bit my lip and gingerly inserted my hoof in.
She let out a gasp, laced with pleasure. “Yeah. S'just like that. One advantage with mares: you already know what makes them happy.”
I didn’t look down. Just at her face. “How does it feel?”
“Wonderful,” she said dreamily. “Oh Celestia, I can only imagine what it'll be like once you start using those fingers...”
I blinked, remembering that I had gotten rid of them. A quick glow of my horn later and they were back and... well, I could sense a lot more down her area than before.
Clearly she was feeling a lot more too. “Oh! Oh... oh Celestia, it's even better than I imagined!”
I nodded, then bit my lip. I was doing this. This was happening. I took in a breath and started pushing a bit more forcefully.
Cloud Kicker blinked, then shivered with delight. “Mmm... S'good. But careful. Not too much.”
“Oh, sorry!” I stopped, yet I didn’t pull out either.
She closed her eyes and nodded. “It's fine. You're kinda learning. Dun wunna go too fast too soon.”
“Okay. Perhaps if we positioned ourselves better?” We were both still standing, which was weird, I guess, but I was learning here, so give me some credit.
“Yeah. Maybe shift a bit so you can see what you're doing?” She opened her eyes and pouted slightly. “Though that would mean I couldn’t do this anymore.” A few more kisses on my neck, much to my joy.
“Can do, but then you got to give me some attention. Lie down,” I told her.
We went down together, Cloud on her back and me resting on her front. “Oh, I intend to give you as much attention as you need,” she said with a smirk.
I nodded and rested my head on her chest, rising up and down with her breathing. I continued to push my hand deeper in.
“Ahmmmm. Yeah... hmm...” She sighed happily, kissing the tip of my horn. I replied by kissing her chest softly. “Oh Lyra... oh sweetie, oh this is amazing.”
I looked up at her, smiling. “I'm glad I can please.” It was good to know that I wasn’t making this awkward with my unfamiliarity at this.
“Me too.” She let out a moan of pleasure. “Celestia, me too.”
I giggled. Now that I had gotten past my initial fears, I was really beginning to enjoy this. “What if I wriggle them around a bit?”
The mere thought of that made her tense up. “That sounds heavenly, love.” I nodded and flexed my fingers down there. “Oh Shadow yes, keep going. Almost...”
I thrusted my hand forward, spreading my fingers as much as they could go.
I felt her warm forelegs wrap around and hug me tightly. “So close... so close...” She nipped at my ear aggressively. It hurt, but the sensation only get me more aroused. “More...”
I kept kissing her chest, still pushing. That’s when I felt something soft against my fingers. I let out a quiet gasp. I could feel her clitoris, it was soft, wet and lovely to touch.
“Yes! There! That's perfect!” She shouted, gripping me harder. “Just finish...” Her words were tense. I was giving her so much pleasure, she was having trouble speaking.

I blinked and carefully withdrew my hand. My hoof was covered in that strange gunk, but my magical fingers were not. I shuffled up, nuzzling her neck. “In what way?”
I think she was still riding the high, if her heavy breathing and aroused look in her eyes were anything to go by. “So good... so good...” I kissed her neck, in response to which she aggressively pulled me up and kissed me.
Her tongue went forward, invading my mouth. My eyes widened in surprise, but soon I closed them and I touched her tongue with my own, revelling the pure, erotic passion that we were giving each other. Celestia, it felt so good...
She gradually relaxed the snog as she calmed down and a few moments later we broke the kiss, our muzzles touched as we looked into each other’s eyes. I felt her warm breath upon my face. I could’ve done this forever, but I needed to make one thing sure first.

Cloud Kicker blinked. “Hmm? Did I say that?” She let out a chuckle. “You really made an impression.” Her head jerked back slightly, and we were no longer touching. “Um, not like ‘marriage and babies’ love, just...”
That was fine. I thought it would be a little odd for a mare like her to love me like that. “Yeah, I thought as much. I was just wondering.”
“Yeah. Um...” She rubbed the back of her neck. “No offense, but I'm not looking to get tied down. Not even to a mare as wonderful as you are.”

“I think it’s getting late, sweetie,” I said, inclining my head at the nightsky. “We should be thinking about getting home.”
“Oh, yeah, I guess.” She sounded disappointed. I was too, but knew that this wasn’t the end. It was a glorious beginning. We climbed out of the water and shook off whatever water we could, before I mounted her and held on—damn it, I can’t say that word anymore without thinking of banging.
We were silent on the flight back to my dorm. I pointed out the directions, but Cloud Kicker took her time getting there. Either she wanted to dry us off, or she really didn’t want to leave me. Regardless, she was really sweet.
Landing outside the dorm building where I dwelled, I led her to my room, stopping just outside the door. I made sure she remembered the letters and number on it: IU2.
“Thanks for showing me a wonderful time, love,” I told her, kissing her on the cheek. “I don’t regret a thing.”
Cloud Kicker smiled bashfully, rubbing her foreleg. “I’m just glad I was able to.”
“We’ll do this again, right?” I was pretty sure we would, but I wanted to be sure. I was a little scared that she had her fill and was prepared to ditch me forever.
“Definitely,” she replied assuredly, giving me a cheeky grin. “I haven’t shown you my toys yet.”
I licked my lips in anticipation of what was to come. “Mmmm, can’t wait.” I gave her another peck, this time on the lips. “Love you, sweetie.” I paused, forgetting to add the extra detail. “Platonically. Goodnight—can’t wait to see you again.”
“Love you too, Harpflank.” She pecked me back, then stood there waving as I opened the door. I was a little worried that she wasn’t going to leave, as heartfelt as that was, but I saw her going as I closed the door.
I turned around, then slumped against the door, gaping at my mess of a dorm room, full of scattered work papers.
Damn work. I knew that was going to bite me in the flank later. Always does.
It had been two days since I lost my virginity to Cloud Kicker.
I was beginning to grow worried. I hadn’t heard from her since and yet she was the only thing I could think of. I wanted another bang, but not from just anypony—only from her.
I ran a hoof through my mane and tried to focus on the work in front of me. I was in my dorm room, sitting at my desk, which was covered in clutter. I was currently making research notes on the history of stringed instruments. I knew the lyre like the back of my hoof (and hand). The others? Not so much. My parents had helped though, since they were talented musicians in their own right: Legato Heartstrings and Carol Heartstrings. Legato was my father, always the prankster—
My parents! I hadn’t even told them that I had banged another pony! What the hay were they going to think?! They’re pretty laid back and content to let me do my own thing most of the time, but this was big stuff!
I scribbled down a few more notes, deciding to concentrate more at the matter at hoof rather than future things. I’d tell them later. Maybe with Kicky accompanying me.
I sighed and put down my pencil, the magical aura that surrounded it disappearing. Time and time again, Cloud Kicker had popped up into my thoughts. I guess I was stressing too much about whether I’d see her again. Whether we’d bang once more or not.
I got off my cushion and headed for the sink; I needed a glass of water or something. I poured myself one and chugged it down, glancing around.
The best thing about having no roommate can just as easily be the worst thing. Parties had noticeably declined since the start of my time in college, so most nights I spent alone, studying. Nopony to talk to or anything.
Maybe that was why I was so suddenly eager to bang Cloud Kicker: I was lonely.
Sighing, I put the glass in the sink to be washed like the other dozen would. I’d get to them. Eventually. I slumped back onto the cushion and leant onto the desk, mulling things over.
When they were parties, I was right in there getting my plot wasted off booze. But the fact of the matter was that Kicky offered me something that nopony else had yet—intimacy. I guess my body was just crying out for some much needed attention by another pony.
The sound of the letter box opening and shutting snapped me from my thoughts. The cushion dragged across the carpet as I got up and wandered over to get my mail. It was probably some mail from the college staff or something.
The envelope was entitled to me with neat hoofwriting, but omitted my second name or a ‘miss’ at the beginning. I shrugged and tore it open, levitating the letter in front of me. I beamed the moment I saw the first word.
