Beyond the Macintosh Hills, past the small town of Ponyville, and absurdly perched on the side of a mountain side rests the capitol city of Equestria: Canterlot. Anypony living their, can tell you that Canterlot is a city of class, dignity and prosperity. It's grand buildings only surpassed by the castle that sits at the very edge of the city. But despite the royal families being the center of the illustrious city, the noble class and socialites are the ponies who's businesses and charity events keep the city, and their lives, wealthy and plush.
This story is not about them.
This story is actually about a minority group of Canterlot: the middle class. These ponies are the ones who don't have many bits in their bank, but are content with what they have and how they live their lives. One of these ponies is right now in the middle of having one of the most interesting (and fan-coltish) conversations of his entire life.
It pays to be DustyKatt.
Dusty was doing what he did every Monday, sitting in his apartment with his set of microphones conducting his interview for his show "Stay Brony my Friends" for the station he worked for: EverFree Radio. He never questioned why his place of employment was named after a strange and terrifying bit of land where hellish monsters roam free, the weather moves itself and fabulous sea monsters search for the latest style. But work was work and he loved it.
Always go through your day with a smile and a song in your heart. That's the Equestrian way.
So on a Monday so wonderful you might even call joyous, Dusty was hosting a very special episode. Sitting across from him is a light gray unicorn with a gray mane and a red highlight, with a blue headphone set for a cutie mark.
" " Dusty asked, casually brushing his MANLY mu-stache.
Mic The Microphone put a hoof to his chin. After a moments pondering, he had some kind of answer.

HE SHRUGS IT OFF CLAIMING IT TO BE "MEH". THE INTERVIEW CONTINUES.

A FEW DAYS (OR WEEKS) LATER DISCORD IS SPENDING TIME WITH FLUTTERSHY. HE BREAKS DOWN CRYING THAT HE CAN'T GET THE SONG OUT OF HIS HEAD. FLUTTERSHY COMFORTS HIM IN UNDERSTANDING.
