I Should Have Never Gone Camping
You have an uncle an' you never told me?" She questioned, suspicious of this revelation.
Rarity caught that hint of suspiscion in her speech and then scoffed in disgust at Applejack's sudden suspicions. "Why, Applejack! I didn't see you interrogate Twilight when she announced her yet-to-be-revealed brother. Hmph!" she expressed in annoyance.
As soon as Applejack sealed the hatch, she turned to Rarity, who was facing the other direction, head raised high, and eyes closed. Yup, she's upset... again. Normally, she'd make an unenthused expression on her face or roll her eyes when it comes to moments like these or when around Pinkie fooling about. But she's gotten used to it.
"So what time?"
"Hmm?"
She opened one eye, then the other, before turning to face Applejack. "Ah said what time we're leavin' tomorrow?"
Rarity was caught off guard. She found herself stumbling on her words. "Oh? The- the time? Well, I- I believe my uncle s-" Before she could utter a word, Applejack cut her off.
"'Cause .
"Before yer go." Rarity stopped dead in her tracks. "You promise you won't be complainin' all the time during the trip. Will you?"
"Me? Complain?" Applejack cocked an eyebrow, forcing her to re-elaborate, "I mean, this time? Of course not, I didn't complain during our trip with our sisters." She defended, cracking a tenative smile.
"That was because let your sister do all the heavy liftin'."
"And that's why I'm packing light, this time. I promise." She said, smiling
"Oh, okay then. See you tomorrow then." Applejack ended, giving a genuine smile.

I Should Have Never Gone Camping
The birds scattered from the trees at the sound of branches snapping and brushes rattling as the two made their way through the forest.
It wasn't just one of them now that was starting to get sick of the forest.
The forest had closed in on them. They've been trying to get back on the road they previously travelled on but there seemed to be no way getting back if the slope leading back up to the road was too steep to walk on. Applejack, leading the bewildered unicorn started to accept the hard fact.
"Something wrong, dearie?" Rarity asked, sounding irritated by this whole predicament. She stopped walking as soon as Applejack did. "It's getting late and I do believe it's around five o' cloc-"
"Rarity," Applejack said, cutting her midsentence. "We ain't getting getting back up on the road any time soon."
Rarity instantly went wide-eyed.
"Applejack explained to Rarity, who was looking as if she was having trouble breathing after hearing the bad news. "Aw, c'mon, Rarity. There's still some good news."
"What.are.you.talking.about?" Rarity asked, exasterbating at every word she uttered.
"You still got me to look after ya." She reassured, unable to stop herself from chuckling aloud even though Rarity was scared to her bones.
Rarity looked at Applejack like she was crazy. "This will undoubtedly be the worst night ever," She snorted. Unlady-like but she had to give out steam in some way.
