Life can be the hardest thing to deal with, when you don't have anyone there to hold and guide you along the way. I was just the schools punching bag, and left out of everything, until I saved the life of one girl that changed my life forever. This is my story.
“You are so weak freshman.” the bully said as he kicked me in my stomach while I was bawling up on the floor, in pain.
My eye was blackened, my lip was bleeding, I had scratches all over me. Then bully grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and lifted me off the ground. He punched me in the face and I felt my nose break. My eyes were full of tears. Suddenly I found myself head first into the dumpster behind the school.
“Now stay in your new home freshman.” the bully said as he walked away laughing.
I just sat there in the dumpster, I didn't want to come out. Suddenly I heard a voice. It was a beautiful flowing voice.
“Oh my god! Are you ok?” asked the voice.
I looked to the source of the voice. What I saw left me breathless. There, standing over the edge of the dumpster was a girl. She had the most stunning blue eyes, they were full of care and love. The thing that got me, was her hair. It was in the style of a rainbow! It was breath taking. I was speechless.
“Hello? I said “are you ok?” She said again.
“yes i'm fine. Just sore.” I replied.
“Let's get you to the nurse.” She said as she pulled me out of the dumpster, I was amazing at her strength.
I followed her to the nurse.
“what has happened?” the nursed asked.
“i was beaten up again and thrown into the dumpster.” I said.
“You better come sit down, so I can tend to you.” she said leading me to a chair.
The rainbow head girl started to leave, but stopped by my shout.
“Hey wait!” she turned and looked at me with those eyes.
“thank you” I simple said.
“no problem.” she said with a smile.
“what's your name?” I asked before she disappeared.
“rainbow dash.”
It's been 2 days since I meet Rainbow Dash. I been trying to find her, but no luck. I mean how had is it to find a girl with rainbow colored hair! If I didn't find her, I may not see her till after summer vacation. Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Moon Star, but I like being called Star. I'm 16 and I live alone. My parents died in a car crash when I was 13. I've been living on my own since. I have a job so I can still get food, clothes and pay rent. I'm 5ft 8. Blue eyes, my hair is brown, I'm one of those guys that's not super strong. I'm not fat or skinny. I'm just...average. Most people in school bully me. I've dealt with yo-mama insults, swirls, atomic wegdies, purple nurples. I could go on forever. Any ways, back to reality.
I walked outside, thinking all hope was lost. I sat on the bench that was outside. I just looked at the beautiful cloudless sky. I've always the day. The warm sun. Summer was my favorite season. I just laid back and relaxed. Thankfully I didn't have any classes right now. Thank you open campus.
"Having fun?" said a voice.
I jumped a bit. I looked to see a girl. It wasn't Rainbow Dash. This girl has pink hair and its all puffed up and curly. She has pink eyes and she smiles. Big. I've never seen a smile so big.
"yeah. I like coming outside. I'm Star." I said
"I'm Pinkamina Diane Pie, but please call me Pinkie Pie."
"Ok. Nice to meet you."
"So... what are you doing out here?" Pinkie said as she sat next to me. She smelled like cotton candy.
"I was looking for someone, so I just stopped to take a break."
"WHOAREYOULOOKINGFOR! IBETIKNOWWHO. IKNOWEVERYONEINSCHOOL!" Pinkie said so fast.
'Wow this girl is hyper. It's cute though.' I thought to myself.
"A girl named Rainbow Dash."
"OHSHEISONEOFMYBESTESTFRIENDS!!!!"
"Really?! Do you know where she is?" I asked. She nods her head. "where is she then?"
Pinkie points to group of girls on the other side of the parking lot of the school. One of them has short purple hair with a pink stripe in it. She looks like a bookworm. Another girl was wearing a cowboy hat and has orange hair tied into a ponytail. My guess is, she lives on the farm near the edge of town. "Sweet apple Acres" I love their apple pie. I saw a girl how has purple hair that's in perfect condition. She has a bunch of makeup on. She looks like one of the girls that must always looks their best. The next girl has pink hair like Pinkie, but her hair is longer and straight. It covers half of her face. My guess she, she's really shy. And last but not least. There she was. Rainbow Dash. My heart fluttered. I got up to say hello. Pinkie disappeared though, but then I saw her over by the girls.
'WOW! She is fast.' I thought
I walked over to the girls. As I got closer, Pinkie pointed to me and said something to the girls. Rainbow Dash started to walk up to me. She was so beautiful. As she got closer the more I got nervous.
"Hey" she said.
"Uh...Hi." I replied weakly.
"I didn't catch your name the other day."
"Oh. My name is Moon Star. Please call me Star though."
"Ok, cool name. come over here and I'll introduce you to my friends"
"OK."
After a few introdutions. I learned everyone's name. The bookworm was Twilight. The shy girl was fluttershy. The name fits her. When I said hi she just squeaked and hid behind the cowgirl whos name is Applejack. The beautiful queen girl is Rarity. I already know Pinkie and Rainbow.
"Hey Star. I'm having a party tomorrow night at my place. You wanna come?" Asked Pinkie.
"sure."
"GREAT!!! See you there!" Pinkie said as she and the girls walked away. Everyone expect me and Rainbow.
"Hey Rainbow."
"Yeah?"
"Thanks for helping me the other day."
She punched my shoulder lightly. "It's no problem. I always help a friend in need."
"I'm your friend?" I asked. 'Why did I just ask that?' *mental face palm*
"Of course your my friend Star. I wouldn't have helped you if I wasn't." she smirked. I loved her smile.
"So...Rainbow, where does Pinkie live?"
"Don't worry. I'll pick you up."
"Ok Rainbow. Here I'll give my address." I took a pen out of my pocket.
"You wouldn't happen to have a piece a paper on you Rainbow would you?"
She giggled. "No, just write it on my hand." She put her hand out, and I wrote out my address on her palm.
"Wow." She said.
"What is it?"
"I live next door to you."
"WOW! That's so weird but cool."
"Yeah. So I'll see you tomorrow Star." Rainbow said as she walked away waving.
I waved to her as she went into the school. Suddenly I had the bell ring.
"Damn. I have to go to World Studies. But I just have o survive it and english then hello summer." I said to myself.
